The dynamic duo discuss last nights shenanigans, with Ross declaring his disappointment in the behaviours of the Hart Brothers.....Rude on the other hand disagrees, stating that the only real thing standing between Bret Hart and his claim to be the Best there is, was and will be, was the lack of a killer instinct.....and it looks like Bret and Owen have found their bite.......Jim Ross says they may have found their bite, but their bite may come back to bite THEM if the British Bulldog has anything to say on the matter...... <img alt="2NzYkti.gif" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2NzYkti.gif" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> .....and speaking of people with something to say on the matter, apparently the WWF Champion Big Poppa Pump has got something to say about the Hart's interference in his Title defence last night, because as the Sirens indicate, he's here.....and he's here now..... arena erupts) Stone Cold Steve Austin marches down the aisle with purpose......he climbs into that 20x20 ring and completely blanks Steiner as he walks to all four corners in succession, raising his arms (and his middle fingers) for the cheering crowd......before picking up a microphone and finally acknowledging the WWF Champion......the two rivals stare each other down for a moment, before Austin breaks the deadlock by telling Scotty that...... ”......instead of coming out here threatening to kick Bret Hart’s ass, you SHOULD be offering to kiss it......because if Bret and his measly little brother hadn’t come out there last night night, you sure as hell wouldn’t still be standing there with that WWF Title around your waist......in fact, the ONLY reason that you still have that Belt, is because the referee stopped the damn match.....Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Brian Pillman.....Scott Steiner......it doesn’t matter.....not a one of you jackasses could have stopped me from whipping your ass and taking that title......so the bottom line is this, tonight, you can take your little ass home....put your feet up....eat a steak.....eat a protein bar.....you do whatever it is that you do when you’re not at work......then I want you to wash all the damn baby oil off the WWF Title.....shine that belt up good for me....because tonight is all about the Harts, but next week, your ass the ramp......which is where they (probably smartly) remain.....Bret has a microphone and informs the trio in the ring, that they are everything wrong with Wrestling today......rude, crude, ill mannered.....foul mouthed in the case of Austin and Steiner......back stabbers in the case of Davey Boy......Bret says that professional wrestling has changed for the worse.....it’s filled with scumbags and lowlifes.....and in the case of these fans, hypocrites......fans that cheer for people like Steve Austin......people like Kevin Nash......people that cheer when family turns its back on family.....people that cheer when so called brothers interfere in Title matches, costing the most deserving Champions in the WWF their gold......and yet they boo when Bret and Owen do the same..... ”......you people make me sick......this company makes me sick......this whole business makes me sick......the whole industry needs a hero.....needs someone to aspire to be......and me and Owen, we’re Austin.....AND the British Bulldog in the main event......HOWEVER, should the Harts be able to find ANYONE that likes them around here, they will be permitted to enter that partner into the match, Cornette brings to the table.....a game plan.....which is why when Kokina mounts the second rope, looking for that Samoan Splash, Corny’s mouth distracts the big man just long enough for Ahmed to sneak up behind, duck under Kokina’s huge thighs.....and deliver a modified Powerbomb/Pearl River Plunge hybrid to the Son of Samoa, who had no chance of kicking out once Ahmed made the cover. How many main event’s have you had? One? That’s a travesty......a man of your abilities constantly overlooked for the Steve Austin’s and the Scott Steiner’s of the World......and tonight......you’ve got the little flippy guy and some nobody that’s been in the company for five minutes competing for a shot at the Light Heavyweight Championship......that’s your Championship.....the Championship that you made famous......really, they should have retired the title the day you lost it.....after all, it’s not like you lost it fairly to begin with.......who was it that cost you that title Chris?.......who screwed YOU out of the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship?.........” “........Waltman........Hall.........Nash........” “........that’s right......the Wolfpac......they’ve been screwing you over from day one, just like they’ve been doing to us.......but no one cared did they.........you know why they don’t care Chris? Rating: A* </div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div> <img alt="bPirxUr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bPirxUr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="mK4s6vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mK4s6vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> WWF Light Heavyweight #1 Contenders Match Speaking of the Light Heavyweight Division, it’s time to find out who our next number one contender will be, as the “little flippy guy” Rey Mysterio faces off against “the guy who’s only been in the company five minutes” Dean Malenko......not the catchiest of nicknames I’ve got to admit, which is probably why you won’t see any shirts at the merchandise stands bearing those sound bites......not that you should be anywhere near the merchandise stands during this one, because if you had been you would have missed some excellent in ring action..... .....granted the crowd could have been hotter, but we know face vs. face matches are never as warmly appreciated as your more standard good guy vs. bad guy match.....but even that didn’t stop the fans from appreciating a breathtaking display from these two, as Mysterio tries to use his superior speed to stagger Malenko, while The Man of 1000 Holds looks to try an utilise all of them to ground his masked opponent......unfortunately, it was all for naught......... <img alt="xsr2jxl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/xsr2jxl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="o8GrTsa.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/o8GrTsa.