AA Arena, Miami, Florida:

Kurt Angle and Constable Corbin make their way down to the ring with microphones. Angle says that the time has come for Paul Heyman to get Brock Lesnar out here to make an appearance. After a short pause...

"Ladies and gentlemen..."

Paul Heyman appears on the ramp!

Heyman delivers his usual schtick in a bit more monotone way before Angle interrupts him and tells him to cut the crap! Angle says that Brock Lesnar is the worst WWE Universal Champion of all time and Heyman surprisingly agrees! Heyman says that he's doing his best to rehabilitate him, but Brock won't listen to him, hell he only barely tolerates him! Heyman tries kissing up to Angle by telling him that he wants to rebuild Brock in Kurt Angle's image. Angle has none of that and tells him that he's full of crap! Angle says that he's had enough of the sob stories and begins to tell Heyman that he's fired! However, Heyman gets down on his hands and knees, begging Angle to keep him around. Kurt doesn't seem to care and tries to announce his termination, but before he can...

Brock Lesnar's music hits!

A wide grin envelops Heyman's face as Brock makes his way down to the ring. Lesnar gets in Corbin's and Angle's faces and asks if they have a problem. Before either man can answer, Brock grabs Angle and hits him with the F5! Corbin gets the hell out of dodge as Brock hits Angle with another F5! Heyman and Brock stand tall together, but all of a sudden, Brock grabs Heyman by the face and puts him down on the mat! Paul says that he can't breate as Brock just stares him down. Brock eventually lets Heyman up and hits him with the F5!!!!!!!!!! Brock leaves the ring with his WWE Universal Championship as medics tend to Heyman and Angle as RAW comes to a close.

WWE superstar Sasha Banks has announced that she has quit WWE. Banks was apparently upset at her position in the company. She was really mad at the way her storyline with Bayley had been going. When the storyline had started, Banks was supposed to turn heel and feud with Bayley going into Summerslam, but obviously plans changed. This wasn't the main event that caused her to quit, rather it was just the tip of the iceberg. Banks still wants to wrestle, so she waved her 90 day no compete clause and is taking bookings.

Two nights ago on WWE Monday Night RAW, Paul Heyman was attacked by Brock Lesnar to close the show. This is expected to be the write-off for Paul Heyman. Brock will be going solo over the next few weeks until Summerslam, which is expected to be his final appearance for the WWE before going to UFC. Heyman was actually working on a per appearance deal and the WWE didn't really have anything planned for him after Lesnar left. Heyman is now apparently looking to take some time off before going back into the behind the scenes operations.

WWE have released two wrestlers this week. Those wrestlers are 205 Live superstar Buddy Murphy and NXT superstar Dakota Kai. Both wrestlers did not have 90 day no compete clauses in their contracts, so they are free to start taking dates immediately. There is no word on why both were released.

We have just received word that Jason Brown, the CEO of Anthem Entertainment and day to day officer of IMPACT Wrestling, has resigned from his position running IMPACT. IMPACT has already found an owner and it's someone who will come as a shock to a lot people. The new head of day to day operations in IMPACT is Paul Heyman! Heyman was contacted about the postition after word got leaked back in June that he wasn't going to resign with the WWE. Heyman has been apparently working with Scott D'Amore and Don Calis over the past few weeks to make sure he transitions in smoothly. No word from Heyman yet, but his first show under his reign will take place tonight, however the first shows he will actually book will take place in two weeks.

It is time for me to step back into the backstage side of things and now I'm ready to make IMPACT Wrestling...

Afterwards, Tessa cuts a promo and says that Allie is nothing more than an opportunist who only wants the Knockouts Championship. Blanchard says that if Allie thinks that she's going to get a title shot before her, she's got another thing coming! -The OGz defeat Two Local Talents after Homicide hits one of the local talents with Da Gringo Killer. -After the match is over, LAX run down to the ring with axes! Hernandez & King flee the ring, but LAX are able to stop Homicide. Before either member of LAX can use the axes, security runs down to the ring. LAX beats up security, but Konnan stops things from getting any wilder. -oVe and Sami Callihan cut a promo on The Lucha Brothers, promising revenge! -The Desi Hit Squad defeat KM & Fallah Bahh after Fallah Bahh accidentally distracts the referee! -Johny Impact promo on Kongo Kong is interrupted by Jimmy Jacobs, who tries kissing up to Impact. Impact punches him and says that he wants Kongo Kong! -Austin Aries defeats Dustin Cameron, an Anthony Carelli trainee, to retain the IMPACT World Championship in a glorified squash match. Afterwards, Aries avoids an Anthony Carelli attack and flees up the ramp. As Aries goes to leave, he is attacked by Eddie Edwards! Kross then puts Eddie to sleep with a chokehold! -Eli Drake defeats Joe Hendry after Grado accidentally causes a distraction while trying to stop The Cult of Tree from interfering. -Sami Callihan cuts a promo on Pentagon Jr., challenging him to a Mexican Death Match next week! -Allie defeats Su Yung by DQ after Tessa Blanchard runs in and attacks Allie! Comments: You need to sign Adam Brooks and pair him with Matt Silva and have them refresh the Tag division. Its full of guys with gimmicks that are feeling tired and played out. LAX needs to retain to get some sort of momentum but they aren't fantastic long term choices - like most of the roster. Impact is working with what it can afford.

Comments: Ughhh - just thinking about this match makes me throw up a bit in my mouth. The product is best served with a no result here though.

Overall comment - Impact … well this should be interesting. If I was running it 1/2 the males on the roster would be dumped when their contracts come up. It's a parade of mediocrity. Penta, Fenix & Morrison are a decent enough base to work from and I know they have financial limitations but when Eddie Edwards, Austin Aries, Sami Callihan and Moose are in your Main Event scene you are just treading water - there's a reason why they are now down to below 100,000 people watching the show and those names sum it up - Impact = Mediocrity. Interested to see how Uncrewed turns this around.

Eddie Edwards and Austin Aries start the match off, but Aries decides to just tag out to Killer Kross to start things off. Edwards tries hitting Kross with a lariat, but Kross grabs him by the neck and hits him with a chokebomb. Kross throws Edwards off the ropes and hits him with a big boot. Kross attempts a chokeslam, but Edwards elbows him in the head and hits him with a German suplex. Edwards tags out to Moose, who hits Kross with a leaping shoulder tackle. Moose throws Kross off the ropes and hits him with a big back body drop. The match comes to an end when Kross tags out to Aries and Moose tags out to Eddie. Eddie and Aries start beating the living hell out of each other until Edwards catches Aries with an olympic slam! Edwards then locks Aries in an achilles lock!
