<em>I'll go against the grain here and predict Faith retaining. Street fight is a good stipulation for a heel to cheat galore only for the resilient face to push through and win. Once again we are live at the historic Lowe Ballroom and I am joined in the broadcast booth by my broadcast partners, the legendary Ricky Dale Johnson and the Marshall, Duke Hazard! Tonight, Matty Faith and Spencer Spade go one on one in a Street Fight for the North American Heavyweight Championship. The Keith Brothers put the North American Tag Team Championship on the line against Gangsta Nation and so much more! This should be a great night of professional wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> RDJ: It definitely should be, Michael. Matty Faith and Spencer Spade have been at each other for months. It all started when Matty Faith won the New Year’s Rumble at the beginning of the year. Five months into the year and they’re looking to finally settle things. It will not be pretty -- in fact it will probably be the exact opposite of pretty, but one man will be left standing and that man will be North American Champion.</p><p> </p><p> DH: They’re gonna settle it like men have settled things for thousands of years. Two men. Their fists. Their toughness. Settling a score. I love it. It ain’t about competition. It’s personal. It’s two men who hate each other and want to cause bodily harm to one another. It’s going to be something to remember.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Opening Match</p><p> Singles Match</p><p> Twenty-Five Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="DYWnfnr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DYWnfnr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="Vws8VjV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Vws8VjV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="zVOpvjf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/zVOpvjf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> “The Man Without Fear” Sonny Wildside versus “High Flyin’ Hawaiian” James Adams ©</p><p> Sonny Wildside was making his CWL return here after a few years working for CGC up in Canada. In his time there, he had toned his body up even more and came back looking extra shredded. He came to the ring with an attitude though. Not the daredevil youngster he once was, now he was portraying a cocky heel who believes he’s the best junior heavyweight on the planet. James Adams took umbrage with this -- because James Adams is the World Junior Heavyweight Champion with eleven successful defenses of his championship since he won it in March at Wrestling Summit. He’s been tearing down the house with appearances in PGHW where he has two A rated defenses. James believes, with evidence to prove it, that he’s the best junior heavyweight on the planet.</p><p> </p><p> The two men came out of the gate with a lot of energy. This was clearly a match designed to get the crowd excited for all of the matches to come. They went back and forth -- Sonny showed some great heelish work. He would hit a move and then taunt instead of capitalizing, which James then used to his advantage to stay in the match. Sonny was overconfident and eventually it led to him trying a big moonsault after he had wasted too much time. Adams got his knees up so that Wildside crashed rib first onto his knees. Adams followed that up with a Pacific Crush and defense number twelve was in the books.</p><p> </p><p> James Adams defeated Sonny Wildside in 10:11 by pinfall with a Pacific Crush. James Adams makes defence number 12 of his GWC World Junior Heavyweight title. </p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Tag Team Match</p><p> Twenty-Five Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="HXLpdxw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HXLpdxw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="h4VCDrQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/h4VCDrQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZPSijPY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZPSijPY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZjCgexS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZjCgexS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LC8rqZh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LC8rqZh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The Georgia Bulldogs versus The Devil’s Rejects w/ February Malaise</p><p> </p><p> A grudge match. Four men who don’t really like one another -- and two teams that are wrestling with something to prove. Both teams made it to the semi finals of the Oxford Invitational before losing. Both teams have won the Oxford Invitational in the past and both teams are former North American Tag Team Champions -- with the Rejects holding the record at four reigns.</p><p> </p><p> This match was the classic Southern-style tag team match. The Georgia Bulldogs are a classic southern babyface tag team. KC Glenn, the smaller man, can sell and let the heat get put on him and draw sympathy with his excellent facials and body language. The bigger Riley McManus can make the save and can hit some high impact offense that blends power and technical. The Devil’s Rejects are the perfect Southern heel team. Big and strong and mean and nasty with an offense that fits.</p><p> </p><p> It makes for a match that really draws the crowd in -- and the crowd was into this match. Johnny and Keith kept KC isolated for most of the match and used their power and size advantage to well, their advantage. Big slams. Elbow drops. Leg drops. Chokes when referee Darren Smith was out of position. Hard forearms -- and even a closed fist from Keith Holly that almost got the Rejects disqualified (closed fists are illegal in Continental Wrestling).</p><p> </p><p> Riley got the tag after KC hit a Tune Up The Sunshine Band on Keith Holly out of nowhere and bought him enough separation to make a huge tag to Riley. The kick had not dropped Keith like it would if KC had gotten all of it -- but it staggered the big super heavyweight just enough. Riley came in and immediately knocked Johnny Anderson off the apron. He went to work on Keith. Big forearms. A knee to the gut. Anderson got back on the apron and blind tagged Keith Holly right as Riley went for the Slingshot Suplex. Riley hit the Slingshot, but when he went for the cover, Darren Smith emphasized that Johnny Anderson is the legal man.</p><p> </p><p> While Darren explained this to Riley, Johnny slipped something that February Malaise gave him into his right boot. Johnny came in the ring and Riley turned around to face him and immediately got a big boot in the face -- from the boot that Johnny loaded. Riley dropped like a sack of rocks. Johnny made the cover.</p><p> </p><p> The Devil's Rejects defeated Georgia Bulldogs in 11:32 when Johnny Anderson defeated Riley McManus by pinfall after using a foreign object.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><img alt="9CEP5Gv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9CEP5Gv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="mgsmc0P.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mgsmc0P.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="o3PEmtO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/o3PEmtO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="akRbp1S.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/akRbp1S.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> LB: Tonight, Bowen Services will reclaim the North American Heavyweight Title when Spencer defeats that creton Matty Faith. They looked like the unit they have become. Father and Uncle Raymond (father of James and uncle of Logan) led the younger Diaz’ to the ring like a player/coach. A man nearing the end of his professional career, though he still has some miles left in the tank. Some good miles, especially in teams. Logan and James are still young and not in their prime -- that’s right, Logan is still probably a year or two off of his prime. James still has several years to go before he hits his prime, and already that are World Six Man Champions. Already all three of them have held the North American Tag Team Championship, Logan and James have each won Gold Rush and each been North American Heavyweight Champion and James also was United States Champion. This is a family of achievers. Of achievement.