SWF: The Eisen Empire

[Eisen-verse]

This was another great show! Eric Eisen is an instantly dislikable character. You did a great job characterizing him. Valiant showing some teeth in standing up to him is a cool twist as well. I'm not sure what the heel vs. heel dynamic of Eisen vs. Remo will do to the rating of the main event of Nothing To Lose, though. Also, Angry Gilmore's ongoing decline into insanity to the dismay of his wife resulted in a positively poignant conclusion to this week's Supreme TV. I can hardly imagine the palpable emotion in that arena if an angle like that occurred in real life. It's like Elizabeth and Macho Man splitting up!

 

You know, I never thought of Angry Gilmore and Jessie as a Macho/Elizabeth-esque combination. I can totally see that. In my mind, I think of Gilmore as a Wolverine-like character who has gone "off the tracks", so to speak. He's volatile, out of control, and reactive to anything and everything. With this project, that view of Gilmore has been amped up and then some; creating an interesting story with Jessie and how he will go on from here.

 

As for Eisen, I've always been a big fan of him. The newest version of Eisen has some root characters that I can think of when writing him. I won't give those away but they help me form his persona as I write. Some are wrestlers, some are people outside of wrestling. Overall though, I think he'll deliver some good "punch me in the face" moments. ha.

 

As for Eisen vs. Remo, there is a lot more coming that will shed light on how this will work (as it pertains to creating a main event that will "work").

<p>This was a very good show, some storylines where created, such as Valiant vs. Eric Eisen whilst others where continued such as the Gilmore situation. (I love what you doing with Valiant)</p><p> </p><p>

It is also nice to see that I was mostly right in my Predictions (4 out of 5 isn't bad at all).</p>

<p>I love the premise of SWF Rise, so I'm going to put some bullet points here:</p><p> </p><p>

- Some of the match grades are unfortunate because the undercard talent in SWF is awesome. Hope the show helps them to build their pop quickly.</p><p>

- Dillon as a solo act is a great idea. He can break out and become a dependable upper-midcard in the future.</p><p>

- Can't wait what Sneer meant with "band of bruisers". A faction of only monster heels would be amazing.</p><p>

- Too Sexy (RIP Grandmaster)is an incredible tag team already. Roger Cage - now, Roger Sexy - fits with his new gimmick and having Joe Sexy as his mentor will do wonders with his skills and his popularity.</p>

I’m thinking of writing all of my upcoming shows in Docs and then releasing them as PDFs to read. This will cut down on a lot of extra work going into formatting each show. With school coming up again, I want to make sure that I have enough time to streamline the process. Knowing this, each show will be released as a PDF and a PDF and Post will be given to present the show.

I plan on presenting the PDFs to be read online. Also, I will have a log where you can access any episode, at any time. That said, it also works for the characters, as well. I've struggled on what to do with the immense talent of Roger Cage in the past. Here, I feel like I've found my favorite outcome for him; Roger Sexy (protege to Joe Sexy). Roger fits Joe's mold really well, a 'decent' wrestler who is more of a talker. This gives Roger a rub by working with Joe and also provides a character that he can grow into. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dillon</strong> is another character I've struggled with in the past. I enjoyed the "Buckwild" tag team in a previous project. Here though, I wanted to paint him as a small town, blue collar, thick Texan boy who's making good on a dream of his -- becoming an SWF wrestler. He's 'real' there; able to pull the average fan behind him due to his story and boyish kind of ruggedness. I'm excited to see how he evolves over time. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Sneer</strong> has a real direction ahead of him. The summary of his promo on RISE is a glimpse to that. In the end, he'll have a little group that will make an impact of their own. Will they dominate SupremeTV? Who knows, but they aren't at that level yet. Will they raise hell on RISE? That seems more realistic, at least for now.</p>

<p>First off been busy so haven't had time to check in so might be a little late to say but good show for that last supreme TV, I especially liked that opening between Bruce and Khoklov.</p><p> </p><p>

Or more specifically I like the build up to a little moment, having Bruce antagonise everybody from young bloods like Starr to Angry Gilmore despite the two being partners and Chase making a subtle reference to that by pointing out how nobody come to moan Bruce.</p><p> </p><p>

I also liked the main event, honestly thought Gilmore would get DQ as I did not expect Rogue to actually get a pin.</p><p> </p><p>

But that ending with Gilmore and Jessie if I ever start another SWF game I might end up stealing that idea as I've also struggled finding a way to book Gilmore's character with Jessie as valet while still keeping Gilmore..Angry I suppose is the word I'm looking for </p><p> </p><p>

Bret needs this win, he needs to keep building up credibility, and he needs to rise quickly through the ranks, the fans need to begin placing him higher than some lower midcarder, and the only way he can get that change in popularity is winning, and if he gets some kind of winning streak, makes it a more belieavable threat when he cashes in, and theres always the Greg factor, that he also grows by being paired with Bret

I feel the Pain Alliance, will build momentum, against the champions, but it isnt going to be BSS, is going to be Kurt, because even if it might happen, i cannot see a world where BSS beats a Bumfhole, even with cheating, he is somewhat good, but the bumfholes are too good to be beaten by someone like him, we all know Kurt Laramee is the star of that team.

 

Angry Gilmore vs. Frederique Antonio Garcia

Gilmore needs to get back some steam and momentum, and have him beat some lower guys, makes you put this feud on another level, signaling theis guys are at another level than the rest of the roster, and the best way to do that is for Gilmore to decapitate Garcia in live TV, it has to be a domination, it has to be difficult to see without feeling uncomfortable, you have to make it seem that someone beating Gilmore is very powerful, to be able to do so.

Brandon is entering a program with Joey Morgan, that in my opinion in more interesting than his feud against Valiant, so he needs to keep winning, because at his level is plausible, he could take the title away from Morgan, but he needs to bet the small wins, to make his claim, that he is first in line and future North American Champion.

Valiant needs to win, I usually woudnt bet againt ????, but Valiant is entering a feud in the top of the card, against an Eisen, who is the number one contender, and coming out of the PPV, Valiant needs to prove to the fans that he is a beliavable threat, and that he deserves to be close to the top of the chain

<p>I have to bring this project to an end. I know that won't sit well with some of you and I am okay with that. Not that I am dismissing your frustration, it's just that I know such a decision will often annoy a select few; regardless of my reasoning. Truthfully, as an elementary school teacher, I find myself with very little time during the school year (which starts next week). I saw, even during in-service, the little amount of "free time" that I have. This made the decision pretty easy to make. </p><p> </p><p>

I still love writing and I want to find an avenue to still do so. I need a "get away" hobby that allows something for me (especially with my life being about my students, my wife, my son, etc.). I need those things that are 'mine.' Knowing this, I don't expect to be away for very long -- unless I find a different avenue for my writing (poetry, short stories, etc.). </p><p> </p><p>

If I do make good on a new project down the line, it will be a small company that allows me to not feel guilty to only post a show a month (or every 45 days). While I like produced TV shows for wrestling products, I know that I simply cannot keep up with that sort of writing -- given how in-depth I like to write. This means that a small company, only having a show a month for awhile, allows me to run a project for quite some time; as I won't feel the stress of needing to "keep up." Instead, I can write infrequently (when I have time) and there will be a greater understanding of time between each event. </p><p> </p><p>

For those who follow me and my projects, thank you for doing so. You've been an amazing source of support. If and when I return, I hope that I peak your interest again. If not, I understand and I hope you find new projects that fill your interest (and possibly spark your OWN creative streak -- we need a lot of projects on the board!).</p><p> </p><p>
