Kudos for the visual upgrade and shout out to southside_hitmen for his part in it. Gotta say I was a bit shocked to read about BHOTWG closing (don't think you've brought it up since the financial scandal) and Duane Stone being out-worked my Mort and Whittaker.

I mean, I did include it in a news post that they ended up getting bought out by me and that's how I was able to secure Logan, Raymond, Pavel, and Nigel. But that was in the Fall of 2021 and you might have missed it. They were $100,000 in debt ('cause that's how much of my war chest I lost). I was very surprised about Duane... But, he is in his late forties now and will probably be hanging them up soon.

Mort and Whitehorse have turned in to pretty solid workers who could do well in any territory right now.

Once again we are live at the historic Lowe Ballroom and I am joined in the broadcast booth by my broadcast partners, the legendary Ricky Dale Johnson and the Marshall, Duke Hazard! Tonight, we will find out who will raise the Oxford Invitational trophies above their head, plus Alicia Strong defends the North American Women’s Championship against Foxxy LaRue, Cameron Vessey and Raymond Diaz go one on one, and “The Hillbilly Hammer” Clye Puder goes one on one with “The Blueblood” Paul Huntingdon.</p><p> </p><p> RDJ: It should be a great night of professional wrestling action, Michael. The Keith Brothers and the Rejects showed excellent tag team chemistry. Another tale of the solid technical wrestling of the Keiths against two big bruising men. The crowd was on their feet as the four men really took it to each other -- Keith Holly continued to show himself as perhaps the stand out wrestler to ever graduate from the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling. He hit a running Senton on Matthew Keith that looked like it crushed his ribs. Matthew tagged in Greg and while Greg was trying to fight off the Rejects, Gangsta Nation’s Sayeed Ali hit Matthew Keith on the apron. Greg Keith ate a Reaper Breaker from Keith Holly.</p><p> </p><p> The Devil's Rejects defeated The Keith Brothers in 12:52 when Keith Holly defeated Greg Keith by pinfall with a Reaper Breaker following interference from Sayeed Ali.</p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> <img alt="LqKqiEK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LqKqiEK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="j3Mq0eH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/j3Mq0eH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />vs.<img alt="DBD7zMH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DBD7zMH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="d9BATji.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/d9BATji.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The Rejects roll out of the ring and Hustle Muvva joins Sayeed Ali ringside. The two men begin to brutalize the Keith Brothers. Sayeed looks under the ring and pulls out a tool box (in CWL, there aren’t weapons just lying around). He withdraws a wrench used for tightening the turnbuckles to make sure the ropes are tight. He pulls Matthew Keith up and drives the wrench into his windpipe. The crowd lets out an audible gasp as Matthew clutches at his throat. At the same time, Muvva hits a piledriver on Greg Keith. Backstage personnel hit the ring to pull Gangsta Nation off of the Keith Brothers.</p><p> <img alt="vPM9lw6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vPM9lw6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p></p></div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><div></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Match</strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Oxford Invitational Tournament Quarter Finals</span></p><p> <img alt="HXLpdxw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HXLpdxw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="h4VCDrQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/h4VCDrQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="poFp2Ka.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/poFp2Ka.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="cQq0hR1.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cQq0hR1.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The Georgia Bulldogs versus The Fat Cats</p><p> </p><p> In a first-time match up, The Georgia Bulldogs and the Fat Cats had a sensational wrestling affair that was only hampered by the fact that Carl DiBiase sprained his ankle early into the match and so he was a little hobbled and it hurt his performance. The two teams really went at it with KC and Riley showing that fluid teamwork. Riley the powerful technician with strong suplexes, KC the Junior Heavyweight who can literally do everything he needs to do in a wrestling ring. At one point, Riley had Monty stretched over a knee and KC springboarded into the ring to drive his own knee into Monty’s face. </p><p> </p><p> Riley and Carl were in the ring, Carl going for a sleeper hold that Riley reversed and pushed away. Carl came back and ate a quick headbut that set up Riley’s pattened Slingshot Suplex and punch their ticket to the next round.</p><p> </p><p> Georgia Bulldogs defeated The Fat Cats in 13:32 when Riley McManus defeated Carl DiBiase by pinfall with a Slingshot Suplex.</p><p> </p><p> Carl DiBiase was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. </p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Singles Match</strong></p><p> Twenty Five Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="pHT7jeO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pHT7jeO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="mgsmc0P.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mgsmc0P.