<img alt="0wU2c2Q.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0wU2c2Q.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Danny Lashley woke up in a bed that was probably a little too small for him in an apartment that was livable but not the nicest place on earth. It got the job done, which is ultimately what was important. Lashley did not spend a whole lot of time here. He hit the gym or the road for the house shows. </p><p> </p><p>

He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and reached for the ever-present glass of water on his nightstand. He drank it slowly. Deliberately. Let the lukewarm water wash the metallic aftertaste of the sleeping pill he took last night to make sure he could fall asleep from his mouth. Lashley didn’t take the pills often. Just when he had had a big night and couldn’t get his mind to settle. He took Zoloft most days and while he did not like to mix Zoloft with sleeping pills, some days he needed the extra help getting to bed.</p><p> </p><p>

He’d been a pro for four years. He’d mostly toiled on the independent scene, though he had gotten a run with Championship Wrestling from Tennessee and Youth Action. They did not result in championships or a lot of major success, but the runs did catch the eye of Joel Bryant -- Joel was running CWT when Danny worked there. Joel had seen a resemblance between Danny and Clyde and when Robert needed somebody to fill a role, Danny got the call.</p><p> </p><p>

Danny didn’t *want* to be Danny Puder, the cousin of the brightest star to come out of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling. He wanted to be himself, Danny Lashley. He had visions of ten thousand fans in a sold out building screaming “Lashley, Lashley.” That had been his dream, but the reality was -- SWF, TCW, and USPW never called. He had been four years into a career that while he was getting work was not taking off with the sort of speed he had hoped. Robert Oxford had called and offered a chance. Come play Danny Puder, the cousin of Clyde Puder and get in the mix with Homegrown’s angle with Money Talks. It was an opportunity -- an opportunity that Danny was going to take.</p><p> </p><p>

If he was ever going to get ten thousand people to cheer anything, he had to take the breaks that came. He might not have wanted to be Danny Puder, but that is who he was now. Lots of people had played the role of cousin or brother or whatever for someone else to get their break. This was Danny’s. He was going to take the break as it was presented. At home, in the confines of his apartment, he was still Danny Lashley. The six foot six guy with anxiety that was diagnosed and being treated properly and the occasional problem sleeping. In public now, he was Danny Puder. The six foot six cousin of Clyde Puder who grew up farming just like Clyde. Danny did not grow up farming. He didn’t know the first thing about farming. He was from Connecticut. His father worked on the New York Stock Exchange and his mother worked in admissions for a small private New England college. He was the definition of white collar. He just happened to be tall with auburn hair and beard and could pull off the overall look and country boy feel -- that was what was most important. He had to look the part. He did. </p><p> </p><p>

He would bide his time. Eventually, Robert Oxford would see that his potential was to be more than the gimmick cousin of Clyde Puder. Or Allen Packer would. Or Eric Eisen would. Or Pee Wee Germaine. Or Alex DeColt. Or Joaquin Soler. Someone who wasn’t in league with Oxford would be able to tell. He just had to work hard and impress and then who knew? Eventually he would stand on his own. He knew that. That’s why he wasn’t complaining. Yet.</p><p> </p><p>

He took another drink of water and reached for his cellphone. He had a ride to catch to make the plane to make the house show. God he loved this business.</p>

Enjoyed reading that. It's an endearing quality to see a character who thinks like that, he knows he has to go out of his box in order to get noticed. I was wondering if he was a newer regen or if he had been around for a few years, as I assume he was a hillbilly regen. Another guy to route for now though, will be interesting to see if he actually gets along with Clyde, haha.

Al retired pretty quickly into the game, Pete stuck 'round a little while longer. Funny enough, I had *almost* hired him before Clyde went to USPW to have Clyde and Danny team up as The Puder Cousins then for a feud with Riley and Aroma, but then Clyde left and I went towards the World Title with Riley.</p>

MR: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed edition of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from The Junkyard! We’re back in the beautiful, but wet, Midwest of the United States and what a show do we have for you tonight. Paul Huntingdon and Guide will go toe to toe in our main event, Killer Shark and Scout will be in action and so much more!</p><p> </p><p>

RDJ: Guide and Scout have been on a bit of a slump recently. Let’s see if the veterans can get back on track with some singles wins tonight.</p><p> </p><p>

DH: Not likely! The Blueblood has his match with Guide in the bag and there is NO way that Scout can stand up to the monster that is Killer Shark.</p><p> </p><p>

