From The Desk Of Harlan Garrity:

Hello Wrestling Fans!!! My name is Harlan Garrity and I have come into some money, so I have decided to do what any other self respecting wrestling fan would do.... OPEN MY OWN COMPANY!!!

After I received my monetary landfall, I was contacted by Florida Wrestling Legend "The Hardcore Giant" Ron Niemi, and he convinced me that this would be the perfect time to strike up a partnership with him that would be beneficial to both of us.

I would provide the funding, get free tickets to the show, and get to live my dream of becoming the next Jim Herd, while Mr. Niemi would handle everything else.

Blanco Loco v. Tim Zbyszko

The match started the show off with a bang. Zbyszko slid out of the ring after the bell rang and began taunting the crowd and the two guys in the ring about his wrestling acumen, saying he wasn't going to wrestle until Shark Boy and Blanco Loco wore each other down. Shark Boy and Blanco both looked at each other, looking like they were going to start wrestling, and then Shark Boy ran and connected with a Suicide Dive to Zbyszko. Blanco, not looking to be outdone, climbed to the top rope and connected to both men with a Shooting Star Press. The sparse crowd tried to muster up a "This is awesome chant!!". After a few minutes of back and forth action that saw all three men hit various moves, Blanco Loco superkicked Zbyszko out of the ring and then turned into an Ace Crusher by Shark Boy. Sharky then climbed to the top rope and connected with a Top Rope Senton. Shark Boy went for the cover, but Zbyszko broke it up, threw Shark Boy to the outside, and then connected with a Brainbuster on Blanco Loco for the win.

Winner: Tim Zbyszko

Here Comes The Ax...Here Comes The Smasher

Ring Announcer Sean LaFlash welcomes wrestling legends Demolition to the ring. Ax says that they are at Vintage to bring old school wrestling back to the state of Florida. Smash thanks the fans for their continued support, and even though they may be older, thanks to the fans they are determined to never slow down.

Demolition are soaking in the fans applause, when from behind, The Dirty Blondes attack the legendary team. Leo Brian and Mike Patrick, in a nod to their opponents later on tonight, hit a Decapitation Elbow on both Ax and Smash before Commissioner Josh Rich and security can run in and order The Dirty Blondes to the back.

Commissioner Josh Rich Updates The Fans

After the mayhem with Demolition and The Dirty Blondes cools off, Commissioner Josh Rich grabs the mic from Sean LaFlash. Rich hopes the fans are having a good time, and tells them that VPW will be returning next month and the main event will be a Fatal Four Way for the VPW Heavyweight Championship, and to check out the VPW Facebook page for updates. He then has the unfortunate job to tell the fans that due to personal reasons outside of their control, New Jack will not be competing here tonight. This draws boos from the fans, and then "Crazy Bitch" plays over the loudspeakers and Bruce Santee makes his way to the ring.

Santee claims that if New Jack is too chicken to be a man and face him, he should get an automatic berth in the Fatal Four Way next month to determine the first VPW Heavyweight Champion.

Josh Rich says this is Vintage Pro Wrestling, and everyone has to prove their worth and that the fans deserve to see a match tonight, and to that end, Bruce Santee will be in a match. Bruce demands to know who his opponent will be.

"Rich, what little skinny yard tard have you signed up to get destroyed by The Marquee?? What little nerd will I have the pleasure of teaching a lesson that kick pads and flippy bullshit doesn't make you wrestler?? Drinking beer, kicking ass, and banging rats makes you a wrestler!!"

"Bruce, tonight you will be facing someone special. Someone who is far from a nerd. This guy was your friend, but now instead of wearing kick pads he wears ass kicking boots!!! Tonight, Bruce, you will be wrestling Lex Lovett!!"

