<p>AAW All Action Championship Match</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Austin Smooth</strong> vs Bradley Blaze</p><p>

<em>I feel like Smooth is going to be champ for a while!</em></p><p> </p><p>

Also Featuring</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mario Heroic</strong> vs El Medico</p><p>

<em>Heroic will probably target Smooth soon, so keeping his momentum up.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Ricochet Ramone</strong> vs Cheech Kong vs Lion Heart</p><p>

<em>Bouncing back from his surprise loss. He's higher in the rankings than Kong and not in the dog house, like Lion Heart.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Fearless Blue, Mercury, Kid Fantastic vs <strong>Cobra and Hurt Squad</strong></p><p>

<em>Blue probably takes the fall.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Garry the Entertainer vs <strong>Monkey Maracuchi</strong></p><p>

<em>Maraguchi autopushed to main eventer in my diary-that-never-was, although admittedly that was in Japan...</em></p>

<strong>Austin Smooth</strong> vs Bradley Blaze</p><p>

<em>Blaze ain´t quite champion material just yet.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Also Featuring</p><p>

<strong>Mario Heroic</strong> vs El Medico</p><p>

<em>Medico is pretty solid hand at this point and could in theory go over anyone without hurting them much but I don´t see him putting himself over Mario.</em></p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Ricochet Ramone</strong> vs Cheech Kong vs Lion Heart</p><p>

<em>I could see Lion Heart taking this one as well but I´d figure Ramone gets a win after surprise loss last month.</em></p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Fearless Blue, Mercury, Kid Fantastic</strong> vs Cobra and Hurt Squad</p><p>

<em>Could go either way but you seem to be decently high on Mercury and win here is a nice way to keep him strong while he collects popularity and not make his opponents lose too much as they can be pinned but Kid or Blue instead.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Garry the Entertainer</strong> vs Monkey Maracuchi</p><p>

<em>I´d assume Garry has higher popularity at this point so I pick him over Monkey.</em></p>

<strong>The champion for the next generation continues his roll</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Also Featuring</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mario Heroic</strong> vs El Medico</p><p>

<strong>Mario going to try and climb the Mt again</strong></p><p> </p><p>

Ricochet Ramone vs Cheech Kong vs <strong>Lion Heart</strong></p><p>

<strong>I’m still STUNNED Blue beat Ramone. Let’s hope this is not a losing streak but I’ll say he doesn’t get the win here as Lion heart beats Kong</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Fearless Blue, Mercury, Kid Fantastic</strong> vs Cobra and Hurt Squad</p><p>

<strong>I can here the crowd not chanting.....Fearless..Blue...Fearless..Blue</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em><strong>Garry the Entertainer</strong></em> vs Monkey Maracuchi</p><p>

<strong>So one guy is named Monkey and the other has a pet monkey. This could be a huge series that ends up a battle for the monkey</strong></p>

