He's still got a ways to go, but I'd compare him to Logan or James Diaz. Raw, with a lot of potential to develop if he's used.

He hoisted Riley into the air and rested him on his shoulder. He took three big steps forward and slammed the champion down into the mat. The Patriot Powerslam almost shook the ring and the crowd went silent with anticipation. Alvin Lavin was there for the one...two...three...

It was the best moment of Clyde's life. It was his crowning moment. This was his moment, after all. Wrestling Summit V. The biggest show of the Rocky Mountain calendar -- and this was for him. This was saying that he was the man. Riley had done a fantastic job for the last year as the champion. He had built the prestige of the belt even higher. He had found new levels of work, but in this moment, with Alvin Lavin raising his arm and his other hand on the Rocky Mountain Heavyweight Championship, Clyde knew that he was destined for great things. He had made the climb. He had started at the bottom.

He worked his first professional match in April of 2017 in a loss to Phillipe LeGrenier. Phillipe was gone. Then he lost to Scythe and worked a couple of multi-man matches. He had six pro matches his first year. Split them down the middle. 2018? Twelve matches and he won ten of them, but he was on on Rocky Mountain Live. He was being groomed, he knew that. Won the first ever Top Graduate tournament and then won the Can-Am Championship. 2019 he worked eleven times. Seven and four, but had worked a good program with Primus Allen and Bowen Services -- won Gold Rush and knew what he was destined for. This moment.

He knew the wrestling world was watching. It wouldn't be long know. Packer..Eisen...Stone...DeColt...Nova...Germaine... One of them was going to come calling. He had proven himself to be a reliable in ring worker. He had proven himself to be a good promo. He had proven himself to be a bankable star. He was six-feet-ten. He was over three hundred pounds and he was in shape. Riley doing the favor for him tonight was what he needed.

Puder was loyal, but not to a fault. He didn't want to wrestle in front of three thousand people; he wanted to wrestle in front of thirty thousand people. He wanted to be a household name. He wanted lunchboxes, action figures, backpacks, everything. He wanted to be Sam Strong. For three years, he had proven himself by rising the ranks. This Championship win was going to be his meal ticket. He just knew it.

Disappointed that Riley dropped the belt.
Oh wow, missed an entire page and ended up predicting on a show that was already posted... I'll echo Theheel about Puder's win, I liked heel McManus as champ and understand the reason behind Riley going over, I'm just thinking those two deserved a proper full blown feud first, this one felt a little rushed.

Robert Oxford Invitational Finals

Block A Winner versus Block B Winner

Can Am Blondes vs Diaz

People named Diaz have been pushed hard but I can't remember them winning the Oxford Invitational

Lisa Bowen’s Mystery Opponent versus “The Hillbilly Hammer” Clyde Puder ©

New guy debuts strong so he can feud with Puder. Clyde is white hot by this point, so he can take a loss and keep going

“The Anvil” Mark Griffin versus “Marvelous” Marv Statler w/ Lisa Bowen

Same reason Waldorf loses earlier

Diaz versus Rejects

Blondes need a babyface rival for the finals. Really hope the brackets were different, I'd love to see this matchup in the finals

Can Am Blondes versus Stars & Stripes

Going with the Blondes here on grounds that American Machine is too old to last all the way to the final

“The Assassin of the Squared Circle” Ernest Youngman versus “The African Assassin” Lassana Makutsi

At first I thought Makutsi would dominate before Youngman made the comeback, but he needs at least one win to make that comeback seem credible instead of trying to sell us how he beat a guy that was 6-0 ahead

“Glorious” Logan Diaz versus “Deadly” Dean Waldorf /w Lisa Bowen

Waldorf is a tag team specialist and the other guy's last name is Diaz. Nuff said

Representing ZEN: Warp-Jump versus The Devil’s Rejects [Holly & Anderson]

Bikers beat the cartoonish duo and look mean doing it. Interested to see how Warp-Jump performs though

The Diaz Family [James & Raymond Diaz] versus Shadaloo

Shadaloo are being subtly pushed, but not to the point where they'd beat anyone named Diaz

The Can-Am Blondes versus Hawaiian Boys 2.0 [Adams & Weatherfield]

Representing CILL: The Wildfires versus Stars & Stripes [American Machine & Masked Patriot]

The 80s called, said they'd like to see these guys feud with the Red Army

It wasn't supposed to go down like this. I wasn't supposed to have to pull the title off of Clyde so quickly. I had him go over Riley at Wrestling Summit V to prepare us for a big babyface champion. It was supposed to be a coronation. He was going to carry the mantle while I spun Riley off into bigger things -- Riley was going to be the face of the COTT for awhile. We had agreed. Sam and Joel and Cliff and Larry and Troy and I. That was enough votes to make it happen. Riley had proven himself to be a consistent performer who performs at a high level. He could wrestle, he could talk, he was in shape and was professional. He was going to get to carry that mantle while Clyde would carry the Rocky Mountain mantle.

Then Robbie Sanchez called Clyde with a boatload of Allen Packer's money. They wanted Clyde. They called him the day of the Invitational. The God d*** day. He didn't sign then, but he was going to sign. He told me so. So I had to scramble to change plans. I had to put the returning Atlas over. Clyde would not be here for Fire on the Mountain and I wasn't sure if he'd be here for the next RMW Live. Depended on when they want him to start.

I threw my water bottle at the wall. This one hurt. It hurt more than Jakob Yoder leaving. It hurt more than Running Wolf or Marshall leaving. I had built Clyde from nothing. I had taken a raw-boned country boy with a lot of potential but was as green as grass -- and I booked him into a regional star. I understood why he was going to take the deal. He was young. They had more money than the federal government. They had international distribution. He wanted to be the next Sam Strong or Bruce the Giant. I understood it, but I hated it. This one hurt.

Josh would not be a long term champion. I had not brought him back to be a long term champion. I wanted a babyface champion for a little while. I had some good top heels that could use a babyface to chase while Riley becomes the face for the COTT. Now I just had to figure it out.

God d*** it, Clyde. God d*** it Robbie and Allen. You just had to screw me.

What a loss, losing Clyde so soon kinda hurt, I wanted to see him become the face of RMW. But the show must go on, I am interested to see who takes that top babyface spot, since I can't see anyone built up enough to take. Who knows, maybe this is Mark Griffin's chance to seize the brass ring.
