<p><strong>Hell in a Cell Match</strong></p><p>

<strong>Mankind</strong> vs. Brian Pillman</p><p>

Comments: More hpping than expecting, really; You have two of my all-time favourites, and Mankind coming out on top on Raw <em>could</em> mean it's going to be Pillman... but it just seems like Mankind needs the win more.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWF Championship: Triple Threat Match</strong></p><p>

<strong> Ahmed Johnson ©</strong> vs. Kevin Nash vs. Bret Hart</p><p>

Comments: Johnson shouldn't be able to survive these two, but it's not like they'll be able to operate on the same page even for a minute. Johnson will survive to capitalise on that.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWF Intercontinental Championship Match</strong></p><p>

<strong> Owen Hart ©</strong> vs. Scott Hall</p><p>

Comments: Hall's one of your more entertaining characters, I think, but he's not fit. It's remarkable he does so well for you, but I guess he's well protected when he does wrestle.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWF Tag Team Championship Match</strong></p><p>

The New Age Outlaws © vs. <strong>Al Snow & Chris Candido</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong>Comments: Sunny could still switch to the NAO, but barring that it seems like Snow and Candido have earned this. Which I never thought I'd say about Candido in any dynasty, as the guy was a total cypher for me in real life.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Falls Count Anywhere: Street Fight</strong></p><p>

<strong> Harlem Heat</strong> vs. The Dogs of War</p><p>

Comments: Upside, upside, upside.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong> Steve Austin</strong> vs. Kane</p><p>

Comments: Kane's a big road block, but Austin's the irresistible force right now.</p><p> </p><p>

Barry Windham & Psycho Sid vs. <strong>Ric Flair & Arn Anderson</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong>Comments: Horsemen A Team over Horsemen B Team - and I say that as someone who really liked Windham and Sid.</p><p> </p><p>

Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. Raven</p><p>

Comments: I don't think this one goes to a conclusive finish.</p>

<p>Mankind - <em>After all the build of Foley not being able to defeat Pillman, he needs to finally get that big win. Hell in a Cell is a great place for that.</em></p><p>

Ahmed Johnson - <em>This one would put Ahmed over HUGE, but I have a feeling we will be seeing some of the Undertaker's DONG coming for him very soon.</em></p><p>

Scott Hall - <em>I know I've championed Hall a lot here, but the Wolfpac have really just become "Nash and his two buddies". Hall picking up a title would go a long way toward changing that view.</em></p><p>

New Age Outlaws - <em>After all the hard work to get another match from them, the Outlaws cheat to retain the titles.</em></p><p>

Harlem Heat - <em>Heat vs. NAO coming soon.</em></p><p>

Steve Austin</p><p>

Flair and Arn</p><p>

Raven - <em>Unless Jake shows up stoned off his gourd, this one isn't about to be over anytime soon.</em></p>

