Joel Bryant v Matt Hocking

Whatever Plan B is, it seem like it'll involve Hocking. That made me pick him initially, but the popularity disparity between Bryant and Hocking is too great. Instead, I say Joel gets the win, continues to assault Hocking, and out comes Plan B to the rescue.

 

Chance Fortune v Freddy Huggins v Titan

Fortune needs the win the least. Titan should probably win to give the tag champs some cred, but I can't see him going over these two, so Huggins it is.

 

Mighty Mo v Troy Tornado

Mo keeps up his, um, 'Mo'mentum. Yeah, sorry about that.

 

American Buffalo & Jay Chord v Benny Benson & Danny Fozarelli

Jay all the way. Are there other wrestlers in this match?

 

Human Arsenal v Wolf Hawkins

Really a personal preference more than anything. My gut tells me Taylor returns the favor and costs Wolf the match, but I just can't force myself to make that pick.

Who do you think is TCW's Plan B?

 

Human Arsenal seems to make the most sense out of anyone currently on the roster based on performance and proximately to the main event. It seems that Hocking will be involved somehow. If you play off Hocking's FCW past, then Kirk Jameson might just work if he hasn't already been scooped up by USPW.

 

What do you think of TCW's booking team?

 

Loved it. I don't know if you need to do it after every show, but TCW is basically a company under siege, so this type of interlude helps add to the backstage drama while also giving a character perspective on certain decision. I've enjoyed these when they've appeared in other diaries, and your first one was really well written.

Taylor states that what Hawkins did last week was wrong and he wants a reason why Hawkins thought it was necessary to interrupt his match. Hawkins chuckled stating that last week, was nothing but payback for the week before when Taylor “took a cheap shot” by kicking him in the head. He continues by saying don’t do something if you can’t deal with the consequences, which Taylor responds that he’ll give Hawkins that one, and that he can and will deal with the consequences just fine. He even states that he’ll leave Wolf be in his match tonight, because he knows that the business of wrestling is about respect and he admits he respects Wolf, even if he doesn’t like him. Taylor continues by saying that the problem is that Wolf doesn’t give that same courtesy back to him, but that’s okay as he’s going to earn his respect by beating the hell out of him at Malice in Wonderland. Okay, just a brief update on what the story is with the diary due to it being a bit quiet. So, firstly, IT IS NOT BEING ABANDONED!!!! With that out of the way, I'd like to explain what happened over the last three weeks. After I posted the most recent "behind the scenes" post I was really ill for 9/10 days where I was all out of whack. I had a bad virus/infection where I had breathing problems, constant headaches and generally could barely move without feeling dizzy as well as a plethora of other symptoms. I'm usually well able to do anything I normally would when I'm sick but this was a lot more serious and basically I was bed ridden from the night of the 11th til the middle of the day on the 22nd, the only day where I remember being able to do anything was one morning really early I remember posting on this site for something, but even then, my memory is a bit hazy... Although, I wasn't fully healthy on the 22nd, I pushed myself to get the show out due to the wait between posts, just in case people had forgotten about the diary. I was hoping I'd get fully healed in a day or two to continue on with it with more posts but the effects lingered around for longer than I expected and really only healed up fully on Friday. I could've posted something before then but decided I wanted to be completely right before starting to write again cause I really was in a daze for the majority of those days.</p><p> </p><p>

Over the past week, as I've been getting to full health, I've been playing a bit of WMMA5 to keep me going/sane and interacting in that community (although I don't remember posting much but I do think I posted a few times). However, I am writing the next "behind the scenes" post now and it should be posted either tomorrow or the day after, depending on how long it runs.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Matt seems to be another project the comitee is working on, maybe "Plan C", and you, the comittee and hawkins are right your face side is barren, so I see that you would try to bring a couple of faces a little higher, even if all arent main eventers, while you take guys from the midcard to the main event, it makes sense to make some prospects, some opening guys be credible midcarders, because those midcarders you up to the main event, arent solving the problem, they are just moving it down, you arent bringing mor people, so in the future the face midcard would be barren, but if you begin pushing your prospects at least to the midcard, you puah the problem down enough, that to solve it you just bring more bodies as faces, but they dont have the pressure to be being pushed to the top too fast, I dont think Matt will have a emergency push to the top as Mo, but he could fill the place Mo left in the midcard when he was catapulted to the top without a replacement for his position, in short Matt will be the next midcard face.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Speaking of Mo, here is just another day in the office, I love Buffalo, but this is why he is here, he helps the new generation get up, and you need al help you can get to move Mo to the top faster, than Rocky was pushed from the midcard to the top, as he is needed up there, but that velocity of push can also be risky as people might see it as TCW pushing Mo through their throats, I really hope Mo can live up to the expectatives and becomes a real main eventer not just a prospect.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<em>We have talked a long time about your barren main event scene, literally the faces on that teams, for me are the only legit main event faces on your roster, and yeah i know we have Plan A, B and C growing, but thats the problem, they are grwoing, they arent here yet, you cannot rely completely on the new faces, you have to keep your actual Main Faces strong, as they are the resource you have scarcely for your feuds, and even after you have those new faces at least some will have to stay alson in the main event, like Joshua Taylor, others that will partially stay on top, but will slowly be rolling down the card to bring up more new faces and put over the new generation of heels Human Arsenal and Ricky Dale Johnson, but until that happens, you cannot bury them, if you cant make the public think your face could beat Andrews, you dont have a product that is interesting, and the only way to keep the little faces you have is giving them the win, and Probably having Taylor do the Pin, as he is the more in his prime of the 3.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Joel is smart, he isn't going to show weakness if he can help but that's the problem with humans, they can't keep everything in their head. Everything affects us and at some point, something will show. The thing is most people can learn to find a way to show it only when they're alone but when the pressure begins to build and the worry, anxiety and everything else pile up, sometimes, it rears it's ugly head when it isn't supposed to.