Cobra may be the weak link here as he just seems to tire out quickly and he is taken down by the opposing team. Fantasm by Kid Fantastic is enough to keep Cobra down for the three count.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winners: Fearless Blue, Kid Fantastic and Mercury</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 44</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="7qJYhCO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7qJYhCO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Ramone is out and calls his match last month a fluke. One he won't allow to happen again. He says he knows he can already beat Lion Heart and Cheech Kong is a nobody. He is going to take care of these two then move on and face Austin Smooth to get his title back.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Rating: 33</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="7qJYhCO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7qJYhCO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="4kmAFEG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4kmAFEG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="i2KxQXc.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/i2KxQXc.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9uINBDT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9uINBDT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>Ricochet Ramone vs Cheech Kong vs Lion Heart with Billie Krystal</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Less frantic and more paced out than the last match. A good portion of the match is Ramone actually working with Cheech to try and subdue the larger Lion Heart and get him out of the match. Ramone eventually tires of that and attacks Cheech too. It becomes everyone man for himself and at one point Lion Heart goes for the pounce on Ramone. Ramone moves and Cheech eats it instead. Ramone quickly tosses Lion Heart out and steals the pin.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Ricochet Ramone</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 41</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="HRZVOIt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HRZVOIt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="fg3XDPU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/fg3XDPU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>El Medico vs Mario Heroic</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> A good technical bout between two veterans. A good bit of chain wrestling and countering before the pace starts to pick up. Mario gains momentum and starts to control the later part of the match. Medico manages a few small bouts of offense, but then gets caught with a Hero Attack rather suddenly.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Mario Heroic</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 46</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="EGtkACN.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EGtkACN.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>AAW All Action Canadian Championship</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="DLcYpsN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DLcYpsN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="tOgTJoE.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/tOgTJoE.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>Austin Smooth vs Bradley Blaze</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> A nice match that is a step above all the ones that came on before it. It is one of Blaze's better matches and the fireplug of a brawler looks close to scoring the upset a few times before Smooth settles down and starts to gain control with holds in an attempt to soften Blaze up for the Smooth Hold. Blaze fights back and picks up Austin as if about to deliver the Dallas Drop. Smooth manages to slip free and turn it into a Smooth Hold. Blaze fights, but they are in the middle of the ring and he has to tap out.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner and STILL champion: Austin Smooth (Defenses: 4)</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 58</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="BCTXdTB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BCTXdTB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Smooth only gets a moment to celebrate before Harry Chadwick comes out. He congratulates Smooth, but says next month Smooth will defend his title in a ladder match against Kid Fantastic AND Mario Heroic. Austin just stares on in disbelief as Chadwick smiles and walks off.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Rating: 41</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Final Rating: 49</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45603" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>El Medico: Undercard was serviceable overall, but the main event delivered nicely. Blaze did very and more than held his own in that match. He is becoming someone else that can be trusted to deliver solid matches. Him dropping weight I think has also helped him in general. He is more lean now and can keep up with the more speedy fighters now.<p> </p><p> Ladder match I hope will be a fun one. Kid Fantastic is a good talent, but still green, but Smooth and Heroic along with the ladder should more than help hide his shortcomings. We are slowly getting more fans again which is only a good thing.</p><p> </p><p> In other news people might have noticed Smooth is looking more muscular now. He has been working hard and trying to get himself noticed I think. The look is good and just makes him look like a legit badass. And speaking of legit badasses, it looks like Christopher Ball is taking a fight. Not too happy about that, but he is off to train in December so we have him for a few more months</p></div></blockquote>

I was unsure about hiring him at first as stated before. I didn't know until after I hired him he is a genuine cowboy and his gimmick is really just an extension of his real life persona. And while he comes off short tempered when in the ring he is a very nice guy behind the scenes and always wanting to learn and find ways to improve. His willingness to lose weight and get in better shape is proof of that.</p><p> </p><p> He joined MAW in 2013 which is always going to be helpful for a talent. The place has been run by legends that know the business and only want to see people succeed. He had a good three year run before he left in June. Not sure what happened there, but his contract came up and he moved on. Not sure if there was some sort of tension or if it was a mutual decision. Bradley doesn't exactly talk about it and I won't really press on the matter.</p><p> </p><p> He obviously wasn't out of work for long because he joined us in July and hasn't looked back. He has been with us for over a year and I don't see him going anywhere unless another company grabs him.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45603" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">AAW Taking Flight 22</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>AAW All Action Championship Match: Ladder Match</strong></p><p> </p><p> Austin Smooth vs Kid Fantastic vs Mario Heroic</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Also Featuring</strong></p><p> </p><p> Bradley Blaze vs Cobra</p><p> </p><p> Mercury and Monkey Maraguchi vs Kong & Medico</p><p> </p><p> Christopher Ball vs Fearless Blue</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote>

<strong>Austin Smooth</strong> vs Kid Fantastic vs Mario Heroic</p><p>

<em>I´m still going with Smooth.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Also Featuring</p><p>

<strong>Bradley Blaze</strong> vs Cobra</p><p>

<em>Blaze gets a bounce back win after an impressive performance in last month´s main event</em></p><p> </p><p>