his colleagues for the evening....and yes, that is plural....because along with Ravishing Rick Rude, joining us at the broadcast position this evening is none other than Jerry "The King" Lawler.....a man who called his last Pay Per View match almost one year ago to the day at 1996's October In Your House event.....</p><p> </p><p> ......on that night, Mankind was defeated by the Big Red Monster Kane....while Brain Pillman (and Stone Cold Steve Austin) was defeated by Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, losing the WWF Tag Team Titles in the process......tonight, one of these men could lose so much more than a match....they could lose their very careers, because they are stepping into a steel structure built to maim, mangle and mutilate.....not to mention THREE big title matches.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Owen Hart defends the Intercontinental Championship against Scott Hall, the New Age Outlaws put the Tag Team Gold on the line against Al Snow and Chris Candido....and yes, the big one....as defending WWF Champion Ahmed Johnson faces not one, but two men in Bret Hart and Steve Austin....and the Champion doesn't even have to be pinned to lose his src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....and we are indeed opening up with Championship action.....Intercontinental Championship action that is, as the war between the Hart Foundation and the Wolfpac continues, with Scott Hall looking to pick up what you COULD call a record breaking fifth Intercontinental Championship, but his current four reigns with the belt is ALREADY a record.....so, an extra record breaking fifth Intercontinental Championship reign I guess?......</p><p> </p><p> .....Scott Hall actually has some history when it comes to Intercontinental Title shots at the United Centre....this arena was the home to Summerslam 1994, the event in which Hall began his second reign with the belt, defeating Kevin Nash in the process.....while Owen Hart of course had a less successful night that evening, losing to brother Bret in a steel cage match for the WWF Championship.....</p><p> </p><p> .....despite the Bad Guy's current flaws (injury, time decline) this really was a fantastic match....it's a shame that Hall has spent the last year plagued with an Achilles injury, because even under those circumstances he's put on some outstanding displays....it will be interesting to see what he can do when he's given a clean bill of health, because in about a months time (31 days to be precise) we may well have an injury free Scott Hall to contend with......</p><p> </p><p> .....injury or not, the Bad Guy starts out strong in this one, and as the bell rings he pie faces Owen Hart, before arrogantly tossing that toothpick into the face of the Champion......that infuriates Owen, who charges at Hall, only to get hip-tossed halfway across the ring.....Owen jumps back to his feet to charge the challenger again, ducking under a clothesline attempt, running the ropes, and letting fly with a cross-body block.....</p><p> </p><p> .....which Hall catches.....</p><p> </p><p> .....before tossing Hart overhead with that S.o.S (Sack of Sh!t) Fallaway Slam, and the crowd goes nuts, clearly well and truly behind the Wolfpac man here tonight in Chicago.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Owen uses the momentum of that move to roll under the bottom rope to the outside, where he spends a few minutes stalling, composing himself.....and generally riling up the crowd....Hall gets fed up of waiting and jumps to the outside after the challenger, who quickly flees again, this time rolling under the bottom rope, back into the ring....and as Hall follows back him in, Owen drops a knee to the spine of the number one contender, before going straight on the offence.....</p><p> </p><p> .....now the King of Harts slows the pace down, continuing to soften up the back of the challenger, while still maintaining a deliberate assault to that damaged foot (Achilles) as well, and it's not long before the Bad Guy is looking in pretty bad shape as Owen's confidence grows and he starts verbally berating the Wolfpac member throughout his assault....he whips Hall into the ropes and the Bad Guy ducks the initial clothesline attempt, only for Owen to catch him with that patented belly-to-belly suplex on the return....</p><p> </p><p> ....Owen mounts the back of his challenger, before locking Hall into the Steiner Recliner, telling Hall that his muscle-headed buddy isn't here to save him now, leaving Jim Ross to remark that he's not sure that antagonising Scott Steiner is such a good idea....turns out that antagonising Scott Hall wasn't such a good idea either, because in an impressive display of strength the Bad Guy is able to power all the way to his feet, before dropping the King of Harts with an Electric Chair Drop......</p><p> </p><p> .....Hall tries to regain the advantage, whipping Owen into the corner, but Hart gets his feet up on the charge that Hall follows up with, then drops down to make a quick cover (putting his feet on the ropes for extra leverage) and is a hairs width away from the victory when the official spots the feet on the ropes.....still near the corner, Owen backs up and mounts the second turnbuckle, coming off with an elbow that's very reminiscent of his brothers for another near fall.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Owen arrogantly dusts off his hands, yelling at the crowd that this one is over, before picking up Halls legs for the Sharpshooter attempt.....Hall is able to kick him off, but can't take control of the match, at least not until Owen attempts a hurracanrana, on a rope running sequence, which a weary Scott Hall is able to counter into a powerbomb variation. We may well have looking at a new Champion had Hall been able to make the cover sooner, but he was too spent and took to long to drape an arm over the Intercontinental Champion, and Hart was able to get his shoulder up before the three......</p><p> </p><p> ......the two men get back to their feet and begin to trade blows.....Hall gets the upper hand in that exchange, leading to Owen raking him in the eyes before attempting an Irish Whip into the corner which Hall reverses, leading to Owen crashing into the turnbuckles with that trademark Hart sternum-first corner bump.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Hall drags Owen to the middle of the ring, getting him into position for the Razors Edge, but Owen rolls through and lands on the mat behind him, rolling him up for another near fall....back on their feet and Owen goes for a kick to the gut, which Hall catches....only for Hart to nail him right in the back of the head with an enziguri.....and the Owen does finally manage to apply the Sharpshooter....right in the middle of the ring.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the commentators talk about the legitimate Achilles Injury that Scott Hall has been working through for over a year now, stating between that and the damage Owen has inflicted on the back during this match, he must be in agony right now.....and he is.....but he somehow manages to claw to the ropes to break up the submission attempt......the Official tells Owen to break the hold, leading to Owen celebrating like Hall submitted and he just won (when blatantly he knows that's not true).....</p><p> </p><p> .....the action continues, and even though Hall is in pain, he is still able to get back into the fight, again whipping Owen hard into the turnbuckles, looking for that sternum-first bump again.....this time however Owen is ready for it, and he leaps up and lands on the second rope....he feints a reverse dive/crossbody and Hall drops to the mat to avoid it, leading Owen to laugh and turn back to the crowd, tapping a finger against his head to signify how smart he is......</p><p> </p><p> .....not that smart apparently.....because he's still on the second turnbuckle.....and he's facing the crowd.....which means he's in the perfect position for Scott Hall to walk up behind him, turn back to back....and pull him off the turnbuckles into position for the Razors Edge, driving him hard into the mat for the one......the two......and the three......and just like that, the Bad Guy is a five time WWF Intercontinental Champion.....and the Wolfpac have all the momentum going into tonight's WWF Championship triple threat match.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> ....and <strong>New</strong> WWF Intercontinental Champion.....Scott Hall</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> victory in the ring we head to the back, where Dok Hendrix is standing by with Booker T and Stevie Ray ahead of their Falls Count Anywhere: Chicago Street Fight with the Dogs of War......</p><p> </p><p> ....Dok says that this battle has been waging on for some time now, but no team has yet picked up a clear and concise victory....tonight however, there will be no doubt that whoever wins this fight (because let's face it, it's not going to be a match) will have earned their victory, because there are no rules....no count outs....no disqualifications.....and falls count anywhere....</p><p> </p><p> ....Stevie Ray says that you're damn right they're gonna earn their victory tonight....he says that they've been playing ball with the Dogs of War for too long now, well tonight, they're gonna make those mutts sit...beg...roll over...and play dead...except it the Harlem Heat take this to the streets of Chicago, then there won't be no "playing" about it, because he and his brother will put those sucka's to sleep once and for all.....</p><p> </p><p> ....Booker agree's, telling Dok that for as much as he likes Al Snow, if there was going to be a title shot going to anyone tonight then it should have been the Harlem Heat getting a chance at the gold....but it's alright, because once he and his brother finish neutering the Dogs tonight, you can be damn sure that their next stop will be the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships........</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> .....and it is indeed a good old fashioned Chicago Street Fight....and our competitors have even come dressed for the occasion, because there are no tights to be seen....both teams are clad in denim and t-shirts, and those fists are taped good and tight.....</p><p> </p><p> .....all four of these men look like they've been in a few back alley fights in their lives, especially Booker and Stevie who grew up on 110th Street in Harlem (which is obviously a district of Houston, Texas right?) while you don't name yourself Wrath or Crush if you don't know how to fight.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the Falls Count Anywhere element of this match are highlighted immediately, with Crush making the cover right there in the back after bouncing Stevie Ray's head off the wall....he only gets a one count, but it reminds people of what we are in store for here during this one.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the Dogs of War may have the element of surprise, but it doesn't take the Heat too long to get back into this one, and soon the backstage area becomes a battleground as these four men proceed to use every available surface to punish their opponent with....they crash out of the interview area and battle their way through the arena, until they finally burst through some doors and into the public areas of the arena, scattered with places to purchase food and drink, shirts, hats, and other general memorabilia, which leads to Booker T choking the life out of Crush with a Chicago Bulls jersey, while Wrath attempts to shove a Blackhawks shirt down Stevie Rays throat.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the two teams gain quite the audience as they work their way around the arena, with a number of near falls happening along the way, until Booker finally Irish Whips Wrath through the doors of a public bathroom, following him inside where he bounces his head off the wall.....not to be outdone, Crush and Stevie follow their partners inside, where Crush slams Stevie face first onto a sink, before making the cover right there in the bathroom.....it's only good for two, and thankfully for the hygiene of all concerned the action soon heads back out as the four men continue their war....they haven't even made it out in front of the live crowd yet, and it doesn't look like they're going to, because they're heading in completely the opposite direction.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the two teams wind up battling down by the ticket gates, until they finally exit the building completely, as this Street Fight heads outside the arena and into the parking area, and after making the use of the internal environment a few moments ago, there's just as much fun to be had outside, although not if you're a car owner, because that might be your 1987 Cadillac DeVille that Booker T just got backdropped onto.....Crush makes the cover right there on the parking lot floor, but Stevie Ray breaks it off with what looks to be a metal parking sign.....Wrath comes to the aid of his partner, but he too takes a shot to the skull from the sign, before Stevie hits what looked to be a modification of a spine buster, bouncing Wrath off the hood of a car, making the cover right there for two.....</p><p> </p><p> .....given the nature of this match, it was never going to go long.....it was too high impact, too high octane, and the human body can only go full out for so long.....and since this is a Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight, the finish came right out there on the street.....because as Wrath charges at Booker T, Booker sidesteps the onslaught, grabs his opponent by the back of the head, and uses Wrath's own momentum to smash the Dog of War's head straight through the (gimmicked) passenger side window of a parked car.....Booker makes the cover right out there on the concrete, and three seconds later Harlem Heat can finally turn their attention away from the Dogs of War, and focus their onslaught on the WWF Tag team Championships, because the stalemate has been arena where we go to Michael Cole, who is standing by with the owner of the World Wrestling Federation, Mr. Vincent Kennedy McMahon, along with his Faux Horsemen, Brian Pillman, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and the Big Red Problem Solver Kane.....and the boss looks to be in a particularly good mood this evening, a fact which Cole asks him about......