Fans Choice 2010

Bret Hart is standing in the ring to open Fans Choice 2010. He welcomes everyone in the RBC Center and watching on pay per view at home to one of his favourite shows of the year, the one where the PSW fans decide on the matches and he says they have made some great choices this year. 72

Bret Hart improvised well.

CROWNING GLORY WOMEN'S SERIES QUARTER FINAL

Beth Phoenix v Rebecca Knox

We start with the opening Quarter Final in the Crowning Glory Women's Series and on a show that features the most women yet seen on a PSW pay per view. The match had some decent action though the crowd weren't that much into it. It was the larger and stronger Phoenix who advances to the Semi Final though Knox sure did put up a fight, with Phoenix winning in 9:17 by submission. 44

Amazing Red v Petey Williams v Roderick Strong

A very interesting three way match as two of the three competitors are members of Triple X and managed by James Mitchell, who was at ringside.

As expected, Red and Strong worked together for a while. Until Red tried to get the pin, which got until Strong's skin and the two came to blows. This prompted James Mitchell to come into the ring and while this stopped them fighting, it also prompted referee Wes Adams to eject him from ringside for entering the ring. So Red and Strong ended up fighting again when Red broke up a Strong pinfall attempt later on.

In the end it was a Triple X member who won the match anyway with it concluding in 7:27 when Roderick Strong defeated Petey Williams by pinfall with a CX 02. 51

Amazing Red is improving in technical skills.

Petey Williams is improving in flying skills.

Chris Jericho is backstage with Chris Hero. He says two former Continental champions are teaming together to face former Continental Tag Team champions and he knows it will be Chris and Chris who will win. 84

CROWNING GLORY TAG TEAM SERIES QUARTER FINAL

Havana Pitbulls v Spanish Announce Team

Another first Quarter Final match, this time among the tag teams. This was an even contest throughout. Spanish Announce Team have had the titles before but this time they were just edged out by Havana Pitbulls, who challenged for the belts last month at Championship Fight Night. They advanced in 11:29 when Rocky Romero defeated Jose Maximo by pinfall. 57

Jose Maximo and Ricky Reyes are improving in rumble skills.

LITTLE MIX MATCH CHALLENGE

Winners receive a TV Title and Women's Championship match

Rob Van Dam & Gail Kim v Lance Storm & Nattie Neidhart v Kevin Steen & Annie Social v Jeff Jarrett & Awesome Kong

Something a little different. A four way mixed tag team match featuring some fairly odd couples. And with a nice little prize for the winners.

Rob Van Dam looked really good in the match, while Kevin Steen and Annie Social's teamwork was all over the place, they looked dreadful as a team. It came as no surprise when they took the fall in the match in 10:26 when Nattie Neidhart locked on the Sharpshooter and forced Annie Social to tap. Lance Storm and Nattie Neidhart will be getting a TV Title and Women's Championship match in the near future. 56

Gail Kim is improving in rumble skills.

Kevin Steen is improving in flying skills.

In the backstage interview area is Randy Orton. He says tonight he is going to beat Jimmy Yang up and win the Continental Championship for the second time. 49

PSW WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

Nora Greenwald (champion) v Melissa

Familiar foes and this was one of the better, if not the best match between them. It was as keenly fought as ever and once again Nora came out on top in 13:02 by pinfall with a Molly Go Round. Nora Greenwald makes defence number 4 of her PSW Women's Championship title. Melissa now definitely won't be in the title picture at Crowning Glory having lost in the First Round of the Crowning Glory Women's Series. Nora meanwhile looks like she is one step away from the biggest women's match on the PSW calendar. 65

Nora Greenwald has won her last nine matches.

PSW CONTINENTAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

To Kijar, With Love (champions) v Air Paris & AJ Styles

A very fast paced match between the champions and an exciting team who were regular partners once up on a time but haven't teamed for a long time.

It was the superior teamwork that proved advantagous for the champions. Paris and Styles had near falls but just came up short in 13:33 when T.J. Perkins defeated Air Paris by submission. To Kijar, With Love make defence number 6 of their PSW Continental Tag Team Championship titles. 65

Air Paris is improving in performance skills.

