Monday Night Raw Preview - Week 2 Tonight’s Raw features The Steiner Brothers vs. The Headshrinkers in the WWF Raw Tag Team Championship Tournament Final, and in honour of this huge main event it seems the whole of Raw has caught tag team fever! In a blockbuster contest Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart will team with friend Lex Luger to take on their Survivor Series opponents Ludvig Borga and the WWF Champion, Mr. Perfect. Remember last week that ‘Team Perfection’ claimed that one member of Hart and Luger’s Survivor Series team will betray the others and ally with ‘Team Perfection’. Hart suggested it might be Luger, Luger suggested it might be Hart. Find out if either are correct tonight. Elsewhere, Team Perfection members Bam Bam Bigelow and Diamond Dallas Page will team up to take on the party lovin’ duo, The New Rockers. Bigelow and DDP were unsuccessful in their tag team debut this week so will certainly be fired up for this match up. Although they vowed not to team with each other after defeat in the WWF Raw Tag Team Tournament, the friendship between Adam Bomb and Crush seems to have grown stronger. In recent weeks they’ve both had problems with Splash Mountain, Kamala and Alaska, and tonight’s Raw features a tag match between the teams. Will Adam Bomb and Crush be successful this team. The Ultimate Warlord has always fought alone, but it seems in his current feud with Rappin’ Rodney and The Samoan Savages, he is greatly outnumbered. The Warlord’s team mates at Survivor Series, Jimmy Snuka and Don Muraco are being courted by the Samoan Savages and have yet to make it clear where their allegiance lies. Tonight, The Ultimate Warlord will have to team with either Snuka or Muraco to take on The Faces of Fear, Haku and The Barbarian, and you can bet Rappin‘ Rodney will be involved in this match up. Also, look out for The Ultimate Warlord’s other Survivor Series team mates, The Giants, Gonzales and Silva, as they spend another session with The Wrestling Psychologist! Dr. Death Steve Williams was assaulted and left unconscious in the ring last week by Ludvig Borga and Team Perfection, but the Dr is one tough cookie and he’s back this week to team with Survivor Series team mate and Raw newcomer, The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith. The duo will look to build up some steam going into next month’s PPV as they take on Well Dunn, who are no pushovers. Will the accusation that one member of Dr. Death and Davey Boy’s team at Survivor Series is a traitor be weighing on their minds? Also, watch sparks fly as The Smoking Gunns take on ‘The Model’ Rick Martel and ‘The Doctor of Love’ Tom Prtichard. Confirmed Matches WWF Raw Tag Team Tournament Final: The Steiner Brothers vs. The Headshrinkers Mr. Perfect and Ludvig Borga vs. Bret Hart and Lex Luger The Ultimate Warlord and either Jimmy Snuka or Don Muraco vs. The Faces of Fear Adam Bomb and Crush vs. Splash Mountain Dr. Death and The British Bulldog vs. Well Dunn Bam Bam Bigelow and Diamond Dallas Page vs. The New Rockers The Smoking Gunns vs. ‘The Model’ Rick Martel and ‘The Doctor of Love’ Tom Pritchard
Predictions welcome

Monday Night Raw Results - October Week 2 1993 The sold out Madison Square Garden is tonight’s venue and the show opened with Raw General Manager Sgt. Slaughter and his assistant Hacksaw Jim Duggan making their way onto the stage. Slaughter got on the mic and welcomed everyone to a landmark Raw featuring the WWF Raw Tag Team Title Tournament between The Steiner Brothers and The Headshrinkers. Slaughter mentioned that this week both Raw and Smackdown would take place in Madison Square Garden and it was up to him to prove to these great New York fans (cheap pop) that Raw is the superior show. He and Duggan went on to cut a fairly lacklustre promo about Duggan’s scheduled Survivor Series match against IRS, in a Battle of the Brands match. Slaughter told Smackdown General Manager Ted Dibiase to prepare to lose. Slaughter then announced the first match of the evening, Adam Bomb and Crush vs. Splash Mountain would be fought under anything goes, falls count anywhere, Nuclear Warfare match rules, because he knows what you New Yorkers like. Match 1 Nuclear Warfare Match: Adam Bomb and Crush vs. Splash Mountain A decent crowd pleasing opener. The WWF characteristically kept the violence down, limiting