</p><p> </p><p> .....McMahon says that of course he's in a good mood....everything is right with the world, because tonight is the night that Kane finally puts an end to the Texas Rattlesnakes party.....he says that Austin has been running around disrupting his shows, interrupting matches.....and worst of all....placing his hands on the Boss.....well in a few short minutes, he won't be placing his hands on anything ever again....because Kane is going to Chokeslam him straight to hell......</p><p> </p><p> ......and then with Austin out of the occasion, maybe it's time that we crowned a few Corporate Champions around here.....after all, you've got tag team champions going around telling people to "Suck it"....whatever "it" is......and you've got challengers who are either insane or street fighting thugs.....that's not corporates idea of a champion.....OUR champions would have class....prestige.........experience.....champions like say, Ric Flair and Arn Anderson......</p><p> </p><p> <em>"....that's right Mr. McMahon.....and rich.....well, you made the biggest mistake of your life.....because TONIGHT....you find out....that while fame and fortune can be temporary, Diamonds are forever.......and so are Ric Flair and The Enforcer.....Woooooooooo......"</em></p><p> </p><p> .....and then, Mr. McMahon says, there's the little matter of the World title.....held by a disrespectful thug, being challenged for by a degenerate and a crybaby......none of those men screams "Face of the WWF" to Corporate......but this man right here.....the Corporate Cannon Brian Pillman.....once he's survived Hell in a Call tonight, will there be ANY doubt who the true number one contender is?.....Pillman lets out his signature wide eyed cackle, before turning to the camera.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>"......indeed there won't....because as The Crowned Prince of Chaos scratches and claws his way out of the mouth of hell, leaving the battered and bloody corpse of Mankind in his wake....a new power will ascend the throne....a new ruler saw our Street Fight up on the big screens, but that's not the same......and can you think of a better wrestler to breath the life back into a crowd than the Nature Boy Ric Flair?.......</p><p> </p><p> .....it's Horsemen vs. Horsemen as Flair and Anderson face off against Psycho Sid and Barry Windham.....and this match was so much better than it had any right to be.....you had four men with a combined age of 160......one of whom was Psycho Sid.....it went all of 14 minutes.....and it was still awesome......guess that's the Ric Flair influence for you.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the majority of the match was centred around the Corporate Duo attempting to neutralise the size and strength of Sid, by doing everything they can to keep him out of the match.....the babyfaces started strong, but it was Windham that found himself in the role of face in peril, as Flair and Anderson cut the ring in half, focusing on the leg of the man from Sweetwater, presumably in an effort to weaken it for Flair's Figure Four.....and it worked for the most part.....at least until Windham was able to drop Anderson with a Bulldog, and crawl his way over to Sid's outstretched hand for the tag.....</p><p> </p><p> ......the man who claims to be the Master and Ruler of the World hits the ring then, and he nails Anderson and Flair with big stiff right hands, before dropping the Enforcer with a Big Boot and dumping Flair to the outside.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Windham gets back into the fray and the match breaks down as tag team matches tend to do, with Psycho Sid and The Enforcer battling it out, while Windham and The Nature Boy go at it.....Flair goes inside out in the corner....runs the apron....and heads up top......no one knows why, because it never goes well......doesn't go will here either.....but instead of getting tossed to the mat, Windham clips the leg of the Nature Boy, crushing Space Mountain onto the top turnbuckles, before climbing up to the second rope, presumably looking for that patented Superplex.....</p><p> </p><p> .....before he can deliver it however, Anderson whips Sid into the corner, where he collides with the back of Windham....Barry crashes to the mat and Flair drops down too, where he sends Sid to the outside before following him as well.....Windham struggles back to his feet, but Anderson is there and waiting with that DDT of his....and as Flair clings onto Sid's leg for dear life on the outside, preventing him from breaking up the pin, Anderson covers and gets the one, two, three.</p><p> </p><p> inside the locker room of the Hart Foundation....and the atmosphere is NOT a happy one following Owen Hart's defeat at the hands of Scott Hall earlier in the evening.....Bret sits lacing up his boots....Test stands stoically in the corner of the room, looking out for danger....Owen and Jericho on the other hand are very animated, hamming it up and making excuses for the Intercontinental Title loss (Hall cheated....the official was paid off....Owen's shoulder was off the mat....Hall submitted to the Sharpshooter) none of it is true, but hey, they're heels....heels lie....</p><p> </p><p> .....Bret finally finishes lacing his boots and climbs to his feet, putting a stop to Owen and Jericho's tirade.....he says that by now, if there's one thing the Hart Foundation are used to, it's fighting through adversity.....he says that he and Owen jumped through hoops for near on six months to get a shot at the WWF Tag Team Title shot.....when they got that shot they took the belts.....Owen had to defeat two men to win that Intercontinental Championship in the first place....he did it once, he'll do it again......</p><p> </p><p> ......Bret says that he earned a one on one shot at the WWF Title last month, and then got screwed out of any chance of winning by Kevin Nash.....he came back from that and he EARNED another one on one shot at Ahmed Johnson tonight, only to get screwed out of of that one on one opportunity when Kevin Nash once again stuck his nose in, making it a triple threat.....well that's ok.....because adversity is what makes a Champion, and rest assured Bret Hart is the true definition of a Champion.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Owen, Jericho and Test move in closer to surround Bret, as The Hitman says that tonight...one way or another...the WWF Title WILL be in the possession of the Hart Foundation....because with Jericho, Test, and his brother Owen watching his back, there is no way on gods green earth that the rest of the Wolfpac will be able to screw the Hitman out of a victory....meaning that all Bret Hart has to do, is go out there tonight and win a wrestling match....and winning wrestling matches is what the Hitman does that, but after weeks of waiting, Vince McMahon may FINALLY get that retribution he's been waiting for.....because if there's one thing Kane does will, it's punish people......</p><p> </p><p> .....of course, Stone Cold Steve Austin isn't your usual opponent....and if Kane punishes, then the Rattlesnake just Whoops Ass....and seven foot tall or not, it doesn't matter.....Austin has bested much bigger men plenty of times in his career, one more doesn't matter a hell to him....</p><p> </p><p> .....the crowd is solidly behind Stone Cold in this one, there really is do doubt as to who the number one face in the company is, and despite Mr. McMahon's dislike of the Rattlesnake the arena explodes when that glass shatters and Austin walks the aisle.... </p><p> </p><p> .....the match itself was always going to be more of a fight than a wrestling match, but it was a damn good fight, and certainly one of the best contests on the card as Austin is straight on the attack the second the bell rings, hammering the Big Red Monster with right hand after right hand that snaps Kane's head to the side with each blow.....it doesn't put the Monster down however, and Stone Cold's flurry of fists is answered with a single blow by Kane that knocks the Rattlesnake on his ass......</p><p> </p><p> .....if McMahon wanted to see Steve Austin punished then he must have been relishing watching this one in the back, because for every ten blows delivered by Austin that DIDN'T put his opponent down, Kane answered with a single blow that left the Rattlesnake laying, leaving the commentary team to question exactly what in the hell Steve Austin was going to do to get the victory here, win Rude quipping that Austin doesn't need to worry about getting the victory, he needs to worry about surviving the Big Red Monster.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the action spills to the outside, where Stone Cold has marginally more luck in weakening the beast....even pushing the official to his limit as he chokes the life out of Kane with an electrical cable.....he goes so far as to attempt a piledriver right out there on the floor, but Kane is too big and winds up reversing out of it with a backdrop that leaves Austin laying.....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> McMahon decides he wants to get a better view of the destruction of the Rattlesnake, making his way out from the back with a large security guard on either side of him.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Kane tosses Stone Cold back into the ring and continues to beat down his opponent, with Vince shouting words of encouragement the whole way.....eventually the pair find themselves back on the outside, where Kane looks to send Austin into the steel steps....Austin reverses it however, changing his trajectory so that instead of crashing into the steel steps Kane collides with the two security guards.....</p><p> </p><p> ......McMahon looks at Kane (who is down) and his security detail (also down) then looks up at Austin (who is most certainly NOT down) before letting out a very worried looking gulp.....and diving into the ring out of harms way.....</p><p> </p><p> ......except it's not out of harms way.....because Austin follows him right back inside, where he proceeds in beating the holy hell out of the boss....</p><p> </p><p> ......Kane pulls himself back to his feet and re-enters the ring, where he charges at Austin.....Stone Cold sees him coming however and swings McMahon into the monsters path, leading to the owner of the WWF eating a huge clothesline from his own Problem Solver......Kane stares down at his boss for a second, before turning back to face Austin......</p><p> </p><p> .....who kicks him in the gut and nails him with a Stone Cold Stunner.....</p><p> </p><p> .....it doesn't take the Monster off his feet however....and Kane is still standing.....he's groggy....he's swaying....but he's still on his feet......so Austin simply flips him the double bird.....</p><p> </p><p> ......and Stuns him again.....</p><p> </p><p> .....that Title match.....and unlike last months meeting between these two teams, this one IS actually a championship match....Jim Ross informs us that we were scheduled to go over to Michael Cole to get some pre-match comments from our challengers, but Al Snow of all people refused the interview time, stating that he and Candido needed to prepare for this contest.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the two teams make their way out, and Snow does look oddly focused.....there is no Al-Vatar mask in sight, and sure, while he still has Head with him, he's not arguing with her as he often is.....even Candido doesn't seem to be overly concerned by the presence of Sunny, both men know what they have to do, and that's all they're thinking about.....</p><p> </p><p> .....these two teams have come a long way in a short length of time....in fact neither of these teams even made it onto the main show at Wrestlemania, instead they were relegated to the pre-show, and for Snow and Candido it was their first night as a team, two men that "creative had nothing for" just thrown together for the sake of getting them somewhere on the card....sometimes though, these thrown together teams can surprise you.....Al Snow on his own only has Head to bounce off (and that could get real old, real quick) while Candido is not what you would call the most charismatic character on the roster.....together though they really compliment each other......much like (ironically enough) our current champions, the New Age Outlaws.....where The Road Dogg's natural charisma is emphasised by Billy Gunn's popularity.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the Champions may not have been taking Snow and Candido particularly seriously last month and that wound up biting them in the ass as this "funny little team" wound up defeating them....luckily for the Outlaws (and unbeknown to everyone else) the title weren't on the line that night....tonight they are, and the Outlaws aren't playing games....Snow and Candido get the initial flurry of offence, but it's not long before Gunn and James do what they do best....cheat to get the advantage.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Snow is the recipient of the heels period of offence, before he finally tags out to his partner and Candido goes on a tear....Snow gets back into the action, and it's not long until the official has lost all semblance of control, as this one breaks down into a brawl.....