Mercury and Monkey Maraguchi vs <strong>Kong & Medico</strong></p><p>

<em>Seems like Mercury and Monkey might be slighly above lose all matches jobbers (espesially Mercury who I believe actually has quite decent win-loss record so far) but I don´t think they are high enough on pecking order to beat one of the more established teams on Kong and Medico.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Christopher Ball vs <strong>Fearless Blue</strong></p><p>

<em>Ball is taking time of for MMA fight so I doubt he gets a push right now, plus Blue beat Ramone just recently and I´d assume that would lead into something so might as well keep Blue strong here.</em></p>

Harry: "You aren't letting JOJI get his title match?"

It is a question I asked myself a few times before Harry did. The deal is JOJI was never really injured, but I wanted to take a risk. I wanted to see how we would do without one of our top guys for a few months. This isn't like USPW or SWF. We can afford to lose a guy for a few months and test the waters. In the end it comes down to one thing.

Medico: "I trust him, but JOJI hasn't been in a ring since March. I want to make sure he has any rust worn off before his match with Austin."

Harry: "Fair. How long are you thinking?"

Medico: "In time. I am trying to think of where to place it. Everyone knows the match has to happen, but when?"

Part of me wants to do it at the Manitoba Cup. A rematch of the best match we have had in AAW a year later. At the same time would it overshadow the tournament itself? I admit I placed myself in something of a predicament. But still something was brewing in my mind. Something that would make all this work.

Medico: "I think I got it. Do you trust me?"

Harry: "I never question things. You have done me no wrong so far. Why would I believe you to do it now?"

Those words are enough to make me feel more confident in my plan.

<em>Mercury seems to be getting even bigger push than I thought but I still doubt he would go over Smooth, at least before he and JOJI had clashed for the belt.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Also Featuring</p><p>

Mario Heroic vs <strong>Ricochet Ramone</strong></p><p>

<em>First of the "I could see this one going either way" matches on this card. I feel that Ramone needs the win more here as he had bit of ups and downs since losing the belt while Heroic has been presented pretty strong so far.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Monkey Maraguchi vs <strong>JOJI</strong></p><p>

<em>JOJI gets some momentum after being MIA for few months.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Kid Fantastic vs <strong>Lion Heart</strong></p><p>

<em>Second one of the even split matches, in this case it´s more about rising star facing two times champion who´s perhaps on his way down? Either way, Lion´s former title reigns make him a contender to win pretty much any match still and considering I´m mostly "keep status quo" kind of guy, I go with Heart picking up a win over Kid who has plenty of time to raise on the ranks.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Jules Night vs <strong>Bradley Blaze</strong></p><p>

<em>Blaze seems to be doing more at the moment.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Fearless Blue</strong> vs Cobra</p><p>

<em>Third and last one of the match ups were I´m unsure about winner although this might be more because I like Cobra a lot. Still, despite that, I´m going opposite direction here pretty much for the same reason why I picked Blue last time, namely that win over Ramone likely leads to somewhere and Cobra ain´t big enough name to beat Blue after that kind of momentum gaining win.</em></p>

All Action Wrestling: Taking Flight 23

December, Week 1, Sunday 2017

Brandon Hall (Manitoba)

Attendance: 231

kpFkTn5.jpg

W22nA1O.jpg

JOJI comes out to kick things off and tells everyone he is glad to be back. He is also looking forward to getting into the ring for the first time in months and is looking to pick back up where he left off. He also isn't going to complain about not being put right back in the main event. His time will come and Austin's days as champ are numbered.

Cobra vs Fearless Blue

A rather short match to get things going for the night. While short it is a pretty even contest that sees Fearless Blue get one over the big man after hitting the Sky Twister Press.

Winner: Fearless Blue

Rating: 37

Jules Night vs Bradley Blaze

Another shortish match that gives Jules some more exposure and experience while Blaze gets to control the majority of the action. One Dallas Drop later and he picks up a victory.