the hardcore rules to simple aluminium baking trays and broom handles but the audience reacted fairly positively, nonetheless. The finish saw Adam Bomb hit the Meltdown on Kamala to pick up a big win. Winners: Adam Bomb and Crush After the match, Adam Bomb and Crush threw Splash Mountain from the ring and shook hands. They announced that together they felt they could beat anyone, especially under Nuclear Warfare rules. They then challenged the winners of The Steiner Brothers vs. The Headshrinkers to a WWF Raw Tag Team Title match next week as Raw went to it’s first commercial break. Back from the break and Vince McMahon and Jim Ross are at the announce table discussing the team of Giant Gonzales and Giant Silva and how they could be so dominant if they could just resolve their differences. JR said he wondered how The Giants and Mr. Fuji got on during this week’s visit to The Wrestling Psychologist. Vince said ‘let’s find out’. This week’s visit to The Wrestling Psychologist saw a mock WWF ring set up in The Wrestling Psychologist’s basement. The Wrestling Psychologist told Mr. Fuji that hypnosis and trips to theme parks would only go so far and now it’s time to see what happens when The Giants are in the ring together. Gonzales and Silva got in the ring and began scowling at each other. Suddenly an unnamed tag team of jobbers yelled ‘The Amazon Rainforest sucks!’ at them. The Giants clearly took offence to open mockery of their homeland and absolutely destroyed the hapless jobbers. The Wrestling Psychologist informed Fuji that next week, The Giants would return to Raw and the WWF Tag Team division had better watch out. After the break, Todd Pettengil was backstage with Ben Gunn and The Gunnslingers, Bobby and Bradshaw Gunn. The trio hyped their cousins Billy and Bart Gunn and backed them to win tonight and to win at Survivor Series. Unfortunately, Bradshaw Gunn was the only one even reasonably comfortable on the mic. Match 2 The Smoking Gunns vs. ‘The Model’ Rick Martel and ‘The Doctor of Love’ Tom Pritchard w/Brother Love Every week The Smoking Gunns do pretty much the same routine in the ring, but every week it gets pretty good fan reactions so they must be doing something right. The Smoking Gunns picked up the win after around 8 minutes. Winners: The Smoking Gunns After the match, The Smoking Gunns had no time to celebrate as their opponents at Survivor Series, Martel, Pritchard, The Brooklyn Brawler and Well Dunn attacked them. Fortunately, Ben, Bradshaw and Bobby Gunn came to their rescue and after a short brawl, The Gunn Family were left standing. Backstage, Lex Luger was with Todd Pettengil. Todd asked Lex whether he thought he and Bret Hart would be able to team efficiently tonight after last week’s accusations that one of them would betray their Survivor Series team and ally with Team Perfection. Lex said that he had proved his loyalty last week by defending his team and hoped Bret realised that, adding that he trusted Bret as long as Bret trusted him. After a short break, Rappin’ Rodney, The Faces of Fear and Afa made their way to the ring. Rodney got on the mic and informed Madison Square Garden that his boys, The Headshrinkers, would become the first WWF Raw Tag Team Champions tonight. Then he went on to run down his nemesis, The Ultimate Warlord. He told The Warlord that Jimmy Snuka and Don Muraco would soon become fully fledged members of The Samoan Savages and said it didn’t matter which one he chose as his tag team partner for tonight as The Faces of Fear were too dominant. With this, The Ultimate Warlord charged to the ring and roared outrageously. Vince McMahon and JR interpreted this as a signal that The Ultimate Warlord didn’t need a tag partner and would take on The Faces of Fear in a handicap match. Match 3 The Ultimate Warlord vs. The Faces of Fear w/ Afa and Rappin’ Rodney It’s pretty weird to think that two years ago The Warlord and The Barbarian were tag partners and now one is a generic midcarder while the other is one of the most over wrestlers in America. But that’s the way it is. Unsurprisingly, The Ultimate Warlord nosold all of The Faces of Fear’s offence and pinned Haku following a giant Press Slam. Winner: The Ultimate Warlord After the match, Rappin’ Rodney blindsided The Ultimate Warlord and Afa and The Faces of Fear joined in. Jimmy Snuka and Don Muraco