</p><p> </p><p> ......the Outlaws have stolen a victory on more than one occasion during their reign, and they look to do that again here tonight, with the Road Dogg snatching up Head from ringside and looking to wallop Snow in the back of the skull......which is when Sunny slides into the ring.....and with the official focusing on Candido and Gunn, she reaches up and snatches Head from the hands of the Road Dogg.....Jesse James turns and yells at Sunny to get the hell out of there....and she does....letting out a little squeal as she goes.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the Road Dogg turns back to continue his assault of Al Snow....except Al Snow is waiting.....and he scoops up the Road Dogg, before driving him into the mat with the Snow Plow.....and three seconds later, face "The Deity of the Damned" Raven....and to say that there is some Badd Blood between these two would be an understatement....as what was originally a redemption story rapidly took a very dark turn...and what started alive with good intentions, ended with the brutal assault (and crucifixion) of Jake Roberts priest....and it's that very same priest that we have a shot of now, sat front row as Jim Ross informs us that he is an invited guest of the World Wrestling Federation tonight, a small apology from everyone here at the WWF for Raven's action.....</p><p> </p><p> .....much like our earlier Horsemen/Horsemen bout, this match far exceeded my expectations....sure both men are fantastic talkers, there is no question about that, but in terms of physical condition Jake Roberts is 42 years old, at LEAST five years past his prime, and that's without the added strain that years of drink and drug abuse have added to his body....even with those mitigating factors, coupled with the fact that this only went a little over 15 minutes, this match was still very, very good......but then this wouldn't be the first time that Raven has surprised with the quality of his matches, having had previous near five star matches with opponents as opposite on the spectrum as The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Jake promised that he would show his one time protégé no mercy here tonight, and as the bell rings it looks as though he's a man of his word....both men come face to face for a moment in a tense scene, before a cocky smirk breaks out on the face of Raven, and Jake Roberts punches him square in the jaw....A fist fight breaks out, with The Snake getting the better of the exchange......Raven is finally able to get free, but Jake catches hold of his opponent again and sends him into the ropes with an Irish whip, followed up a back elbow....short clothesline by Jake, who indicates that he's finishing this one early as he tries to hook on the DDT......</p><p> </p><p> .....Raven has adopted that move as his own however, and he's able to wriggle free from Roberts grip, rolling to the outside where he taunts the Snake with that now signature "crucifix" pose....Jake follows his rival to the outside, but Raven was clearly banking on that, driving Jake back first into the ring apron, before whipping him into the steel ring steps.....Jake is slow to his feet, and Raven drops to his knees in front of him, arms outstretched, asking him where his God is now, before laughing and quickly rolling the Snake back into the ring.....</p><p> </p><p> ........the two men begin trade fists, an exchange that the fired up Roberts gets the better of, only for Raven to reverse an Irish Whip attempt, sending Jake hard into the corner, then following that up with a running clothesline as the impact from the turnbuckles sends The Snake staggers forward......a suplex attempt by Raven is countered by Jake, with the counter-suplex attempt blocked by Raven, who quickly repositions Jake into a DDT grip....much like the earlier attempt however, now it's Jake that wriggles free....he goes for an Irish Whip, but Raven reverses that and on the rebound he sidesteps the Snake, using his own momentum to send him crashing through the middle ropes to the floor.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Raven follows him out with a Double Axhandle off the apron to the floor, before dragging the Snake to his feet and driving him spine first into the ring post.....Raven rolls in and out of the ring again to break up the count, before delivering a series of bruising kicks to the midsection of the Snake, before once again dragging him to his feet and getting him into position for the Evenflow DDT right out there on the concrete.....luckily for Jake he's able to drive Raven back first into the guardrail to escape, before whipping the man with such force into the adjacent guardrail that Raven is very nearly upside down when his back hits the steel, landing on the concrete floor right in front of Jake's priest..........</p><p> </p><p> .....Jake promised no mercy would be had in this match, and he looks true to his word as he drops to his knees, clutching Raven by the hair and repeatedly slamming the back of his head against the same steel guardrail that he's slumped against.....you'd think that would upset the former leader of the Flock, but apparently not....because after shaking off the cobwebs, Raven begins to laugh, telling his opponent to do it again.....split his skull.....spill his life blood......BE the darkness inside him.........release the Black Hearted Snake that he's always been........and prove Raven right......people never change, and no one and nothing in this world is worth saving......</p><p> </p><p> ......Jake looks up, and he's staring into the face of forgiveness......of redemption.....he's staring in the face of his priest (and friend) who tells Roberts that he doesn't have to do this.....he's not that man anymore......Raven disagrees however......kicking a chair over to the Snake, before getting himself up to his knees, outstretching his arms and telling Jake to do it.....he says that this priest doesn't know Jake.....these people don't know Jake.....Raven knows Jake......do it.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Jake picks the chair up, but he looks conflicted....he clearly wants to take Raven's head off, but his priest is screaming at him not to do it......to turn the other cheek......to be the better man.....Raven screams as well....that Jake is not a better man.....Jake is as dark and twisted as he's ever been........do it........do it for these people.........do it for your friend...........do it for your priest (and with that Raven turns and pie faces the man of the cloth, shoving him back down to his seat, before turning back to Jake......screaming at him to do it).......<em>"DO IT!"</em>.....and as he watches the man of God get shoved down, "It" is exactly what he does, as he brings the steel chair down hard over the head of Raven......</p><p> </p><p> .....and THAT......is a disqualification folks.....and while this match is over......this war...... war may just have begun.........</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Raven (via Disqualification)</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote (steel chair still in hand) and tosses him back inside the ring.....he slides in after him and crashes the chair across the back of Raven, before throwing it down on the mat, dropping down beside the man, wrapping his hands around his throat, and proceeding to choke the life out of him.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Raven may be struggling to breathe, but he has a look of almost euphoria on his face as the Snake chokes him, this is exactly what he wanted after all, to de-rail Jakes journey to redemption by proving without a shadow of a doubt that Jake Roberts is not a "good" man....and as Raven begins to turn blue, and the official fails to drag the Snake off him, he may well be proved right.......</p><p> </p><p> .....that's when the priest has seen enough.....and he climbs overs the guard rail and into the ring, where he places a hand on Roberts shoulder.....the camera picks up his words as he tells Jake not to do this.....he says he's not this man anymore......not the man that disrupted the wedding reception of Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth.....not the man who set his King Cobra on the Ultimate Warrior......on Randy Savage.....not the man that slapped Elizabeth live on Pay Per View......not the man that DDT'd Paul Bearer on the set of the funeral parlour, trapped The Undertakers hand in a casket and then proceeded to punish him with vicious chair shots......Jake is NOT that man anymore......he's been reborn......and he doesn't have to do this.....not in the priest's name.....do as the bible advises.....turn the other cheek.......</p><p> </p><p> .....finally Jake relents, releasing his grip on Raven (who lets out a loud gasp as he tries to replace the depleted oxygen in his lungs) and dropping his head in shame.....he turns to the priest to apologise, saying that he wanted to do it.....he wanted to make Raven suffer.....he wanted to let the old Jake out, before asking the priest if he's beyond redemption? The priest says no.....he stopped.....he wanted to do it, but he didn't.....NO ONE is beyond redemption.....</p><p> </p><p> ......that's when Raven smashes the steel chair across the back of the distracted Snake......before turning to face the nervous looking priest with a sick looking smile on his face.......</p><p> </p><p> ......he asks the man if he believes that?....does he truly believe that no one is beyond redemption?.....the priest swallows nervously, but tells Raven that yes......he believes that.....that through faith.....through prayer.....through forgiveness.....ANYONE can be saved.....before telling Raven that he came here tonight to tell him <em>"that I forgive you"</em>....</p><p> </p><p> .....that probably wasn't the wisest thing to say to Raven, who frankly looks furious, grabbing the man by the shirt and screaming in his face that neither wants, nor needs his forgiveness.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Jake climbs back to his feet and makes a move to drag Raven away, but Raven spins around, arm across the throat of the priest using him as a human shield.....he tells Roberts that this man....that his false idols.....it makes him weak.....it makes him lesser than his whole, because he's holding back.....he's repressing his true self, blind to the fact that he's not on a road of redemption at all, but a road of deceit......he says that he can't see it.....he's too blinded by false hopes and false promises.......and if this priest is going to blind Jake to the truth......maybe Raven should return the favour.......</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....what is it that your bible says?.....an eye for an eye?......"</em></p><p> </p><p> .......and with that Raven reaches up with his free hand and digs his thumb right into the eye of the priest, who screams out in agony before dropping to the mat and writhing in pain as he clutches at his face......</p><p> </p><p> ......Jake drops down to his knees beside the priest as Raven stands there laughing.....as Jim Ross apologises for what we have just witnessed, stating that once again Raven has crossed a line, before telling us that he's received word in his ear that in the interest of good taste (bit late for that Jimbo) we are going to cut away from this despicable scene and head to the back, as medical personnel attend to the screaming priest, as Jake Roberts looks on....a broken man.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="vdHQozJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vdHQozJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="v77HdBv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/v77HdBv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="0vJMbV1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0vJMbV1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> And we do go to the back.....where Michael Cole is alongside Jim Cornette and the WWF Champion Ahmed Johnson.....Cole first apologises again for what we have just watched, with even Cornette calling Raven a sick puppy, before getting straight into his tirade......</p><p> </p><p> .....he says that we've heard from Bret Hart.....we've heard from Kevin Nash.....but you've saved the best for last, because now you get to hear from James E. that is the premier Hell in a Cell match looming on the horizon, I thought we could make an exception tonight.....and frankly, it was a good thing that we didn't have this match on last, because it did not go to plan at all, and frankly was one of the worst WWF Title matches in quite some time......and I can't even blame the competitors.....Kevin Nash and Ahmed Johnson, while not the worlds greatest wrestlers, managed to put on a good showing at Ground Zero......Bret Hart and Ahmed Johnson had a great match on Raw......there was no reason to think that the Hitman wouldn't continue his trend of carrying even mediocre workers to a good match......</p><p> </p><p> ......except somewhere along the way, Kevin Nash attempted to get Ahmed Johnson up in a Jacknife attempt.....an attempt that Ahmed was supposed to wriggle out of.....but either he landed funny, or Nash dropped him awkwardly.....either way he turned his ankle on the landing, and it effected the entire match......</p><p> </p><p> ......Ahmed has been known for being somewhat injury prone, but in close to two years now he's been completely healthy, so this was a huge blow....in fact, at first when he landed it looked like we would have to call an audible and remove him from the match, but being the WWF Champion must have toughened him up a little bit, because he was able to finish the match, even if he did do it at half pace.....</p><p> </p><p> .....it wouldn't be until after the match that we would learn the full extent of his injury....ankle tendonitis.....almost the same injury that has plagued Scott Hall (who has Achilles tendonitis) for close to a year and a half now.....Ahmed won't need surgery, and he will be able to work through the injury....but it's an injury that's going to take fifteen months to fully heal.....and while Scott Hall has managed to put on some fantastic performances throughout his injury period (look at this evening for example) Ahmed Johnson ain't Scott shocked looking Ahmed Johnson......