This time it's Danny Rushmore. I brought him on after he was released by USPW a few months back. During that time he announced he was retiring so I reached out to have him come in and give the rub to some of our guys, mainly our top guys. He agreed and came on for a 3 month contract, being paid double any of my current guys. He immediately got furious about doing the job to Primus and Singh. I finally let him go over Singh after he complained, a lot. But that was it, especially after just dealing with Threepwood. So, I had Primus bury him and then I verbally eviscerated him after the show. I was going to fire him on the spot, but Logan has taken to him like a lost puppy. He's only got a couple weeks left so I'll just let it run out. Phew! Rant over. Rant not over!!! Apparently Rushmore decided he would just walk out on us prior to his actual contract ending. I hope his retirement is everything he wishes for. Ok, rant over. </div></div></blockquote> I never liked Danny Rush more anyway!!!

I never liked Danny Rush more anyway!!!

I've never used him before, but I was hoping to get some of his popularity to rub off on Primus and Singh and maybe a few others. He was having none of it. Oh well, you can't please everyone.

However, I might just do a roster recap at some point. I will say this, Martyr started as an enhancement talent and has worked his way up to Main Event at one point, but now he has settled into an Upper level worker. Thanks for reading and hopefully I'll get some more out soon. R

Martyr and El Mitico Jr and Avalanche Takano vs Logan Wolfsbaine and Mercutio Sleep and Justice Jolson

In a decent match, Avalanche Takano, El Mítico Jr and Martyr defeated Logan Wolfsbaine, Mercutio Sleep and Justice Jolson in 12:59 when El Mítico Jr defeated Mercutio Sleep by pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex.

In terms of in-ring work, El Mítico Jr was head and shoulders above everyone else.

After the match, Martyr, Mitico and Takano stare each other down in the center of the ring. Both Mitico and Takano make belt motions across their waist as Martyr just tilts his head... and just as the lights flicker out, that high pitched women's scream pierces the Sweat Box. "MARRRRRTYYYYR!!!" Lights on and Martyr is alone in the ring, Mitico and Takano are gone. Martyr's head darts from side to side and then towards the entrance but no one else is around. Martyr again shakes his head like he's trying to clear out the cob webs or that voice. The lights flicker and when they come back on, Martyr is gone.

Haley Buck and The Wolf Pack come to the ring ahead of their match and again Haley taunts The Avengers, claiming her boys are coming for those tag titles real soon, but first they will do what The Avengers could not do. At The Great American Bash, The Wolf Pack will win the COTT World Tag Team titles. She then goes on to warn Cal Sanders and Remmy Honeyman to just stay in the back and not even come to the ring for their match against Snow and Wolfe.

In a decent match, Wolf Pack defeated Remmy Honeyman and Cal Sanders in 11:51 when George Wolfe defeated Remmy Honeyman by pinfall with a Running Powerslam.

After the match, Jack and Riley step out from the back and start toward the ring. Haley can be heard yelling at them about The Pack taking the titles. Just as they reach the ring, The Silencer comes through the crowd. Jack and Riley notice him and that was the break Haley and the Wolf Pack were waiting for as they swarmed over The Avengers. Haley directs her boys to get Jack and Riley in the ring where every member of the Pack hit their respective finishers on each Avenger. Jack and Riley tried to fight back, but the numbers were too much for them. In the end, Haley directs The Pack to the back as she tells Jack and Riley they'll see them soon.

RATING = D

Herb Stately enters the ring and hypes the match between his client, "The Baddest Man on the Planet" Primus Allen and "The Sensational" (air quotes) Singh at The Great American Bash in two weeks. Stately keeps it simple. Says Primus has done this before and nothing will change this time.

Singh comes to the ring, without the Sultans. Singh (in 3rd person) tells Stately that this time it will be different. This time it will be SIMPLY... SEN...

Bass heavy music hits the sound system as Fro Sure steps out rapping to the spelling of SENSATIONAL. Fro goes on to tell Singh that everyone is tired of seeing him. The people want some new blood. Fro challenges Singh tonight, with the winner going on to face Allen at The Great American Bash. Singh smiles, but agrees before hitting Fro with a Cal Cutter outta nowhere!

In a decent match, The Sensational Singh defeated Fro Sure in 30:26 by submission with a Bombay Duck.

Before The Great American Bash!

Two days before The Great American Bash...

I was concentrating so hard, that I never heard him come in. I was hunched over my workshop bench meticulously trying to tool the metal in my hand.

"Is that what I think it is!" The instant break in the silence nearly caused me to run the tool in my hand across the metal I was working on. I spun around trying to hide my work, but Ed (Monton) was already around me inspecting my work. Ed raised an eyebrow at me while glancing back at the table. "Are you making belts again?" Before even thinking about it, I blurted out "NO", "Maybe".