made their way to the ring and were deliberating whether or not to help The Ultimate Warlord or to help The Samoan Savages. Before they mind up their minds, new music hit and Monday Night Raw witnessed the earlier than expected return of Giant Gonzales, Giant Silva and Mr. Fuji who sprinted to the ring and destroyed the heels. The Giants and The Ultimate Warlord stood victorious while Vince McMahon stated The Giants could be the most dominant team in WWF history as Raw went to a commercial. Back from the break and Team Perfection members Bam Bam Bigelow and Diamond Dallas Page made their way to the ring accompanied by Harley Race, Luna Vachon and The Diamond Doll. DDP took the mic and cut a pretty good promo about Survivor Series and told all the New York fans to look at The Diamond Doll, but not to touch. His promo was cut short by those feisty young go getters - The New Rockers. Match 4 Bam Bam Bigelow and Diamond Dallas Page vs. The New Rockers Bam Bam looked like he was enjoying completely dominating poor Leif Cassidy. This didn’t last long at all and DDP secured a very one sided bout after a Diamond Cutter on Jannetty. Winners: Bam Bam Bigelow and Diamond Dallas Page. Back from another short break and rather than a stupid angle, Raw goes straight into another match. Match 5 The British Bulldog and ‘Dr. Death’ Steve Williams vs. Well Dunn Here’s hoping that the WWF team Smith and Williams more regularly because they make one hell of a stiff tag team. Poor Well Dunn received several sick looking moves before the Oklahoma Stampede led to Williams pinning Timothy Well. Winners: The British Bulldog and ‘Dr. Death’ Steve Williams After the match, good ol’ J.R got in the ring to interview the victors. Davey Boy and Dr. Death said they were barely out of breath after that and challenged Bam Bam Bigelow and DDP, two of their Survivor Series opponents, to a match next week. Thank god that Jim Ross was involved in the segment because those two shouldn’t be allowed near live mics. Backstage, Bret Hart was taping his wrists for his match coming up next when partner Lex Luger walked in. The two shared an awkward stand off before Bret told Lex that after he came to his rescue last week when he was at the mercy of Team Perfection, he now realised that Lex couldn’t possibly be the traitor. He said that he now knew there can’t possibly be a traitor and it must just have been a mind game that Mr. Perfect was playing. Bret told Lex not to worry about their tag match tonight, because he has beaten Mr. Perfect before and Lex has beaten Ludvig Borga before. Then he said that ‘it’s show time’. Match 6 WWF Champion Mr Perfect and Ludvig Borga vs. Bret Hart and Lex Luger Not as good a match as we were hoping for. Perfect and Hart stayed untagged for the vast majority of the match, giving time to Luger and Borga, who clearly try their best but simply aren’t as good. After a decent enough 15 minutes, the finish saw Luger accidentally hit Hart with his steel plated forearm, allowing Perfect to roll up The Hitman for a tainted victory. Winners: WWF Champion Mr. Perfect and Ludvig Borga After the match, Hart was furious with Luger, yelling ‘traitor’ at him. Luger protested his innocence. The two began to shove each other but, before they could come to blows, their allies at Survivor Series, Dusty Rhodes, Davey Boy Smith and Steve Williams came out to separate them. Davey Boy told them all that the last thing The Steiner Brothers needed to be worrying about was their Survivor Series team when they were just about to become WWF Raw Tag Team Champions. Backstage, The Steiner Brothers were watching the action on the monitor. They agreed that there was no traitor in the group and also agreed that they were definitely going to become WWF Raw Tag Team Champions tonight. After the break, a short video aired, showing how the WWF Raw Tag Team Titles came to be created and how The Steiners and The Headshrinkers had reached the final. Match 7 WWF Raw Tag Team Title Tournament Final The Steiner Brothers vs. The Headshrinkers w/ Afa Clear cut match of the night despite worries that the worker’s weren’t over enough to justify the main event slot. The action was even and back and forth until about 12 minutes in when The Steiner’s dominance began to tell. When it seemed the match was won, Team Perfection and Ludvig Borga (The Steiner’s Survivor Series opponents) made their way onto the stage and gave a signal. Upon this signal Rick Steiner dastardly turned on his brother, hitting Scott with a Giant Bulldog. This allowed Fatu to climb the ropes and hit a big splash on Scott Steiner allowing The Headshrinkers to become the first ever WWF Raw Tag Team Champions. Winners: New WWF Raw Tag Team Champions - The Headshrinkers After the match, Team Perfection and Ludvig Borga climbed into the ring and applauded Rick Steiner who kept stamping on his brother. The audience were in a state of shock and Scott did a pretty good job of hamming it up, screaming ‘Why brother?’ at Rick. The heels all celebrated in the ring together as it dawned on Vince McMahon and J.R that Rick Steiner had been the traitor all along and Raw went off the air. Quick Results Adam Bomb and Crush defeated Splash Mountain The Smoking Gunns defeated Rick Martel and Tom Pritchard The Ultimate Warlord defeated The Faces of Fear Bigelow and DDP defeated The New Rockers British Bulldog and Dr. Death defeated Well Dunn WWF Champion Mr. Perfect and Ludvig Borga defeated Bret Hart and Lex Luger The Headshrinkers defeated The Steiner Brothers to become the WWF Raw Tag Team Champions
The Wrestling Newsletter - October Week 2 1993 Well, we admit when we’re wrong here at TWN, and we certainly did not see the Rick Steiner turn on Scott Steiner coming. However, we’re also of the opinion that surprise booking is not necessarily intelligent booking. Word from our WWF insiders is that Rick and Scott were unhappy about the turn angle, as it was suggested to them on the day. It is believed they were expecting a lengthy run as tag champs following their loss to The Legion of Doom at Summerslam and although they are both expected to receive singles pushes, their moral is apparently at an all time low. Still at least the Raw Survivor Series main event is now completely formed and looks like it could be ok. Hopefully The Headshrinkers will make good WWF Raw Tag Team Champions. We still have major doubts over Samu’s potential, but Fatu is certainly a sound long term investment. It was nice to see Adam Bomb and Crush together in a hardcore rules match against Splash Mountain. The WWF are said to be very high on both men due to their physiques and apparently want to push them as being in their element in their so called ‘Nuclear Warfare’ matches. The Gunn Family vs. a collective of lower midcard heels feud is very poor. Hopefully Billy and Bradshaw, the only two wrestlers in this feud with any potential, can use it as a platform on which to shine. We don’t see that happening though. The Ultimate Warlord’s routine is already pretty tiresome but the young fans seem to lap it up and that’s all that Vince McMahon cares about. Hopefully this story with Snuka and Muraco possibly aligning with The Samoan Savages against The Ultimate Warlord could be interesting depending on where it goes. As for the Samoan Savages, it’s nice that the WWF has built a stable around Rappin’ Rodney enabling him to hide away from opponents, thus limiting his ringtime, it’s just a shame that his ringtime is taken up by the likes of Haku and The Barbarian. The Giants (Gonzales and Silva) may in fact be the worst tag team of all time and we hope that something drastic happens to prevent them from ever having a match. At one point it seemed that the WWF would debut the real Hawk on Smackdown to feud with the impostor Hawke (Johnny Ace) over who would get to team with Animal. However, this plan now seems to have changed with the WWF announcing their interest in NJPW stalwart, Kensuke Sasaki. Sasaki and Hawk team in Japan as The Hellraisers. The plan would then be to feud LOD and The Hellraisers. This idea sounds almost too good to be true, so we’ll believe it when we see it. Expect development talents Ron and Don Harris to debut in the coming weeks on Smackdown. The pair are 6 foot 10’ twins and are exactly the kind of team the WWF like to push. It seems they will be playing bodyguards for the pintsized Dean Malenko, currently working as Russian mobster Dean Malenko. This is subject to change though. Smackdown this week could also see the return of Jimmy Del Ray. Not seen on WWF television since the draft split ended his team with Tom Pritchard, Del Ray is all set to redebut with a gimmick based around the movie Top Gun
...
