Reviving a dead fed (CVerse).....how much money to start with?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I'm looking to play with one of the old feds that have already closed in the Cornellverse. The period between 2006-07 has always been the one I'm most fond of, so looking for a nostalgia trip....

I haven't quite decided which one to try....how much money would you suggest to start with for the below feds:

DaVE

MPWF

UCR

BSC

INSPIRE (this one actually has an existing amount of money even though it's not active....the rest are set at 0.)

I know it's completely up to the player, so my question is more of....taking into consideration their size and product, how much starting money would be appropriate for the above? So that the game won't be TOO easy.....or too hard to survive?

<p>The existing companes' starting funds appear to be determined by their size and product (barring special cases like EX2010's Yakusa money)</p><p> </p><p>

So based on the database Small companies would get 50-100k (depending on how family/sponsor friendly their product is), Regional would be 100-250k, and Cult companies somewhere between 500k and a million. Companies with sponsor unfriendly products like BSC or DAVE would be at the lower end of that scale.</p>

<p>Hey Greylocke,</p><p> </p><p>

If you want to play them in their prime, check out The C-Verse 2005 mod <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534907" rel="external nofollow">http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=534907</a> and the C-Verse Sept 2006 mod <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=535826." rel="external nofollow">http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=535826.</a></p>

Didn't see this in the Mod Index topic (well, not the 2006 one) so didn't realize it's there. Will try it out. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Not to hijack the thread, but wanted to ask here instead of a new thread. I went and made all the dead feds have a random opening date and set as not closed (with the exception of Hinote Dojo and whatever feds 21CW bought out). There's no way to force them to open once the game starts, it's just up to the AI when it deems fit?
