<strong>PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING</strong></p><p>

Monday, week 3, June 2010</p><p>

Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night</p><p>

Announcers: Potter & Dusty Rhodes</p><p>

John H. Lewis Gymnasium, Atlanta, Georgia (7,000 capacity)</p><p>

<img alt="images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTXfL3pkmW79_lBPZcvR5fmBvB-nG-cUZrOiT3_OKJiDddBiOIQIA" data-src="https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTXfL3pkmW79_lBPZcvR5fmBvB-nG-cUZrOiT3_OKJiDddBiOIQIA" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

We start with a familiar scene in the ring – one of Director of Operations Bret Hart and Spike TV Representative Adam Sandler. Adam Sandler is not happy. He tells Bret Hart that he needs to improve the show or he's out. Sandler says he is used to high ratings and he wants PSW Superstars of Wrestling to have high ratings. If not, it's time to find someone else. Bret doesn't look happy. <strong>74</strong></p><p>

Adam Sandler was good.</p><p>

Bret Hart was underwhelming.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Londrick v The Jackson 2</strong></p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Londrick defeated The Jackson Two in 7:05 when Paul London defeated Matt Jackson by pinfall with a London Calling. <strong>62</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Rob Van Dam is in the locker room. The normally cool RVD says he is relieved with his 'bounce back win' over CM Punk last night at Top of the World and now he can get back on top of PSW again. <strong>52</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>PSW TV TITLE</strong></p><p><strong>

Iven Michaud (champion) v Jay Lethal</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Iven Michaud defeated Jay Lethal in 8:38 by pinfall with a Scorpion Slice. Iven Michaud makes defence number 13 of his PSW TV Title. <strong>62</strong></p><p>

Iven Michaud is improving in rumble skills.</p><p> </p><p>

An odd mix of Jimmy Yang, Havana Pitbulls, Nate Nickerson and Taylor Matheny are in the ring. The Director of Operations walks down the aisle and Bret Hart tells the group he has assembled them here to tell them collective news. Bret names them as challengers for the Continental Championship, National Tag Team Championship, Youth Championship and Women's Championship at Championship Fight Night X. He wishes them all luck as the five of them look very happy. <strong>33</strong></p><p>

Bret Hart struggled going off script.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION</strong></p><p><strong>

Aaron Stevens (0-1-7) v Matt Sydal (3-0-5, National Tag Team champion)</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Matt Sydal defeated Aaron Stevens in 10:30 by submission. <strong>62</strong></p><p>

The two didn't click and it led to an awkward bout.</p><p>

Aaron Stevens has lost his last eight matches.</p><p>

Aaron Stevens needs something to freshen his character up.</p><p> </p><p>

In the backstage interview area, former Continental champion Chris Hero is delighted he beat Jeff Jarrett last night at Top of the World. Hero says he is now shifting his focus to winning the Crowning Glory Series and earning another shot at the Continental Championship. <strong>56</strong></p><p> </p><p>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Randy Orton defeated Yoshihiro Tajiri in 11:18 by pinfall with an O-Zone. <strong>51</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Chris Jericho is backstage. He conceited says he is the best in PSW and the best ever in PSW. He says he will win the Crowning Glory Series and win the Continental Championship again at Crowning Glory X. <strong>79</strong></p><p>

Chris Jericho improvised well.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>GRAPPLER'S LEAGUE SECOND DIVISION PLAYOFF</strong></p><p><strong>

Jeff Jarrett v John Cena (Continental champion)</strong></p><p>

A playoff match where the winner wins the Second Division and the loser finishes second. Given that both have won promoted and qualified for Crowning Glory Series, is there a point? Adam Sandler thinks so when he made this match last week.</p><p>

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, John Cena defeated Jeff Jarrett in 19:45 by pinfall with a Spin-out powerbomb. <strong>82 – match of the night</strong></p><p>