AS: I have just been informed that my opponent at the Oxford Invitational will be Foxxy LaRue. I don’t know much about Foxxy. I know she’s supposed to be tough. I know she’s supposed to be one bad mama or something like that. I know what I’ve been told. I’ve seen some footage, some highlights, and while she’s good for what she is -- she isn’t in my league. I’m the North American Women’s Champion. I’m Alicia Strong. I’m the best women’s wrestler on the planet. I’m elevating women’s wrestling to the same level as men’s wrestling. I’m the game changer. Foxxy LaRue isn’t. That’s the difference. At Oxford Invitational V, Foxxy is going to learn that difference. Just like Lucy did. Just like Amber did. Just like Houston did. Like Jaime did. ‘Cause in the women’s division, only one style reigns supreme -- and that’s strong style.</p><p>

SS: A crime was committed in front of five thousand fans and another four hundred thousand people watching on their television screens. They watched a crime of grand larceny be committed. Matty Faith stole the North American Heavyweight Championship from me. He stole that beautiful silver championship from me. That championship that was custom made so that it could one day be held by someone with my pedigree. Matty Faith *stole* it. He didn’t beat me like a man. When I went for my Supreme Stunner -- which would have ended the match -- he raked me in the eyes to get the advantage. He cheated. He is a paper champion and I will get my North American Heavyweight Championship back. I will do whatever it takes to get a rematch and to get my belt back.</p><p>

Ross slipped the scratching device -- a fork -- into the gap in his cast so he could scratch his arm. In another two weeks, he would be out of the cast -- at least if everything went as it should. This wasn’t Ross’ first broken bone -- but it was his first pro wrestling related injury outside of a sprained ankle. In his football career, Ross had suffered more than his fair share of injuries. His career had ended because of injuries. He was a very successful football player. He had twice won Defensive Player of the Year. He was the deciding force in the National Championship when he was in college -- he was a finalist for the Heisman and as a professional he led the Colorado Rapids to the Superbowl. Twice. Back to back years. In the process, he turned himself into a millionaire. And not by a small margin. The last contract he signed was a five year sixty-two million dollar deal -- with fifty million guaranteed. Money was not an object in Ross’ life anymore. With his football career over, he had decided to become a professional wrestler.</p><p> </p><p>

Three months of private training with Dread -- the Titan himself -- before Dread passed away and Ross made his debut. It wasn’t long before the Eisen Empire came calling and he was headed to Rhode Island. He had become the face of the developmental program. Heavyweight Champion. Main event star. Paying his dues. The Eisen Empire never called him up. He stayed in developmental. Then he left. By his choice. He wanted to be a player. If he was going to wrestle, he didn’t want to just do it for the feeder league. He was a star -- not in the arrogant way -- in the reality of who he was kind of way. Ross Henry was, at his core, a businessman. Or, in the words of Jay Z, he wasn’t a businessman, he was a business...man. He knew how to market himself. He knew what he was worth. He understood the value he brought to the table.</p><p> </p><p>

To a wrestling organization, Ross Henry was an instant mainstream attraction. He brought eyeballs to the program. Mainstream press coverage. Sports Center. Sports Illustrated. Pardon the Interruption. The Herd. Undisputed. First Take. These were all shows or publications that he could bring to the table from his name value. When he left the Eisens, he was not sure where he would go. Robert Oxford had made him an offer.</p><p> </p><p>

Ross Henry was the highest paid member of the roster. He knew that. He had signed an exclusive contract with the CWL as soon as it was offered to him. It wasn’t the money that he was concerned about -- but he liked Oxford’s marketing plan. Oxford rolled Henry out. He put him in the local markets to do radio, to do local television. He used Ross’ media savvy, he used his good looks and natural charisma. He used Ross how he should be used -- and Ross liked that. He liked the understanding of business that Robert Oxford came with.</p><p> </p><p>

He also liked that Oxford didn’t do what RIPW did. They didn’t rush him to the top. Sure, he had eventually beaten Riley McManus for the COTT World Heavyweight Title -- before he had the exclusive contract, but he has not won the North American Championship. He’s stayed away. He’s been in featured, big time programs. He’s gotten main events, but he hasn’t monopolized the championship. He liked that. It meant that Oxford had long term plans. He wasn’t trying to use Ross as his top guy before the fans would buy it. Ross was now in his seventh year as a professional. It was believable now. He had paid his dues. He had earned it. </p><p> </p><p>