Aaron Epic and Sean Maluta vs. Dark City Fight Club (Jon Davis and Kory Chavis)

Epic and Maluta used their speed to gain an early advantage over Dark City, and clearly had the fans behind them. However, Jon Davis caught Maluta in mid air after Maluta tried to connect with a Flying Cross Body, and that turned the momentum. Dark City used their experience to work over Maluta for the next 5 minutes with various tag team maneuvers. Aaron Epic looked helplessly on, and tried to get the fans behind them, while he was looking to make the hot tag. Every time that Maluta looked like he was about to make the tag, Dark City would take advantage of the refs five count to double team Maluta and cut off the ring. Maluta ducked a double clothesline attempt, and followed up with a dropkick that staggered both Chavis and Davis. Maluta crawled with all his might to his corner to tag in Epic, but in a turn of events, as the tag was about to be made, Epic jumped of the apron and flipped off Maluta. This allowed Dark City to hit a Spinebuster / Backstabber combo for the win. After the match Epic walked to the back as a dazed Maluta was left asking why.

Winners: Dark City Fight Club

Wildfire In The House

Sean LaFlash was again in the ring, this time to interview Tommy Rich. Wildfire thanked the fans and claimed that just like how he won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, he is here to win the VPW Heavyweight Championship. This brought out Stormie Lee who claimed that the only thing that Rich could win is a whiskey drinking-Cheeto eating contest, before slapping Rich. Francisco Ciatso and Tommy Penirelli ran down to the ring which leads to....

Fatal 4Way Qualifier: "Wildfire" Tommy Rich vs. Francisco Ciatso w/ Tommy Penirelli and Stormie Lee

In a fairly quick match, Ciatso and Rich worked a slower old school match with headlocks and clotheslines. After a few minutes, Stormie jumped on the apron to distract Rich, who walked over and grabbed Stormie and looked like he was going to hit her. Ciatso came running up from behind with a double axe handle blow, but Rich moved out of the way, Ciatso stopped short of hitting his wife, but Rich pushed CIatso into Stormie who fell on top of Penirelli on the outside. Rich rolled up Ciatso for the win. After the match, Ciatso and his crew sulked in the ring as the fans cheered on Rich.

Winner: "Wildfire" Tommy Rich

Demolition (Ax and Smash) vs. The Dirty Blondes (Mike Patrick and Leo Brian)

Before the bell could even ring, both teams brawled around ringside for about 10 minutes. The Blondes slammed Smash into the wall by the concession area, and turned their attention to Ax, who was laid out earlier. Both Blondes pick up chairs and look like they are about to unleash Holy Hell on Ax, before Smash is able to make the save. Smash grabs Patrick as Ax grabs Brian, and they make their way into the ring. In a weird moment, Ax goes to Atomic Drop Brian, but looks like he slipped which caused Brian to land awkwardly and it looks like his knee buckled. Brian rolled out of the ring, in obvious agony. Ax and Smash are then able to connect with the Decapitation Elbow on Patrick for the win, After the match Mike Patrick, Maxwell Chicago, and Jerrelle Clark all check on Leo Brian.

Winners: Demolition

Intermission Report:

As the VPW officials and Mike Patrick check on Leo Brian, some VPW stars make their way out to sign autographs for the fans for intermission. As Sean LaFlash is thanking the fans and telling them about next months show, Sean Maluta slides into the ring and challenges Aaron Epic to a match next month.

Fatal 4Way Qualifier: Lex Lovett vs. "The Marquee" Bruce Santee

A hard hitting affair that saw Lovett get busted open after a back elbow from Santee. However, Lovett was able to mount some offense and connected with a beautiful Side Salto, but Bruce was able to kick out at 2. Bruce, at one point ripped the top turnbuckle cover off the rear right turnbuckle. After teasing that he was going to slam Lovett's already bloody head into the exposed turnbuckle, Lovett connected with a German Suplex and followed it up with a slingshot that sent Bruce head first into the exposed turnbuckle. Bruce collapsed on the mat, and Lovett climbed to the top rope, but Bruce kicked the ref into the ropes, which then caused Lovett to crotch himself on the exposed turnbuckle. Bruce climbed up top and connected with a massive Superplex and was able to get the pinfall.