</p><p> </p><p> .....we haven't seen the Deadman since the King of the Ring back in June of this year....the same night that Ahmed Johnson was not only crowned King and number one contender to the WWF Championship, but the night that Ahmed Johnson crushed the larynx of the Undertaker, putting him on the shelf for four months.....well he's back.......and he looks madder than ever......</p><p> </p><p> .....Jim Ross says that there may not be a man walking the face of the earth that can't defeat Ahmed Johnson, but the Undertaker is no man.....he's a phenom.....and you can be damn sure that he's out for revenge.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Ahmed Johnson's eyes almost bulge out of their head as he sees the man he once thought he had vanquished standing right in front of him.....but not not as much as they bulge when the Deadman snaps his arm forward, locks his hand around the throat of the WWF Champion, and lifts him high into the air, driving him hard into the mat with a hellacious Chokeslam.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Jim Cornette quickly grabs Ahmed by the arm and drags him to the outside away from the Deadman, as the Undertaker retrieves the WWF Championship from the mat and drops down to one knee holding the title overhead as the crowd cheers and we go to an extended recap video, highlighting the history between Brian Pillman and Mankind......because our Hell in a Cell match......is next.....</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A*</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote ....and it was an extended recap video for two reasons.....one, it gave the crowd a chance to calm down after the resurfacing of the Undertaker.....and two, well, the ring crew needed some time to ready the ominous structure that's been hovering over the ring all night.....but we're back.....the cell is lowered.....and we are ready for Mankind and Brian Pillman to enter the mouth of Hell......</p><p> </p><p> ......it's not until the Cell door is locked, and the bell rings, that Brian Pillman realises the full magnitude of the situation he finds himself in.....he has dominated in consecutive matches against Mick Foley's alter ego Dude Love, but this isn't Dude Love.....this is the Deranged One, Mankind.....and while Pillman has been able to run, hide, and escape from the clutches of Mankind in recent weeks, there will be no running here....no hiding....and certainly no escape....a fact emphasised the second the match starts, because Pillman runs for the door of the Cell, rattling frantically at it.....but the door doesn't give.....and it still doesn't give when Mankind follows him out and drives Pillman's head into it a series of times....and this one is underway.....</p><p> </p><p> .....they're starting on the floor, and they're starting with Mankind hammering Pillman with blows to the head as he is backed up against the Cell door.....Pillman cuts him off with a knee to the guts and whips Mankind into the wall of the Cell, but Mankind rebounds straight off and drops Pillman to the floor with a spinning neckbreaker......the Corporate Cannon tries to head back into the ring, but Mankind drags him back under the bottom rope by his ankles to the floor, where he whips him into the ring steps and bounces his head off the ring post, before tossing him unceremoniously into the ring......Mankind reaches under the apron and pulls out a steel chair.....then follows the already overwhelmed Brian Pillman into the ring, where he bangs the chair on the mat a number of times (much the same way that Shawn Michaels would set up the Sweet Chin Music) as he waits for Pillman to stand up and turn around.....and when he does Mankind nails him right between the eyes......Mankind makes the cover.....and could probably have got the three count, but he pulls his opponents shoulder up off the mat before the official can register the final count.....clearly he's not ready to stop the carnage just yet.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Pillman rolls to the floor to catch a breather.....Mankind follows.....and Pillman does manage a brief respite, catching his opponent with a knee lift, before hitting a series of punches to the head, a kick to the gut....and then positions him for a Piledriver attempt.....unfortunately Mankind reverses it, backdropping Pillman into the wall of the Cell.....Mankind is totally dominating his opponent here....this is certainly not the Dude Love that Pillman is used to facing.....he grates the Corporate Cannon's face down the wall of the Cell, before whipping him hard into the steel steps, followed up by the patented running knee strike that crashes the back of Pillman's head against the steel......Bang! Bang!......</p><p> </p><p> ......Mankind rolls the Cannon back inside, before reaching under the ring....he rummages about for a little bit, until he finally finds what he's looking for......a barbed wire 2x4!......and the crowd pops huge for that.....</p><p> </p><p> .....he slides back into the ring and stalks Pillman, who begs off Ric Flair style.....Mankind isn't in the mood for begging however, and he continues to advance on his opponent with the weapon raised....he telegraphed the move for too long however, and Pillman was able to cut him off with a punch to the gut....he tries to wrestle the 2x4 from Mankind, but all he ends up doing is hurting his own hands on the barbs, allowing the Deranged One to drive the weapon into his midsection (doubling him over) nail him across the back (driving him down to the mat) and as Pillman shuffles backwards along the canvas begging off, Mankind nails him right in the balls with the barbed wire plank.......</p><p> </p><p> .....Jim Ross remarks that this has been all Mankind....from the second the bell rang he has totally dominated Brian Pillman....Rick Rude says that the official needs to get that 2x4 out of the hands of Mankind before he does permanent damage, but as the King points out, there's nothing the referee can do here....it's all legal....</p><p> </p><p> ......Brian Pillman struggles back to his feet....but he's only standing for a moment, because Mankind runs straight through him, driving that barbed wire right between his eyes, before finally tossing the weapon down and heading to the outside....Mankind rummages under the ring and pulls out two steel chairs and a wooden table, the table he sets up on the floor, while the chairs get thrown into the ring, and as Mankind rolls back in under the bottom rope, we get a shot of Brian Pillman.....and he is bleeding like a stuck pig from that shot to the head.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Pillman staggers around the ring, leaving a trail of blood as he goes, before finally tripping and stumbling through the ropes, landing on the outside....Mankind follows him out and charges the Corporate Cannon, who in a last ditch effort to save his own skin (life?) catches Mankind with a hip toss, which leaves the masked one to crash land right on top of the steel ring steps.....Pillman seizes the opportunity, and wipes the blood from his eyes as he snatches up one of the discarded chair's, smashing it against the knees of Mankind....dropping to his own knees for a moment to gather his strength, the Cannon pulls himself back to his feet using the wall of the Cell, before pulling Mankind up....he grabs his opponent by the hair, using both hands to grind the (minimal amount of) exposed flesh of his skull against the cell wall, before turning and whipping Mankind into the ring steps knee first, which Foley sells tremendously, taking the bump by flipping right over the steps, landing on his back in a heap up against the wall of the cell......</p><p> </p><p> .....this is the first period of offence that Pillman has really enjoyed, because Mankind has completely dominated the match so far, but even this is fleeting, because as Brian tried to pull his opponent back to his feet, Mankind tackles him and drives him spine first into the apron.....Pillman tries to bolt for the door again, but it's not budging, and in desperation he runs around the ring (with Foley in pursuit) sliding under the bottom rope in an effort to escape....Mankind is slower to re-enter the ring, pulling himself up onto the apron....and is about to step between the ropes when Pillman charges at him and drives a shoulder into him, sending Mankind flying from the apron, where he crashes into the wall of the cell, bounces off that, and smashes through the table that he himself set up at ringside earlier.......</p><p> </p><p> .....Pillman may finally have the upper hand, but he doesn't care.....he's had enough, and he frantically signals to the back.......</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="vQXHiy2.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vQXHiy2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....and the pyro explodes as the Big Red Monster makes his way out from the back.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Mankind slowly starts pulling himself up from the wreckage of the shattered table, and Pillman starts urgently rattling on the door of the cell, screaming at Kane to hurry up....</p><p> </p><p> .....he doesn't hurry, but he does get there.....and in an impressive display of strength, he grips the frame of the door with both hands and tears it completely off it's hinges.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Pillman rushes through, barging Kane to one side and collapsing on the floor, shouting at The Big Red Problem Solver to get in there....Kane steps into the Cell, and goes towards Mankind....who swings a steel chair straight at his skull.....he strikes the Monster one, two.....three times.....and Kane is swaying......one more huge blow and Mankind has solved his own problem, because Kane falls like a big redwood.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Mankind steps over Kane and through the cell door.....and Brian Pillman looks like he's seen a ghost.....he tries to bolt up the aisle, but Mankind gets there first, blocking his path.....he looks back at the door of the cell, and heading back inside there doesn't seem like such a good idea.......and then he looks up.....backs up......turns......and heads up......</p><p> </p><p> .....the commentators can't believe that Pillman is scaling the side of the cell.....and the crowd erupts when Mankind follows suit....and a few moments later Brian Pillman and Mankind have gone from being locked inside Hell in a Cell, to being sixteen feet up above it.....</p><p> </p><p> .....the two men stagger on the unstable roof of this caged structure....Pillman tries to escape down the other side, but Mankind catches him by the tights....and for a heart stopping moment that's all that's stopping Brian Pillman from plummeting sixteen feet down below....all Mankind would have to do is let go of the tights, and Pillman would be nothing more than a stain on the arena floor....fortunately for Pillman he doesn't....he has other ideas.....and he drags the Corporate Cannon back to the middle of the Cell.....holds his hand high in the air.....and shoves those leather clad fingers into the gullet of Brian Pillman.....it's the Mandible Claw!......</p><p> </p><p> .....Pillman struggles.....and struggles.....and he's punching at the head of Mankind.....he's kicking at the knees of Mankind......Mankind isn't letting go though.....and as the blood flows down Pillman's face.....and the spittle flows from his mouth.....Mankind uses his momentum to take Pillman off his feet, and with the Mandible Claw still applied, drives him down to the roof of the Cell.....</p><p> </p><p> .....which gives way.....</p><p> </p><p> .....breaks.....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> .....and both men plummet through the caged roof, sixteen feet down to the canvas below with an almighty crash.....</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <em>".....GOOD GOD....GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY.....AS GOD IS MY WITNESS, THESE TWO MEN ARE BROKEN IN HALF....."</em></p><p> </p><p> ......both men may well be broken in half.....Mankind is flat on his back, unconscious....Brian Pillman is face down, unconscious......</p><p> </p><p> .....except.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Pillman has landed with one arm barely draped across the chest of Mankind.....</p><p> </p><p> .....and the official has seen enough....he's seen a way to end this and he's taking it, as he drops down to the mat and counts one........two.........and three.........</p><p> </p><p> ......mercifully this one is over......and Brian Pillman has no idea that he's just defied the odds, to defeat Mankind, inside of Hell.....in a Cell.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Brian Pillman</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> A</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" Mr. McMahon, Ric Flair, and Arn Anderson....as the entire Corporate Cabinet make their way out to check on Brian Pillman.....not Mankind, they could care less about him.....but they want to make sure that the Corporate Cannon is still breathing......</p><p> </p><p> .....Jim Ross is still in shock at what he's just witnessed, saying that Mankind just spent close to thirty minutes absolutely decimating the Corporate Cannon Brian Pillman.....he says that Mankind could have won this match on any number of occasion.....instead, he's laid there broken in half, and his boss couldn't give a damn......Rick Rude is less sympathetic than his announce partner.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>"....coulda, woulda, shoulda, Jim Ross.....the fact of the matter is Brian Pillman's name will go on the win <p>Heck (In a Seck) of a show there, to4sty! That sneaky Pillman does it again! Why do I have the feeling that we're getting Austin/Pillman at Mania for the gold...</p><p> </p><p>