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="qQmwebo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qQmwebo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ......because following their recent conversation, the match is rudely interrupted by the arrival of Chris Jericho and The Hart Foundation......who storm the ring and begin laying a mighty bear down on Malenko and Mysterio.....and much like in last nights World Title match.....has little choice but to throw this one out. Who’s the King of the Light Heavyweights?....” before finally we go to commercial, as the Uber-Heel Harts and Jericho celebrate their new found friendship. Rating: A </div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div> <img alt="W4oTIs4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/W4oTIs4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="KS3QHSo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/KS3QHSo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> This was the Raw in Ring debut for Ken Shamrock.....and in all honestly, Credible was nothing more than the sacrificial lamb....not that he can complain about it when you consider the fact that 18 months ago he was running around with a jockstrap on his head......that and he had a hell of a year long run with the KLiQ, and even main evented a few episodes of Raw.....in Tag Team matches granted, but still.....if you told me when I took this job that I’d be putting Aldo Montoya in the main event I’d have called you a damn dirty liar.....but anyway, I got sidetracked there......long story short, Justin Credible had a great 12 months......but a very bad 8 minutes here..... ......Shamrock is obviously still very green when it comes to the world of faux-wrestling, but his legitimate background makes him a legitimate threat, and these two actually had a decent little match, culminating in Shamrock displaying how dangerous his Ankle Lock Submission is, as he had Credible screaming Uncle to pick up his first victory here in the WWF. Well The Enforcer is there to do exactly that, enforce the wishes of the Titans.....and bringing home the WCW World and Tag Titles are tight at the top of the Titans wishes today. Bagwell spent the majority of last year teaming with former Headshrinker Samu of all people, even capturing the WCW Tag Team Titles along the way......(is there anyone he has teamed with that he HASN'T captured the Tag Titles with at this point? Bagwell is somewhat of a Tag Team specialist as Schiavone points out)..... .....but now he’s flying solo, and looking to capture his first singles Championship.....unfortunately he’s a bit of a vain lad our Buff, and spends a bit too long flexing for Kimberly on the outside, giving Page ample time to catch him and drop him with the Diamond Cutter to move one step closer to regaining his gold. Winner: Jean Paul Levesque Rating: B </div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div> <img alt="6dU4Twj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6dU4Twj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="jpmlRnD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jpmlRnD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> WCW Championship Quarter-Final Match It’s Main Event time, and it’s the man who stands alone, Sting, facing off against the man with an army behind him in the Macho Man Randy Savage.....the commentators talk about Sting’s refusal to be a part of any groups, teams or partnerships anymore, stating that the betrayal by Hulk Hogan was the straw that broke the camels back, after spending a good portion of his career pulling knives out of his back, to the point that it was becoming more of a case of who HASN’T stabbed Sting in the back rather than who HAS..... ......truthfully, this match was somewhat of a let down.....but then with the exception of the Awesome/Bigelow match, pretty much ALL the matches tonight were a bit of a let down.....granted the finish probably didn’t help, but still, I was expecting better from two established stars like this........as for how it finished, well the match ended much the way it began, with these two men fighting tooth and nail......Sting because a) Savage also stabbed him in the back, b) Savage is also a member of the Titans of Wrestling.....and c) if Sting really wants to get his hands on Hollywood Hogan, then he has to go through the Macho Man to do it........as for Savage, he’s fighting tooth and nail because a) he’s Randy Savage......and b) see a ......in all seriousness The Macho Man is under strict instructions to eliminate the Stinger from the World Title equation, because Hogan clearly wants no part of the Stinger......which is why, when the action spills to the floor, and both men find themselves spent on the concrete, the Nasty Boys come crawling out from under the ring......and as the official reaches a count of six, Sting lays out Savage with a new move that he has dubbed the Scorpion Death Drop......as the count reaches 9 however and Sting tries to re-enter the ring, Knobbs and Saggs each grab an ankle each of the Stinger, halting him in his tracks......and just like that, Sting is out......Savage is out.....and Hollywood Hogan has a bye, all the way to the finals of the WCW Title tournament. Hogan seems content to watch from the sidelines, at least until it becomes clear that Sting poses no further threat.....at which point he finally enters the ring, ordering the Nasty’s to pin him to the mat face down......while Hogan unhooks his weightlifting belt from around his waist, looking to deliver a whipping to the Stinger..... <img alt="wvfDGVw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wvfDGVw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ......which is when the Warrior comes absolutely flying out of the back and charging down the aisle, taking out both Nasty Boys (who run to try and intercept him) on his way with a double running clothesline......apparently he never got the memo that the Stinger isn’t looking for any help around here, as he flys into the ring at 1000mph......Hogan, Savage and Levesque has the good sense to bail quickly to the outside.....The Enforcer however decides to stand his ground, but he probably should have followed his compadres to the outside, because The Warrior hits him with a barrage of clothesline’s, followed up with a flying shoulderblock to knock the man down, then crushing him with a running splash..... ......Traylor rolls to the floor out of harms way as The Warrior helps The Stinger to his feet.....Sting shrugs the Warrior off however, telling him that he didn’t ask for, nor does he want his help.....before abruptly climbing out of the ring and walking angrily to the back, leaving the Warrior to shake the ropes for the crowd, in between throwing threats at Hogan and the Titans as the show comes to a close. Rating: A Final Rating: B+ </div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div> Some thoughts on the show and WCW as a whole.......those match grades, wow they’re bad.....Sting/Savage and HHH/Giant only pulling out B’s is shocking, even with the screwy finishes, I’ve had A rated no-contests all day long with the WWF......Awesome/Bigelow being the match of the night was a huge surprise, even with the great chemistry note, it was dinged for booking decisions (obviously since Awesome is a midcarder and Bigelow is a main eventer) and dinged for short match time (around 10 minutes).....makes you wonder what a 20 minutes match with Bigelow going over would have graded at..... ......every single match was hit with the low backstage moral negative.....because the backstage, double wow......backstage is currently at 33% compared to the WWF’s 100%.......Hogan and Savage aren’t helping, because they have split the roster in half, with one side having a negative relationship with Hogan and the other side having a negative relationship with Savage......it’s going to take a lot of work to manage this sh!t storm. </div></blockquote> </div>