Winner: "The Marquee" Bruce Santee

Fatal 4Way Qualifier: Jesse Neal vs. "The Black Nature Boy" Scoot Andrews w/ Simon Sez

Jesse Neal was the definitive fan favorite in this match, but Simon Sez would be the deciding factor. Neal, who had a dazed Andrews set up for a spear, bounced off the ropes but Sez hooked his leg. Andrews turned the ref's attention away from Neal and Sez as he complained about something. Neal bent threw the ropes, grabbed Simon Sez by his shirt collar, but Sez blew what can only be described as Emerald Dust into the eyes of Neal. A blinded Neal turned into a DDT from Andrews for the win.

Winner: "The Black Nature Boy" Scoot Andrews

Jesse Neal Wants Revenge

After the match, a visibly distraught Neal grabs the mic away from Sean LaFlash and demands that VPW Commissioner Josh Rich signs a match between himself and Simon Sez for next month.

Main Event: Fatal 4Way Qualifier: "Off The Wall" Sam Shaw vs. "The Freak" Rob Terry

Terry would gain an early advantage by attacking Shaw as he entered the ring. Terry would show off his freakish strength with an array of suplex's and bodyslams, but a missed running boot would prove costly. Shaw would then go on to take advantage by hitting a running bulldog. Shaw would attempt a Top Rope Leg Drop, but Terry pushed him and Shaw crashed hard down to the outside. For the next few moments Terry would man handle Shaw on the outside. Terry had Shaw propped up on the steel turnbuckle on the outside, but Shaw ducked a clothesline, and Terry crashed hard into the steel. Shaw rolled Terry back in the inside, and connected with three straight Superkicks, before connected with a Top Rope Leg Drop for the win.

Winner: "Off The Wall" Sam Shaw

Wojcik's Final Thoughts:

* VPW's inaugural show was pretty exciting, and it was cool to see legends like Demolition and Tommy Rich in action. However, if VPW wants to grow, I think it might be a good idea to get out of a flea market. Not only did you have to pay the 5$ to get into the flea market, you had to pay an additional 10$ to get into VPW's laughably inept "Arena". The arena was basically a tent set up with no AC, old plastic folding chairs, twine rope attached to traffic cones that constituted the guard rails, and some sweaty old man that sold 1$ 12oz soda from a cooler and popcorn from an old looking popcorn machine. For the talent VPW has, they need a better venue.

* There seemed to be about 50 people there, but after talking to them, most seemed to be friends and family of the wrestlers, and thus let in free.

* In a somewhat surprising moment, as I was coming in to setup my computer, New Jack was walking out of the arena. No word on why he didn't wrestle tonight, but there have been some unsubstantiated rumors going around.

* It looked to me like Maxwell Chicago, Jerrelle Clark, and Afa The Wild Samoan were serving as some type of agents for the promotion.

* Leo Brian did legitimately get hurt, and was taken to a hospital during intermission.

...

From The Desk Of Harlan Garrity:

What a night, wrestling fans!!! VPW put on an exciting debut show in front of a packed house at the Vintage Arena!! In the opening match Tim Zbyszko used his wrestling acumen to pull out a victory over Shark Boy and Blanco Loco!! Francisco Ciatso had the numbers advantage, but couldn't put out the fire that lies within Tommy Rich, as "Wildfire" became the first man to advance into the Fatal Four Way for next month!!! In a brawl that harkened back to the glory days of wrestling, Demolition put away the team of The Dirty Blondes. Personal reasons kept New Jack out of the Vintage Arena and "The Marquee" Bruce Santee demanded to go automatically to the Fatal Four Way, but our trusted commissioner Josh Rich brought in Santee's former friend Lex Lovett for a hard fought match that Santee ended up winning. Jesse Neal fell to "The Black Nature Boy" Scoot Andrews with the help of "The Emerald Emperor" Simon Sez. Andrews advanced to the Fatal Four Way, while Jesse Neal will take on Simon Sez next month!!! In the Main Event, Sam Shaw defeated Rob Terry in a hard fought match and became the final participant in the Fatal Four Way next month!!! I'm always into these small-time feds without big names. They are fun. Only issue is I don't usually know half of the guys. But this one has some names I like. DCFC for example. I also hope Barrington Hughes has an F- for stamina. Never seen the dude wrestle for more than a minute.

