Unusally we start this week's PSW Weekly backstage in a corridor. The Director of Operations Bret Hart is carrying coffee on his way to his office when he comes across one Super Dragon. Bret doesn't know if this is the Super Dragon or if there are any other Super Dragons nearby so he errs on the side of caution. Bret looks at him and walks by. This Super Dragon lets him walk by without incident. 63

Christian York & Joey Matthews v The Wolves

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, The Wolves defeated Christian York & Joey Matthews in 6:31 when Davey Richards defeated Christian York by pinfall with a Double Double Foot Stomp. 50

AJ Styles is backstage. He says he is relieved this Grappler's League season is over as he has found it very tough, though he also states he is happy to have qualified for the Crowning Glory Series. 58

PSW NATIONAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Slaughter's Soldiers (champions) v Spanish Announce Team

Super Dragons are barred from ringside.

Slaughter's Soldiers didn't come out dressed in Super Dragon attire, they were dressed all in black with the plain black masks.

The challengers took the fight to the champions and the champions were in big trouble early in the match. The Maximos were in full control until three more men dressed in black with plain black masks came to the ring. In scenes eerily familiar to what went on at Anniversary Show VIII, two of the masked men interfered in the match while the third distracted referee Bruce Gray. This interference brought about the conclusion in 6:29 when Iven Michaud defeated Jose Maximo by pinfall with a Scorpion Slice. Bret Hart barred the Super Dragons from ringside, but he didn't bar other masked men from showing up and the masked group have again outsmarted The Hitman. Slaughter's Soldiers make defence number 1 of their PSW National Tag Team Championship titles. 54

Iven Lessard is improving in technical skills.

Slaughter's Soldiers have won their last five matches.

PSW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

Linda Miles (champion) v Melissa

A very good women's match and Miles makes an impressive first title defence against a strong opponent. She triumphed in 9:44 by pinfall. Linda Miles makes defence number 1 of her PSW Women's Championship title. 60

Chris Jericho speaks backstage. He says he is taking his belt back and doesn't care if he has to go through Adam Copeland, Eiji Ezaki, five men, ten men or the entire roster. He's winning that title tonight. 86

Chris Jericho struggled going off script.

GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE THIRD DIVISION

Jay Lethal (2-0-4) v Jeff Jarrett (6-0-0)

Jarrett was the hot favourite for this match and it went to form as he finished the Grappler's League season with a perfect record. Sadly the two didn't click and the match became a little awkward even though some of the action was great. Jarrett's victory came in 10:20 by submission with a Figure-Four Leglock. 70

Desperate Measures v Londrick

A very good tag team match between two established teams and indeed former champions. It was the team of Aaron Stevens and Yoshihiro Tajiri who had their arms raised in 14:26 when Aaron Stevens defeated Brian Kendrick by pinfall. 74

Aaron Stevens is improving in technical skills.

Adam Copeland speaks from backstage. He says he is an opportunist and no matter how many opponents or obstacles are in his way, he will overcome them. 69

http://i887.photobucket.com/albums/ac78/Nobby_McDonald/Generic04_zpsownldjao.jpg

PSW YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP

Kevin Steen (champion) v Drew McIntyre

A good match in which McIntyre was a tough test for the long time champion. Steen once again retained his title as he approaches one year as Youth champion. His latest success came in 12:44 by pinfall with a F-Cinq. Kevin Steen makes defence number 21 of his PSW Youth Championship title. 68

Kevin Steen has won his last eight matches.

GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION

CM Punk (3-1-1) v Matt Sydal (2-1-2, TV champion)

A bit of a rivalry had built up between the two in recent weeks as CM Punk took the unusual step of challenging Matt Sydal to a Grappler's League match. Perhaps he could see into the future as on this night he got the better of the TV champion in 16:49 by submission with an Arm Triangle Choke. 85 – match of the night

John Cena v Randy Orton

There was hatred here. An unprovoked attack on PSW Weekly by Orton triggered a response from Cena and the two fought with anger and intensity though a lack of psychology so the match drifted in places. The hard hitting affair concluded with Cena defeating Orton in 17:51 by pinfall with a Spin-out powerbomb. 78

PSW NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

TOP OF THE WORLD MATCH

Adam Copeland (champion) v Chris Jericho v Eiji Ezaki v Lance Storm v Rob Van Dam v Chris Benoit

To become eligible to win the match, first a competitor has to score a pinfall or submission over an opponent. That allows the competitor to be able to take the championship belt and use the ladder to hang it above the ring. The wrestler who has been pinned or submitted then spends two minutes in the penalty box positioned at ringside.

First to gain eligibility was Lance Storm when he rolled up Adam Copeland in only twenty three seconds after he dodged a Copeland Spear.

Copeland was again on the receiving end five minutes later when Rob Van Dam nailed a Five Star Frog Splash.

At the twelve minute mark Chris Jericho made Eiji Ezaki submit to the Walls of Jericho and Chris Benoit trapped Lance Storm in the Crossface Crippler.

Eiji Ezaki was last to gain eligibility four minutes later when he pinned Benoit.

What about the champion Adam Copeland? His match ended prematurely. Without become eligible in the match, he took a nasty fall off the ladder when he was trying to stop Chris Jericho from hanging up the belt. Chris Benoit arrived to tip the ladder over. Jericho's fall was planned as he fell into the ropes and down to the floor. Copeland however missed the ropes and ended up catching a glancing blow on the barricade. He was stretchered out of the arena.

The end came with Eiji Ezaki and Rob Van Dam battling on top of the ladder over the PSW National Championship belt. In one swift movement, Van Dam kicked Ezaki off the ladder and gained full control of the title belt. He looked up, hung up the title belt and celebrated in 32:52. Rob Van Dam wins the PSW National Championship title. 81

Adam Copeland is improving in technical skills.