Friday Night Smackdown Preview - October Week 2 1993 This week’s Smackdown features two stunning main event matches and is a 3 in 1 show extravaganza as Piper’s Pit and The King’s Court make their returns to Smackdown! Last week, the final of the Million Dollar Title Tournament was confirmed as ‘The Rocket’ Owen Hart defeated IRS and Razor Ramon, controversially, defeated Tatanka by disqualification. Tonight there is a chance for revenge as Owen and Tatanka team up to face Million Dollar Corporation members Razor Ramon and IRS ahead of next week’s tournament final. Truly a main event that cannot be missed. Another huge match was confirmed for Smackdown last week when the devious Papa Shango and his manager Harvey Whippleman challenged The Undertaker and Paul Bearer to a tag team match. Shango and Whippleman already have possession of The Undertaker’s urn and you have to believe they have something else up their sleeves tonight. Will The Undertaker’s girlfriend, Katie Vick, who was kidnapped several weeks ago on Smackdown, play a part in tonight’s proceedings? However, the biggest news from last week’s Smackdown was the stunning revelation that Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth are still married during Elizabeth’s planned wedding with the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Shawn Michaels. On tonight’s show, both sides will get to tell their stories as HBK and Miss Elizabeth appear on Piper’s Pit and Macho Man Randy Savage visits The King’s Court. Who knows what sparks will fly tonight. Coming off the back of their massive win in last week’s first ever Dostoevsky on a Pole Match, The Raw Youth (The 123 Kid and The ABC Boy) are in action again, this time teaming with the impressive Beverley Boyz, who are undefeated since dumping The Genius, to take on the dastardly Quebecers and Ted Dibiase’s Butlers, Virgil and Butler B. Ware in 8 man tag action. We all know that New York is the home of rap music, and as tonight’s Smackdown comes live from Madison Square Garden there will be an epic encounter between rap and country as Men on a Mission face Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie. Which musical style will be victorious tonight? Elsewhere on the card, two relative newcomers to Smackdown will face off as Benoit, the manly Canadian lumberjack, meets Dimitri Malenkov, the Russian mobster. Also, President Bob Backlund’s Secretary of Defence, the impressive Ahmed will be in one on one action against the man from the outer reaches of your mind, Damien Demento. Confirmed Matches: Razor Ramon and IRS vs. Tatanka and Owen Hart The Undertaker and Paul Bearer vs. Papa Shango and Harvey Whippleman The Raw Youth and The Beverley Boyz vs. The Quebecers and The Butlers Dimitri Malenkov vs. Benoit The Rock’n’Roll Express vs. Crime and Punishment Men on a Mission vs. Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie Ahmed vs. Damien Demento
Predictions welcome

Friday Night Smackdown Results - October Week 2 1993 The pyros exploded in Madison Square Garden as Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan welcomed everyone to a sold out Smackdown. The show began with a video on the Titantron, showing the feud between Papa Shango and The Undertaker. It focused on the disappearance of Katie Vick and the theft of The Undertaker’s urn. It seems that The Undertaker and Paul Bearer vs. Papa Shango and Harvey Whippleman is our first match of the evening. Match 1 The Undertaker and Paul Bearer vs. Papa Shango and Harvey Whippleman w/ The Urn The wrestler’s entrances were more exciting than this match, but when you look at the calibre of the athletes in the ring, that was to be expected. Shango and Whippleman did a good job of enhancing the importance of the urn, which is now in their possession, but it’s a shame they couldn’t do a better job in the ring. Thankfully it was kept short, around 5 minutes in, the Titantron showed images of Katie Vick tied up backstage and screaming for help. Upon seeing his girlfriend, The Undertaker walked out on Paul Bearer and headed backstage to find her. This allowed Papa Shango to dismantle Bearer and hit him with his weak looking shoulder breaker finisher to pick up the win. Winners: Papa Shango and Harvey Whippleman Backstage, The Raw Youth burst