</p><p> </p><p> Bowen Services, while not family, has a legacy of success. Five North American Heavyweight Championship reigns, a United States Championship reign, three North American Tag Team Title reigns, a North American Women’s title reign, two World Heavyweight Title reigns, three World Tag Team reigns. A Gold Rush tournament victory. They have been a successful collective. Tonight, they were competing for World Six Man titles.</p><p> </p><p> This was a competitive match. The three big Diaz family members punished the Bowen Services group -- but Bowen Services dealt it right back, particularly Vessey and Aroma. Harper looked like a deer in headlights. He looked like a man overwhelmed by the moment and when James Diaz hit him with an Asian Thumb Spike and got the one, two, three, Andrew Harper had to deal with the realization that he is now no longer employed by Bowen Services and thus, no longer employed by CWL.</p><p> </p><p> Diaz Family (James Diaz, Logan Diaz and Raymond Diaz) defeated Bowen Services (Cameron Vessey, Jeffery Aroma and Andrew Harper) in 12:51 when James Diaz defeated Andrew Harper by pinfall with an Asian Thumb Spike. Raymond Diaz and The Diaz Cousins make defence number 2 of their GWC World Six Man titles. </p><p> </p><p> Andrew Harper was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. </p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p><img alt="3msiqkr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3msiqkr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WIgT1ne.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WIgT1ne.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="y9l6Ubu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/y9l6Ubu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2NhBQ8m.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2NhBQ8m.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> </p><p> A camera is bouncing. This is their third match up since Alicia Strong joined CWL. They are 1-1 against each other. Jaime took the first match up at Halloween Throwdown with a roll up -- that was a successful title defense for Quine. Strong took the championship and the victory at Thanksgiving Thunder with an Angel Driver. That was November 2021. Now six full months later, they are meeting once again. In the past six months, Alicia has had a death grip on the championship, defending it twice against Amber Allen, against Houston Handley, Foxxy LaRue and even former champion Lucy Stone-McFly. Each outing, Alicia has gotten better and better and while her opponents have put up good fights, they’ve yet to be able to equal the intensity that Alicia Strong has brought.</p><p> </p><p> This was a sensational contest. Jaime Quine looked like she was equal to everything Alicia Strong had. They went back and forth, with each woman hitting big move after big move -- including Alicia Strong hitting her Strong Arm that got her a two count. Alicia went to follow up the Strong Arm with an Angel Driver -- the move that put Jaime away back in November, but Jaime managed to keep her momentum going so that as she was lifted she rolled through and landed on her feet. This stunned Alicia, who then got caught flush with a K.O. Kick.</p><p> </p><p> Jaime Quine defeated Alicia Strong in 23:12 by pinfall with a K.O. Kick. Dan Stone Jr. is 49 years old. He’s been retired for close to a decade now. A sensational grappler in his time, it hasn’t been his time for a long time. His son David has nine successful defenses of the United States Championship. This was not a match with any sort of family jealousy. Not a single strike was thrown. This was a father wrestling his son. Going hold for hold. The icon of Canadian wrestling against his progeny. While Dan Stone Jr. is clearly not the wrestle or athlete he one was, he still knows all of the tricks and several times he almost pinned his son, but David kept finding ways to keep his shoulder off the mat and avoid being locked in the Stone Ankle Stretch that his father made famous the world over.</p><p> </p><p> The younger Stone was able to lock his father in a waistlock and lift him and take him over for the textbook German Suplex that David has won so many matches with. He kept the bridge and Dan Stone Jr. did not kick out.</p><p> </p><p> David Stone defeated Dan Stone Jr in 12:32 by pinfall. Father and son. This was just an exhibition for them. Dan wanted the chance to wrestle his son once and CWL granted him that. David got to wrestle, and defeat, his father in front of a sold out crowd. They hugged and the crowd cheered approvingly… Until Monty Trescarde and Carl DiBiase blindsided the two men! The Fat Cats put the boots to both father and son, beating them down into the mat. The wild, hardcore, vicious brawlers of Gangsta Nation against the pure wrestlers, The Keith Brothers. The clash of styles made for a thrilling contest. Ali and Muvva attacked with a reckless abandon. They didn’t care about their bodies, their wellbeing, nothing. They cared about winning the North American Tag Team Titles. The Keith Brothers wrestled a match that would have fit right in with their time in Japan. As technical as they are, they are also just as comfortable being extra physical and they were extra physical in this contest.</p><p> </p><p> Matthew Keith and Sayeed Ali ended up fighting on the ramp, exchanging big strikes to one another there were staggering each other. Brother G slid Hustle Muvva a blackjack, and Muvva brought the blackjack around on the side of the head of Greg. This, of course, led Ray Johnson to disqualifying Gangsta Nation -- but it also left Greg Keith knocked out on the floor.</p><p> </p><p> The Keith Brothers defeated Sayeed Ali and Hustle Muvva in 17:20 when Hustle Muvva was disqualified while fighting Greg Keith. Spade versus Faith. A Street Fight. Two men who can’t stand one another. Two men who have wrestled previously (with a 1-1 record). Two men who want to prove that they are the top guy in CWL, but more importantly, two men who want to put each other out of CWL. This was a contest fitting of a main event.</p><p> </p><p> Spade and Faith went at it. It was intense. There was furniture involved. It got violent. This was not a match that the Eisen’s would have put on air, but if this had between thirty years ago in the Texas Wrestling League? It would have fit right in. Faith hit a snap suplex on Spade that took him from off the ring apron onto the floor. Spade back body dropped Faith into the guard rail and caused the whole guardrail to shift.</p><p> </p><p> Faith hit the Leap of Faith on Spencer Spade -- jumping from the top rope to the announcer’s table -- the first time in CWL history that the announcer’s table has been broken. This really hurt Michael Riggs feelings especially, as they did not remove any of the ringside monitors (because why would you? You’re trying to hurt your opponent after all).</p><p> </p><p> Faith was not able to immediately capitalize, because of the damage he sustained on the jump as well. He got Spade into the ring and started to climb… but suddenly..</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="H9RnzgB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/H9RnzgB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Ash Campbell leapt the barricade. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pair of brass knuckles. He spun Matty Faith around and cold-cocked him. One shot from the brass knuckles left Matty Faith out cold. Campbell pulled Spade onto Faith and Darren Smith had no choice but to count the one… two...three..</p><p> </p><p> Spencer Spade defeated Matty Faith in 31:34 by pinfall with a Supreme Stunner following interference from Ash Campbell. Spencer Spade wins the CWL North American Heavyweight title. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p>