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9CEP5Gv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9CEP5Gv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> “The Monster” Raymond Diaz versus Cameron Vessey w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p> </p><p> In another first time match up, the legendary big man Raymond Diaz and Cameron Vessey. There is a legacy here. Raymond has battled both Cameron’s father and his uncle in singles and tag team matches. When the Vessey Brothers were employed by PGHW, they had wars with Raymond Diaz. Wars that all three men, and Lee Wright (Raymond’s long time tag team partner) are paying for to this day. This was a good match up with the bigger Raymond Diaz working over the smaller Cameron Vessey -- who played the role of the coward exceptionally well.</p><p> </p><p> Raymond tossed Cameron around -- and Cameron flew for The Monster. Diaz closed in on Cameron , but Vessey kicked him in the knee, raked his eye, and generally did anything he could to stop the onslaught. Vessey managed to get the big man up and hit the Vessey Driver II and got the surprise victory over the legendary wrestler and one third of the World’s Six Man Champions.</p><p> </p><p> Cameron Vessey defeated Raymond Diaz in 10:47 by pinfall with a Vessey Driver II.</p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong><strong>Tag Team Match</strong></strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Oxford Invitational Tournament Quarter Finals</span></p><p> <img alt="rIoO7tW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rIoO7tW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="pmhMIo7.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pmhMIo7.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="3msiqkr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3msiqkr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WIgT1ne.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WIgT1ne.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="31AYHyY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/31AYHyY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> KitoGuchi versus The Fallen w/ Father Grim</p><p> </p><p> The PGHW standout team had their hands full with the monster duo of Scythe and Hellion. Scythe looked particularly motivated in this contest. Both Bussho and Chojiro took beatings from the monsters. They sold for Scythe and Hellion like they would have sold for Dread in his heyday (not that they ever wrestled the TITAN himself). Hellion hit an apron powerbomb on the apron on Bussho to take him out while Scythe hit his devastating Underworld Spike on Chojiro.</p><p> </p><p> The Fallen defeated KitoGuchi in 13:49 when Scythe defeated Chojiro Kitoaji by pinfall with an Underworld Spike.</p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Match</strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Oxford Invitational Tournament Quarter Finals</span></p><p> <img alt="OtmREcU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/OtmREcU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XwOFMsF.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XwOFMsF.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Vv1jOcL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Vv1jOcL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="b9yP5Es.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/b9yP5Es.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Los Monteros versus The Flying Stones</p><p> </p><p> In a match of legacies between Mexico’s most famous wrestling family and Canada’s most famous wrestling family (that’s right, Stones > DeColts), the fans were extra excited. Edd and Duane are both known for being incredible junior heavyweights -- with Duane having extensive experience in Japan. This was a match of technical wrestling and high flying with both teams wrestling not only to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament, but also for family pride.</p><p> </p><p> Gino hit a beautiful Montero Press on Duane Stone -- but unfortunately Edd had just become the legal man. Edd hit a running kick that looked like it took the top row of teeth out of Gino’s mouth. Gino made the tag to Luis Jr., but Luis Jr. got hit with the Party’s Over and Edd Stone got the victory and the advancement.</p><p> </p><p> The Flying Stones defeated Los Monteros in 15:25 when Edd Stone defeated Luis Montero Jr by pinfall with a Party's Over.</p><p> </p><p> In terms of in-ring work, Gino Montero was head and shoulders above everyone else. Duane Stone was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. </p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Singles Match</strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="gpZxz6g.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gpZxz6g.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="QOMrgcv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/QOMrgcv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="FOTquiT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FOTquiT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9CEP5Gv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9CEP5Gv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Foxxy LaRue versus Alicia Strong © w/ Lisa Bowen</p><p> </p><p> In another very good Women’s Title match, in a string of good matches from Alicia Strong, Foxxy and Alicia continued to show the world that women’s wrestling can be as good as men’s wrestling with a thrilling contest. Foxxy got several big moves off, but could not put Alicia away. Alicia did manage to hit a vicious Strong Arm Tactic.</p><p> </p><p> Alicia Strong defeated Foxxy LaRue in 11:38 by pinfall with a Strong Arm Tactic. The original winners of the Oxford Invitational were squared off against the team that has been the most physically dominant in the tournament so far. This was an excellent match. Riley McManus showed the classic Southern babyface fire that would have made Shane Sneer a very happy man had he been able to have Riley turning his SCCW run.