Fatal Four Way For The Vintage Heavyweight Championship:

"Off The Wall" Sam Shaw v. "The Black Nature Boy" Scoot Andrews v. "The Marquee" Bruce Santee v. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich

Jesse Neal v. "The Emerald Emperor" Simon Sez

Sean Maluta v. Aaron Epic

Demoliton v. Francisco Ciatso and Tommy Penirelli w/ Stormie Lee

Lex Lovett v. "The Natural" Chase Stevens

Rhett Giddins v. CJ O'Doyle

Shark Boy and Blanco Loco v. Josh Hess and Jude Mackenzie

Perhaps Mr. 630 could mentor Mr. 450

Thanks for the feedback!! I actually signed Jerrelle Clark for that exact reason, without realizing that he was retired, so I made him a road agent working primarily with the high flyers. My initial thought with Barrington is to keep him in tag matches for the time being.

Vintage Pro Wrestling: AfterShock Report
By: Alan Wojcik

1: Shark Boy and Blanco Loco vs. Jude Mackenzie and Josh Hess

Vintage started off the show with a fast paced 10 minute match. The end came as all four men were in the ring brawling. Blanco Loco connected with a running clothesline that took both himself and Jude Mackenzie tumbling to the outside. Blanco and Jude continued brawling on the outside, while inside the ring, Josh Hess raked Shark Boy's eyes and then followed up with a Firemans Carry Gutbuster for the win. After the match, Jude and Blanco continued to brawl through the crowd and ended up fighting by the merchandise table where Tommy Rich was selling 8x10's. Eventually Jerrelle Clark and Maxwell Chicago came out to separate the men.

Winners: Jude Mackenzie and Josh Hess

2. Jesse Neal vs. "The Emerald Emperor" Simon Sez

Jesse Neal, looking for some revenge for last month where Simon Sez cost Jesse a spot in the Fatal 4Way, attacked Sez before the bell rang. Neal took Sez to the outside and connected with a Suplex on the concrete floor, before sliding Sez back into the ring for the official start of the match. In a basic brawl that lasted around 7 minutes, Neal clearly had the upper hand for the majority of the match. Eventually, Neal was backed up into the corner while Sez was wailing away with punches. Referee Frank Gastineau tried to get in between both men, but Jesse Neal threw Gastineau to the ground and began throwing haymakers at Sez. Jesse Neal connected with a Spear as Gastineau came to and called for the bell. Gastineau DQ's Neal for throwing him to the ground as the Vintage fans boos in displeasure. Scoot Andrews runs out and pulls Sez to the outside as Neal argues with Gastineau, and a dazed Sez celebrates his victory over Neal.

Winner: Simon Sez by DQ

New Jack Is In The House

New Jack's music starts to play and The Original Gangsta New Jack makes an appearance at the Vintage Arena. He walks over to Sean LaFlash and grabs the mic from his hands. New Jack talks about his history of violence, the Vic Grimes incident, and Gypsy Joe. He says that no one tells New Jack what to do or how to do it. He was told to come out an apologize to the fans, which he does. But he says that the reason he is New Jack is the exact reason why companies won't hire him. He says WWE would never hire him because they know that New Jack would get high and stab John Cena in his stomach. He says that's the reason he couldn't appear last month, he was too busy getting medicine from Dr. Feelgood.

This brings out Alex Chamberlain, who calls New Jack a joke and a disgrace. He doesn't fear New Jack, because he doesn't fear middle aged drug addicts. Chamberlain scolds the Vintage fans for idolizing a man like New Jack, and that he should be the face and hero of Vintage.

New Jack challenges Chamberlain to a match, but Chamberlain refuses saying that all legal paperwork must be signed before he will step in the ring with New Jack. Not for his safety, but for New Jack's safety.

