Hello friends, I'm back! As some already know I did some UFC dynasties that were successful here in the forum, but now I want to do something not only with the UFC. I want to make a dynasty with all the organizations, with only results.

Again I will use the name Sherdog.com, which is the world's largest MMA site, so that whoever accompanies the dynasty feel as if reading the site.

How will it work

Organizations

I chose 2 Companies: UFC and Bellator MMA. Which are the largest companies at the moment and on an international level.

These companies will get news more often and play-by-play.

The other organizations around the world will only have the results and some news of the cards.

Fighters

News such as: Marking of fights, Hiring, Retirement, Hiatus, injuries, suspension (Doping and Medical Assistance) and contract renewal.

I will follow the same importance of organizations, the more important the fighter, the more news he will.

For those who accompany the site know that they do some good stuff and even I intend to reproduce ...

I will always be updating when I have time. Most of the time it will be Tuesday and Thursday.

I hope you like it and leave your comments, tips and suggestions.

Here we go?

Dana White: GSP vs. Nate Diaz, Alexander Gustafsson vs. Luke Rockhold Targeted for UFC 227

In Dana White’s perfect world, UFC 227 has a chance to be one of 2018’s biggest events.

The Aug. 4 card, which takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, has already confirmed a bantamweight title rematch between T.J. Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt. However, the pay-per-view portion of the card could be in line for a significant boost in star power, as White revealed on the ”UFC Unfiltered” podcast that the promotion is hoping to book Georges St. Pierre vs. Nate Diaz and Alexander Gustafsson vs. Luke Rockhold for UFC 227.

One key point of interest: St. Pierre and Diaz would compete at lightweight instead of welterweight. Meanwhile, Gustafsson vs. Rockhold would be at light heavyweight, as Rockhold, the former middleweight champion, has hinted at a move up in weight in recent months.

“It is true, and they [st. Pierre and Diaz] would fight at 155 pounds,” White said. “There are rumors that we were doing Gustafsson versus Rockhold. That is true, but that is not for the interim title. That’s false.”

Last week, reports surfaced that Diaz was in talks to make his Octagon return at UFC 227, although no opponent was mentioned. The Stockton, Calif., native hasn’t fought since losing a majority decision to Conor McGregor at UFC 202 in August 2016.

“We’ve been offering Nate Diaz fights for however long,” White said. “In his contract, and Nick Diaz, I have to give them three fights a year. Per the contract, I need to give them three fights a year. If I fail to give them three fights a year then I have to pay them. I have honored my contract with those guys. They turn down the fights, which extends their contracts. But we are working right now to try to put together a Georges St-Pierre versus Nate Diaz fight.”

Gunnar Nelson Announces Withdrawal from UFC Fight Night Liverpool Due to Knee Injury

Gunnar Nelson has been forced to pull out of a proposed welterweight clash with Neil Magny at UFC Fight Night 130 due to a knee injury.

The Iceland native announced his withdrawal Sunday on Facebook. UFC Fight Night 130 takes place on May 27 at Echo Arena in Liverpool, England and is headlined by a 170-pound tilt pitting Stephen Thompson against Darren Till. The promotion has not announced a replacement opponent for Magny.

Nelson last appeared at UFC Fight Night 113, where he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Santiago Ponzinibbio on July 16. The 29-year-old SBG Ireland representative owns a 6-3 record in UFC competition.

UFC is looking for an opponent for Magny, so he can remain on the Liverpool card but nothing official has been announced yet.

Chad Mendes Returns from 2-Year Suspension, Meets Myles Jury at UFC Fight Night Boise

Chad Mendes has nearly completed his two-year USADA suspension and will return to the Octagon against Myles Jury at UFC Fight Night 133.

The Las Vegas-based promotion confirmed the featherweight pairing on Monday. The previously reported heavyweight headliner pitting Junior dos Santos against Blagoy Ivanov was also made official, as was a lightweight clash between Paul Felder and James Vick.

UFC Fight Night 133 takes place at the CenturyLine Arena in Boise, Idaho on July 14.

Mendes received a two-year sanction in July after testing positive for growth hormone. The Team Alpha Male standout claimed that he never knowingly took performance enhancing drugs and blamed the failed drug test on a skin cream used to treat plaque psoriasis. The 33-year-old last appeared at “The Ultimate Fighter 22” finale, where he suffered first-round knockout loss to Frankie Edgar.

Jury, meanwhile, is coming off a 2-0 campaign in 2017. The 29-year-old defeated Mike da la Torre via first-round TKO at UFC 210 before outpointing Rick Glenn at UFC 219 this past December.

Israel Adesanya will take a major step up in competition when he faces Brad Tavares in the main event of "The Ultimate Fighter 27" finale.