Chris Jericho - I like the addition of Jericho to the Hart Foundation. I think this would make a great time for Neidhart to return as well, as they could use a new enforcer.

The Rock - Rocky is going to do for the Euro title what D'Lo did for the belt in 98 as the "secondary" champion member of the Nation. The difference being that eventually he will move up to the IC title once you've run your course with Faarooq as leader, though (short a bad roll for time decline) that should probably be six months to a year away.

The duo climb into the ring and tell the sound people to cut their music, because they would like to invite someone to the ring......a true blue Canadian hero.......a main event calibre star.......without a doubt he is the best light heavyweight there is.....the best light heavyweight there was.....and the best light heavyweight there ever will be....... "......but more importantly that's that, he is someone that myself and Owen are proud to call a friend......and the ONLY man in the World Wrestling Federation that can be trusted.......ladies and gentlemen........Chris Jericho......" <img alt="xsr2jxl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/xsr2jxl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> .....that does indeed bring Mr. Jericho out.....who is treated to the same sounds of disapproval from the crowd as the Hart Foundation were....although by his mannerism I don't think he hears the boo's, because he's walking down the aisle like a man adored by millions.....he climbs into the ring, where Bret offers a hearty handshake......Chris shakes his head however, instead deciding to embrace the Hitman in a huge bear hug that actually cracks a smile on Bret's usually sourpuss face.....Owen receives the same treatment, before we finally get down to business......Bret says that they've invited Jericho out here for one reason..... ".....and that reason is pretty simple.....we were so impressed with your performance in last weeks main event.......that we went ahead and arranged ANOTHER match for you.....ANOTHER main event.....and you're really going to like this one......" ......Bret says that for once, Vince McMahon did the right thing, and sanctioned a number one contenders match for the World Wrestling Federation Championship.....The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith.......vs. The King of Harts Owen Hart........ "......BUT.....since you don't get the recognition you deserve around here......and since it was YOU that got the win for us last week, Owen has graciously decided to give his spot in that match to you......" .....Rick Rude commends the Harts for that selfless act, declaring that it is much deserved....while Jim Ross states that if you ask him, this is more a case of Owen not wanting to be in there with an angry Bulldog rather than an act of kindness on the part of the Hart Foundation........however as Rude points out, nobody did ask him........and Jericho is over the moon at the notion of a second main event spot in two weeks.....and that's before the realisation dawns on him that..... ".....so not only do I get to main event tonight.....but after I beat your ungrateful brother in-law.....because lets face it, I will.....that means I get to go on and main event In Your House.......against Big Ploppa Dump......for the WWF Title?......" .....Bret smiles and says yes, that's exactly what's going to happen......he tells Chris that he's already proved to the world that he's the best light heavyweight there is, was, and ever will be.....in fact, as far as Bret is concerned they should just retire the whole division since the Ayatollah of RocknRolla is no longer a part of it.....but now it's time for the world to see, that Chris Jericho is so much more than that......... <img alt="bPirxUr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bPirxUr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="mK4s6vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mK4s6vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ......speaking of the light heavyweight division, that brings out two men who just last week were robbed at a shot of competing against Scorpio for that very Championship, Dean Malenko and Rey Mysterio......the pair get a good reception as they make their way down the aisle, where they climb into the ring to confront the Canadian Contingent.....Malenko tells Jericho that for someone who thinks he's so above the light heavyweight division, he sure seems to be spending a lot of time worrying about what's happening.....he says that last week, two people that actually CARE about the light heavyweight division, himself and Rey Mysterio, were robbed of an opportunity to compete for the title...... ".......and not just by you Jericho......but by the Hart Foundation as well.......so since you and your brother want to go around sticking your nose in our business, how about you face me and Rey Mysterio.......tonight....." ......blistering microphone work from Mr. Malenko there......I'm being sarcastic by the way, it was pretty weak....he really struggled in there surrounded by people far more comfortable without a script than he is.....but he got his point across none the less......he and Rey want the Hart Foundation in a match...... ......all three Canadians crack up laughing at this, and when they finally regain their composure they are more than happy to accept.....in fact Owen goes so far as to call a referee out from the back, saying that they may as well do it right now.....because it's not going to take the former Tag Champs long to put the little guys away...... Rating: A* </div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div> <img alt="bPirxUr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bPirxUr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="mK4s6vs.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mK4s6vs.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="o8GrTsa.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/o8GrTsa.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="qQmwebo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qQmwebo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ....and that match is indeed next.....but if Bret and Owen thought that Malenko and Mysterio were going to be a pushover, they were seriously mistaken, and seriously underestimating the light heavyweight division as a whole.....sure some of these guys might be smaller than your average superstar, but that doesn't make them any less capable in the ring.....and Mysterio and Malenko are two of the best in ring workers, regardless of their size......and it showed in this match.....which (as always when the Hitman is involved) was fantastic, in fact, it was easily the match of the night....which was all the more impressive when you consider Malenko and Mysterio are much further down the totem pole than the Harts......these two teams actually match up pretty well......you have two mat technicians in Bret and Dean, along with two high flyers in Owen and Rey.....sure Owen might not be quite the daredevil that Mysterio is, but he's certainly no slouch either...... .....The Harts got far more than they bargained for here, because Mysterio and Malenko dominated the opening portion of this match....in fact it was only the interference of Jericho who had decided to stick around at ringside that turned the tables for the Hart Foundation, and then they considerably slowed the pace of the match down as they split the ring in half and isolated the quintessential underdog Rey Mysterio.....as a lot of people have learned over the past year however, putting Rey down is one thing, keeping him down is an entirely different matter.....because regardless of the size of his body, he has the heart of a lion and doesn't know the meaning of the word quit....finally managing to tag out to his partner/rival Malenko, who clears house as he hits the ring..... ......Bret and Owen are in serious danger of finding themselves on the receiving end of an embarrassing upset loss here, because Malenko is on fire, even managing to lock Bret into the Texas Cloverleaf......and he might have even picked up the victory, had it not been for the fact that the official was otherwise occupied with Owen and Mysterio.....which is why he also missed Jericho entering the fray, kicking Malenko hard in the back of the head, which gave Bret the opportunity to reverse the Cloverleaf into the Sharpshooter, right in the middle of the ring......and despite putting on a valiant display, the man of a thousand holds finally had no choice but to submit to the Hitman's signature hold....and thanks to Chris Jericho, the Hart Foundation are victorious here tonight. He punctuates each blow with a verbal tirade, screaming at Rikishi that he shouldn't have come looking for a fight, because now he's going to get his ass taken out, before delivering a second (slightly better looking) Pearl River Plunge..... ......Ahmed paces around the ring, but even after that he doesn't look satisfied, as he tells Cornette to toss him that tennis racquet that has caused so much damage recently, before climbing onto the second turnbuckle and flying off, driving the weapon straight into the throats of Rikishi, who begins thrashing around the ring immediately gasping for air that won't come.....Ahmed cracks a smile at the sight of his destroyed opponent, before mounting the second turnbuckle once more, looking to fly again...... ...:::!!!GLASS SHATTERS!!!:::... <img alt="LjBLTcA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LjBLTcA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> ......but before he can do anymore damage, the glass shatters and the crowd erupts.....as Stone Cold Steve Austin comes marching down the aisle......Jim Ross says that he doesn't think this is Austin wanting to save Rikishi, because The Rattlesnake couldn't give a damn about anyone.....this is clearly a case of Steve Austin wanting to deliver a little bit of payback for Ahmed laying his hands on him last week....... ......Ahmed to his credit doesn't look like he has a problem with that, tossing the tennis racquet to one side and diving through the ropes to meet Austin in the aisle, as these two collide like charging bulls in a flurry of fists.... .....they don't show any sign of slowing down either, as they battle up and down the aisle, and all around ringside, before finally making their way inside the ring where they continue to take part in a pretty even brawl that sees neither man backing down and neither man gaining the advantage.....until finally security runs down to break these two up before they seriously hurt each other.....it takes some time (and a lot of bodies) but Austin and Ahmed are finally pried apart, as Jim Ross sends us to commercial with the two men screaming threats at each other in the ring. "......but then sometimes you make a much more popular decision, and I venture that this right here shall prove to be one of those......see, I've tolerated you Faarooq and your constant accusations of prejudice.....of......inequality......but make no mistake, the World Wrestling Federation is an equal opportunity organisation.....which is why Ahmed Johnson, a fine representative of the WWF, shall be competing for the biggest prize in the sport at Summerslam......and I for one would be ecstatic to see Mr. Johnson wrest my World Championship from the hands of Scott Steiner......with that being said.....ALL WWF Championships shall