PSW SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING

Monday, week 3, July 2010

Broadcast on Spike TV on Tuesday late night

Announcers: Potter & Dusty Rhodes

Kenney Gym, Urbana, Illinois (5,000 capacity)

We start the show with a stern looking Adam Sandler in the ring with Bret Hart. Sandler is not happy with Bret, saying the Championship Fight Night X pay per view was poor and it is likely that Superstars of Wrestling ratings will drop as a result, and the network won't like that. Bret argues that there was some great action on last night but sometimes the show just doesn't quite go to plan. Sandler says he is sick of excuses. He says suspending Bret hasn't made the show improve, so he says he will have to beat improvement out of him. Bret is all ready to fight Sandler in what appears to be a huge mismatch… until all three members of Triple X rush the ring and Amazing Red, Christopher Daniels and Roderick Strong proceed to lay a beating on Bret Hart and the show goes to the first commerical. 45

Bret Hart has switched to a Fan Favourite gimmick, rated 75.

Amazing Red and Roderick Strong looked lost.

Bret Hart came across well.

Adam Sandler looked excellent.

CROWNING GLORY TAG TEAM SERIES FIRST ROUND

TJ Wilson & Ice v Spanish Announce Team

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Spanish Announce Team defeated TJ Wilson and Ice in 4:49 when Joel Maximo defeated TJ Wilson by submission. 42

Joel Maximo is improving in performance skills.

Backstage and Cade Thesz is launching a vicious assault on Eddie Kingston, blaming him for losing in the Crowning Glory Tag Team Series last night and calling him “useless”. 41

Joe Hennig v Super Dragon

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Joe Hennig defeated Super Dragon in 8:13 by pinfall with a Hennig Plex. 47

Joe Hennig has won his last five matches.

Super Dragon has lost his last five matches.

Jimmy Yang comes out to the ring carring a plethora of championship belts. In his possession are the DG Open the Dream Gate Championship, the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, the ECWA Heavyweight Championship, the UPW Internet Championship, the HCW National Tag Team Championship, the LWA World Championship and his newly won PSW Continental Championship belts. He says all these titles mean something to him as he puts six of them on the canvas in front of him, but the one that means the most is this and he holds up the PSW Continental Championship belt. Yang welcomes all challenges and says he will defend against anyone. 54

Kid Kash seemed off his game tonight.

In the backstage interview area, John Cena is clearly devastated and says at much at losing the Continental Championship last night to Jimmy Yang. He says he did not overlook or underestimate Yang but says he is man enough to admit the better man won… last night and it will be different when he has his rematch. 72

Keiji Sakoda has won his last five matches.

Chris Jericho comes out to the ring. He is angry at Triple X for two more reasons… one is their disgraceful attack on the legend Bret Hart earlier on tonight and two is Roderick Strong trying to cost him his match against Christopher Daniels last night. Jericho laughs when he says he still won and he is still in the Crowning Glory Series and despite all that, he still wants a match against Roderick Strong on Superstars of Wrestling next week. 85

Chris Jericho was superb without a script.