Dug Raven/Snake man as well. Raven's Rules at Survivor Series?</p><p> </p><p>

That Ahmed injury is a killer. You can still protect him by having his feuds mostly be angles, but doesn't help a guy who is a bit lost in the stable shuffle right now. I didn't think he'd hold the belt for much longer - even before the injury - but maybe a switch comes sooner than later?</p><p> </p><p>

<p>Really good job with Badd Blood, man! Pillman is really looking like a big time contender after that, and I wonder if and when the trigger will get pulled on him. Perhaps instead of the Austin Era starting at this WrestleMania, we will see the Loose Cannon Era instead? Hmmm... Not surprised at Ahmed hurting himself too, that guy really did have some of the worst luck in the business when it came to staying healthy. And oh yeah don't think I won't mention my boy Hall! Huge win for him that hopefully lets him get some shine in the Wolfpac. Finally, I have to give a big shout out to the Raven and Roberts match. Though with Raven being involved, and since the priest has actually come into play, I'm waiting on him to have been played by Stevie Richards all along and he's gonna turn on Jake at the Survivor Series. Hopefully I haven't given something away that you'd planned for, but if not, feel free to use that one!</p><p> </p><p>

Until you get back, have fun on vacation with the to4sts!</p><p> </p><p>

at the top of the ramp instead of making their way down to the ring.....</p><p> </p><p> .....James E. has a microphone in hand, and he's not afraid to use it, telling the Undertaker that he should just turn himself around, go back to the graveyard, and bury himself back under whatever tombstone he crawled out from under.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....see, this isn't your run of the mill Champion faced and beat.....see that's the difference between an Ahmed Johnson and an Undertaker....because while you were off walking the beaches of Transylvania and howling at the moon on vacation for four months, Ahmed Johnson was out here kicking ass, taking names.....and adding them to his list of victims.....</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> ......now you don't have to like the facts, but facts are src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Two weeks ago Matt Hardy was flying high as the European Champion, and one of the most defending Champions that the WWF had seen in quite some time....unfortunately all that came to a screeching half and the hands of Jeff Jarrett.......and indirectly, Ken Shamrock......because while the World's Most Dangerous Man's temper has cost him his fair share of victories, now it has transcended into costing other people victories as well, and it was Matt Hardy that payed the price for his latest outburst.....</p><p> </p><p> .....now while this match isn't a number one contenders match per say, both Hardy and Shamrock have agreed that should they lose this match, then they will step aside and let the other man focus on Jeff Jarrett and the European Championship, so naturally this was pretty heated....not to mention the fact that Hardy is (understandably) ticked at his opponent for costing him the title in the first place....</p><p> </p><p> .....his brother making the move down south has actually done wonders for the career of the elder Hardy....in fact, if Jeff Hardy can be classed (auto push) as an Upper Midcarder down in Turner's Titan Territory, then it's safe to say that should Matt Hardy ever decide to make the jump to WCW, he would be jumping straight into a Main Event spot.....of course, that's WCW.....here in the WWF he's still a longgggg way away from being classed as a main event talent, but his run with the European Championship certainly moved him a long way up the card, so it's only natural that he wants the gold back......unfortunately he's going to have to step aside and watch Ken Shamrock attempt to capture the coveted championship, because after a very close fought contest Shamrock was able to catch hold of Hardy's foot, spin him over into the ankle lock, and despite a valiant effort to get to the ropes, the former European Champion finally had little choice but to concede the match....and concede his efforts (for now) at regaining the gold.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Ken Shamrock</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> Champion?.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....because boys, I hate to break it to you.....but Jeff Jarrett is the Champion.....Jeff Jarrett has the backing of one of the biggest corporations in the the stroke when it comes to deciding who has the privilege of facing him for the WWF European Championship......"</em></p><p> </p><p> ......DiBiase breaks out into his trademark cackle as he passes the microphone to Jarrett....and Double J reiterates what his manager just said, telling Hardy and Shamrock that as far as HE is concerned, neither one of them deserves a shot at devaluing this prestigious title....a title that's stock has risen exponentially in the short time it's been around his waist.....so for the time being, neither Matt Hardy OR Ken Shamrock will be getting an opportunity to challenge for the European Title.......BUT.......if they really want old Double J that badly, then all they have to do is go out and find two partners.....because the Million Dollar Corporation will happily slap them about some more at Survivor Series.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Shamrock calls Jarrett a coward, telling him that he knows damn well that if he stepped into the ring with him, not only would the Title be leaving with Ken, but Jarrett would find out exactly why they call him the Worlds Most Dangerous Man, when he snapped his ankle in about three places......Shamrock says that he WILL get a shot at that title one way or another, but for now, he will happily kick all four of their asses at Survivor Series......Matt Hardy agrees.....and just like that, we have our second official match for the eleventh annual Survivor Series event.....the Million Dollar Corporation against Ken Shamrock, Matt Hardy, and......well.....that's it at the moment......but I'm sure they'll find some team mates in the coming weeks.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote medical practitioner to one side he quietly tells the Snake that the prognosis isn't looking good.....and as he angrily hurls a chair across the room and storms off (presumably looking for Raven) the in his quest to bring out the good in Raven.....and a man instrumental in bringing Raven into the WWF in the first place, Bill DeMott.....young William has been a little bit of a lost soul since his forcible departure from the Flock, being the only member that wasn't looking for a way out he's not really known what to do with himself since his new found freedom.....so maybe facing the man who had a hand in his exile is the perfect place to kickstart his career......</p><p> </p><p> .....it wasn't.....</p><p> </p><p> ....Jake was in no mood to play, and he utterly dismantles the bigger man, with Jim Ross suggesting that with every blow to the jaw landed, that's it's not Bill DeMott's face that the Snake Man is seeing, but the features of "The Deity of the Damned", Raven looking back at him.....and based on this performance, if that really is the case, Raven has a whole world of hurt waiting for him when Roberts finally gets his hands on him....mercifully for DeMott, this one is over relatively quickly, with Jake finally putting him away with the DDT for the one, two, three.....</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> Jake Roberts</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> the way) before opening up the top of that sack that he carries to the ring with him, and unleashing "Revalations".....Revelations being his damn near seven foot long albino python.....and when DeMott finally sees the reptile slithering towards him, he's gone like a bat out of hell, leaving Jake alone with his microphone and his snake....which to be fair, is probably just the way he likes it......</p><p> </p><p> .....Jake says that last night, Raven crossed a line that no man should cross....a line of decency....a line of basic humanity.....and a line of respect......Jake says that Raven is too deep in the dark for salvation.....He says that he could have saved him, but in order to save someone you have to actually want to be saved....Raven, he just wants chaos....anarchy....martial law....</p><p> </p><p> ....he says that Raven takes Jake's beliefs and belittles them as something less....something insignificant...because they don't align with his warped view of society and humanity.....but beliefs and faith are the very things that define us as a civilisation...the very thing that separates us from animals....ALL beliefs....even Raven's twisted view of the world is a part of the fabric of humanity....Raven believes that the world is fundamentally flawed....that society is failing....that this so called "Deity of the Damned" is the only one that can see the world for what it really is....</p><p> </p><p> <em>"....except you're wrong....and while I accept your right to believe that, what I do NOT accept, is you taking an innocent the Lord grew disappointed in the decisions of HIS creations, sending a Flood to purge the earth of their existence, I grow weary of yours.....the cleansing waves are coming for you, and there will be no Ark for you to continue your journey......and all that will remain will be the rotting and bloated remains of my FINAL disciple, drowned in a sea of blasphemy and desecration........Trust warming up to the bubbly blonde after she quite clearly had a hand in them capturing the titles to begin with......</p><p> </p><p> ....Dok first of all congratulates the pair, saying that after months of trying, topped off with back to back Pay Per View victories over the New Age Outlaws, it must feel good to finally hold those titles......Candido agrees, saying that this moment right here makes the last six months worth it....all the irritation....the embarrassment.....the constant talking from Al Snow in his ear <em>("seriously Dok....he doesn't shut up")</em> even having to put up with the presence of Sunny <em>("because believe me, I'd still prefer to have Head on my side that her")</em> it all just disappears into the background.....because FINALLY, Chris Candido can call himself....Champion.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Dok says that may all be the case, but the now former champions, Billy Gunn and Jesse James have demanded (and been granted) their rematch tonight....telling Al Snow that he has no time to savour the moment, because with those title belts comes a huge bullseye on their backs, and the New Age Outlaws are taking aim.....</p><p> </p><p> is on the line again tonight.....the new champions are understandably happy after finally capturing the tag team titles after months of trying, and the crowd is happy for them too....Snow and Candido are actually one of the hottest teams going right now (both men are more over than ever, Candido especially has never been this hot before) and they are certainly deserving of holding the top prize in tag team competition.....</p><p> </p><p> .....in face, the only team that's probably hotter than them right now are the former champions, with Gunn and James arguably being THE number one team in the WWF right now, and are pretty much the blueprint for the team of Snow and Candido, (two guys thrown together, one can talk, one can work) which makes it especially satisfying when you think that neither pairing has been teaming that long.....</p><p> </p><p> .....this match was a great TV match, with lots of back and forth action as the two top teams tussled for the top prize....and finally winning the gold obviously did wonders for the Champions, because both Al and Chris out performed their opponents tonight....Snow got to play the face in peril as the Outlaws worked him over, until he finally made the hot tag to Candido, and chaos ensued as the action spilled out to the floor with all four men going at it......</p><p> </p><p> .....Candido and Gunn wind up the legal men inside the ring, while Snow and James manage to inadvertently draw the attention of the official away on the outside.....that leaves Sunny free to pick up Head.....roll into the ring.....</p><p> </p><p> .....and kick Chris Candido right in the balls.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Candido doubles over as Sunny tosses Head to Gunn, who in turn crashes it across the back of Candido's skull.....and three seconds later Steve Austin will NOT be granted a shot at the WWF Title.....ever......</p><p> </p><p> .....Stone Cold doesn't like that.....he DOES like the prospect of beating McMahons ass on route to getting a Hogan....</p><p> </p><p> ....the pair make their way down the aisle, but it's a stark contrast to the usual cocky swagger that Hogan possesses....in fact, he looks deadly serious....and as he climbs into the ring there is no pomp and circumstances, simply Russo with a microphone as Hogan paces behind him....</p><p> </p><p> .....Russo quickly disregards the jeering crowd, telling the monkeys in the back to put down their peanuts, do their job.....and play the footage that he gave them, before indicating to the big Turnertron at the top of the entrance ramp.....</p><p> </p><p> .....it takes a moment but the screen finally flickers into life to show the chaotic ending to last weeks show.....specifically the shot of Jean Paul Levesque laying out Hollywood with a steel chair......then the same shot again, except at a slower speed......and again, slower still.....and on this viewing we clearly see not only Chris Benoit move out of the way of Levesque's attack, but Levesque seeing that he has moved, hesitating briefly......and then nailing Hogan with the chair regardless.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Russo says that it's fairly clear to see that while Hollywood (being the magnanimous individual that he is) was willing to forgive and forget an accidental chair shot between friends, it looks to Vince Russo that there was NOTHING accidental about that shot......Hogan grabs the microphone there, telling Levesque to get his ass out here......he's left the other Titans in the back, it's time the two of them had a little man to man seeing.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....I mean, I know that the eyes are the first things to go as you get older, but that was clearly an accident......"</em></p><p> </p><p> ....Hogan either doesn't hear, or chooses to ignore the age dig, telling Levesque that the way he sees it, what happened last week was Jean Paul seeing an opportunity to try and weaken the WCW Champion ahead of Halloween Havoc and taking that opportunity in both hands.....</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....what it looked like to me brother....was that Jean Paul Levesque knew that he had no chance in hell of beating the Icon of professional wrestling, and instead or respecting the chain of command, you chose to cross a line Dude....."</em></p><p> </p><p> ......Levesque actually laughs out loud at that comment, saying that he hasn't "respected the chain of command" in a long time.....in fact, he learned from one of the best in the business that respect doesn't get you jack....you wanna get to the top in this business then you've got to buck tradition.....spit in the face of authority.............and choose your clique wisely..........Levesque says that he chose his clique here in WCW when he put on the Titan's colours...he says that he WAS a Titan of Wrestling......he IS a Titan of Wrestling......and he will STILL be a Titan of Wrestling come Sunday night, when he steps into the ring with Hollywood Hogan......