3. Demolition vs. Francisco Ciatso and Tommy Penirelli w/ Stormie Lee

Ax and Smash had the early advantage in this match, mainly beating down Penirelli with the various power moves that Demolition is famous for.*However, 9 minutes into the match the tides turned, thanks to interference from Stormie Lee. Ciatso and Penirelli spent the next 5 minutes slowly beating Ax down, and Smash looked on helplessly. After ducking a double clothesline, Ax connected with a clothesline on both Ciatso and Penirelli, and made the hot tag to Smash, who came in like a slow moving ball of fire. Ax atomic dropped Ciatso, who rolled to the outside, and then Demolition connected with the Decapitation Elbow on Penirelli for the win.

Winners: Demolition

Tommy Rich's Fire Inside

Sean LaFlash welcomes Tommy Rich to the Vintage Arena ahead of his match later on tonight. Tommy Rich says that his whole life people doubted him. When he beat Ric Flair and won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, people doubted him. After he lost the title, people doubted him, but he went on to have a 30 year career. He is not slowing down anytime soon. He is 62 years old, and people doubt him. Francisco Ciatso doubted him last month, and he beat him 1-2-3 in this very ring. Tonight, he knows that his competitors are going to doubt him, but he has a fire that burns inside of him. A Wildfire!!! Tonight, he once again will prove his doubter wrong!!!

4. Sean Maluta vs. Aaron Epic

A lengthy spotfest that wowed the Vintage faithful, both men went all out to put on a match of the night canidate. At one point, Maluta was dazed on his knees and Epic connected with a Discus Punch, but was only able to get a 2 count. Epic maneuvered Maulta into the corner, took a running start, and attempted a Running Boot, but Maluta moved at the last second and Epic crashed hard into the turnbuckle and rolled out of the ring. Maluta waited for Epic to get in position and connected with a Suicide Dive. Maluta rolled Epic back into the ring, and then climbed to the top turnbuckle. Maluta connected with a Frogsplash, but Epic used the momentum and rolled through the Frogsplash and on top of Maluta, grabbed a handful of Maluta's tights and got the win. After the match, Epic quickly made his way to the back, as Maluta argued with Aaron Mahoney.

Winner: Aaron Epic

Intermission Report:

VPW Commissioner Josh Rich came down to the ring during intermission and announced that next month Alex Chamberlain will be taking on New Jack. Suddenly, there was loud arguing heard, as Jude Mackenzie and Blanco Loco crashed through the curtains fighting. The fighting led to the concession area, where Mackenzie picked Loco up and connected with a Running Powerbomb through the popcorn machine. Security and agents ran to break up the fallen men as Josh Rich left the ring visibly upset at the wrestlers.

5. Rhett Giddens vs. CJ O'Doyle

A 10 minute match, VPW newcomers Giddens and O'Doyle delivered a high impact encounter. After some back and forth action, Giddens connected with a Running Powerslam, but O'Doyle kicked out of the pin attempt. Giddens ascended to the top rope and attempted a Flying Elbow Drop, but O'Doyle moved and Giddens crashed hard down on the mat. O'Doyle picked Giddens up and connected with a GTS for the win.

Winner: CJ O'Doyle

Scoot Andrews Speaks

Scoot Andrews and Simon Sez come down to the ring. Sez grabs the mic and tries to speak, but can not, still selling his match with Jesse Neal earlier. Scoot grabs the mic and says tonight he will become the first ever VPW Heavyweight Champion. Stealing lines from his namesake, Scoot says that he is the man in Florida wrestling and if you want to be the man, you have to beat the man. He vows to get revenge of Jesse Neal for bruising Simon's ribs, but that is in the future. This is the present and he is the present and future of Vintage Wrestling. He calls Bruce Santee a tough competitor, but not on his level. He calls Sam Shaw a skateboarding punk. He calls Tommy Rich* wrestling's version Old Yeller, and tonight he will take him out back and shoot him in the head. He calls himself the Chocolate Rocket that's ready to explode all over Vintage Wrestling.