We've also officially passed a full year of Saturday Night Slammaster on the air (technically we passed it when we hit Week 2 of May, but May was the month we debuted the show I'm very pleased with how SNSM has developed and the momentum I've been able to keep. I'm also trying something new with the new signings profiles for the people who are random gens (which these guys are). I will try to continue to do them when they come up -- I'll do them for random gens and regens as I sign them. Please let me know what you think. <p> </p><p> <em>And... Who do you think the major signing is? Who is going to change the landscape of CWL? If you can correctly guess it, I will DM you with some sort of prize! You'll probably get to choose someone for a narrative or someone to potentially call up. So it could definitely be worthwhile.</em></p></div></blockquote>

<p>I think Talia Quinzel is 100% gonna be a star for you. She is another woman I would build a division around. </p><p> </p><p>

The only release that comes as a little surprise to me is Andrew Harper as he seemed to be doing a bit with you, but even then I'm not that surprised.</p><p> </p><p>

Is Kikkawa a freelancer? Maybe he could have a one off match in CWL?</p><p> </p><p>

Interested in this major signing. I don't have a clue who it could be but I'm going to throw a random name out there just incase... Aaron Andrews? Dunno if he's big enough but still.</p><p> </p><p>

As for the new signings profiles, I hope you continue to do them as you signs regens. It gives them some character and gives us something to look forward to in the future. Caron seems promising in particular.</p>

It doesn't help that I took Foxxy, Tex Max and The Uprising from them to bolster my women's division. So they lost five quality women who were performing. OLLIE has signed several women that were working for both to full time contracts, but they're hanging in there.</p>