into Smackdown General Manager Ted Dibiase’s office and asked for a WWF Smackdown Tag Team Title shot against The Legion of Doom following their win last week in the Dostoevsky on a Pole Match. Before The Million Dollar Man could answer, The Beverley Boyz came in and also asked for a WWF Smackdown Tag Team Title match. Dibiase said he couldn’t pick between the two teams and announced that in tonight’s 8 man tag match (The Raw Youth and The Beverley Boyz vs. The Quebecers and The Butlers), whoever picked up the win would gain a WWF Smackdown Tag Team Title match for him and his partner. Elsewhere, Rob Bartlett was with Country Singing Sensation Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie. The pair slagged off New York City for liking rap music and not appreciating country music. The pair vowed to entertain the arena with a rendition of their hit single ‘With My Baby Tonight’ before their match, which is right after the break. The Roadie sure is good on the mic. Match 2 Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie vs. Men on a Mission Before the match, Jarrett and The Roadie were true to their word and sang to the crowd. However, Men on a Mission cut them off, receiving a minor pop for doing so and the match got under way. The match itself was standard TV quality, the finish came after The Roadie hit a punch combo, which Heenan informed us was called The Shake, Rattle’n’Roll, on Mo and Jarrett got the cover. Winners: Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie After the break, the ring is set up for another blockbuster edition of Piper’s Pit. Host Roddy Piper was already in the ring and informed fans that tonight’s Piper’s Pit was possibly the biggest of all time and, with that, introduced his guests, the WWF Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels and his fiancee, Miss Elizabeth. Naturally the pair received massive boos. Piper was aggressive with his line of questioning, accusing HBK of having no intention of really marrying Elizabeth and said it was an all act to get inside Savage’s head. Piper also tried to trick HBK into naming his fifth and final team member at Survivor Series. HBK didn’t appreciate Piper’s attitude and said he ought to teach him a lesson. The two agreed to face each other next week with the WWF Intercontinental Title on the line. Match 3 Dimitri Malenkov vs. Benoit Fantastic match. Thankfully the WWF gave them about 15 minutes, which although not long enough, is more than the average TV match. A brilliant display of holds and suplexes culminated in Malenkov forcing Benoit to tap out to his Moscow Cloverleaf, keeping alive his undefeated streak and adding another defeat for Benoit. Winner: Dimitri Malenkov A video then aired on the Titantron showing the Arizona Air Training Academy. A familiar face introduced himself as the academy’s top cadet, Maverick Del Ray. Del Ray informed us that he was taking his pilotting skills to the Smackdown and superstars better watch out because he said ‘I feel the need, the need for speed’. At the announce table, Monsoon and Heenan talked about last week’s Dostoevsky on a Pole match and how the losers, Crime and Punishment would be looking for revenge tonight against The Rock’n’Roll Express. Match 4 Crime and Punishment vs. The Rock’n’Roll Express Completely average, formulaic match. Crime and Punishment avenged their loss last week by picking up the win after Nailz pinned Ricky. The Rock’n’Roll Express really aren’t getting the crowd reactions they used to. Still more over than the New Rockers though. Winners: Crime and Punishment Backstage, The Undertaker returned to his dressing room after another unsuccessful search for Katie Vick. Paul Bearer was waiting for him and was furious with him for leaving him alone in the ring with Papa Shango and Harvey Whippleman. Bearer told The Undertaker that, so far, the most dominant superstar in WWF history was losing a battle of the minds to a voodoo shaman and a little idiot. Taker remained silent, but looked sullen. Elsewhere backstage, President Bob Backlund and his Secretary of Defence, Ahmed, left their dressing room when a paparazzi appeared and tried to photograph Backlund. The intimidating Ahmed snarled at the photographer, grabbed his camera and destroyed it with his bare hands. “What power!” exclaimed Monsoon. Smackdown then went to a break. Match 5 Ahmed w/President Bob Backlund vs. Damien Demento Another total squash victory for Ahmed. 