John Cena has won his last six matches.</p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart is in the ring to start the show. The Director of Operations announces that live on psw.com after the show tonight which features the final Grappler's League matches, the draws will be made for the Crowning Glory Series, the Crowning Glory Tag Team Series and the Crowning Glory Women's Series. This prompts Adam Sandler to come out and interrupt Bret. Sandler isn't happy. Sandler says he told Bret he wants ratings and having the draw for the Crowning Glory Series done on the internet won't draw in ratings. Sandler says he is overruling Bret and says the Crowning Glory Series draw will happen on Superstars of Wrestling next week and the other two draws can happen on the internet as “they aren't important”. A clearly unhappy Bret gets in Sandler's face. Sandler stays calm however, telling Bret he has made one mistake too many and that Bret can go home tonight as he is now suspended for two weeks. Bret backs Adam Sandler into a corner but then half a dozen security come to the ring and escort Bret out of the building. <strong>72</strong></p><p>

Adam Sandler was good.</p><p>

Bret Hart was very underwhelming.</p><p> </p><p>

Adam Sandler is seen backstage leaving an TV trailer emblazoned with the Spike TV logo. Chris Jericho is waiting for him. He grabs Sandler by the jacket, lifts him up and thrusts him back first into the side of the trailer. This hurts Sandler but Jericho doesn't care, he is seething. He tells Sandler that there is something in wrestling called respect and it has to be earned. Bret Hart has earned it by being a legend in the business and that the way Sandler is treating Bret is nothing but disgraceful. He drops Sandler to the floor and finishes by telling Sandler his mistreatment of Bret Hart stops or he will do something about it. </strong><strong><strong>86</strong></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Brian Kendrick (1-0-5) v Keiji Sakoda (4-0-2)</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Keiji Sakoda defeated Brian Kendrick in 11:24 by submission. </strong><strong><strong>59</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Brian Kendrick has lost his last eight matches.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

We have table, chairs, a lectern, and some papers on the table in the ring. Yes, it's a contract signing. Instead of Bret Hart being out there, this time we have Adam Sandler overseeing proceedings. Jimmy Yang comes out first, followed by the Continental champion John Cena. They both sit at the desk, saying they will leave Championship Fight Night X as the champion and sign the contract. Then they stand up and go nose to nose with Cena holding up the championship belt as we go to a trailer for the latest Adam Sandler movie. </strong><strong><strong>71</strong></strong></p><p><strong>

Adam Sandler looked good.</strong></p><p><strong>

Jimmy Yang was very underwhelming.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING

Monday, week 1, July 2010

Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night

Announcers: Potter & Dusty Rhodes

DC Armory, Washington, DC (10,000 capacity)

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRL1yxmBSdyCHsYGasJSqGz8_Fe6KLQ4MIdy0dJ1T2o9InCbKPk

We start in the ring where a beaming Adam Sandler is getting booed by the crowd. He says Bret Hart is not here tonight and Sandler says he is very happy about that.

First of all, he shows the draw for the Crowning Glory Series First Round, which is thus…

Jeff Jarrett v Davey Richards

Chris Hero v Rob Van Dam

AJ Styles v Paul London

Rocky Romero v Kevin Steen

Ricky Steamboat Jr v Keiji Sakoda

Chris Jericho v Christopher Daniels

Eiji Ezaki v Randy Orton

Lance Storm v Drew McIntyre

e continues by saying that tonight's main event pits Chris Jericho against the Continental Tag Team champions To Kijar, With Love and that as of now, it is a no disqualification match… so Chris Jericho can get the beating he deserves. Some of the crowd throw garbage into the ring and the opening segment closes and we go to a trailer for an Adam Sandler movie. 94

CROWNING GLORY TAG TEAM SERIES FIRST ROUND

Desperate Measures v Destrey Lapointe & Julius Turcotte

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Desperate Measures defeated Lapointe & Turcotte in 7:35 when Aaron Stevens defeated Julius Turcotte by pinfall. 58

Aaron Stevens has switched to a The Future gimmick, rated 75.

Destrey Lapointe is improving in rumble skills.

Destrey Lapointe & Julius Turcotte have lost their last five matches.

Backstage and the Championship Fight Night challengers for the Continental Tag Team Championship make the first move, with Havana Pitbulls attacking To Kijar, With Love. This is good news for Chris Jericho ahead of tonight's main event. 30

Alex Wright v Mike Quackenbush

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Mike Quackenbush defeated Alex Wright in 8:33 by pinfall with a Quackendriver. 56

Jimmy Yang comes to the ring. He says he has been a champion and is a champion in many companies and at the end of Championship Fight Night X he is going to win the biggest one of his career so far… the PSW Continental Championship… and there is nothing John Cena can do about it. 72]