</p><p> </p><p> KC hit several big springboard moves, including a springboard blockbuster onto Hellion that looked picture-perfect. Scythe and Hellion hit several big power moves. Hellion hit a spinebuster on KC Glenn -- that countered a springboard attempt and looked like it should have broken the ring. Riley McManus went for a Slingshot Suplex on Scythe, but Scythe blocked the lift and hit a huge Underworld Spike on Riley that was probably as vicious of one as Scythe had ever delivered.</p><p> </p><p> The Fallen defeated Georgia Bulldogs in 11:32 when Scythe defeated Riley McManus by pinfall with an Underworld Spike.</p><p> <img alt="LTiTJNd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LTiTJNd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tag Team Match</strong></p><p> Thirty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <span style="text-decoration:underline;">Oxford Invitational Tournament Semi Finals</span></p><p> <img alt="Vv1jOcL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Vv1jOcL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="b9yP5Es.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/b9yP5Es.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZPSijPY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZPSijPY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZjCgexS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZjCgexS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="LC8rqZh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/LC8rqZh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The Flying Stones versus The Devil’s Rejects w/ February Malaise</p><p> </p><p> Another good tag team bout and another classic old school tag team match. The Devil’s Rejects worked the big bruising heel role, keeping the older Stone brother in the ring unable to tag his little brother Edd. Duane took a beating, but it was obvious that despite at one point being an exciting athlete and a certified future Hall of Immortals inductee -- he is not the wrestler he once was. The injuries he has sustained over his career have really taken a toll, but the Rejects took advantage of that and told that story.</p><p> </p><p> Duane hit an enzugari and made a diving tag to his brother. Edd came in with a fire he did not get to show as a heel in TCW. Exciting babyface fire and both Rejects bumped big for him. They got off their feet for the significantly smaller man. Edd hit Keith Holly with a Party’s Over and made the cover.</p><p> </p><p> The Flying Stones defeated The Devil's Rejects in 12:24 when Edd Stone defeated Keith Holly by pinfall with a Party's Over.</p><p> </p><p> Duane Stone was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. </p><p> <img alt="e5wmXmn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/e5wmXmn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"></div><p> <img alt="y9l6Ubu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/y9l6Ubu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> CP: “Y’know, my whole life rich Yankees have tried to take from me and mine. Clyde hit a Patriot Powerslam and the crowd got very excited.</p><p> </p><p> Clyde Puder defeated Paul Huntingdon in 15:39 by pinfall with a Patriot Powerslam.</p><p> <img alt="ZSlyKQ6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZSlyKQ6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Main Event</strong></p><p> Tag Team Match</p><p> Sixty Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="NN7oLHZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NN7oLHZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="Vv1jOcL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Vv1jOcL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="b9yP5Es.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/b9yP5Es.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="3msiqkr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3msiqkr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WIgT1ne.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WIgT1ne.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="31AYHyY.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/31AYHyY.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The Flying Stones versus The Fallen w/ Father Grim</p><p> </p><p> The announcers told the story going into this match. Duane Stone is in the twilight of his career. A man trying to achieve one last milestone. Something he can hang his hat on. The Fallen were big, mean, and pissed off and they worked like it. It was a hard match. Both teams were now wrestling their fourth match in two days and their third of the night. Edd started the match, but Duane took the brunt of the punishment. Hellion hit Edd with a powerbomb on the apron -- the third powerbomb he had delivered on an apron over the course of the tournament. Duane took the fourth Underworld Spike of the tournament -- and this might have been the best bump Duane has ever taken in his career. Whatever he had left his tank, he gave into this bump. Scythe made the cover and The Fallen win the fifth Oxford Invitational.</p><p> </p><p> The Fallen defeated The Flying Stones in 16:22 when Scythe defeated Duane Stone by pinfall with an Underworld Spike. He's suffered a couple of injuries over the past seven years, he's in his late forties, and what not, plus then when The Fallen won they got to beat a legendary tag team in the finals after beating two other international teams -- APW and PGHW's top teams respectively -- and the Georgia Bulldogs as well. <p>Wow my predictions on night 2 went back to normal and just were terrible lol. I did not see the Stone's making it to the finals with the age of Duane Stone. I really thought Riley and KC would re-establish themselves as the top tag team in the company but that was not to be.</p><p> </p><p>

