WMMA5 Small Questions Thread

Recommended Posts

<p>Pretty sure this is some kind of settings thing going on on my computer, and it's a small one, but I like to browse while the game plays through, but invariably when I bring the game tab back to the front it's largely blank?</p><p> </p><p>

Are there any changes I can make to give me a more pleasing 'welcome back' screen?</p><p><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2018_05/WMMABlank.jpg.1c65176123dbe59c1833dbb31f928deb.jpg" data-fileid="3413" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="3413" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="WMMABlank.jpg.1c65176123dbe59c1833dbb31f928deb.jpg" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2018_05/WMMABlank.jpg.1c65176123dbe59c1833dbb31f928deb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p>

<p>weight class population</p><p> </p><p>

I think I've read this some place, but I can't seem to locate it. Is there a way to increase the amount of fighters being created by the game for a specific weight class? I added the flyweight division for GAMMA and I've gone 1 game year and the game really hasn't created many new fighters for that weight class. XCC has that weight class also, they have I think 30 fighters also.</p><p> </p><p>

Thanks.</p>

You'll have a bunch of drop-down options from there that allow you to dictate what you want to add to the game. So the fighter's regions, weight class (in your case you'll select Flyweight), and the quality of fighters you want to bring into the game world etc. I think you can choose between 1 and 100 at a time.</p>

I'm just wondering if anyone has seen a local showcase show occur? I'm currently in a 13 year long game and there has not been one yet (and yes I did filter the results correctly to see them). I'm pretty sure the reason in my case is that I started with a reset mod similar to Taker's where every fighter started with no popularity. Currently there are lots of extremely popular fighters as there are International and National companies, however they are all employed.

I'm in 2011 and I have had 1. It was all Mexican fighters. I noticed most of the fighters were something like 14-0. I think this is just kinda a fluff addition to the game. I was hoping this would showcase talent that was worth signing because they had hype. You know, some hot prospect making a name for himself/herself, you would try and land him/her and they would be a big draw. It doesn't seem like that's what it does. Good fighters for sure, but I thought there was going to be more to it. I didn't even know it happened, I just happened to see it took place when I looked at the results.

So when exactly do fighters start declining? Emil Karlsson is 30 and I already see his stats declining. Is it really that young? Some national/world calibre fighters debut past 30 and I kind of don't see the point.

<p>1) Does chin strength go down when a fighter gets knocked out? Does it go down with age?</p><p> </p><p>

2) Can conditioning go up by 10 points if a fighter is young? For example, if I have a 23 year old fighter with conditioning of 60, is it possible he will increase to 70 or so?</p><p> </p><p>

Thanks for any help</p>

<p>I can’t have a definitive answer to #1 but for #2 they can definitely get in better shape</p><p> </p><p>

Try to have them join a good gym and that will help the most. I assume they’re a decent prospect so gyms should be willing to take them on. It’s kind of a crapshoot as far as which one they join, but just based on roster size and open spots you might be able to predict it.</p>

Maybe an obvious one...but I am just blanking here.

Do you have the ability to edit the Olympic and World Championship settings once you have started a save? I have looked through the editor but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

Thanks in advance for the help everyone.