be on the line in two weeks time at In Your House.....and that INCLUDES the Intercontinental, European and Light Heavyweight titles currently held by the Nation of Domination......." ......McMahon states that since their was no clear winner in last weeks Light Heavyweight #1 Contenders match, BOTH Rey Mysterio AND Dean Malenko will face current Champion Scorpio......Faarooq WILL be defending the WWF Intercontinental Championship at In Your House too.....against Mr. Perfect.....should he accept the match......Perfect looks somewhat confused as to why he WOULDN'T accept the match.....a question that McMahon soon clarifies, because he tells Faarooq that since he thinks "the man" is so against him.....the Mac MAN is going to give him something to complain about.....because while the winner of that Intercontinental Championship match WILL walk out with the Title.......the loser......will be FIRED...... ......Faarooq says never mind what Perfect accepts, HE doesn't accept those terms.....unfortunately McMahon informs him, HE doesn't have a choice in the matter.....because regardless of WHO his opponent is, the stipulation remains the same......Perfect looks hesitant to accept, but soon changes his mind when Rick Rude pipes up from behind him that the Mr. Perfect he knew wouldn't have been too much of a coward to accept, and just like that a big match is set with huge implications......it’ll be all or nothing at In Your House when Mr. Perfect faces Faarooq..... .......McMahon says it won’t just be the Champions of the Nation in action at In Your House, the ENTIRE Nation will be in action.....because Kama and Nelson will be going up against Harlem Heat as well.....The Rock then asks who HE will be facing at In Your House, but Vince informs him that he hasn’t yet decided that......bust rest assured, that European Championship WILL be on the line...... ”......wait a minute, wait a minute, wait one damn minute.....so you’re telling me that The Rock.....the hottest young superstar ever to grace the face of this sport......scrap that.....the greatest superstar ever to grace the face of gods green earth......The Rock......will be entertaining the MILLIONS of the Rocks fans at In Your House.....and you don’t even have an opponent yet? Rating: A </div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div> <img alt="0OX9DD3.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0OX9DD3.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> <img alt="GTVuL5X.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GTVuL5X.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />VS. <img alt="lbc4nWL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/lbc4nWL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> With that McMahon orders everybody to the back, leaving only The Rock and Sean Waltman in the ring to duke it out for the newest prize in the WWF, the European Championship......to say the Rock was not prepared for this unscheduled Title defence would be an understatement, and Waltman takes full advantage of that as he fully dominates the opening portion of this match.....and he’s cast free on that arm injured at the hands of Brian Pillman finally, meaning his range of movement is back to its full capacity...... .......obviously the Rock didn’t become European Champion in the first place without being able to weather the storm of an early onslaught, and he does manage to regain control of the match, using his superior strength to slow down his quicker opponent.......to Waltman’s credit, he’s finally ditched that “underdog” label, and is seen as a genuine threat to pretty much anyone he steps on the ring with now......a solid Upper-Midcard talent, who is not quite at the main event level just yet (despite him constantly insisting that he is) but is only really one big win away from breaking through that glass ceiling......and the same can be said for the Rock, a man just a fraction below the main event, but all it would take would be one good feud to push him over the edge into superstardom..... .....as for this match itself, it wasn’t great.....it wasn’t bad.....it was......solid.....it certainly could have been better, but then the lack of an associated storyline didn’t really help.......maybe a few weeks build for the rematch at In Your House will yield a better result.......because there will be a rematch......why? Because the Rock was so unprepared for his opponent that Waltman was able to convert a Rock Bottom attempt into a small package, pinning the Champions shoulders to the mat out of nowhere for the one, the two and the three. Hollywood has a huge smile on his face tonight, as he tells the crowd that last week went down perfectly according to plan........he says that they have got rid of Luger......the big stinky Giant.......the mighty Stinger didn’t get the job done......that just leaves that B-List movie star Rowdy Roddy Piper....... ”.......and you know what dudes, we’re not going to have to wait until Bash at the Beach to bring that WCW Title back to the folds of the Titans of Wrestling man.......we can bring that belt back home TONIGHT brother......” ......even the rest of the Titans look confused by that one, but Hogan soon expands his explanation, saying that tonight, it’s the Hot Rod against the General......against Jean Paul Levesque....... ”.......and since Hollywood has got a bye all the way to the finals, all YOU have to do brother......is the exact same thing that the Macho Man here did last week......and if there’s no-one to face Hollywood in the finals, then that no good Vince Russo will have no choice but to hand the title back to its rightful owner dudes......” ......Tony Schiavone is outraged at this, stating that Hogan is going to try and steal back the WCW Championship after wrestling just ONE match.....the rest of the Titans crack up laughing though, clearly finding Hollywood’s plan to be genius....well.....all accept one......because Mr. Levesque does not look as though he was consulted about this plan before hand......and as the Titans begin a somewhat premature celebration, he brings the proceedings to a halt, taking a microphone to tell Hogan that...... ”......actually......that doesn’t work for me.....” .......talk about a way to kill the mood.....as the celebrations come to an abrupt stop.....Levesque says that the way he sees it, the belt is coming home to the Titans of Wrestling one way or another......because when he beats Piper tonight, at Bash of the Beach it will be Hogan vs. Levesque....Titan vs. Titan......either way, that big gold belt is coming home...... ......obviously Hogan is not best pleased with that......telling Levesque to stop going into business for himself.....this whole thing is about ONE thing, what’s best for the Titans of Wrestling.....and right now, the best thing would be for him to get a double count-out victory tonight......and for that WCW Title to be back around the waist of Hollywood...... ......Savage on the other hand kind of agrees with Levesque, telling Hogan that either way the Titans win......so what if it’s Hogan vs. Levesque at the Bash......unless of course..... ”.......you don’t think you can beat him.....” ......much to the delight of the commentators that brings some serious dissension to the ranks of the Titans, who begin arguing amongst themselves about what’s best.....until finally the DO agree that what’s best is for them to stop arguing.....and (very) reluctantly Jean Paul agrees to do what’s “right” in our main event later tonight. Super-tude?.....I got nothing) .....their opponents are the Samoan Swat Team, Fatu and Samu......no, not the blonde one, this is his brother, Sam Anoa'i Fatu.....the Samoan Savage....The Tonga Kid....he’s had a few names to be fair over the years.....for now however he’s back in WCW, and back teaming with his family, and Samu will be looking to recapture the tag team gold that he held not so long back with Buff Bagwell...... .....they moved one step closer tonight too.....because in the battle of the no-team name vs. the team name, it was the team name that won.....as the Samoans book a place in the semi-finals against the Road Warriors. microphone.....telling Levesque and the Titans that since the gang is all here, let’s get this Semi-Final match going right now....... ......Hogan tries to convince Jean Paul to head to the back, stating that they need to formulate their plan and do this when the Titans are ready, not when that skirt wearing freak dictates......but Levesque isn’t listening, and shrugs Hogan off before marching to the ring.......it looks like it’s main event time people...... Rating: A </div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div> <img alt="BGIDWpy.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BGIDWpy.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> VS. <img alt="UpPaZmO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/UpPaZmO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> WCW Championship Semi-Final Match So here we are, it’s time to find out who will be facing Hollywood Hogan at the Bash of the Beach, for the vacant WCW Championship......and it’s a packed house......with Luger, The Giant and The Warrior opting to stick around on one side of the ring, while the rest of the Titans hang around on the other......emphasising the fact that (as Tony Schiavone emphatically points out) this may be the most important match in WCW history........ ......a win for Piper puts him on a collision course with Hollywood.......a win for Levesque means an all Titan Final.......and a draw......well, as far as Hogan is concerned, a draw means that he gets handed the WCW Title right here tonight...... ......this match, honestly wasn’t great.....it was all about the result.....and the ending......the ending being both men battling it out on the floor, surrounded by their respective allegiances cheering them on, when (after breaking up the ten count numerous times) at a count of four, Levesque is able to catch Piper with a Pedigree, driving his skull into the ringside floor.....Piper is down.....and out.....and is probably going to stay down and out.......so Levesque goes to re-enter the ring, happy to take a count-out victory........ .......Hogan grabs him by the arm however, indicating to Jean Paul to remain outside.....take the double count-out.....before making the universal “belt” motion around his waist, indicating that Hollywood will get the title right now if he does......Levesque isn’t happy about that however, and turns to re-enter the ring.....but again Hogan pulls him back.....except this time Levesque shoves him away, and an argument quickly breaks out between the Titans, who try to diffuse the situation before it escalates...... ........unfortunately that means that they don’t see The Giant lift Piper up dead weight from the floor and roll him back inside the ring........they also don’t hear the referee reach a count of ten.......in fact it’s not until the bell rings that they realise that Jean Paul Levesque has just lost this match......and Hollywood Hogan has to face Rowdy Roddy Piper at the Bash at the Beach. The show opens this evening in daylight, as the WWF Champion Scott Steiner is seen pulling up to the arena. The words "earlier today" in the bottom left hand side of our screen (coupled with the fact that it IS daylight) tells us that this is pre-recorded footage.....pre-recorded footage of a p!ssed off looking Big Poppa Pump rummaging in the back of his vehicle....