Nice job keeping me guessing on which direction you go. That makes for a good story if it is not too predictable.</p>

<p>Had a feeling Guide and Scout wouldn't be around too much longer, they were good for putting over others whilst they lasted! Maybe it would have been nice to see them have one short run with one of the tag team belts but maybe it was better to focus on the younger teams like you have.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm hoping to see a decent push for Brisbane Devil and King Malietoa on their return, they're a duo that could be a backbone of your tag team division imo.</p><p> </p><p>

Great signings in Malloy and Spillane! They are a fantastic team and no doubt will be tag team champions soon enough, haha. Also glad to see Wildside back, he should be a good addition to the midcard.</p><p> </p><p>

Shame about Stash, he had a unique look, but can't say I am surprised haha.</p>

Storm had been working for WLW on a written deal, so I had to wait until his contract came up to bring him in. They're a good tag team, both junior heavyweights so I'm bringing in more people for James Adams to potentially work programs with so that I can really feature the World's Junior Heavyweight Title.</p>

MR: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed edition of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from Sunrise Sunset in Hawaii. We are fresh off the fifth annual Oxford Invitational which saw The Fallen win the whole thing in a performance that was very dominant. What will come next for Father Grim and his cadre of brutality?

RDJ: We can’t forget that Spencer Spade caused the Mission their opportunity to repeat as tournament champions.

DH: He did not! It’s not his fault they weren’t up to the challenge of The Devil’s Rejects!

MF: Spencer… You’ve got my attention now. That’s what you wanted, isn’t it? My attention. Well now you’ve got it. It was foolish of me to think that I could just defeat you at Wrestling Summit, clean in the middle of the ring, and let that be the end of it. You need a little bit more. So you’re going to get it. I talked to Hailey Hunter and she talked to CWL management. At Fire on the Mountain it will be you and I, one more time, in a street fight!

BG: For years, my boys have been overlooked. Too violent. Too hardcore. Too brutal. Too vicious. Too unpredictable. Ain’t no one want to give them a shot. We were the World’s Six Man Champions for months! And we couldn’t get an invitation to be in the Oxford Invitational? We too extreme for it? It doesn’t matter now. ‘Cause we made sure that we made an impact. Didn’t we Greg? Didn’t we Matthew? Yeah. Y’all know our God **** names now, don’t you. You can’t ignore us now can you? Best believe you can’t, and best believe we ain’t going anywhere.

  • Island Boy Apollo, The Architect, Deever Arnold, Fro Sure, Mountie Mann, and Chill were all released from their CWL contracts. This was said to be to create room for potential call ups from developmental, as well as clear some space from workers who were not figured in to any major plans.
  • Hell’s Bouncer has passed away 36 years old. The cause of death was not immediately made public.

