PSW WEEKLY

<img alt="images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTCc9f4PnAR_77H1F8TR0Wi-0YPZpjh8uNk_n0zgnHNamfRk-4Y_g" data-src="https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTCc9f4PnAR_77H1F8TR0Wi-0YPZpjh8uNk_n0zgnHNamfRk-4Y_g" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Weekly starts with Chris Benoit, Lance Storm and Rob Van Dam in the ring. A small “ECW” chant goes up from the crowd. Each argues that he was the best wrestler in ECW. Lance says he is the most complete wrestler. Benoit argues he has achieved the most. Van Dam says he was ECW. Bret Hart joins them in the ring. He says there is one way to settle this. At Anniversary Show VIII there will be a three way dance… Benoit versus Storm versus Van Dam… Extreme Rules. The crowd go nuts as the three stare each other down. 67

Bret Hart did a masterful job improvising with the crowd and looked excellent.

Chris Benoit is improving at acting.

Brian Johnson v T. J. Perkins

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, T.J. Perkins defeated Brian Johnson in 6:07 by pinfall. 49

A video plays showcasing AJ Styles having a cameo role in the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster “The Phenomenal One”. 57

Spanish Announce Team (National Tag Team champions) & Amazing Red v The four masked wrestlers

The cousins versus the men in black. From head to toe they are covered in black, including gloves and black masks. Nobody knows who the group of four are and this is the first time they have competed inside a PSW ring.

They looked pretty good, it was obvious they have experience in the ring. Even though they had the numbers advantage, the family ties between the National Tag Team champions and their cousin saw them prevail in 9:08 when Amazing Red defeated one of the masked wrestlers by pinfall with a Red Eye. Based on this match, it is hard to see the champions losing their titles at Anniversary Show VIII when they defend against two of the masked group. 49

Jose Maximo was really off his game.

Joel Maximo is improving in performance skills.

A pre recorded video then airs. The four masked group speak in a foreign language. Subtitles appear underneath, warning PSW that the day will arrive on Sunday, week 2 in May and things will never be the same again. 12

CM Punk & Colt Cabana v The Wolves

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, CM Punk & Colt Cabana defeated The Wolves in 13:10 when Colt Cabana defeated Davey Richards by pinfall with a Colt 45. 64

Davey Richards is improving in rumble skills.

John Cena speaks from backstage. He warns Adam Copeland that he disrespected him at Jeopardy and when Cena feels disrespect, he gets revenge. 77

GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE FIRST DIVISION

Adam Copeland (3-1-0) v Paul London (0-0-4)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Adam Copeland defeated Paul London in 11:25 by pinfall with a Leaping DDT. 74 – match of the night

A table and two chairs are set up in the ring. Director of Operations Bret Hart calls down Eiji Ezaki and the National champion Chris Jericho to the ring. We're having ourselves a contract signing for Anniversary Show VIII. Jericho congratulates Ezaki on winning Lethal but although he's earned himself a National Championship match, he has cursed himself as all six previous Lethal winners have failed to win the title. Ezaki replies by saying he will break the curse and win the title. Ezaki then stays in the ring for the main event...71

Bret Hart performed well.

Eiji Ezaki was very underwhelming.

GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION

Eiji Ezaki (4-0-0) v Matt Sydal (2-1-1, TV champion)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Eiji Ezaki defeated Matt Sydal in 19:29 by pinfall with a Phoenix Splash. 70

Eiji Ezaki has won his last ten matches.

Matt Sydal's win streak ends at nine.
