FAKE: Full Action Kombat Entertainment [C-Verse Draft]

Recommended Posts

The wrestling world had grown stale by the end of 2015. Matches on a week to week basis were similar to any other match. The business was stagnating, and attendances and dropping off. Fans grew weary of the product and began to tune out. Supreme Challenge XXXV, the biggest event in history, the event that made Pay-Per-Views a must-have for wrestling, with the main event being two of the all-time legends who managed to transcend this sport, Jack Bruce vs. Christian Faith, drew not only a buy rate so catastrophically low that the company never released it publically, but an attendance rate so low they moved the show from an 75,000 seater Rolling Fields arena to a show at the 10,000 seater Evanovich Arena.

December 2015 was the month that would for all eternity become 'the biggest event in pro wrestling history', as on Christmas Day, each and every existing promotion, in a deal organised by many of the top wrestlers and owners, would fold. A day later, it was announced that a draft would be commencing over a 4 day period by a group of nine 'mysterious' people (some sources say that it was taken from an indy game company forum dedicated to an wrestling booking game), who would draft 40 workers, including TV contracts for all who were willing to participate. Some compared it to a very similar event in 2005 within the Mexican wrestling scene, dubbed 'El Dia De Cambio', which lead to a 25% increase in attendance rates and the eventual superstardom of Champage Lover, and were excited to see potentially another world-wide boon. Others showed signs of caution,

wondering exactly what each of these promotions and mysterious owners were. However, it must be said that everyone who had an interest in wrestling were excited for the first week of the new year, when the companies, and their contracts, became official.

This is the story of a promotion that focuses on comedy and entertainment,

above all else. This is the story of Full Action Kombat Entertainment.

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>What is Full Action Kombat Entertainment?</strong></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i.imgur.com/xLsnQH9.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Full Action Kombat Entertainment is a promotion that was formed to compete in the draft, designed as a promotion that focuses itself on comedy and fun. Others have tried it before, most notably New Zealand promotion </em><em><strong>ZEN: Art of Wrestling</strong></em><em>. However, none have attempted to do one on a national scale. And, really, for all intents and purposes, it may blow up in the face, with wrestling purists and traditionalists angry that not only is such a promotion prominent on potentially a national scale, with TV deals in Arcadia and IC-TV, but that such a promotion has lead it to be listed by TotalExtremeWrestling.com as the #1 promotion, despite not even running a show. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

This #1 rating, for all intents and purposes, is very likely to change on a dime. However, the biggest thing it has is name power, as not only is the wrestling stacked with many of the casual stars, most notably </em><em><strong>Jack Bruce</strong></em><em> and </em><em><strong>Nicky Champion</strong></em><em>, but also has the backing of the most well known wrestler, </em><em><strong>Sam Strong</strong></em><em>.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

</em><span>http://i.imgur.com/FQb0XMv.jpg</span></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

Despite being retired since 2005, Sam Strong has kept himself at the forefront of the wrestling industry for a long time, as the owner of the former #1 wrestling promotion United States Pro Wrestling, before retiring from it in 2014. Fully intending to live out his life doing conventional tours and retiring to his home in Florida, he was personally handpicked by FAKE to become the official owner of the company. Having very recently made a guest appearance in the SWF hit web-series 'Mid-South Mountains Wrestling' as the incompetent, delusional, out-of-touch owner '</em><em><strong>Farley Charlington</strong></em><em>', he was selected to become both the on-screen and off-screen owner of the company, ableit not as Farley Charlington. The question is...will FAKE survive in the long term?</em></p></div><p></p><p></p>

<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>OOC:</strong> To answer the serious question of what exactly is FAKE, it's a promotion formed for the very very recent C-Verse draft run by <strong>Uncrewed</strong> (which you can find </p><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=538055" rel="external nofollow"><strong>HERE(discussion)</strong></a> and <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=538093" rel="external nofollow"><strong>HERE(actual draft)</strong></a>. If this survives until the end of the year I will be shocked. Confused. Bewildered. Everything else. Regardless I hope this will be a fun experience.<p> </p><p>

I'll be playing as Sam Strong, and as the owner of FAKE (<em>because, well, he is the owner in canon.</em>)</p><p> </p><p>
