And the money they bring in is very low.</p>

I forget what the exact math was, but iirc a worker's individual match rating is largely influenced by their three(?) highest in-ring stats (maybe it included Basics, I can't find the post/thread) or something like that. So if Flippy MacKenzie is going to have his high Aerial stat negatively effected by the product, he'll have a worse performance than a guy who has high Hardcore or Puroresu or w/e where Flippy has his Aerial stat. That doesn't mean that Flippy won't ever get good match ratings, just that he won't get as high as he could. The penalty isn't that harsh. Wow. I don't think anyone but Adam can answer this one

Erik Strong Apparently all of the uploads I made with postimg are now gone BUT! The whole reason I changed host sites was because imgur was (for some reason, probably a glitch) lowering the quality of .jpg image uploads. They don't seem to be doing that anymore, so I'm going to go through and edit the posts I made and swap the host site. Edit: so I guess imgur is still compressing the jpgs for some reason, but less than they were. Whatever. This will have to do for now.

So Jack Bruce, Rocky Golden, and Nicky Champion. I don't think anyone else even comes close.</p>

Dwelling on one stat is a waste of time.

He does crazy things in a lot of indies because that's what the fans want to see in garbage feds like that.</p><p> </p><p> I don't think Callihan is very good, I didn't even buy into his hype a couple years ago, but I just don't understand the logic of giving a guy a zero in safety because he participated a stupid spot, or even multiple stupid spots. Steve Blackman and Kurt Angle shouldn't have zeroes because they did completely irresponsible and dangerous spots against Shane McMahon. Multiple CZW wrestlers have <em>actually</em> pushed an <em>actual</em> running <strong>weed whacker</strong> into an <em>actual</em> man's <em>actual</em> body during a deathmatch, but I don't think any of those guys deserve a zero in Safety. That's what Crazy/Stunt Bump notes and Match Danger/Injury Risk stats are for.</p>

This is the first time he's seriously injured anyone, so no. Kurt Angle accidentally smacked Sting in face with a baseball bat, doesn't mean he should have a 0 safety stat.

That's a bothersome because if they're in one of the mods open feds then they <em>should</em> have at least some flavor to their stats, I don't think they should all be good, just noticeably different.</p><p> </p><p> The idea that the stats are typically more low end is fine to me because I actually have to push guys and get them pop, instead of throwing some indy darlings like David Starr and Lio Rush into a match and getting a 60-70+ despite no one knowing who the hell they are.</p>

Well he needs the stats to be a successful figurehead. So 80+ Star Quality, 80+ Charisma, 90+ Babyface Performance, and the highest popularity in the promotion. I mean, I could pretty easily offer better stats for most of the puro rosters and better company sizes, but it would result the Japanese scene being insanely unbalanced compared to the mostly placeholder stats for indy and low-level workers everywhere else.

You ever gonna bump up Kento Miyahara's Star Quality? He has more than doubled AJPW's attendance since he was made the ace a couple years ago.

True of any company, really, but definitely true of Burning Hammer. Penalties like motivation (unavoidable), time decline (varies) and lack of selling (common in BH, I've found). Penalties can't be avoided entirely, but the Dirt Sheet being turned on really helps with seeing what is impacting the match. Tag matches in the main event are not only similar to how puro companies run, but can help mitigate some of those penalties. You probably aren't going to get an A grade out of a time-limit draw main event tag or six-man.... but B grades should be achievable. <p> </p><p> Depending on which talent are on time decline, you may have to limit their usage and protect them to some degree. Or accept the grade impact.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Typically what I do in puro/workrate feds is just slot the old guys in to the lower card matches against the young lions and foreigners to teach them how to work. If you're going to lose all the time then you might as well lose to some legends.</p>

As long as there are two opposing people in the storyline, it'll keep going if someone leaves. When you get them back just add them back in. Their storyline success will be reset, but that's it. So just add someone else in there before the guy leaves then switch them out before he comes back. For example: have a Mean Gene type guy added who'll interview the company talent while the traded worker is gone to keep advancing the storyline. I think you can only do that by putting the worker in matches with good sellers, although I might be wrong.