".........Mr. Steiner, Mr. Steiner......Steven Goldstein, I was wondering if I could have a few words for WWF.com?......"

....Steiner looks up for a second to see a rather nervous looking young man approaching him, microphone in hand. He cocks his head at the young man for a moment, before a look of recognition washes over his face......

"......GOLDSTEIN?..........THE PERVERT?......"

"...........I'm not a pervert sir, I'm just a repor......."

"........YOU'RE A DAMN PORNOGRAPHER GOLDSTEIN.........DID YOU CALL YOUR MOTHER AND APOLOGISE?........"

"...........well, no.......I mean, I haven't actually done anyth........."

"...........SHUT UP..........I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS GOLDSMITH.......NOW WHERE THE HELL HAVE I PUT IT?..........."

......Scotty turns back to his vehicle and proceeds hunting for whatever it is that's lost in there, throwing out all manner of paraphernalia as he does so......including a rather demure pair of pink lace ladies underwear, which hits Goldstein in the face.......

".........SORRY GOLDSMITH........SOMETIMES MY FREAKS LIKE TO LEAVE ME LITTLE SOUVENIRS, AFTER I'VE ROCKED THEIR WORLD AND THEY'VE BOWED DOWN CALLING ME THE BIG BAD BOOTY DADDY...........YOU CAN KEEP THOSE......PERVERT LIKE YOU PROBABLY HAS MORE USE FOR THEM THAN I DO..........................AH, THERE IT IS......."

.......Goldstein surreptitiously slips the panties in his pocket with a rather sheepish look on his face, while Steiner pulls out the object he was searching for.......his trusty lead pipe.......which also has another pair of ladies underwear wrapped around it.......he pulls them off and tosses them to Goldstein......who again at least has the decency to look embarrassed as he slips them into his pocket.......

".........DAMN THINGS GET EVERYWHERE.......NOW WHADDYA WANT GOLDSMITH?......"

"..........actually it's Goldstein........."

".........AND ACTUALLY, I DON'T GIVE A (bleep) SO ASK YOUR STUPID QUESTION SO I CAN GET IN THIS BUILDING, AND YOU CAN GO OFF AND DO WHATEVER IT IS YOU DO........."

".........well, for starters......what exactly are you planning on doing with that lead pipe?......"

"........I'M GONNA GO AND SHOVE IT UP CHRIS JERICHO'S ASS, WHADDYA THINK I'M GONNA DO WITH IT.......DO I LOOK LIKE A PLUMBER TO YOU?.......TAKE A LOOK AT THIS GOLD BELT......DOES THAT SAY JANITOR?......"

"..........no.......it says World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion......."

"..........DAMN RIGHT IT DOES......AND THEY DON'T GET ANY MORE HEAVYWEIGHT THAN ME......THIS PEAK ALONE WEIGHS MORE THAN CHRIS JERICHO'S ENTIRE BODY.....AND AT IN YOUR HOUSE I'M GONNA CRUSH HIM LIKE THE LITTLE P!SSANT THAT HE IS.....BUT THATS THEN......TONIGHT, I'M JUST GONNA HURT HIM REAL BAD.....HIM AND HIS LITTLE CANADIAN BITCHES THE HART FOUNDATION........YOU SEE JERICHO BEFORE ME GOLDSMITH, YOU TELL HIM THAT PAIN IS COMING, COURTESY OF THE LARGEST ARMS IN THE WORLD........NOW GET OUTTA MY WAY......."

.......with that Steiner shoves the flustered interviewer to one side and marches towards the arena, shouting over his shoulder as he goes.......

"...........AND I SWEAR TO GOD IF I HEAR YOU'VE BEEN WEARING THOSE PANTIES GOLDSMITH, YOU'RE GONNA BE WEARING MY FIST DOWN YOUR THROAT......."

"...........that doesn't even make any sense.........."

"............(bleep) YOU.......YOU DONT MAKE ANY SENSE.......NOW GET OUT OF HERE YA DAMN PERVERT........."

.......Steiner bursts through the doors and into the building, as Goldstein turns rather red faced to the camera's, quickly reassuring his mother at home that he is NOT in fact a pervert.....before slipping his hand into his panty filled pocket and shiftily walking off as the opening credits finally roll.

And when they do finish rolling, the intro music is replaced with the screeching guitar that signals the arrival of the Hart Foundation, Bret and Owen Hart......who part the curtains with their new found friend and ally, Chris Jericho.....the three men make their walk down the aisle, but while the Harts walk with a new found confidence (almost bordering on arrogance many would say) Chris Jericho looks as far removed from his usual cocky self......in fact you'd struggle to find a glimmer of confidence in him right now, as he is constantly checking over his shoulder the whole way down to the ring....clearly the Ayatollah of RocknRolla has been clued in on Scott Steiner's plans for the evening......and he doesn't look pleased about it.......

.....the Canadian Contingent enter the ring, where Bret has a microphone in hand, stating that last week was the most fun he and his brother have had around here for a long time......because they got to beat up, not only their ungrateful Brother in-law the British Bulldog, but what passes for a WWF Champion around here nowadays, Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner......

"........a Champion you people can be really proud of.........a champion, who can't open his mouth without cursing......a Champion who would rather be out chasing tail than chasing success......who's happier lifting weight than he is lifting Titles......a Champion who would rather be a reprobate than a hero......and yet you morons cheer him like he's the best thing going.....buying your damn kids shirts with "Big Poppa Pump" on the back.....you should all be ashamed of yourselves......."

......Bret says not to worry though.....because in just a few short week, the WWF is going to have a Champion it can be proud of.......a TRUE hero......a man who instills pride and patriotism in the heart of all true Canadians......a man who's superior Canadian morals, mean you can ALWAYS rely on him to be a good role model.......a man, who is quite simply, the best Light Heavyweight there is......the best light heavyweight there was......and the best light heavyweight there ever will be.......your hero and mine......Chris Jericho.......

......not that he's looking like much of a hero right now......in fact if anything he looks like someone that would rather be anywhere than here....he takes the microphone from Bret, thanking him for the kind words, but says that they really shouldn't be here tonight.....Bret agrees, saying he doesn't want to be in this cesspit of an American City anymore than Jericho does......he'd rather be back in the great white north.....where the sky shines brighter, the birds sing louder..........and where people still have values.......

".......no that's not it......I mean, obviously I'd rather be back in Canada right now too......but I just mean we shouldn't be HERE tonight......here in this building.....here in this city......hell, this whole state...........because I have people man.......and my people told me, that their people told them.......that some panty sniffing freak show in the back told THEM, that there's a pipe wielding madman SOMEWHERE in the back there by the name of Scott Steiner, looking to do some serious damage to the handsome face of everyone's favourite Canadian Hero......."

.......Owen takes the microphone, saying that this is exactly the problem with America and Americans today.....they would rather assault their problems with a WEAPON.....than deal with it Mano et Mano in the ring like gentlemen......but never fear, because he and Bret know how these Americans work.....they knew Scott Steiner would be out here tonight looking for blood.......and they planned for every eventual outcome.......which is why, they have arranged for a little bit of protection for the man who will be main eventing In Your House......Jericho's own personal security.........

........and it’s their brother in-law, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart who comes marching down to the ring, looking as barrel chested as always, tugging on that ever present goatee and laughing like a madman as he walks.....

......he climbs into the ring and embraces both Bret and Owen, before offering a more professional handshake to Jericho, before taking up position behind him with his arms folded over his large chest.....Jericho does look a little more comfortable now, with the added muscle of the Anvil watching his back, turning to the Hart Brothers with a smile, telling them "......Ok....get ready.......any minute now......" Bret looks confused for a moment, asking Jericho what exactly they should be ready for?......

".......Steiner's music.....you know how these things work.....get ready for the sirens righttttttttttt...........now.....................now......................right now..............."

.......Owen smiles, telling Jericho not to worry.....like he already told him, they planned for all eventualities.......and right now, another great Canadian......Lance Storm.....is giving Steiner the beating of a lifetime in the back......Steiner isn't coming out now.......Jericho doesn't look entirely convinced by that, saying that Lance Storm hates him, why would he help him?......Bret says that he's not......he's doing it for the Hitman, a favour from one great Canadian to another.....before saying that In Your House is going to be a great night for Canadians all over the world......just like tonight is going to be a great night for Bret Hart, when he takes Stone Cold Steve Austin....a man who's been a thorn in his side and a blemish on the face of this great sport for over twelve months now.....and show the world that he's nothing more than a charlatan, when he makes him submit to the Sharpshooter.......at In Your House, Owen and Jericho are going to take out two more embarrassments of the wrestling business in Scott Steiner and the British Bulldog.......and then maybe......just maybe, they will finally take out the Wolfpac too......

