smartman Posted March 18, 2017 Share Posted March 18, 2017 <p>Yeah, as someone who watched over a year's worth of NJPW with him calling the action before going to WWE, Mauro is very, very good so I'd say a lot of what he's suffering from there is just how awful they handle the announcers. Just the constant talking in his ear, dealing with the horrendous Ortunga, 4 people at times, etc.</p><p> </p><p> Josh was lousy for a long time, but this new "We're going to recreate the much-maligned Cole vs King announcer feud from like 6 years ago" just makes me want to break my tv. Doesn't help that A) It's making Cole look like he was 100x better than he was at that time and B) Borash isn't even on the level of shining Lawler's boots, much less doing color commentary. I don't know if the goal is to make the desk look so bad that we'll take Tenay back with rapturous joy, but please just put him or JR there post-haste.</p> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The way things are going I am aiming for the day after WrestleMania so I can put any Mania weekend changes in place in the data. Spent the last week doing about 1,000 or more new pictures. I have moved away from the chronicles style to something I like a little better inspired by the organic ones but due to restrictions the further down the scale you get in picture quality they are not as uniform as preferable in part. However PCW run a solid amount of shows with a good fan base and are one of the most consistent in terms of running in the UK (not necessarily show quality or booking). If people like Bubblegum can work for Fludder who was a friend of travis how can someone like me who has seen him live numerous times and met him once get on a high horse about it and remove PCW. Then where do you draw the line I have IWA and Ian Rotten in who have done some the scummiest things known, Mike Quackenbush seems to have a bad rep these days with some people and lets not get started on Vince McMahon and WWE and the amount of times they have cashed in on deaths and controversies. He has honestly become one of my favorite WWE wrestlers and I know a lot of other fans share my excitement for him! Really crisp for a big guy, moves well, can springboard (!) and is decently charismatic. He was awesome in his feud with Claudio (Cesaro) and they both showed you do not need to be small to be agile.
