Who scooped him up and drove him into the mat with that Running Powerslam that gave the trio a big victory ahead of In Your House in just two weeks time. ring, and it's not long before the WWF Champion joins him as Kane tosses Steiner under the bottom rope......and as The Nature Boy lets out a loud "Woooooooo", he and Pillman both take hold of Hart and Steiner respectively, before locking in stereo Figure Four Leg Lock's......and if the Hitman and Big Poppa Pump didn't ALREADY have injured knees, they would have after this......and both the WWF and Tag Team Titles look to be in severe jeopardy........at least until the Wolves howl....... .....Anderson and Kane head up the aisleway, looking to interject before the Wolfpac can get to the aisleway......Kane doesn't look like he gives a damn who's in the ring, he's got his sights set on Kevin Nash, but Pillman takes a handful of the Big Red Monsters hair, halting his advance..... ......Hall helps Scott Steiner to his feet, while Nash walks over to the downed Hart, offering his hand in assistance......the Hitman isn't interested however, giving Nash the "up yours" gesture, before rolling to the outside and hopping over to the timekeepers table to retrieve his half of the Tag Team Titles..... .....Steiner and Pillman hurl insults and threats of violence at each other, Another great show this week, as the ratings continue to rise.....speaking of things rising, Raven's pay packet just took a big jump....the leader of the Flock may have talked himself into the main event, but he's been getting midcard money since his arrival, so I wasn't surprised by the request.....I was happy to give it to him too.....although I only gave him roughly 75% of what he wanted, but that's still a $20,000 a month increase.....perhaps knowing that his mouth had a part in his current position as well, Raven informed me that he wants to tone down his brawling and move to a more entertainment based approach.....that's fine by me....the brawling may have worked for him down in ECW, but he doesn't need to go as extreme with it here, as his great match with Rey Mysterio a few months ago proved.... .....young Billy Kidman has obviously sat up and took notice of how Chris Jericho's new and improved body size has propelled him up the card, because the youngster has really been hitting the gym as of late, bulking up to a far more muscular look than before.....it's starting to look like putting the Light Heavyweight Title on this young man was a good idea, because not only is his popularity rising, but now he's packed on a few pounds his star quality is rising too..... ......AJPW held a celebration banquet this past week, as they welcomed two new members into their Hall of Fame.....Jumbo Tsuruta and Yoshiaki Yatsu....good for them..... ......in what must be the biggest bit of news however this week, the rumours are true, because Hulk Hogans WCW contract is officially coming to an end....obviously Bischoff has offered him an extension. As for establishing workers, I’m certainly trying.....that National Battle is a bitch though despite the fact that I’m destroying WCW everywhere they still win the battle every month.....I’m getting closer though, I’ve gone from.... Rating: A </div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div> <img style="max-width:10%; "src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/eX846RT.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/eX846RT.jpg"></a><img alt="YMPG1tH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YMPG1tH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="hzDZTVJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hzDZTVJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img style="max-width:10%; "src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/NJr4NXD.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/NJr4NXD.jpg"></a> Last week Rich Steiner faced and defeated one half of the Hardy Boys, Matt Hardy.....this week its Jeff’s turn to face the Steiner Sell-Out......much like last week, only DiBiase and Matt Hardy are allowed to remain at ringside.....but in Steiner’s defence, he didn’t need any help to pick up the victory last week.... ......two contrasting styles here, as Jeff is definitely more of a high flyer than his brother is, while Rich is all about the ground and pound......and ground and pound he does after Hardy hits nothing but mat on a top rope dropkick attempt, before upping the ante and tossing Jeff around the ring with a number of suplex variations.....before Jeff finally gets back in this, converting an Irish Whip into the corner into what Jim Ross informs us is called a Whisper in the Wind.....essentially a corkscrew senton into the standing Rich..... ......from there it’s much more of a back and forth contest....Hardy looks set to pick up the victory on a number of occasions, however much like earlier in the match, it’s the high risk moves that cost him......as he crashes hard into the mat on a Swanton Bomb attempt after Rich was able to get out of the way......he drags the winded Hardy to his feet, before driving him back into the mat again with a Death Valley Driver that Rich apparently calls the Steiner Driver......and three seconds later DiBiase’s man has his second win in as many weeks. Snow and Skippy (although don’t let Chris Candido hear you call them that) have had a pretty good run of result since their initial partnership at Wrestlemania, while the Outlaws have been on a tear for months now, so much so that the Road Dogg has gone from unknown to a solid midcarder, while Billy Gunn is actually knocking on the door of the main event, and they both have Mr. Perfect and Barry Windham to thank for that..... .....the match itself told the story of a distracted Al Snow struggling to focus on the match without Head in his corner, and the Outlaws use that to their advantage to control the match. Candido does manage to get back into the action, and even manages to have both the Bad Ass and The Road Dogg on the ropes for a period...... <img style="max-width:10%; "src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/2fXhEmS.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/2fXhEmS.jpg"><img</a> style="max-width:10%; "src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/bfRp3Dn.jpg" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/bfRp3Dn.jpg"></a> .....at least that is until Edge and Christian appear on the entrance way....and they have poor Head with them......they stand on the ramp, playing catch with Al Snow’s “manager”.....and actually drop her at one point.....which horrifies Snow, who is completely distracted to the fact that the Outlaws have overwhelmed Candido, as the two men finish him off with a kick to the gut from the Road Dogg followed by the Famouser from Gunn for the one, two, three. Rude.....Road Dogg is a great talker, so is Rude.....and Gunn is over like rover right now.....