6. Lex Lovett vs. "The Natural" Chase Stevens

Lovett and Stevens put on a 10 minute clinic. Despite the reversals and near falls the fans at Vintage just didn't seem that invested into the match.*The end came when Stevens missed a Stinger Splash attempt and walked into a Death Valley Driver from Lovett.

Winner: Lex Lovett

Los Ben Dejos Crash The Party

Jay Rios and Jon Cruz, collectively known as Los Ben Dejos come down to the ring with a box. They cut a promo about all the cool stuff that can be found at the Volusia County Flea Market, including a Potted Plant, a Back To The Future NES Cartridge, and an authentic Kamala Hasboro action figure. Mike Patrick comes out and calls Los Ben Dejos better pitchmen than wrestlers, and once Leo Brian gets medically cleared, the only thing that Los Ben Dejos will be selling is an authentic Dirt Blondes Ass Whooping.

7. Main Event: Fatal 4Way For The VPW Heavyweight Championship: "Off The Wall" Sam Shaw vs. "The Marquee" Bruce Santee vs. "The Black Nature Boy" Scoot Andrews vs. "Wildfire" Tommy Rich

If the fans weren't invested in the previous match, they were definitely invested in this one. Numerous near falls that saw each man connect with their signature moves, only for the resulting pin attempt getting broken up. Scoot Andrews partner Simon Sez tried to get involved but was Superkicked off the apron by Sam Shaw. Tommy Rich got busted open after being thrown into the steel steps by Santee. Shaw looked like he tweaked his knee, and Andrews worked him over, but couldn't get him to submit. The end came when Santee threw Shaw over the top rope, but Shaw skinned the cat, leg scissored Santee over the top, and slid back in. At that exact moment, Rich connected with a Piledriver on Andrews, went to cover him, and turned into a Superkick from Shaw. Sam Shaw then climbed up to the top turnbuckle and connect with a Flying Leg Drop on Rich for the win.

Winner: New VPW Heavyweight Champion Sam Shaw

Wojcik's Final Thoughts

* There seemed to be slightly more people in the arena this month, so it does look like Vintage is slowly building up a fan base. Or, they are letting in more family and friends for free.

* Slightly surprised to see New Jack back after he missed the show last month. Even more surprised to hear him cut a promo basically saying he missed the show because he was on drugs. There are kids in the audience, and VPW has sold itself as a family friendly show. Not sure how having one of your babyfaces endorsing drug usage plays to that mission.

* It looks like we will eventually get a Dirty Blondes - Los Ben Dejos match, which should be a treat.

* After Jude Mackenzie and Blanco Loco took out the popcorn machine, the concession stand shut down. Not a good look with half the show left to go.

* After the show, people were checking on Sam Shaw, who it is rumored suffered a concussion. Hopefully he won't miss time, as he was just crowned Champion.

* Overall, a slightly better show but still dragged in parts. VPW seems to be setting up some feuds going forward.

....

From The Desk Of Harrison Garrity:

What an exciting time for Vintage Pro Wrestling!! After another action packed Saturday at The Vintage Arena, we are excited to announce that we will be returning to the Volusia County Flea Market Lot 2R next month for VPW: Everything Burns!!!

At Aftershock we saw the return of The Original Gangster New Jack who was interrupted by Alex Chamberlain. At Everything Burns, Chamberlain will get his chance to show the Vintage faithful that he is a superior athlete. But, at what cost?? New Jack is unpredictable and there is no telling if Chamberlain will be able to survive.

After their match at Aftershock, VPW Commissioner Josh Rich has signed a rematch between Demolition and the team of Francisco Ciatso and Tommy Penirelli. However, at Everything Burns this match will determine who becomes the VPW Tag Team Champions

Two tag teams that might have an issue with that are The Dirty Blondes and Los Ben Dejos. Both teams will be in action at Everything Burns!!!

Last Month, in an epic Fatal 4Way, we saw Sam Shaw crowned the first ever VPW Heavyweight Champion.