The promotion announced the matchup on Monday. The “TUF 27” finale takes place at the Pearl Theatre in Las Vegas on July 6 and will also feature the featherweight and lightweight finals from the current season of the reality show.

Adesanya has kicked off his pro career with 13 consecutive triumphs, including two under the UFC banner. After dispatching Rob Wilkinson via second-round TKO in his Octagon debut at UFC 221, “The Last Stylebender” captured a split verdict over Marvin Vettori in his sophomore outing at UFC on Fox 29. The win over Vetori was the first fight that Adesanya was unable to stop via knockout or technical knockout.

Tavares enters the matchup on a four-bout winning streak. Most recently, the 30-year-old Hawaiian scored a third-round technical knockout of Krzysztof Jotko at UFC on Fox 29. Tavares has compiled an 11-4 record in the UFC since beginning his tenure with the Las Vegas-based organization in 2011.

Eddie Alvarez-Dustin Poirier Rematch Official for UFC on Fox 30 Main Event in Calgary

After a few weeks of back-and-forth and speculation, the rematch between Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier is finally official for the UFC on Fox 30 headliner.

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the lightweight pairing on Monday. UFC on Fox 30 takes place on July 28 at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and will see former featherweight king Jose Aldo square off against Jeremy Stephens in the co-main event.

Alvarez and Poirier initially square off at UFC 211. What was already shaping up to be an entertaining battle ended prematurely when Poirier was unable to continue after Alvarez landed an illegal knee. The bout was declared a no contest.

A former UFC and Bellator lightweight champion, Alvarez last appeared at UFC 218, where he scored a third-round knockout of ex-WSOF titlist Justin Gaethje on Dec. 2. “The Underground King” also owns wins over Rafael dos Anjos, Anthony Pettis and Gilbert Melendez in the Octagon.

Since his first meeting with Alvarez, Poirier has earned finishes against Pettis at UFC Fight Night 120 last November and over Gaethje at UFC on Fox 29 on April 14. “The Diamond” has lost just once in nine promotional appearances since moving from featherweight to 155 pounds.

Scott Coker: Don’t Be Surprised If You See Another Bellator Tournament Next Year

During the Bjorn Rebney regime, Bellator was the home to the “Toughest Tournament in Sports.”

When Scott Coker took leadership of the California-based organization, he did away with that format in favor of a more traditional schedule. However, Coker has never been one to shy away from putting together a bracket when the opportunity presents itself — just look at the star-studded grand prix he held as president of Strikeforce from 2011-2012.

That’s why Coker didn’t hesitate to do something similar in Bellator this year, as the organization compiled an interesting bracket filled with big names for its own heavyweight tournament.

On Saturday, Ryan Bader’s 15-second knockout of Muhammed Lawal in the Bellator 199 headliner marked the conclusion of the opening round of the promotion’s heavyweight grand prix. Nothing is official yet, but Coker said that September will be the target for the semifinal matchups, which will see Chael Sonnen square off with Fedor Emelianenko and Bader lock horns with Matt Mitrione.

“I’m excited about Fedor fighting Chael Sonnen. That’s gonna be a really fun fight. I think that’s gonna be interesting to see how strategically how Chael and Fedor try to battle each other. Mitrione and Bader, that’s gonna be a fun fight too,” Coker told media at the Bellator 199 post-fight press conference. “I think we’ve got two amazing semifinal fights and I’m looking forward to hosting them in September.”

Coker seems to be happy with the heavyweight tournament so far, and while Bellator may never go back to its old format, he isn’t ruling out the possibility of holding more brackets down the road.

“I want to get through the heavyweight tournament first, but I think it’s a great format for us and I believe that there’s a place for tournaments in MMA,” Coker said. “I think this grand prix tournament proves that it’s something worth doing. For us it’s great because it crowns our new heavyweight champion. Don’t be surprised if you see another tournament or so next year.”

UFC Fight Night 129 is down to 12 bouts after a Chad Laprise injury forced him to withdraw from a proposed welterweight clash against Vicente Luque.

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the news on Tuesday night. UFC Fight Night 129 takes place at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile on Saturday and is headlined by a Welterweight tilt between Demian Maia and Kamaru Usman. The 'Iceman’ Cometh: UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell announces comeback

Ultimate Fighting Championship hall of famer and former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell announced to Ariel Helwani on “The MMA Hour” that he is indeed coming out of retirement.

While it seems everything is still early in the planning stages, the 48-year-old is targeting a trilogy fight against long-time rival Tito Ortiz. While Liddell and Ortiz are UFC veterans, the chances of them fighting inside the Octagon are slim to none. Liddell is however confident that the fight will take place with Oscar de la Hoya’s new mixed martial arts promotion and could even be the part of the first ever event under that umbrella.