Winner: Bradley Blaze

Kid Fantastic vs Lion Heart with Billie Krystal

Things start to pick up here in what is a surprisingly good match on Lion Heart's part. He is on his game and dominating early until Billie trips him up. This seemed far less an accident this time and when Lion Heart goes out to question her he gets a slap to the face. Kid takes advantage of the distraction and dives out the ring to wipe out the former champ. Kid starts to get momentum and when Lion Heart tries to get control again Billie once again causes problems and allows Kid to it the Fantasm.

Winner: Kid Fantastic

Rating: 48

Billie enters the ring and embraces Kid Fantastic and the two share a kiss. Billie claims she was tired of Lion Heart and has decided she wanted to be with a real winner and that winner is her boyfriend, Kid Fantastic. Kid Fantastic is showing a more cocky side while declaring next year will be his year.

JOJI vs Monkey Maraguchi

A good, fast paced match that shows JOJI has not lost a step during his time away. He also does well to cover up Monkey's weaknesses which allows for a short, exciting match that is won by JOJI after putting Monkey away with the JOJI Miracle Explosion.

Winner: JOJI

Mario Heroic and Ricochet Ramone

A hotly contested bout with two of the best in ring talents on the roster. The two are given plenty of time to put together a good match that is a mix of styles and constant shifts of momentum. It is hard to tell who is going to win it up until the end. Ramone gets the victory, though a bit of a tainted one as he rolled up Heroic after a missed Hero Attack and was using the tights for extra leverage for the win.

Winner: Ricochet Ramone

Austin Smooth © vs Mercury

JOJI and Austin's clash in March so far has to be considered the best match in the company's short history and this one almost manages to match it. The two styles blend well and Mercury just has great athleticism and an arsenal of crazy moves one never knows what he is going to do next. Smooth is on his game too which means a great title match and perhaps the exclamation point on his reign so far. Mercury comes close, but Austin remains on top and gets his opponent to tap out to the Smooth Hold.

Winner and Still Champion: Austin Smooth (Defenses: 6)

Rating: 59

Harry Chadwick comes out while Austin celebrates his win. Harry had been talking to JOJI in back and it seems JOJI made an odd request. One that Harry intends to grant. He tells Austin to find a tag team partner. Next month to kick off the new year it will be JOJI and Austin facing off in tag team action!

Final Rating: 50

El Medico: We made it through another year. It is crazy to think we have been around that long. We have a lot of contracts we need to work with right now coming up given most of these guys work year to year or in some cases two years. I am going to sit down with Harry and discuss what needs to be done and who we want to keep.

I think overall the matches did well. No one really was off their game tonight and it was capped by a damn good match between Smooth and Mercury. When I signed Mercury I wasn't sure what to expect, but he is quickly becoming someone the fans are getting behind and is showing he can thrive in any situation. Where this carries him will be interesting to see, but he is making a case to become a long time roster member.

The tag match thing is a bit out of left field, but admittedly it was an idea I got while working on the show. If it goes well I expect it to be a fun affair and a good tease on JOJI vs Austin part 3.

OOC: We made it through 2017, boys and girls. Expect some end of the year stuff to be posted soon before we go into year three!

AAW Year End Roster Review

Austin Smooth: Austin continues to improve and has become one of our most reliable acts. I don't see his position being threatened any time soon and as long as he is with us he'll remain at the top of the card.

Billie Krystal: Made the shift to put Billie with Kid Fantastic since they are really dating. It felt a bit rushed, but well there is a reason behind that. Truth be told if not for her dating Kid I might have let her go, but she is cheap and has a good attitude so she stays around for now.

Bradley Blaze: Blaze is doing well and had his contract renewed back in June. He was only a one year deal because I wasn't sure what to expect and he has become a good member of the roster. He signed a two year deal so will be with us through 2018 unless a bigger company grabs him.

Cheech Kong: Cheech has fit in pretty well and has mostly been doing tag work with me. He signed a new one year deal to see where things go. For now he has a comfortable position in the mid card.

Chikafusa Tadeshi: What a short run, but things just didn't work. Originally signed for a year we got rid of him early on just because he was not doing good at all*. He is a good guy and hopefully he finds work somewhere.