Our first match of the evening is a tag team affair, and one that could well have some serious ramifications on the WWF Tag Team Title scene.....because while Matt and Jeff Hardy may well have a date with the New Age Outlaws at In Your House, a victory here could well move either Snow and Candido or Goldust and Marcus one step closer to a shot at whoever should walk out of In Your House with those title belts.....

......Al Snow and Chris Candido have had a hell of a run as a team since their initial outing on the Wrestlemania pre-show.....they were unsuccessful that night but they have racked up a pretty impressive run of victories since then, and have a re-invigorated spring in their step (well Snow does anyway) after reclaiming Head from Edge and Christian at the King of the Ring.....

........Goldust and Marcus might not have the tag team experience together that their opponents tonight do, but as Jim Ross points out, Goldust HAS held tag team gold earlier in his career, and so is no stranger to picking up victories with a partner.....of course, whether that experience will help tonight remains to be seen.....

......Snow and Candido do start the match strong.....(and it's a decent match at that).....with Marcus the one on the receiving end of the majority of the offence, before Goldust manages to turn the tide for his team, as he and his partner isolate Al Snow, looking to dismantle the less (mentally) stable member of the opposing team.....Jim Ross remarks that it's not often that Goldust is only the SECOND most bizarre participant in a match, but Al Snow may well have the Golden One beaten in the oddball department.....

......obviously Snow was always going to make the hot tag.....and it was a hot tag at that, because Al and Chris have developed quite the following.....and the match finally broke out into chaos as these matches are oft to do.....and things got even more chaotic.......

......when Edge and Christian came running down the aisle.....Jim Ross remarked that obviously the duo were here to assist Goldust and Marcus as some kind of retribution for their defeat at the King of the Ring.....but it was actually BOTH teams that the loud mouthed Canadians began assaulting, and soon a three way brawl broke out, leaving the official little choice but to throw this one out.

From there, while security attempts to separate the three warring teams in the arena, Jim Ross sends us to footage apparently recorded during that last match.....which sees Scott Steiner fighting it out in the back with young Canadian Lance Storm....who despite his stormy relationship with Chris Jericho, is indeed looking to take out the WWF Champion......unfortunately for Mr. Storm, whatever seeds Bret Hart planted in his head weren't strong enough to stop the rampaging bull that was Big Poppa Pump.....as Steiner finally bounced Lance Storm off a nearby wall.....before bouncing his lead pipe off the youngsters skull, putting him down and out.........

......the footage then switches to a live broadcast, which sees Scott Steiner (still wielding that lead pipe) walking the halls of the building, screaming for Jericho to take his balls out of the Hitman's little pink purse and come and face him, swinging open doors and sending backstage workers scattering for safety in his wake.......it looks like Chris Jericho could be in for a long night should the WWF Champion finally get his hands on him.

While we ARE in the back, we go to Dok Hendrix, who's standing by with Ted DiBiase and his Million Dollar Corporation.....who don't look particularly pleased this evening......Dok says that at In Your House it will be Rich Steiner facing off against Ken Shamrock.....but tonight, its Mark Canterbury that has to face the Worlds Most Dangerous Man......and the rest of the Corporation are banned from ringside for the duration of the match.......surely that must effect Ted DiBiase's game plan?......

.......Deebs certainly isn't pleased.....calling it an absolute travesty that the Corporation would be banned from anywhere, let alone at ringside....he says while Canterbury will be more than man enough to take out Shamrock, Rich Steiner should at least be allowed out there to........."scout".........his In Your House opponent......with "scout" obviously a thinly veiled way of saying interfere in the match of his In Your House opponent.......

".......but the Million Dollar Man didn't become a million dollar man without knowing how to put a contingency plan in place.......and I think I can see just the solution......right there......so if you'll excuse me Dok, I have some business to attend to.........."

.......and that business appears to be with a passing Bradshaw......who DiBiase quickly approaches, pulling out a large pile of high denomination notes from his pocket as he does so......apparently Ted is banking on the only adage, that everyone has a price.....for the Million Dollar Man.

Ken Shamrock has a date with Rich Steiner in just a few short weeks at In Your House.....tonight however, he has one of Steiner’s Million Dollar Teammates to contend with, one half of Southern Justice, Mark Canterbury.....and while Ted DiBiase’s managers licence allows him to accompany his ward to ringside, Rich Steiner, Jeff Jarrett and Dennis Knight are all barred from walking down that aisle for the duration of this match.....

......Shamrock is still brand new here in the WWF, and obviously isn’t as polished as he has the potential to be.....and his opponent is a big, big man.....even so, Ken looks pretty comfortable in there as he traps Canterbury in a number of submission holds, leaving things looking pretty bleak for the Corporation man.......so much so that DiBiase eventually starts signalling to the back, looking for that contingency plan........

.....which is when the big Texan, Bradshaw comes walking down to the ring, where DiBiase hands him a thick wad of cash, telling him to “go and get the job done”, before hopping up onto the apron to provide a distraction to the official.......

.......Bradshaw climbs into the ring behind Shamrock and starts rotating that arm, warming the limb up for that hellacious Lariat that he is now famous for.....Shamrock turns around and stops dead in his tracks when he sees the big man from Texas standing there......but Bradshaw simply indicates for Ken to move aside.......and when he does, it’s Canterbury that gets absolutely destroyed with the Clothesline straight from Hell.......

........DiBiase looks on in shock as Bradshaw climbs out of the ring and grabs him by the collar, before shoving Ted’s blood money straight into the Million Dollar Mouth, telling DiBiase that he ”......ain’t no damn protection agency.....and I sure as hell ain’t for sale......” before shoving Deebs to the floor and walking off, just as Shamrock locks in the ankle lock submission......and Canterbury has no choice but to concede the match, as The Worlds Most Dangerous Man picks up an important victory on the road to In Your House.

From there we head to the back, where Raven is sat on the floor in a gloomy room, back against the wall, Flock surrounding him......he looks up at the Dogs of War for a moment before shaking his head and commencing to speak......

”........throughout the trials and tribulations and the heartbreak and the misery that is my life, there is only one man who's advice I've ever headed.......he told me that life is a game, and there are only two rules.......one.......there are no rules.......and two.......the other players in the game are only there to be manipulated to your own ends.........Psycho Sid, you’re nothing more than player two......a pawn in a game you can never hope to fully understand......playing against an opponent that you can never hope to defeat......

.......you seem to think that by planting the seeds of doubt in the splintered minds of my Flock, that you can garner some kind of psychological edge in our battle of wills....but what you fail to realise, is the Flock are loyal to me.....and regardless of your attempts to manipulate the facts, they just aren’t ready to spread their wings and fly solo, lest they fly too close to the sun and plummet to the earth......as the Dogs of War learnt last week......

......never the less, being the benevolent individual I am, I have arranged a match tonight for Bill DeMott.....a match, that should he win, would open the eyes of the world......except he won’t win.......because he isn’t ready........just as you Psycho Sid, are not ready for what is to come.....which, if you really HAD been speaking to my mentor, he would have told you as well......Sid, in a battle of the minds you’re a man with a baseball bat, staring into the eyes of a man wielding an atomic bomb......it’s a battle you can’t win.........just like Bill DeMott won’t win tonight.........Quote the Raven.......Nevermore......”