“I will fight again,” Liddell declared.

“It’s a real thing. They’re working on it.”

While the deal hasn’t been finalized, Liddell is targeting a November fight for his return, which will be just before his 49th birthday. The location of the fight will likely be in either Las Vegas or California.

Fight fans believed “The Iceman” was only coming out of retirement for a chance to beat up Ortiz for a third time, but Liddell confirmed he’s fighting with or without the 43 year-old Ortiz.

“It does not hinge on Tito’s participation,” Liddell said.

Liddell said he plans on making some defensive adjustments to his game for his comeback and will try to avoid his old style of standing in the pocket and exchanging. While this may not be the news fans of “The Iceman” want to hear, he did promise he’ll still be the same heavy hitting guy he was before.

Mirko Cro Cop doesn’t expect Fedor Emelianenko rematch to ever happen

Few could have predicted back in 2005 when Mirko Filipovic and Fedor Emelianenko collided in the biggest heavyweight fight in MMA history that both men would still be going strong 13 years later, nonetheless still fighting under the same umbrella.

While each man has faced his fair share of false retirements in the years since their clash, the 43-year-old “Cro Cop” and 41-year-old Emelianenko have remarkably combined to win 14 of their last 15 fights. Both are also currently alive in Bellator's Heavyweight Grand Prix, with Emelianenko readying for a semifinal matchup against Chael Sonnen and “Cro Cop” set to rematch Roy Nelson at Bellator 200 for the right to become the first alternate into the bracket — all of which meansthere is a conceivable scenario in which a long-discussed Emelianenko vs. Filipovic rematch could actually take place under the Bellator banner.

Such a matchup would be a nostalgic blast to the past for fight fans who remember the madness that surrounded their legendary first meeting at Pride Final Conflict 2005, which Emelianenko won via unanimous decision.

But more than a decade removed from that magical night at Saitama Super Arena, Filipovic thinks the time may have passed to write a second chapter in his rivalry with Emelianenko.

“People are asking me all the time about that, but I don’t think about that right now.And I don’t think that fight will happen,” Filipovic said Thursday on a Bellator 200 conference call.

“It’s hard to say. There is no — I don’t have some special desire to fight him anymore, like I had before.Never say never, but I don’t think that fight will ever happen.”

The fact that Emelianenko vs. Filipovic II is even a realistic topic of discussion is remarkable considering where Emelianenko was in his career as recently as last year.

The Russian legend struggled mightily against light heavyweight veteran Fabio Maldonado in 2016, then suffered a 74-second loss to Matt Mitrione in his Bellator debut one year later.Because of that, Emelianenko was effectively an afterthought when Bellator’s heavyweight tournament was first announced, however things changed at Bellator 198 when Emelianenko scored a thunderous 48-second knockout of former UFC champion Frank Mir.

The performance showed that Emelianenko may indeed still have some gas left in his tank — although “Cro Cop” isn’t ready to proclaim Emelianenko as back just yet.

“Well, it was a good fight. If he’s back or not, I don’t know,” Filipovic said.“It was too short. The fight was too short, but good for him.”

Filipovic’s own career revival is as equally extraordinary to Emelianenko’s, if not more so.“Cro Cop” has won eight consecutive fights via stoppage since 2014, knocking out the likes of Muhammed Lawal, Baruto Kaito, and old rival Gabriel Gonzaga during that undefeated run.His upcoming Bellator 200 debut against Nelson serves as a rematch of a 2011 fight that Filipovic lost via third-round stoppage, perpetuating the revenge tour theme that began with Filipovic’s victory over Gonzaga.

As his age creeps upwards, “Cro Cop” says his motivation for continuing to compete in such a volatile sport is simple.

“It makes me happy,” Filipovic said.“That’s the most simple answer I can give to you.It just makes me happy.

“I train everyday, I train around the world, I fight all around the world. The last fight I had was in Tokyo, the next one will be in London. So I feel great. It makes me happy.”

After unsuccessfully retiring numerous times, Filipovic indicated that he is done setting an end date for himself in MMA.He plans to complete as long as he feels able to, and each outing could conceivably be his last.

“I will just do it as long as it makes me happy, and as long as my health allows me to keep fighting. So it can be one or two fights, it can be three, I don’t know.

Filipovic also noted that he holds no ill will towards Nelson for the defeat “Big Country” handed him back in the pair's UFC days, meaning there will be no promise of vengeance when Filipovic and Nelson lock horns for a second time on May 25 in London, England.

“That’s not my style, promising anything,” Filipovic said.“I am in very good shape and I’m looking forward to the fight.Roy is a great guy, very tough fighter, great fighter, iron chin, and I will have to do my best to beat him.”