FG: What do you do when you encounter men with have been protected? Men who have enjoyed the benefit of being the favorites of an organization. Scythe and Hellion. They are not favorites. They were made promises that did not deliver. They were lied to. Lied to so men like Clyde Puder and Jakob Yoder could be given the world. Scythe and Hellion are done being lied to, they are done being cast to the side, being overlooked. Clyde and Jakob.. We are coming. Coming for you.

JQ: I’ve been waiting to get an opportunity to reclaim my Women’s Championship. A title I’ve waited my whole career for...a title that Alicia Strong has been carrying for several months. She’s been unstoppable. She’s been dominant, but she’s not motivated like I’m motivated. Alicia has had every benefit of being the daughter of the most famous wrestler of all time. I’m not hating on her, it’s just truth. She didn’t have to struggle. She didn’t have to start at the bottom and prove herself. I did. I’m here because of my skill and my talent and how hard I’ve been willing to work. I’ve earned another opportunity at the championship and I will not let it pass me by.

Not a lot lost on the workers released although Fro Sure can be useful, but normally in a smaller company.

Now the passing of Hell’s Bouncer, while not being involved in this story is a solid worker who if available would have been a solid fit in the Fallen.

Can't necessarily say that any of the guys you released would have amounted to much so I can't say I am particularly shocked. Think it would be cool one time to get a narrative from someone who finds out they're being released... not that I keep requesting narratives or anything haha. Otherwise, I'm enjoying seeing Xavi Ferrera get a push, has a very unique look.

We are coming to you from The Warehouse in Long Beach, California. We are one week away from Fire on the Mountain, where Spencer Spade and Matty Faith will look to settle their ongoing rivalry in a Street Fight for the North American Heavyweight Championship. The Keith Brothers will be putting the North American Tag Team Titles on the line against Gangsta Nation and so much more, but that’s next week! Tonight, in our main event, David Stone will continue to prove himself to be a fighting champion as he puts the United States Championship on the line against Paul Huntingdon.</p><p> </p><p> RDJ: It should be a great night of action. I can’t wait to see what David Stone can do against someone as experienced and well traveled as Paul Huntingdon. David has eight successful defenses under his belt since winning the title from Cameron Vessey back in February. He’s been a fighting champion for sure, but that takes a toll on your body after awhile. How long can he continue to perform at a peak level? How much more punishment can his body take before he slips up and gets caught? Will tonight be the night?</p><p> </p><p> DH: I certainly hope so. We need someone like Paul Huntingdon to bring some class to this here organization! He could carry the United States Championship with pride. We could all be proud of him as an organization.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="GNkzKok.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GNkzKok.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Opening Match</strong></p><p> Singles Match</p><p> Fifteen Minute Time Limit</p><p> <img alt="qIOtMoe.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qIOtMoe.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XWgjkPi.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XWgjkPi.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="h2HwZmo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/h2HwZmo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Lucy Stone-McFly versus Selina Svelte</p><p> </p><p> In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Lucy Stone-McFly defeated Selina Svelte in 9:01 by pinfall with a Delorean Driver.</p><p> <img alt="sphQ2H2.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sphQ2H2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45989" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><img alt="mgsmc0P.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mgsmc0P.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="akRbp1S.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/akRbp1S.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="o3PEmtO.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/o3PEmtO.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Pmhhg2P.jpg?1" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="9CEP5Gv.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/9CEP5Gv.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> CV: I’ve been telling the world that Bowen Services is destined to dominate the GWC. Maybe you’re the one who can finally stand up to me. I’ve ruled this Women’s division with an iron fist. Sure, I’ve gotten some good opponents. Amber. Houston. Foxxy. Lucy. But no one has been equal to me. No one has been able to withstand Strong Style. Can you? Can you stand up to the greatest female athlete in this business? I’m changing the face of the sport with Lisa by my side. You’ll see.
