Although the flashy graphics may look great, it's sometimes hard to follow and for me… it's a lot more work to update each month. From now on i will be working with a HTML Build System, which will still have a great look, but it will be easier to maintain and upkeep. This is one of the biggest tasks I have to face when it comes to updating. I love the idea of it, it seems to have a LOT! Of positive feedback and i certainly don't want to drop it. So with that, we will be moving away from the images again. Although i’m happy with them, they are very “Rigid” and don't allow for changes or new additions that easily. From now on i'm going to be working on a formula using HTML that helps me update them easily but also retain the depth. I'm still working on how this will work and it's might be a while away from completion at the moment. So in the meantime, if you have any suggestions of new Achievements, or anything else to do with the Achievement Wall, please let me know. Such as places to host images, software to edit images, resources to find images for workers, belts, events… Resources for PNG wrestling related images.</p><p> Programs best suited to help write a show, Tips on structuring a diary… who lot… things that will help new writers but also might help established writers streamline things for themselves.</p><p> After the Photobucket issues a few years ago… i know i was scratching my head for a while thinking what can we use next. I will be adding a lot of Diary Related sections to the homeofprowrestling.com in the near future as im also revamping that for the TEW 2020 release. Here is where you can help.</p><p> </p><p> If you are a diary writer, check your achievements status and then send me a DM of achievements that you have unlocked. At the moment i am working on the Achievement Wall's.</p><p> Right now we are looking for Writers to report any Achievements they believe they should have, but are not on their current Walls. I will post a Google Doc below to make it super quick and easy to update us on what should be on the list. A simple case of ticking boxes. We can then check and verify them, before adding them to your Wall of Achievements.</p><p> </p><p> Wall of Achievements should be updated soon enough, I am leaving up the Old Achievement wall at the moment for everyone to check and update us on whats missing.</p><p> </p><p> Its a long process doing almost 200 Walls, so please bare with us. Here the latest update was in May 2019. December 2019 voting has just started, but I can't find the November 2019 results for example... Historian Posted November 5, 2020 Share Posted November 5, 2020 I just wanted to highlight that Togg has been putting a lot of work into updating this and I wanted to give him my public thanks and make sure people realized that he has been hard at work the last couple of weeks trying to get everything updated on here. If you're a diary writer, please check your accomplishments on the trophy wall of achievement. If you're missing something, the first page has a form that you can fill out. Please fill it out! I'll be able to help keep everything nice and organized for Togg so he doesn't have as much to do with this wonderful project. We all owe a big debt of gratitude over the last several years to Togg's work (four straight years) of running the DOTM, but also the DOTY, the Hall of Fame, and creating the achievement wall. Togg Posted July 10, 2023 Author Share Posted July 10, 2023 Given the huge changes to the GDS forums since this was last updated, i have decided to completely ovehaul the Entire History Book and relaunch it in the near Future. The full DOTM, DOTY and HOF will be logged, however links to Diary's are broken and a vast VAST!!! project. If anyone would like to help reestablish links, i am more than willing to accept the help. On the Relaunch, links will be missing and wont be prioritised for future updates, given the huge amount of work and how broken (visually) a lot of the older diarys are. The Achievement Wall will return, it will be slightly slimmed down and hopefully easier to manage in the future. If anyone has expirence with spreadsheed formula's... i would welcome some advice. All the updates will now be on Google Doc's, allowing access to anyone who would like to help keep records up to date.
