The Idea is WWE goes Bankrupt causing WWE to go OUT OF BUSINESS So Vince McMahon decides to Retire so that leaves Triple H with his own custom brand called SOLAR CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING And he has Taken AJ STYLES, SETH ROLLINS, and SHINSUKE NAKAMURA with him (Along with others like Wyatt's (not including Randy), Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode)

 

But That Also Leaves Shane and Stephanie!

 

Stephanie Takes over Ring Of Honor and leaves it exactly the same but with the signing of Dean Ambrose! (but is renamed to Jon Moxley

 

 

So that only leaves Shane who also makes his own brand called EXTREME WRESTLING REVOLUTION and Shane takes Kevin Owens Sami Zayn Randy Orton and also signs ADAM COLE BAY BAY THE YOUNG BUCKS KENNY OMEGA WILL OSPREAY RICOCHET and Chris Hero all under PPA Contracts!

 

The Expected Release Date is January 2nd! Could come out sooner or later

 

I am SUPER EXCITED for this mod, I've been working on it for about 2 months... just mainly coming up with the story. and deciding who is going where. I hope you guys are interested and are as excited for this as I am

This sounds very interesting, sort of like a big fight the 3 had over who gets control following vince's death, only different.

I would like to see some reasoning as for why each wrestler went to which company, it sounds like you rolled a dice and went with it

Also for people like Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, Ricochet etc.. It's kind of.. you know.. unfair that Shane gets them.. I mean HHH is the one that would get them since you know.. because he knows good talent even if they are not popular.. like the talent in NXT. Some of the wrestlers are not over there but they are there because they are good and HHH knows they are good. He gets a product similar to NXT, or more of a performance based product.

 

Shane would get a product and wrestlers that are flashy. Aerial and Flashiness product.. because you know HIAC, SummerSlam 2000, Backlash 2001.. etc..

 

Stephanie.. she's the new Dixie.. gets all the wrestlers that were popular back then.. nostalgic acts.. with no knowledge of the wrestling world whatsoever, but she knows her popular wrestlers, though, most of them might be in time decline.. She gets a popularity based product...

 

Not saying it be that way.. just some ideas.

 

However, I think that's a unique idea for a mod. Definitely will play.

oh yeah of course... but trust me I have plans for SCW (HHH Brand) and remember, Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and the indy people are under Pay Per Appearance contracts so anything can happen

HighDefOverDose makes a good point. A lot of ex-WWE talent and even some who have not competed in the WWE have taken issue with the "Independent Contractor" label. Frankly, WWE's level of control and some of their policies could -depending on the lawyer and judge- push the line over into employee territory.

 

In particular, I'm looking at the non-compete clauses as well as their control over the wrestlers' non-wrestling interests such as movies and magazine covers. That's probably part of the reason that they settled with CM Punk. According to rumor (was never able to verify for obvious reasons), after Punk left and Del Rio left for the first time, Stephanie ordered a new non-compete clause be added to future contracts. This new non-compete clause stated that if a wrestler walked out or got fired for bad conduct, they would be unable to work for a year and forfeit all of their royalties.

 

So, this would leave two scenarios. The first entails, someone leaves on bad terms and WWE try to go after them. The wrestler lawyers up and challenges the contract, then a judge rules the contract illegal and that WWE wrestlers are employees. WWE appeals, but loses, then the IRS swoops in and hammers them for back taxes. Factor in all of the added expenses (unemployment, health coverage), the stock sell off that tends to happen in the aftermath of scandals such as these, and WWE goes down the tubes. It could be sudden, or it could be slow and painful, with wrestlers jumping ship to companies who actually legally treat them as independent contractors, such as New Japan and Ring of Honor.

 

The second scenario is that the IRS hits them with what it basically Operation Lullaby from the Cornellverse. WWE takes the bait and the IRS raids their offices. Cue the fallout from the first scenario.