Ross had made sure that he ingratiate himself to the locker room. He didn’t change by himself. He didn’t flaunt that he drove a Porsche or lived in an eight thousand square foot mansion in Cherry Creek. He kept his mouth closed. He listened. He came on his days off to work out and train. He showed that he meant it. He had earned the respect of the locker room. He knew that once the cast came off it was a matter of time until he was featured in the title program and he was ready for it. He was finally ready.</p>

CV: At Oxford Invitational V, Bowen Services takes its next step towards championship gold when I go one on one with the monster, Raymond Diaz. The monster… The most feared American to ever step foot into a Japanese ring. I know all about Raymond. My uncle wrestled him. My father wrestled him. He’s a bad man, that’s for sure. But I’m a bad man too. I may not be a monster. I may not be six feet nine and three hundred pounds, but at Oxford Invitational, Raymond will find out that the Vessey blood runs true in me and I will bring the Monster to his knees.</p><p>

I want to be the face of Puerto Rican wrestling. To do that, I have to silence the Canadian Machine… I think I’m up to it. Hell, I know I’m up to it.</p><p>

<p>Loved the Henry narrative, seems like the exact type of mindset I'd expect him to have. Plus, 7 years in the business is a long time for him. Champ before the end of the year!</p><p> </p><p>

Also, don't know what it is about Giant Brody in this, especially since you haven't exactly done much with him, but I want him to succeed. Is he performing decently, or is he being carried to solid/good matches?</p>

Right now he’s victim of being a good worker in the middle of the midcard. There are some things I have planned that will hopefully give him more to do other than just being a guy on the roster. </p><p> </p><p> Thanks for the feedback!!</p>

United States Championship

"The Puerto Rican Wrestling Machine" Xavi Ferrera versus "The Canadian Wrestling Machine" David Stone ©

Difficult pick. Stone has been booked ultra strong and could win to retain here, but Xavi's one of the few people who could beat him, plus Xavi's momentum will stall if he fails here. Maybe the torch is passed here and Stone moves on to bigger things.

Jaime Quine versus Brooke Tyler

Another hard pick. Brooke's been featured a lot, booked strong and her physical style fits CWL better than Quine's, plus CWL seems to have a thing for second generation talent

"Bulldozer" Brandon Smith versus Andrew Harper w/ Lisa Bowen

Smith has more upside by far, unless he's into hard decline

I wanted to let you all know that the shows are coming. I suffered a pinched nerve in my right arm (which happens to be my dominant hand and arm). It'll go away -- it just means that I've taken some time away from serious typing to try and rest the arm. The shows are run and I'm just working on the match summaries! I just wanted to update you all on the progress.

