I'm changing things a little for the predictions. There will now be a monthly series similar to the Crowning Glory Series where PSW Weekly shows and the main monthly show count, with each correct prediction scoring 1 point. There will be a main prize that will be announced at some point before the main show and a secondary prize of choosing a profile.</p><p>

PSW Showcase will have their own predictions with one prize of a profile to the winner.</p>

<strong>PSW WEEKLY</strong></p><p>

Monday, week 3, September 2009</p><p>

Broadcast on America One on Tuesday late evening</p><p>

Announcers: Potter & Dusty Rhodes</p><p>

Varsity Gymnasium, Boone, North Carolina (8,000 capacity)</p><p>

<img alt="images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQf0KVYcrn2VmaFnIoP6L5bVFUSc3Xb4rVTj8xv5vWU0hYmb_mK5w" data-src="https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQf0KVYcrn2VmaFnIoP6L5bVFUSc3Xb4rVTj8xv5vWU0hYmb_mK5w" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart starts the first show after Crowning Glory IX from the ring. He says that Crowning Glory IX was one of the best nights in PSW history as not only was the show great but a great champion was crowned, other worthy champions retained their titles and there are new National Tag Team champions. He continues by saying both Rob Van Dam and Dragon's Army will get their respective rematches before Code of Honour and he finishes by saying there will be number one contenders matches to determine the challengers for the National Championship, National Tag Team Championship, Women's Championship and Youth Championship for Code of Honour. <strong>71</strong></p><p>

Bret Hart improvised well.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Joe Hennig v Marty Scurll</strong></p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Joe Hennig defeated Marty Scurll in 5:57 by pinfall with a Hennig Plex. <strong>46</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Chris Jericho comes to the ring, where there are banners, balloons and as he enters the ring confetti falls from the ceiling. Chris Jericho celebrates winning the National Championship for the second time. He says not only is he the best PSW National champion in history, he is also The Show Stealer. <strong>88</strong></p><p>

Chris Jericho has changed to a Show Stealer gimmick, rated 64.</p><p>

Chris Jericho struggled going off script.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Chris Hero v Stu Sanders</strong></p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Chris Hero defeated Stu Sanders in 7:45 by pinfall with a Heros Welcome. <strong>54</strong></p><p>

Stu Sanders was off his game.</p><p>

Stu Sanders is improving in technical skills.</p><p> </p><p>

Jeff Jarrett speaks from backstage. It seems his fall from the top of the cage this past Sunday night has knocked him silly as he doesn't make much sense. He speaks in clear sentences but they don't seem to follow each other. One thing of note he did say was that in his mind, Lance Storm “tried to kill me”. <strong>51</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>PSW TV TITLE</strong></p><p><strong>

Super Dragon (champion) v Caprice Coleman</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Super Dragon defeated Caprice Coleman in 8:57 by pinfall. Super Dragon makes defence number 7 of his PSW TV Title. <strong>63</strong></p><p>

Super Dragon has won his last eight matches.</p><p>

Caprice Coleman is improving in technical skills.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart is in his office. The Director of Operations announces that the fourth season of the Grappler's League starts at the beginning of November. He says not much has changed in the format. He reminds people that there are now ten wrestlers in the Premier Division instead of eight, he announces that the First Division will expand for next season from eight wrestlers to ten and there are tweaks to the qualification places for the Crowning Glory Series. He says full details of the changes and the divisional line ups will be on psw.com after the show. <strong>73</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS MATCH</strong></p><p><strong>

CM Punk & Colt Cabana v The Wolves</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, CM Punk & Colt Cabana defeated The Wolves in 12:57 when Colt Cabana defeated Eddie Edwards by pinfall with a Colt 45. <strong>72 – match of the night</strong></p><p>

Davey Richards is improving in rumble skills.</p><p> </p><p>

Rob Van Dam speaks from the locker room. He acknowledges that the better man won at Crowning Glory IX and he congratulates Chris Jericho on winning the National Championship. RVD then says he is looking forward to the rematch where he will take the title back. <strong>78</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>NUMBER ONE CONTENDER MATCH</strong></p><p><strong>

Christopher Daniels v Lance Storm</strong></p><p>

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Lance Storm defeated Christopher Daniels in 20:07 by submission with a Canadian Maple Leaf. <strong>61</strong></p><p>

The two didn't click at all and it showed in their performances.</p><p> </p><p>

We start the show with Rob Van Dam preparing for tonight's main event by doing flexibility stretches in the locker room. He says tonight is the night he is taking back the PSW National Championship when he defeats Chris Jericho. 72

Chris Harris v Rocky Romero

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Rocky Romero defeated Chris Harris in 7:25 by pinfall. 40

Chris Jericho comes to the ring. The new PSW National champion says he respects Rob Van Dam and they had a great match at Crowning Glory IX. He says tonight will be no different… they will put on another great match… and Chris Jericho will walk out the PSW National champion. 85

Chris Jericho worked the crowd well, using the freedom to improvise to his advantage.

The Colons v Matt Sydal & T. J. Perkins

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Matt Sydal & T.J. Perkins defeated The Colons in 9:24 when T.J. Perkins defeated Carly Colon by pinfall. 60

The Colons don't work well as a team, their timing is all over the place.

Matt Sydal stood out with a good performance.

Roderick Strong storms into the office of the Director of Operations. Bret Hart is a little startled. Strong demands to know why he isn't in the Grappler's League despite being in PSW for a long time when tag team wrestlers like Brian Kendrick, Eddie Colon and Eddie Edwards and a new guy like Ricky Steamboat Jr are in. Bret remains calm and tells Strong they are higher than he is in the rankings and he needs to be up the top of the rankings to qualify for any vacant spots each season. 40

Bret Hart enjoyed the freedom of going off script and was the real star of this segment.

Roderick Strong looked dreadful.

Super Dragon has won his last nine matches.

John Cena is backstage, saying how much he is looking forward to the new Grappler's League season and that he is after promotion to the First Division and a place in next year's Crowning Glory Series. 83

AJ Styles v Yoshihiro Tajiri

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, AJ Styles defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri in 13:01 by pinfall with a Styles Clash. 71

The two have great chemistry and it showed in their performances.

CM Punk and Colt Cabana now speak from backstage. The number one contenders for the PSW National Tag Team Championship say they will win the titles at Code of Honour though they want to face the right opponents… the current champions New Wave. He says they had their backs at Crowning Glory IX and they will again next week in their title rematch if they need to. 48