......with that DeMott and the rest of the Flock turn to leave, but Raven stops them.....telling Bill that HE wanted this......HE....and he alone.....has got it.....go and spread your wings.....and try not to crash and burn.

If Raven is to be believed, Bill DeMott personally requested this match......although judging by the look on his face that’s even a outright lie, or Bill was not expecting to be flying solo tonight.......either way, the result remains the same, he’s got to step into the ring next with the maniacal Cactus Jack.....

......this was a little bit of a massacre to be fair, DeMott clearly had a game plan coming into the match, but it was a game plan centred around the “moral” support of the Flock at ringside.....now he’s a man alone, and Cactus beats the hell out of him......

......after defeating Raven at Wrestlemania, morphing into the repressed personality of Cactus Jack in the process, his victory here must surely be the closure that Mick Foley needed to finally close the book on the Chapter of his life entitled “Raven and the Flock”.....because make no mistake.....he won........and after un-mercifully destroying his opponent on the floor, Cactus slams the back of DeMotts (and his own) head onto the concrete with a Russian Leg Sweep, he climbs onto the apron......then up to the second turnbuckle......before leaping off and crushing the life out of the Flock man (and probably doing some damage to his kidneys in the process) with a diving elbow drop, before tossing DeMott unceremoniously into the ring and finishing him off with the Double Underhook DDT.

As they drag poor DeMott away we head to the back, where Scott Steiner is still searching for a Canadian........preferably Chris Jericho, but presumably Bret or Owen Hart would be just as good, because he’s hollering for all three men, slamming his lead pipe against walls and doors as he goes......

......suddenly he’s blindsided by Lance Storm, who you would assume has just left the medics room judging by the tape around his ribs......Storm lays a series of hammering blows into the lower back of Scotty, who drops the pipe with a clatter of metal on concrete. Storm backs Steiner up against a nearby wall, and begins unleashing with a series of lefts and rights, but Scotty finally shrugs him off, spins him around, and lets loose with a number of stiff right hands of his own, before essentially Irish Whipping Storm straight into the opposite wall.....Steiner bends down to retrieve his lead pipe, which he crashes into the ribs of Storm, doubling him over......before delivering a shot straight to the back with the weapon......

.......Storm is down and out, but Steiner isn’t satisfied, as he drags his attacker to his feet, wraps his huge arms around him......and delivers a huge overhead belly to belly that sends Storm crashing straight through (the gimmicked) dry wall behind him......Storm may as well have stayed in the infirmary, because it looks like he’s heading straight back there, as Steiner kicks a pile of rubble to one side, picks up his lead pipe.......and continues his search for Chris Jericho and the Hart Foundation......and it looks like it could be a long night for the trio, should Big Poppa Pump get his hands (or steel pipe) in them.

Next up it’s back to Tag Team action, as two men who will be opponents in two weeks time at In Your House, when they both Challenge Scorpio in a triple threat match for the WWF Light Heavyweight Title, Rey Mysterio and Dean Malenko, are teaming up tonight to face off against two of Scorpio’s Nation of Domination running mates, Kama and Nelson......

......Malenko and Mysterio actually teamed up together last week, in what was an outstanding match against the Hart Foundation, which just saw the two light heavyweight hopefuls come up short......this match was nowhere near as good.....but then their opponents weren’t Bret and Owen Hart either......what they were, are two huge, huge men......so huge in fact, that Nelson alone outweighing BOTH opponents COMBINED by 200lbs......add Kama’s 300+ pounds on top of that, and the Nation of Domination have at LEAST a half ton weight advantage here.....

......obviously that DID mean that Mysterio and Malenko (especially Mysterio) has the speed advantage in this one.....and they used it to their advantage, running circles around the two big men.....it was only a matter of time however before one of them got caught......and it was Mysterio that got plucked out of the air by Nelson, and driven hard into the corner, driving the air from his body.....

......as if giving up an insurmountable weight difference wasn’t enough of an uphill battle to climb, the light Heavyweights also had Scorpio on the outside to contend with.....and the current divisions Champion taunted both Malenko and Mysterio throughout the course of the match.....Rick Rude mentioned on commentary, that if Dean Malenko was smart, he’d sit back and let the Nation destroy little Rey Mysterio for him, giving him one less opponent to worry about come In Your House......of course Malenko was too much of a competitor to allow that, and soon made the hot tag when the opportunity arose.....

.....unfortunately the odds were simply to great for the two smaller men to overcome.....and after a valiant attempt it was Scorpio that gave his men the assist, tripping Mysterio to the mat and leaving him wide open for a 500lb Splash from Nelson, that he had absolutely no chance of kicking out of......as the momentum for In Your House goes to Scorpio, who wasn’t even a legal part of this match.

The rest of the Nation (and by rest I mean Faarooq and The Rock) join Kama, Nelson and Scorpio in the ring, where Dean Malenko is beaten down and treated to the same 500lb Splash from Nelson that Mysterio has just received......the two light heavyweight challengers are then each dragged to an opposite corner of the ring, where Scorpio delivers two successive 450 Scorpio Splashes.......one to Malenko and one to Mysterio, before The Rock takes a microphone.......

......as the Nation stand over the broken wreckage that is Dean Malenko and Rey Mysterio, he tells the crowd that it is a damn outrage that the Rock isn’t standing here right now as the WWF European Champion......

”........instead, the Rock is stood here with his thumb up his ass, because Vince McMahon handed the Rocks European Championship to that little pip-squeak the 123 Kid.......the Rock was not given adequate time to prepare for a Title defence last week, and because of THAT, the millions.....and millions of the Rock’s fans were robbed of seeing their People’s Champion defend that title with pride at In Your House........

......luckily for them, they will get to witness the Rock REGAIN his European Championship at In Your House.....because the Rock wants his rematch.....the Rock is going to GET his rematch.....and the Rock will once again be YOUR WWF European Champion.....when he kicks that little Wolfpac Chihuahua, Sean Waltman’s ass in the middle of the ring.....because the KLiQ is dead and buried.....the Nation is where it’s at......and losing to the Rock will be THE single most greatest think that Sean Waltman does in his miserable life.........”

.......which brings out the WWF European Champion himself, Sean Waltman.....along with his Wolfpac partner Scott Hall......two out of three ain’t bad, because Kevin Nash is still at home recuperating that knee in preparation for his upcoming Summerslam clash with the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels......

.......Waltman unhooks the title from round his waist and drapes it over his shoulder, telling the Rock that they don’t have to wait till In Your House.......

”.......you can lose your rematch in exactly the same place you lost your title........Monday Night Raw.......”

......Waltman says he ha his gear on, so why don’t they do this.......right now!......

.......the Rock isn’t going for that however, telling Waltman that there will be NO more impromptu title matches.....the Rock needs to fully prepare for a match of this magnitude.....he needs to centre his Chi.......but since Scott Hall has his wrestling gear on, how about HE man’s up and faces the Rock.......

”.......Hey Yo, I got no problem with that man(g).....you want the Bad Guy, you got the Bad Guy.......and after The Kid’s done kicking your ass again at In Your House, maybe Scott Hall will take that Intercontinental Championship for the fifth time....just for the hell of it.......”

So our semi-main event of the evening sees two factions who have had very little to do with each other here in the WWF (mainly due to the fact that they were both heel groups back when the ‘Pac were still rocking the black and white) facing off for the second week in a row, as the Wolfpac’s Scott Hall steps in the ring with The Rock from the Nation......