This is the most prestigious Tag Team Tournament in North America -- if not the World. It is right up there with PGHW’s Elite Series Tag Tournament and North of the Border Pro Wrestling’s esteemed Ed Henson Memorial. Tonight, round one of the tournament will commence with sixteen teams competing across eight matches. The winners will move on to the second round tomorrow. Also tonight, in our main event, the United States Championship is on the line as Xavi Ferrera and David Stone, two proud men who are considered to be wrestling machines will go one on one for the hotly contested championship.</p><p> </p><p> RDJ: Tonight is the night that Tag Teams make their legacies. Georgia Bulldogs. The Keith Brothers. The Devil’s Rejects. The Mission. The four previous winners of the tournament -- who are also competing tonight. All four of those teams have achieved major success. Georgia Bulldogs were the only team to successfully defend the North American Tag Team Championship in the tournament. The Keith Brothers won the COTT World’s Tag Team Titles in their tournament. All sixteen teams in this tournament are championship caliber teams. All sixteen teams in this tournament have won championships as teams -- there is not a team in this tournament that does not have some sort of success as a team.</p><p> </p><p> DH: Can I say how upset I am that there is no team representing Bowen Services in the Oxford Invitational? We had room for Yano & Kikuchi from Japan -- who are freelancers -- and room to bring in The American Cobras, but we don’t have room for Bowen Services? This is a travesty -- and one that I have taken up with the Continental Wrestling League Board of Directors and management staff. I talked directly to Hailey Hunter about it.</p><p> </p><p> MR: And what did she have to say?</p><p> </p><p> DH: Well… She shut the door and said I’m not supposed to come to her home. The very experienced duo is multiple time European Tag Team Champions and are one of the most respected duos in European professional wrestling. The Keith Brothers are the reigning North American Tag Team Champions and both are very technically minded duos. At Gold Rush VI, Lars Brecher was very impressive in a singles match against “Bulldozer” Brandon Smith and returns to CWL with his longtime partner Ralph Grimm.</p><p> </p><p> In a very technically minded match up, the two teams started the tournament off very nicely. The largest man in the match, Matthew Keith, was in the ring for the majority of the match and Grimm/Brecher went to work on him. They showcased some slick technical teamwork, double suplexes -- in particular a suplex where they each locked Matthew in a Greco-Roman Knuckle lock and brought him over. Matthew made the big tag to Greg. Greg as able to hit some deep arm drags and then a big single leg takedown on Ralph Grimm that he turned into a Porton Lock for the submission.</p><p> </p><p> The Keith Brothers defeated The German Machine in 11:55 when Greg Keith defeated Ralph Grimm by submission with a Proton Lock.</p><p> </p><p> Ralph Grimm was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. </p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Match</strong></p><p> Twenty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Oxford Invitational Opening Round</span></p><p> <img alt="gP5kPOf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gP5kPOf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="x1nYqNN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/x1nYqNN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZPSijPY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZPSijPY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZjCgexS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZjCgexS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LC8rqZh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LC8rqZh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The Mission versus The Devil’s Rejects w/ February Malaise</p><p> </p><p> Two teams that are not strangers to one another. Both teams are former COTT World Tag Team Champions and are a year and a half removed from an intense feud over those particular sets of World Tag Team Titles -- a feud that saw some spectacular matches with some great wrestling and four men who were willing to do whatever it takes to win. This match was no different. They came out of the gate showing that they were very familiar with one another. Both are former winners of the Oxford Invitational Tournament and they really went at it. It was a good back and forth tag team match from two teams that are very similar in size. Matty Faith is a heavyweight and Johnny Anderson are both heavyweights, while Ranger is a big heavyweight and Keith Holly is a super heavyweight. Ranger was stuck in the ring and looking for a tag to Matty Faith, but Faith had been pulled off the apron and hit with a Supreme Stunner -- all behind the official’s back and was laying on the outside. Ranger got hit with a Reaper Breaker and Keith Holly got the pin to secure The Devil’s Rejects an opportunity in the second round of the tournament.</p><p> </p><p> The Devil's Rejects defeated The Mission in 12:42 when Keith Holly defeated Ranger by pinfall after a Reaper Breaker. Harper is the low man on the Bowen Services totem pole. Brandon Smith is one of those guys who is right on the cusp of big things. He could be United States Champion, he could br North American Champion, he could even be World Champion. Brandon and Andrew worked a very snug, physical, old-school brawler contest that ended when Brandon got the slightly-smaller-than-him Andrew Harper up and hit him with the Tombstone Piledriver. The crowd really reacted to seeing such a large man get piledrove.</p><p> </p><p> Bulldozer Brandon Smith defeated Andrew Harper in 8:14 by pinfall with a Tombstone Piledriver.</p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Match</strong></p><p> Twenty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Oxford Invitational Opening Round</span></p><p> <img alt="OtmREcU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OtmREcU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XwOFMsF.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XwOFMsF.