</p><p> </p><p> <em>".....and as for the shot with the steel chair........was it, wasn't it.......Hollywood, I can honestly say, hand on heart......that when I wrapped that steel chair ago.......right?.....brother?......"</em></p><p> </p><p> .....now it's Hogan's time to smirk, telling Levesque that when he puts it like that, how can he not believe it.....he says that accidents happen.....clearly he was mistaken......</p><p> </p><p> .....Hogan holds out his hand, telling Levesque that somehow, just six days before their World Title match, Levesque has been booked in a match with the seven foot Giant......however, since Hollywood (rather conveniently) DOESN'T have a match tonight, he's going to be right there at ringside during that match, to make sure that nothing happens to jeopardise their mammoth Championship match at Halloween Havoc.....but more importantly, to make sure that nothing happens......to his friend......</p><p> </p><p> .....Levesque takes that extended hand, thanking him for the support, before telling him not to worry......because NOTHING.....and he does mean NOTHING.....is going to get in the way of their Halloween Havoc match.....and in ......was this a bad match?.....no.......was this a great match?....well.....also no......but it was decent enough for what it was....and what it was, was an advancement in the ongoing story between Sullivan's three man army, and the newest generation of "titan" arrivals to WCW....</p><p> </p><p> .....The Rock is going to make his WCW in ring debut at Halloween Havoc when he faces the former WCW one.....</p><p> </p><p> .....well, Bam Bam AND Vader to be precise.....because while Sullivan came out alone, he wasn't without back up for long.....and with Rikishi bouncing up and down on that second rope, looking for the Samoan Splash (Banzai Drop), the duo come rushing out from the back, and as Bigelow distracts the official, Vader climbs onto the apron and absolutely nails 'Kishi between Chris Benoit, who will be facing The Warrior and Randy Savage respectively......</p><p> </p><p> ......Gene says that while Randy Savage (never the most stable of individuals) has been keen to unleash winning by disqualification.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Benoit isn't much of a talker, preferring to let his ring work speak for him, so it's Page that continues to talk here, saying that when it comes to the Titans of Wrestling, they're like cockroaches....where one is, two more aren't far behind......but if the Titans want to interject themselves into his business so badly, he's not a hard man to Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> These two teams have fought each other more than any two teams should EVER face each other in such a short length of time.....and The Pitbulls won them all.....at least that is, until Gary Hart made his return to the promotion to guide the career of the directionless Samoan's.....since then the SST have defeated Madusa's Men in a First Blood match on Nitro, as well as a Bamboo Cane on a Pole match on WCW Saturday Night......</p><p> </p><p> ....tonight however, the 'bulls are returning to familiar grounds, as they meet their rivals in a Double Dog Collar match, in what is being billed as the final meeting between these two teams.....</p><p> </p><p> .....unlike a more traditional (singles) strap match, the object of this one is NOT to hit all four turnbuckles in succession, but rather to brutalise your opponent and pick up a pinfall (or submission) victory.....no count-outs.....no disqualifications.....no stopping the match for blood....and since each one of these men is attached to an opposing member of the other team by a steel chain, blood is a distinct possibility......</p><p> </p><p> .....this is just an all out wild brawl, and while arguably we could have perhaps had a better quality of match with a standard two on two contest, it doesn't hurt to take it to the extreme every now and then.....well.....it doesn't hurt the crowd at least.....it hurt the Pitbulls and The SST plenty......this match was originally going to blow off on Pay Per View, but a last minute run down of the Halloween Havoc card made me realise that there probably wasn't going to be room for this this to be anywhere other than the pre-show, and you don't put a Double Dog Collar match on the pre-show....because of this the teams were given a little more leeway to go out there and treat this as a Pay Per View blow off.....</p><p> </p><p> .....there was blood.....there was violence.....there was fighting in the aisles.....and there was a finish that saw Fatu hang Pitbull #2 over the top rope by the chain, while Samu climbed the turnbuckles and (under the instruction of Hart) wrap some of the loose steel chain around his hard Samoan skull.....before coming off with a devastating Flying Headbutt to pick up the one, the two, the three.....and finally put this feud to bed.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> The Samoan SWAT Team</p><p> returning with a selection of snacks for the young Titans to enjoy while watching the action.....although they spend as much time booing both teams and flicking popcorn at the competitors as much as they spend watching the fight.....</p><p> </p><p> .....eventually, following Hawk making the hot tag to Animal, the match breaks down......Animal initially takes it to both Awesome and Cain, before Hawk gets back into the fight, clotheslining Awesome over the top, before following him to the outside to continue the fight.....Animal and Cain aren't far behing, and soon it's a free for all on the outside.....a free for all that sees the Road Warriors Irish Whip both of Missy's men right into the seated Titans, sending popcorn and soda flying.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Traylor helps his team mates to their feet (actually dusting them down) before picking up the chairs, folding them up, and passing one each to Cage and Coleman, telling them that playtime is over......</p><p> </p><p> ......the younger Titans obviously agree too.....because they each give an almighty swing of the steel.....crashing the illegal objects across the back of Animal and Cain.....and you know what that means.....it's a disqualification......a double disqualification to be precise, leaving both Awesome and Hawk without partners....and the Titans of Wrestling ready to strike.....</p><p> </p><p> with Animal and Awesome still down, Hawk and Cain have to work together as the Titans strike.....unfortunately, the Totally Awesome Trinity are a well oiled cohesive unit (not bitter enemies) and there's three of them....which totally gives them the upper hand.....and there's the little matter of two steel chairs and a nightstick....which gives them a totally awesome upper hand.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Hawk is tough, we know that.....and Cain is certainly making a name for himself in recent months.....but they're seriously out gunned here, and despite an initial flurry of offence, first Gideon Cain is taken out by a nightstick shot to the back of the head, before Hawk gets dropped with a shot to the back....</p><p> </p><p> ......Awesome is back up, but a shot to the ribs with the Enforcer's nightstick doubles him over.....where Copeland and Cage swing their weapons.....it's a huge Con-Chair-To that drops Awesome motionless to the floor.....</p><p> </p><p> ......Animal is up next.....but gets a chair to the gut......and a Con-Chair-To......</p><p> </p><p> .....Cain charges the Totally Awesome Trinity.......gets a few blows in too.....before Traylor tossing him into the ring.....the three men beat on the co-holder of the WCW Tag Team Titles, before Christian finally picks the Road Warrior up.....and plants him with a spinach to Popeye.....and he pops right back up to his feet, before running through both Copeland and Cage with a double clothesline.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Traylor charges at Hawk, but the Road Warrior is "Hulked Up" to the max, and he begins unloading on The Enforcer, before finally snatching the nightstick from Traylor, brutalising him with his own weapon.....</p><p> </p><p> .....it doesn't last though.....because while Hawk is distracted, Copeland is back in with a perfect knee strike to the kidneys......a low blow......and (when joined by Cage), ANOTHER Con-Chair-To, and this one does put Hawk down....and he stays down....and the Titans of Wrestling's Totally Awesome Trinity stand tall, arms raised, just six days before Copeland and Cage challenge for the WCW Tag Team Championships.....but what condition (Tony Schiavone ponders) will Mike Awesome, Gideon Cain, and the Road Warriors be in come Halloween Havoc?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/ikXidwr.jpg"></a></p><p> </p><p> We have back to back tag team action tonight on Nitro, as our penultimate match features Curt Hennig teaming up with Jeff Hardy, to face the combination of WCW United States Champion Eddie Guerrero, and the masked man Mortis.....</p><p> </p><p> ....this is a preview of two matches that are set to take place in just six days time, when Jeff Hardy and Mortis clash once more, while Curt Hennig challenges Eddie Guerrero for the US Title.....</p><p> </p><p> ....the match tonight was decent considering none of these men are tag team competitors usually....Hennig and Hardy rather surprisingly gelled fantastically, having excellent chemistry for two men that had never teamed up before, and it was young Hardy that took the brunt of the punishment as the face in peril, with Mortis revelling in the chance to assault his rival, while Guerrero revels in the opportunity to simply be a cocky, arrogant pr!ck....he's not so cocky when Hardy makes the hot tag to Hennig though, because Curt hits the ring with purpose, tackling both his opponents head on, before finally focusing his attention on Guerrero.....</p><p> </p><p> .....Guerrero soon has enough of this, and bails to the outside where he collects his Championship, telling a nearby camera that they shouldn't be risking THE most important title holder they have here in WCW just six days before he puts the gold on the line.....and with that he simply walks out of the match, heads to the back....and leaves Mortis all alone against two men....</p><p> </p><p> .....Chris Kanyon has come a long way in a short time since adopting the Mortis character....going from enhancement talent to midcarder/upper midcarder (depending on his booking at any given week) and I don't imagine it will be long before he's cemented as a permanent upper Midcard player.....he's up against two men right now though.....and two men that have excellent chemistry as partners no less.....and eventually he's overwhelmed, and Hennig nails him with the Fisherman's Suplex.....instead of holding on for the win however Hennig releases the hold and rolls out of the way, just as Hardy comes flying off the top with the Swanton Bomb for the one, two, three.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner(s):</strong> Curt Hennig & Jeff Hardy</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> Probably not when you consider that it's Vince Russo that books the matches around here, and it's Vince Russo that worships the ground that Hollywood Hogan walks on......</p><p> </p><p> ....that being said, Hollywood is out here at ringside as promised in this one....not that Levesque looks particularly happy about him being there, but the Titans need to keep up appearances, so here he is....</p><p> </p><p> ....he actually works in Levesque's favour on a few occasions too, interfering at appropriate times to tip the scales the Titan man's way....each time he does however, Levesque is quick to (very politely) as him to back off, claiming he doesn't need any help to beat the big man....although let's be honest, there aren't going to be many in World Championship Wrestling that could best the seven foot Giant without a <em>little</em> bit of assistance.....</p><p> </p><p> ....the match wasn't fantastic, but it was more of a dog and pony show (with the storytelling surrounding Hollywood on the outside) than a match.....and the finish didn't help either.....because as the Giant crushed the life out of Levesque in the corner, then signalled that it was time for the Chokeslam, Hollywood jumped up onto the apron to attempt to distract the big man.....it worked too, because instead of Chokeslamming Levesque The Giant turned around and clocked Hogan right in the jaw with a right hand, sending him tumbling down to the floor......</p><p> </p><p> ....Giant screams down at Hogan (spraying spittle as he does) that it doesn't matter if it's Levesque who wins Sunday, or Hogan that wins Sunday.....whoever leaves Halloween Havoc as the WCW Champion, is going to have a Giant problem to deal with......then turns back to face his opponent......who kicks him in the gut.....and drops him with the Pedigree......for the one, the two..........but not the three.......</p><p> </p><p> .....not because Giant kicked out, but because Hogan is back in the ring, drags Levesque off the downed Giant.....and drops down beside the WCW man, where he starts hammering the Giant with blows (right in front of the official) clearly not happy that the Giant placed a hand on him......unfortunately, he referee is even less happy at that action, and has no choice but to disqualify Levesque, when he was less than half a second away from picking up the pinfall victory......</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Winner:</strong> The Giant (via Disqualification)</p><p> <strong>Rating:</strong> B</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="43289" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> <img alt="nG5SAtv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/nG5SAtv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="OvSsBUu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OvSsBUu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Cx2IuWn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Cx2IuWn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="0CWH5qZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0CWH5qZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="zJWRW9s.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zJWRW9s.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="598dEVe.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/598dEVe.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="QW4TkeU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/QW4TkeU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="6PMfEkU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6PMfEkU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="De9q5V9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/De9q5V9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> .....the bell rings, and the rest of the Titans of Wrestling come rushing out from the back.....someone had the audacity to lay their hands on Hollywood? <p>I'm pretty excited to see how Havoc turns out! One thing I was thinking while reading this past Nitro is that while I'm sure in-game guys like Eddy and Rock are moving up the popularity tree nicely with awesome segments like that, real life WCW unfortunately would likely never have even cared about them and the two would have stayed mired in the midcard, with Rock likely even to lose his debut match soon and Eddy to just keep spinning those wheels. </p><p> </p><p>

