He makes a few mistakes and California Kid for the most part carrying the match to something passable. Ramone came in overconfident, but he quickly finds Jules is more than prepared to play upset game. He uses his technical prowess to keep Ramone grounded most of the match and comes close to getting Ramone to tap a few times. Ramone starts to recover and finally get an upper hand. Once he gets rolling he doesn't stop and he picks up a tough win after a Ricochet Senton.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Ricochet Ramone</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 47</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="BE7xftI.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BE7xftI.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="1YhIAkj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1YhIAkj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>Dustin Deuce vs Jose Caballero</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Jose gets a taste of singles action against another one of the newer faces in AAW in Dustin Deuce. This is more a match to allow Dustin to show what he can do and while still green he does show some good promise. Jose does his part and he puts up a bit of a fight, but it is Deuce who gets the win with Deuces are Wild.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Dustin Deuce</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 28</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="OPeGLM8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OPeGLM8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> California Kid comes out ready for his semi-final match and talks about this being his coming out party. California Kid comes close a few times and he may have won with a handful of tights if not for the referee catching him at the last moment. That is the closest he ever gets because Firebird fights back and takes control. Heartburn to California Kid allows Firebird to advance to the finals.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Firebird</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 49</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="fg3XDPU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/fg3XDPU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="7qJYhCO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7qJYhCO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>Mario Heroic vs Ricochet Ramone</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Another solid match with a lot of back and forth action. The two men work a bit slower pace of a match than the previous one with more counter wrestling and less high flying. The match comes when Ricochet Ramone gets away with cheating unlike California Kid. He rolls up the veteran and he has his feet on the ropes when the referee counts to three.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner: Ricochet Ramone</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 50</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="gX4cugR.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gX4cugR.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="gX4cugR.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gX4cugR.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>AAW Tag Team Championship</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="4kmAFEG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4kmAFEG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="HRZVOIt.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HRZVOIt.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ncEGsPn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ncEGsPn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BnKRUWe.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BnKRUWe.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>Kong & Medico vs Mercury and Monkey Maraguchi</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Both teams give it their all to make the first match for the tag titles a memorable one and they put on a good match. A lot of crazy moves and back and forth action. Close falls for both teams, but it is Kong who gets the win for his team after Mercury and El Medico wipe one another out on the outside. Both men are a bit slowed it seems for wrestling so many times in such a short period which translates for a bit of a slower paced match. Ramone goes for the mask a few times and gets reprimanded each time. Firebird starts to make a comeback and Ramone manages to stop him for some time, but another comeback sees Firebird getting the better of Ramone and he hits a Heartburn.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Winner of the Manitoba Cup: Firebird</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="font-size:12px;"> Rating: 52</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="kpFkTn5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kpFkTn5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="EGtkACN.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EGtkACN.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>AAW All Action Canadian Championship</strong></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="W22nA1O.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/W22nA1O.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Oo3AVvJ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Oo3AVvJ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LQ0AVa0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LQ0AVa0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <strong>JOJI © vs Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> The challenger is a surprise opponent from CILL and he looks ready to take the title from JOJI. The finalists of the tournament switched about and I had Mario winning at one point as well as Fantastic having his breakout moment. Maybe I should have given them more time to rest because while good, the match was not close to what JOJI and Austin was.<p> </p><p> I decided to have JOJI close out against Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr since both men were fresh. It was a good match and I just feel at the same time I devalued the cup final. In the end I was just out of talent for a tag match. Didn't want to spend more to bring in more CILL peeps and my better options were Smooth (Too soon so got a little break) and Blaze who is still injured. Rest of the guys not being used were lower card or in Christopher Ball's case he is off training so I just decided on a singles match.