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="zo9Y2Iq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zo9Y2Iq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ppevbn4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ppevbn4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Los Monteros versus Yano & Kikuchi</p><p> </p><p> This was a battle of two international teams. Los Monteros are one of the top teams in Mexico who recently reuinited with Luis Jr. rejoined OLLIE after several years working for EMLL. Gino is the reigning Campenato de Universal in OLLIE. Yano & Kikuchi are former PGHW standouts. Yano left PGHW and spent four years with BHOTWG before it closed, and Kikuchi ended up leaving PGHW because even though he is still in his early thirties, his body is rapidly breaking down from not only the physical style of Japan, but also two torn ACLs, a torn rotator cuff, and a torn bicep. Kikuchi is a shell of the promising athlete he once was, but reunited with his partner BISON Yano, he was able to conserve his body.</p><p> </p><p> This was a real clash of styles with Los Monteros using the traditional lucha libre blend of technical wrestling and high flying and Yano & Kikuchi using the traditional Japanese strong style. Luis hit a beautiful dropkick, as good looking of a dropkick as exists in professional wrestling, that sent Kikuchi over the top rope and crashing to the floor. With him down, Gino was able to launch of the top rope and hit a beautiful Montero Press onto BISON Yano that allowed Los Monteros to get the three count and advance in the tournament.</p><p> </p><p> Los Monteros defeated Yano & Kikuchi in 8:41 when Gino Montero defeated BISON Yano by pinfall with a Montero Press.</p><p> </p><p> Gino Montero carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. </p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Match</strong></p><p> Twenty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Oxford Invitational Opening Round</span></p><p> <img alt="HXLpdxw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HXLpdxw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="h4VCDrQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/h4VCDrQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="kwBHUSB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/kwBHUSB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5zd6Wk0.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5zd6Wk0.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Georgia Bulldogs versus The Northern Lights</p><p> </p><p> The Northern Lights were the most dominant tag team in Scotland for quite some time, racking up multiple tag team titles before Tommy and Edward starting British Pro and they found themselves, while still in Scotland, with a gig on a much bigger platform (though probably almost as well funded). Both are products of the Ring of Fire dojo and despite being big, hulking physical specimen that throw hands with the best of ‘em, but also technically solid workers that possess the kind of fundamentals that one would expect from students of Robert Brown. </p><p> </p><p> The Georgia Bulldogs were the winners of the first Oxford Invitational and former North American Tag Team Champions. McManus has clearly continued to fine-tune his body in the gym. The muscle mass he showed off at Wrestling Summit has toned out some, giving him a very impressive light heavyweight physique. The two teams had a good solid wrestling bout. KC was in the match for the bulk of the time and really flew around the ring for the bigger wrestlers, really making them look dangerous. The former World’s Junior Heavyweight Champion kept fighting back up and made a big diving tag to the former two-time World’s and North American Champion. The Cornerstone came in with offense for days. He dumped Vicious and hit Jordan with his trademark Slingshot Suplex to punch The Georgia Bulldogs ticket to the next round.</p><p> </p><p> Georgia Bulldogs defeated The Northern Lights in 13:27 when Riley McManus defeated Riddick Jordan by pinfall with a Slingshot Suplex.</p><p> </p><p> In terms of in-ring work, KC Glenn was head and shoulders above everyone else. </p><p> <img alt="ZSlyKQ6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZSlyKQ6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Grudge Match</strong></p><p> Singles Match</p><p> Twenty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="xAgKRGK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/xAgKRGK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="6ZE9A6x.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6ZE9A6x.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Jaime Quine versus Brooke Tyler</p><p> </p><p> This was a match that has been building since Wrestling Summit last month when Brooke Tyler cost Jaime the World Womens Championship. Ferrera and Stone went at each other, each man trying to win -- the ultimate name of the game. They are both considered to be wrestling machines of their native land. Ferrera has more experience as a professional, but David Stone has the business in his blood. The first third generation of the legendary Stone family, he has lived up to the legacy so far.</p><p> </p><p> They went back and forth in an excellent contest. Several times, Xavi showed the athleticism that made him the standout wrestler for PSW (well him and Logan Diaz). Stone showed the technical wrestling that has made every member of his family a champion and a major attraction in the sport. Several times David went for his German Suplex that has won him many matches, but each time Xavi got out of it. Xavi went for several big neckbreakers that were unable to find the mark. Eventually, David was able to get Xavi down and lock in the Stone Ankle Stretch for the victory.</p><p> </p><p> David Stone defeated Xavi Ferrera in 23:43 by submission with a Stone Ankle Stretch. First, I want to give a special thanks to southside_hitmen who encouraged me to try out this format. You'll notice, it looks very similar to his. It's the same base code with some obvious changes (images, background, etc.). Thank you to him for providing the base code and being so encouraging. Another thank you goes to my wonderful wife [who is not, at least to my knowledge, a member of the GDS forums. She is the one who actually deciphered the code, helped me change the colors to fit and made the header, footer, and side graphics that were used here. I wanted to update the look of the shows and provide something different while still retaining some of the feel [that's why the matches are all in the same kind of box and the angles are in the quotes now, to help differentiate them but not do the separate backgrounds for each segment like SSHM does). Night Two will probably be up in a day or so. I still have to do the summaries for it -- and it will depend on how my arm is doing for the speed/duration in which I write. Thanks!</div></blockquote>