What can I say; as much as I love looking back on WCW, those rose tinted glasses can't protect it all the time.</p><p> </p><p>

Hollywood Hogan - <em>While this has been built up very well, I can't see JPL being the man to topple "The Hulkster". However, I do think someone will be showing up post-match to assist JPL and make a big challenge...</em></p><p>

Eddy Guerrero - <em>I love Curt, but man is Eddy just on fire here as the US champion. And since there's really nowhere upward for him to go due to a massive logjam at the peak of the summit, holding onto the title gives him a good purpose.</em></p><p>

C&C (Music Factory) - <em>The Totally Awesome Trinity bring home some gold.</em></p><p>

Warrior - <em>This could be Page's big coming-out into the main event, but I think Warrior escapes with a win so that we blow this off at Starrcade.</em></p><p>

Chris Benoit - <em>Savage gets himself DQ'd maybe? I could see this one going to Starrcade as well.</em></p><p>

No Contest - <em>If there's anywhere that Sting shows up at on this night, I think it'll be here, as he gets the two of them to hug it out and make up. Or maybe one of them heel turns, I could see Russo going that route also.</em></p><p>

The Rock</p><p>

Vader</p><p>

Jeff Hardy</p><p>

Goldberg - <em>If you're looking to make Goldberg look human against someone, it would have to be the Faces of Fear.</em></p>