T. J. Perkins is improving in rumble skills.

Jimmy Yang speaks from backstage. He is focused solely on defeating Randy Orton tonight and keeping hold of the Continental Championship. This promo was very well received. 77

http://i.imgur.com/Szxss6b.jpg v http://i.imgur.com/ILiAcXw.jpg

Cade Thesz v John Cena

Thesz has been impressive since returning to PSW with his new attitude and aggression bringing results in the ring, winning his first three matches back. Cena meanwhile has been on a downturn since losing the Continental Championship to Jimmy Yang.

Despite this, a Cade Thesz win can be considered an upset given Cena's stock is worth more than Thesz's and the look on Cena's face after the match suggested he thought the same. Thesz was worthy of victory though which came in 17:10 by pinfall. 77

Chicago's Finest v Chris Hero & Chris Jericho

An intriguing match between former Continental Tag Team champions and two former Continental champions.

The better teamwork of Chicago's Finest showed through the match, as did the excellence of Chris Jericho. Unusually it was individual brilliance that won in a tag team contest as Jericho showed why he is one of the best in the world in 16:07 when Chris Jericho defeated Colt Cabana by submission with a Lion Tamer. 74

PSW CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Jimmy Yang (champion) v Randy Orton

A very good match, but it would have been better had there been more flow to it.

It was close. Orton is cunning in the ring and he got a number of near falls as he threatened to take the title. Yang hung on, kicked out every time and managed to hold on to the title in 21:19 by pinfall with a Yang Time. Jimmy Yang makes defence number 2 of his PSW Continental Championship title. 78 – match of the night

Jimmy Yang has won his first nine matches.

Randy Orton's winning streak ends at five.

Loved the show. Glad the Havana Pitbulls advanced and I'm excited to see how this Yang reign goes. :)

Wanted to add, the way that mich worded it, I thought he was just clarifying that Annie was teaming with Kevin. If he says something to that effect, I'd give him the full points. :p And I don't like the guy at all, so you know I'm just being honest.

Adam Sandler is in the ring. For once he is smiling, saying that ratings are finally on the way up with a record audience watching last week's show and tonight there is a great main event between AJ Styles and Chris Jericho and Sandler finishes by saying he wants them to beat the crap out of each other. 85

Mike Quackenbush v Super Dragon

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Mike Quackenbush defeated Super Dragon in 8:31 by pinfall with a Quackendriver. 58

Super Dragon has lost his last 6 matches and has now lost 50 singles matches in PSW.

Cade Thesz comes to the ring. He says he's not in the Crowning Glory Series so can't headline Crowning Glory by challenging for the Continental Championship and that's OK… because he's taking matches into his own hands. He says he has won all his matches since returning to PSW including beating two former champions in Rob Van Dam and John Cena. He says he is free at One Step Away so it is his time to have a shot at the Continental Championship so he can win it and headline Crowning Glory. He calls out Jimmy Yang, who duly comes to the ring and accepts Thesz's challenge, telling him he is a champion of all champions and he won't be losing any of his many belts any time soon. 74

Jimmy Yang is showing more charisma.

Bret Hart speaks from his office. He says he is delighted that PSW is back on the upturn and doing very well and despite Adam Sandler's comments at the start of the show, he still hates his guts and wishes he could kick his ass all over the Florence Civic Center but he'd rather keep his freedom. 80

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Triple X 2 defeated Jeff Jarrett and Lance Storm in 11:09 when Christopher Daniels defeated Jeff Jarrett by pinfall with a Last Rites. Lance didn't look pleased with Jarrett at losing. 54

John Cena is in the locker room looking despondent. He remarks he has lost the Continental Championship recently and lost last night at Fans Choice to Cade Thesz and questions himself as to how much lower it is possible to go. 55

Chris Jericho comes out to the ring ready for tonight's main event. He says he has the a hell of a lot of respect for AJ Styles but tonight it is all about competition, all about the Crowning Glory Series and all about challenging for the Continental Championship at Crowning Glory… and tonight he will win, again. 70

Thanks. I have 85 active wrestlers so it's not an easy task. I do give them all at least one match a month though across the nine shows (not including Eddie Kingston who is currently injured)

What's wrong with meeeeeeeeee:(

Where does one start with this question?
