You need to do this not for the amount of downloads but for the personal fun of doing it. The truth is TEW16 is a somewhat obscure video game (it's not on Steam or in shops) so it's never going to have a huge pick-up for any mod especially not one in a early state of development. Something like Fleisch's Real World mod has been around a longer time and has thousands of workers and companies and the built in attraction of real people. You are starting from the ground floor and working up. You actually should feel very proud of yourself that you have got a fairly decent working beta out. Many planned mods die well before that. </p><p> </p><p> So what you've done seems really good and most importantly so far seems to be working fine. You've achieved something. You need to remember that and feel a sense of pride in actually getting it done. Enjoy it for what you know you've done and don't worry too much about anyone else at this point.</p></div></blockquote><p> But it makes me feel uncomfortable when I see how other mods have the same stage of development and experience, and the people react to it while I'm doing nothing else, and hardly get any reaction, and if so, then from the same two people, no offense.</p><p> </p><p> It's not really the amount of downloads, it's the whole thing, the many small things that make it a big heap. </p><p> I just do not mind why people offer me help, and then do not comply. The first thing to realise is the graphic, and is that graphic crap, the game is called crap, even before you've been given a real chance to play it. I see that everywhere i've been. Threads arent't really visited if no graphics are represented. people want to see some stuff, and if the stuff isn't enough, they don't like it. It's always that the peole want to have excellent work, otherwise they don't give you support. </p><p> </p><p> I never want to have competition with willrock or other fantasy mods, i don't think i can give you the quality of the Thunderverse or the Londonverse. That's not what i've been expected, and that's not what people should been expect from me. </p><p> you can see that in my character submission thread. If it had not been up because my brother (Mister Zed) posted something, it wouldn't have gotten up, and the people just posted because it was up there.</p><p> Now you have willrocks submission thread, wich had more submissions 2 days than mine in 2 months. What did i wrong about that?</p><p> </p><p> I went without expectation into this mod, I was planing to use the renders from other people, with their permission, but it did not feel like my work, more like work from others that i've working on. which is why I rejected this idea. I have tried a whole lot of things to deliver decent quality, have tried countless programs, which were either not well-programmed (Fuze), or simply not enough content to work with(Make Human). Daz Studio would be ideal, however, it is complicated, and the free content is too limited, so that i could work with it reasonably. And I don't see to pay 15€ for a hairstyle in Daz, If I can get for 15€ dog food for a week.</p><p> </p><p> it is a fun hobby and i love to be creative, but not for ignorance, and for the quality expections for people Who expect too much of mine.</p><p> It is just a big bubble of frustration and the uncertainty as to how it goes on with that way.</p><p> </p><p> The Titanverse will not be dead, but i will keep it to myself and decide how it goes on for the next couple of weeks.</p>

It seems to me that you've got yourself into a negative headspace where you can see the negative aspects rather than seeing the enormous positive of actually reaching that Beta milestone. At that point when you are feeling negative about things everything always seems much worse than it really is. Run some of your feds - do the angles that you had in the back of your head when you created those feds. Enjoy what you've created yourself because there is a lot there to enjoy. What Id say to you is -Don't see it as work see it as fun again.</p><p> </p><p> As for the art - it's fine. It's got that old school vibe and that's a legit artistic choice. Like you said you decide not to use other peoples work and go with something you created yourself and there's some really nice stuff in there underpinned by solid ideas. Having a different style of art isnt a bad thing. </p><p> </p><p> Lets face it any mod with Ducky and the others at Kids Fun and the Diamond Doll Strippers is both absurd and brilliant in the same way Wrestling itself is absurd and brilliant and the thought of a robot fighting league being added just adds another layer of craziness. You unleashed Buster the Bear on the world and for that alone you deserve high praise. It all feels like the inside of Matt Hardys head and that's no bad thing.</p>

<p>Sometimes accidents are lucky - for me with my love of diversity those girls who are male opened up angles that work for DD. I've tweaked that product in the editor slightly (integrated & 50% matches) just so I can use the bear and the tg characters. It all stays true to the sleazy nature of the DD fed.</p><p> </p><p>

Oh I really want to play KFW - the polar opposite of DD.</p>

I can't find any facial expressions and doens't know how to start with</p><p> </p><p>

And rendering tooks ages, hadn't even 2% after 1 hour, so i've cut it via gimp. I'm thankful for every tip.</p><p> </p><p>

If you render times are taking forever you might have it set on the iray engine without an NVIDIA graphics card. If you don't have an NVIDIA card then iray renders using your cpu not your gpu and render times can take forever. It has pre-made settings and lighting set ups. I use the settings TEW_Render_001 and the lighting setting J TEW Default 3A.</p><p> </p><p> Hopefully that will give you some much faster renders.</p>