3 in 3 weeks. Seems they’re really trying to build him up as he’s appearing in the main event at Survivor Series. Winner: Ahmed After the match, Diesel came out onto the stage and stared at Ahmed as if to say ‘I’ve got my eye on you’. Monsoon and Heenan fantasised about these two dominant superstars facing off at Survivor Series Backstage, The Million Dollar Corporation were in Smackdown General Manager Ted Dibiase’s office ahead of IRS and Razor Ramon’s main event match against Owen Hart and Tatanka. Dibiase briefed his troops, telling them that under no circumstances may Owen and Tatanka win tonight. He also told IRS to do to Owen and Tatanka tonight, what he indents to do to Hacksaw Jim Duggan in the Battle of the Brands match at Survivor Series. Match 6 The Raw Youth and The Beverley Boyz vs. The Quebecers and The Butlers It seems the WWF are spoiling us tonight with good matches. This could easily have been woeful, but thankfully they focused on Jerry Lynn and Jacques Rougeau who served up a very good encounter. The 123 Kid pinned Butler B. Ware after around 10 minutes to gain a number one contender spot for the WWF Smackdown Tag Team Titles for The Raw Youth. Winners: The Raw Youth and The Beverley Boyz After the match, The Beverly Boyz shook hands with The Raw Youth and shook their hands congratulating them on becoming number one contenders. Out of nowhere, the WWF Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Legion of Doom, appeared and destroyed both teams, hitting them all with The Doomsday Device. Back from a break and the ring is set up for the return of The King’s Court, Jerry Lawler’s own talk show. Lawler was in the ring and began by stating how his show was much better than Piper’s Pit. After running down Piper some more, The King introduced his guest, the ‘bitter, twisted, selfish’ Macho Man Randy Savage. The Macho Man came to the ring to a huge pop. Lawler berated the Macho Man for stopping the wedding of Elizabeth and HBK, accusing him of standing in the way of true love. Savage said Michaels was just using Elizabeth and he would prove it to the world at Survivor Series. Lawler got in Savage’s face and the two nearly came to blows before challenging each other to a match next week. Savage said that next week, Lawler would witness the one night only return of the MACHO KING RANDY SAVAGE to teach him a lesson about royalty. Match 7 Tatanka and Owen Hart vs. IRS and Razor Ramon Very good tag match featuring the semi finalists of the Million Dollar Title Tournament. The match featured interference from The Butlers, The Genius and Dibiase himself on the side of the heels, and Benoit and The Beverley Boyz for the faces. Owen thought he had the match won as he went to the top rope to splash IRS, but Razor came out of nowhere and gave him the Razor’s Edge from the top turnbuckle and pick up a victory ahead of their match next week for the Million Dollar Title. Winners: Razor Ramon and IRS After the match, the brawl continued until Ted Dibiase got the mic and announced that next week’s Tournament Final for the Million Dollar Title will be a lumberjack match, with lumberjacks chosen by himself. He also announced that at Survivor Series, Razor, The Butlers and The Legion of Doom will face Tatanka, Owen, Benoit and The Beverley Boyz as Smackdown went off the air. Quick Results Papa Shango and Harvey Whippleman defeated The Undertaker and Paul Bearer Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie defeated Men on a Mission Dimitri Malenkov defeated Benoit Crime and Punishment defeated The Rock’n’Roll Express Ahmed defeated Damien Demento The Raw Youth and The Beverley Boyz defeated The Quebecers and The Butlers Razor Ramon and IRS defeated Owen Hart and Tatanka

I'm still digging the comedy, mate... Dmitri Maleknov and the Doestovsky on a Pole Match... laugh out loud thoughts, well done. I'm very happy to see this back, I can honestly say this was one of the two-three diaries back at the time that made me want to give diary writing a go. So you definitely had/have an influence on me, and a sure fire fan. You make wrestlecrap good :D