*He never had a performance rating in his match above 10

Christopher Ball: It is hard to gauge what we got with Ball. He got a handful of matches and then is going to be gone for a chunk of the next year training for a fight. Hopefully he comes back with a win and we can build off of that. Beyond that don't have much else to say about him.

Clarence Garcia: Clarence signed for two years and he is moving on. As a referee he was solid, but I felt he was asking too much money. This isn't a huge loss and I already have a replacement lined up.

Cobra: Cobra's contract has come up and he will not be coming back. He just never seemed to fit in and he just doesn't have the stamina for the more fast paced matches we offer. He is talented and I am sure he will find work elsewhere. He left on good terms and may come back.

El Medico: Not going to say much here obviously. Been teaming with Cheech Kong and we just have a natural chemistry. It has been fun and something different as I rarely got to do tag matches before this.

Fearless Blue: Blue is another guy in the comforts of mid card. He is improving, but still not able to break up into the higher reaches. He is still reliable and a good guy to have around. He renewed so will be back for at least another year.

Garry the Entertainer: I admit I never knew what to do with Garry. He just didn't seem like a good fit from day one. The guy is talented, but he is more suited for a company that focuses more on his strengths which is his entertainment value. He moves on and hopefully he can find more work elsewhere.

Harry Chadwick: Nothing really here. Harry continues to enjoy his time with the company and has been less hands on and is letting me have more control as time goes on.

JOJI: JOJI won the first ever Manitoba Cup with a great performance against Austin Smooth. Then I took a risk and he missed a good chunk of 2017. He was paid during his time off and he kept in shape. He showed no signs of rust in his first match back and he returns to the upper reaches of the card for hopefully a big 2018.

Lion Heart: After losing the title Lion Heart was a bit problematic. He started to be lazy in the ring and seemed uninterested in putting more effort into his matches. For that I decided to not renew his contract. This is why Billie split so suddenly instead of having more build up as I was giving Lion Heart a few chances to change things up. He didn't and for now he moves on. He left his mark in positive ways at least by being our first champ and first two time champ.

Jules Night: It is amazing how good his ring work is in some areas given this is his first real year in the business. He needs to improve in some areas, but he is good enough he is already helping put matches together along with myself, Ramone and Mario Heroic. I signed him for another year to allow him time to improve further.

Kid Fantastic: Kid is still very green, but has been working hard to improve. With the right guys he puts on great matches and I hope he continues to improve this next year. He has his girlfriend at his side and several friends in the back so I don't see him leaving any time soon.

Mark Smart: Solid year for Mark. He is a reliable act and a good guy. Sadly he lost his match to Austin Smooth and had to leave.

Mario Heroic: What a great veteran presence to have around. He is approaching forty and has a bit of a gut these days, but Mario has put on some good matches and doesn't seem to complain when I ask him to take loses. The man had his claim to fame in Mexico and I think he is just enjoying one last run and helping out younger wrestlers now.

Mercutio Sleep: Mercutio's deal came up in July and I decided not to renew it. Nothing against him, but he was just very uneven to the point I never knew if I was going to get a great match out of him or a very mediocre one. He is finding work at least and has wrestled five matches since leaving so hopefully someone picks him up.

Mercury: Mercury was signed to a one year deal to fill the void of Mercutio and Chikafusa leaving. What I didn't expect how fast he would adjust to our style and get the crowd behind him. He is a surprise story and be sure he will get a new contract once the current one runs out.

Monkey Maraguchi: Monkey came in much the same reason why I got Mercury. He is a big more green, but he has been showing improvement and is becoming a valuable member of the roster. A lot of Japanese talent started looking abroad this past year which has been a boon for us.

Ricochet Ramone: Up and down year for Ramone, but in the end he is one of our best so he has stayed near the top. I felt bad for him as well. He was hoping to be picked up by FCW this year who were expanding and looking for new talent, but a contract was never offered. I really hope one day he can go back to his home country and compete, but for now he gets a new two year contract to stay with us.