......Rocky may have his sights set on Sean Waltman and the European Championship, but he’s got his hands full here tonight, against a man who knows all to well what it means to wear the gold here in the WWF, holding the Tag Team Titles twice (three times of you want to get technical) with two different partners in Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman, as well as being the only man in the World Wrestling Federation to be crowned the Intercontinental Champion on four occasions......tonight isn’t about gold however, it’s about pride......it’s about the Wolfpac vs. The Nation......and it’s about to get messy..........

...:::!!!WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!:::...

......because the Wolfpac seem to have forgotten that it’s not just Kevin Nash that has a date for Summerslam........Hall and Waltman have got a match lined up with the Nature Boy Ric Flair and The Enforcer Arn Anderson......and the two Equestrian Legends don’t seem to be taking the fact that the Wolfpac have forgotten about them very kindly.......

........everyone turns at the sound of the Nature Boys iconic theme, as the two men make their way down the aisle, just as Scott Hall has The Rock positioned for the Razors Edge......Sean Waltman clearly knows what’s coming, as he readies himself to fight on the outside.......not that it is much of a fight, because he’s soon overpowered when it’s two against one......

......Hall tosses the Rock to one side to go to the aid of Waltman on the floor.......of course that just means that the official has little choice but to disqualify the Rock for outside interference the second Arn Anderson’s fist connects with Scott Halls face.....

......the Rock looks p!ssed to have lost the match through no fault of his own, but as Faarooq points out to him ”........the more those white boys beat each other up, the easier it’s gonna be for YOU to break that little toothpick back of Waltman’s at In Your House.....lets get the hell out of here.....”

......which they do, leaving Hall and Waltman to battle it out with Anderson and Flair, as Jim Ross sends us to our final commercial break of the evening.

When we come back from commercial we head straight to the back, where Dok Hendrix is standing with a very shiny (so shiny he looks like someone’s tipped a bottle of baby oil over his head) Ahmed Johnson, along with his loudmouth manager, James E. Cornette.....Dok asks Cornette the obvious question, that being, when Ahmed Johnson is only a little over a month away from competing for the World Wrestling Federation Championship at Summerslam......why oh why would you antagonise Stone Cold Steve Austin.......talk about poking a Rattlesnake with a pointy stick?.......

”........why?......I’d say that was pretty obvious Hendrix.......why would someone go out of their way to antagonise the Undertaker?......why would one man go out of his way to take on.....and take out......the Son’s of Samoa?......why would Ahmed Johnson antagonise Stone Cold Steve Austin a month before Summerslam?......because despite what Steve Austin may think, Ahmed Johnson is the BADDEST S.o.B in the WWF......and if Stone Cold Steve Austin thinks differently, well then.....Ahmed Johnson will gladly step into that ring with him at In Your House, and show the Rattlesnake what a bad man really looks like........in fact, he might even go out there right now......and make that challenge in person.........”

It’s time now to rekindle a battle that’s been raging quietly along for over a year now, ever since the finals of the 1996 King of the Ring, which saw Steve Austin defeat Bret Hart, by rather nefarious means.......since then, Stone Cold and the Harts have faced off on more than one occasion......they feuded over the Tag Team Titles.....and even found themselves on the same side (of a losing team) at the 1996 Survivor Series.....but truth be told, there was never a decisive winner to the war......and while Austin has gone on to become one of the most popular figures here in the WWF, Bret and Owen have gone on to become two of the most hated.......a fact that Bret Hart finds particularly hard to swallow......

.......never let it be said that Steve Austin isn’t a man to hold a grudge, because as well as his unresolved differences with Scott Steiner and Brian Pillman, he holds the Hart Foundation directly responsible for the fact that he’s not walking around today as the World Wrestling Federation Champion, after Bret and Owen brought his triple threat Championship opportunity at the King of the Ring to a premature end......but you can also add Ahmed Johnson to the Stone Cold Sh!t List, after the big man from pearl river laid his hands on the Rattlesnake a few weeks back on Raw........and speaking of Ahmed Johnson........

........the man himself comes marching down the aisle during the course of this one, positioning himself at ringside where he once again proceeds to levy the challenge for Austin to face him at In Your House.....and with Owen Hart.....and now Ahmed Johnson on the outside, you’ve got to think it’s only a matter of time before Bret Hart is able to pick up the victory here......except it doesn’t quite work like that........

.........because Chris Jericho suddenly comes running out from the back.......followed by a pipe wielding Scott Steiner.........with the Anvil Jim Neidhart bringing up the rear (clutching at his ribs as he goes).......

......at which point it’s safe to say that madness breaks out.......as Austin is sick of the sight of Ahmed Johnson, bailing to the floor to begin brawling with him, just as Jericho and Steiner hit the ring, where Bret and Owen join Jericho and Neidhart in attempting to subdue the manic beast that is Scott Steiner........and the official has given up even trying to keep order....this one is over folks.

Winner: No Contest

To say things then got a little chaotic would be an understatement......because Steve Austin and Ahmed Johnson proceed to batter each other all the way back to the locker rooms.......presumably that challenge from Ahmed has been accepted......and at In Your House it will be Stone Cold Steve Austin going up against the Pearl River Powerhouse, Ahmed Johnson........but the fun doesn’t stop there, no, no, no.......

.......because as Austin and Ahmed brawl to the back, Steiner manages to break free of the four man beatdown........grabbing hold of his lead pipe and swinging it wildly......Bret, Owen and Jericho quickly bail to the safety of the floor, while Steiner turns and nails the Anvil right between the eyes.......Neidhart goes down like he’s been shot, and Steiner is on him in a flash, flipping him over and locking him into the Steiner Recliner......with a twist......because instead of using his hands, Steiner slides that lead pipe under the chin of Neidhart, wrenching back for all he’s worth until the Anvils eyes are bulging out of his head......

......he looks straight at the Canadian Trio on the floor, screaming at them that ”......IF THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN DO, THEN YOU'RE IN TROUBLE BOYS.......THIS BODYGUARD OF YOURS CAN’T GUARD SH!T..........”

......you’d think that the Canadian Contingent would storm the ring about now, while Steiner’s hands were otherwise occupied, but they just stand and watch as Big Poppa Pump chokes the life out of their brother in-law, before Bret picks up a microphone, and with a cocky smirk on his face, tells Steiner that........

”........we said we’d got Chris some protection........but we never said that protection was Neidhart.......”

.......with that a tall blonde haired stranger vaults over the safety barrier and into the ring......where he almost takes Steiner’s unprotected head clean off his shoulders with a Running Big Boot........and THEN the trio on the floor re-enter the ring......Jericho pounces on his In Your House opponent, while his unknown protected joins him as the two stomp Scotty into the mat.......

.......Bret and Owen help Neidhart to his feet, who is clearly struggling to stand after the prolonged Steel Pipe Recliner..........and out of nowhere Bret suddenly drives Anvil to the mat with a Russian Leg Sweep........

........Jericho picks up the pipe, and nails Steiner right in the small of the back, before locking in the Walls of Jericho.......just as Owen Hart applies the Sharpshooter to the Anvil.......and as the show comes to a close, Bret Hart walks over to a near by camera, asking........

”.......what do you think of Your American Hero now?........here’s a little bit of Canadian hospitality for you......”

.......as the show fades out to the sounds of the WWF Champion Scott Steiner screaming out in pain, locked in the Walls of Jericho.