(seriously too.....B+ and a couple of A’s throughout the USA)....which means the crowd eat this segment up...... ......Road Dogg tells Rude that he ”......shoulda stuck to talking behind the desk, and left the fighting to the men that can still go.....you might have been Ravishing once Tom Selleck, but now you’re just a washed up old used-to-be that wasn’t that good to begin with........and believe me, if your achey-breaky back wasn’t already twisted up like a noodle, it’s gonna be by the time we’re done with you.....on Sunday night, it ain’t old timers day.....the only thing Ravishing about you is your arthritis, Mr. Perfect ain’t got nothing on Mr. Ass here, and as for Barry Windham, Rick Rude however says that Bret Hart is not happy about anything recently, he says that he SHOULD be enjoying the fact that he and his brother are the WWF Tag Team Champions, instead he seems to enjoy compiling a list of people who have screwed him over more.......Michaels, Nash, Hall, Waltman.....Austin, Pillman.....Flair, Anderson.....in fact, Scott Steiner may be the only one in this match that the Hitman doesn’t have a problem with...... ......which is probably why we see more unity from Steiner and Hart than we do Hart and the Wolfpac.....In fact it takes a while before the Hitman will even (reluctantly) accept a tag from either Hall or Waltman.....and the heels take advantage of that dissension, finally managing to isolate the former 123 Kid, working over the smallest man in the match.....even though Waltman is a hairs width away from being a bonafide main eventer (in fact if you speak to him, he’ll tell you he should be in the main event) he still plays a great underdog, and his size helps him play the Babyface in peril role perfectly, especially when you consider that he still has that plaster cast on his arm...... .......finally Waltman is able to catch a breather, as he sidesteps an oncoming Arn Anderson, using his opponents own force to attempt to propel him through the ropes and to the floor......unfortunately Anderson didn’t make it to the floor......because the Hitman was standing on the apron, right where Waltman tossed his opponent, and the Enforcer crashed into Hart, sending him flying off the apron where he crashes sternum first into the crowd barrier......Waltman manages to make the tag out to Steiner, who hits the ring like a madman taking on all four men alone.......he could PROBABLY have used some help, but his team mates are currently preoccupied, because the Hitman has dragged the weary Waltman to the floor, and is currently accusing him of deliberately trying to injure him further. Hall is trying to defuse the situation, but Bret tells them both that he knew they couldn’t be trusted, they’re just trying to make sure Bret goes into In Your House even more hurt than he already is...... ”......you’re still trying to screw me......well screw you......” ......and with that Hart simply turns and walks out of the match, leaving his team mates one man down......not that it matters......because in the ensuing commotion Pillman, Kane, Flair and Anderson have overwhelmed Scott Steiner and as Kane spins Big Poppa Pump upside down and delivers a hard Tombstone Piledriver, it’s Pillman that makes the cover, while Flair and Anderson ensure that the Wolfpac don’t break up the cover.....and three seconds later.....six days before their big title match, The Corporate Cannon has just pinned the World Wrestling Federation Champion. He pauses just long enough to retreat into a nearby corner.....where he begins stomping on the mat, tuning up the band for some Sweet Chin Music....... <img alt="Cy5KT5G.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Cy5KT5G.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> .....as the Wolves howl, and Big Sexy Kevin Nash makes his way out into the entrance way......the crowd erupts, but Shawn Michaels just smirks, grabbing a microphone to let Nash know that he can’t do squat......this is the US of A, and that restraining order is still in full effect.......Nash has a microphone of his own, telling Shawn to make the most of it........because in six days time, his entire world is going to come crumbling down..... ”........because first I’m gonna take care of that Big Red Pile of Crap behind you......and then Shawn......you’re a dead man........” ......Shawn simply smirks, telling Nash that six days is six days..... ”......but tonight is tonight......and tonight, you can’t do jack.......” ......Michaels tosses the mic to the mat and goes back to tuning up the band......Nash is helpless to stop it, and you would think he’d be furious.......but he simply steps to one side and looks behind him at the entrance way........ ...:::!!!GLASS SHATTERS!!!!::::.... <img alt="bX456l5.gif"" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bX456l5.gif" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> <img alt="LjBLTcA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LjBLTcA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ......as Stone Cold Steve Austin walks into the ramp......and the crowd absolutely explodes......Brian Pillman’s eyes almost pop out of his head as he sees his former partner....plaster cast now removed....stamping his foot a number of time on the ramp to show that his leg is fine......before marching purposely towards the ring....... ......just as Jim Ross tells us that we are out of time.......frantically screaming at us to buy the Pay Per View, because Stone Cold Steve Austin is back.....and anything could happen.....before the show finally comes to a close and we fade to black. Another great show, and another record setting rating as we rack up a massive rating of 30.32, while Nitro still tools down in the mid 17’s.......and to be fair they put in a god awful show this week......do you remember me mentioning a few months back that former WCW Wrestler Jeep Swenson, the former “Ultimate Solution” from the Alliance to end Hulkamania had started in the latest Batman movie as Bane? I joked that WCW would snap him right back up now he had a bit of notoriety.......well guess who the latest main eventer in World Championship Wrestling is, as Jeep Swenson made his Nitro (re)debut, going to a no contest with Sting to close the show.......Sting.......THE franchise player of WCW......arguably their second biggest name behind Hogan......and he can’t even get a win over a scrub like Swenson......and as for Eddie Guerrero, how did the capitalise on his huge win over Lex Luger? They teamed him up with Abdullah the Butcher and Kevin Sullivan, to defeat the team of the Renegade and the Pit Bulls....like I say, this show sucked...... ......I don’t know what’s going on with our Light Heavyweight division.....first it was Jericho bulking up.....then Kidman decided to add some muscle to his frame......now Jerry Lynn of all people has been hitting the gym......to be fair he certainly looks more of a star for it, but realistically he’s still quite bland, muscle or no muscle..... .......both of the Bushwhackers and Tony Atlas have announced they are hanging their boots up this week.