Ed picked up the leather strap with the center piece attached to it. "Is this one of ours?" Ed asked, but I'm pretty sure he already knew the answer to that. I sunk down in my chair, realizing how tired I was. I had been working on belts for the last two weeks non-stop. "No", I said. "It's for some fantasy women's wrestling league, American, AW, I don't know, something like that. I've got the name written down somewhere over here."

Ed laid the title back down on the table. "Looks good. That orange looks good on that design. Hmm, almost like you haven't missed a step."

I pointed to the pages of designs that overflowed the trash can as well as the back side of the work bench with discarded metal. "It took a minute to get going again."

Ed took a seat on another stool across from me. Spreading his hands toward the table, "Are you going to re-open your shop?" I shrugged. "I don't know. I do miss it. These were commissioned at full price, and let's face it, if I can't find a way to supplement our finances, wCw might go under."

Ed again scanned the workshop before standing up. "Boss, you look like you haven't slept in the last two weeks. Get some rest." I nodded as he clasped my shoulder as he walked toward the door. "Oh yeah, did you change the new venue to Sunday instead of Saturday? We have quite a few of our guys who have other commitments on Saturday. Primus being the big one."

I stared blankly at the floor before shaking my head. "No, I totally forgot about it. And it's too late to change it now."

Ed just chuckled. "Look, you creating titles again is going to make the world happy. Just don't forget that you have a group of good people here that are looking to you to lead them. This was your baby remember."

Ed opened the door and as he stepped through, turned back to me. "Don't worry about the card, I'll put something together. We'll still have the US title match and the Wolf Pack will still battle for the COTT Tag Team titles. We won't have a wCw Championship match, and the card won't be exactly what we planned initially, but we'll make it work. Get some sleep." And with that, Ed shut the door and I checked the clock before going right back to the title I was working on.

I had that itch, and I needed to scratch it.

In a decent match, El Mítico Jr defeated Avalanche Takano and Martyr in 14:38 when El Mítico Jr defeated Avalanche Takano by pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex. El Mítico Jr wins the wCw United States title.

El Mítico Jr carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. Avalanche Takano was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

In a decent match, Philippe LaGrenier defeated Remmy Honeyman in 12:05 by pinfall with a Quebec Arrow.

LaGrenier grabs a mic after his match and again starts to taunt Martyr. Goes on to tell everyone that Martyr couldn't get the job done earlier. He starts to mention that "woman" again, but is interrupted when the lights dim down. They flicker, but don't go completely dark and the screens again have "white noise" on them. All of a sudden a loud female scream pierces the Sweat Box just as the lights go out completely. Lights come back on and LaGrenier is still in the ring holding his ears with his hands. A few seconds pass and he realizes everyone is watching him. He exits without saying anything else.

RATING = C+

Haley and The Wolf Pack head to the ring. Haley again tells everyone that her boys are about to be the next and last COTT World Tag Team Champions. Then they are coming for the wCw United States Tag titles. "Jack, Riley... You two chose wrong!"

In a decent match, Wolf Pack defeated Eric Blackley and Rajah in 15:29 when Eric Blackley was disqualified when Riley McManus ran in and attacked George Wolfe. During the match we also had Jack Avatar run in and attack Snow.

After the match, the entire Wolf Pack attack Riley. Jack gets in enough space to pull Riley out of the ring. The Avengers back up the ramp as Haley again yells that her boys are coming for them.

The Sensational Singh comes to the ring ahead of his match with Fro. Singh hypes the match and before he can hit his catch phrase, Fro Sure's music hits and he comes to the ring to the cheers of the crowd. Fro raps about the upcoming match and ends with, "...make me wanna grab dat trigger and pull, 'cause we all know you gonna end with, SIMPLY... SENSATIONAL!"

Morning after The GAB

Morning after The Great American Bash 2017...

My phone rang as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. I jumped out of bed thinking I missed a show or something. Glancing at the clock, I realized it was only 7AM. Who was calling me at this time. Better not be that writer from Ohio. He's always wanting a title for this or that. He basically paid double for the first title just to get me to do it. Hopefully he doesn't want me to try to build him a banner or something in the future. But, I can't complain. He's a nice enough guy and pays well, so...

I grabbed the phone noticing it was Ed. "Yes..." That was all I got out as Ed exclaimed, "Have you seen it yet?!" I pulled the phone away from ear and looked at it. "Have I seen what"? "The TEW.com statistical ratings. They are out and they have ranked us as Regional. And on top of that, they ranked us #1 in the Mid-Atlantic and #2 in the Mid-South regions."

That was great news. We hung on the phone for a few more minutes like a couple of school girls before hanging up.

Can you believe that. We jump to Regional on the make-shift show thrown together by Ed at the last minute. Man is a genius.

I tried to go back to bed, but all I could think about was, who to hire now?

Fro Sure stays in the ring. He goes onto challenge Primus Allen at Slamboree for the wCw Championship. The Sensational Singh steps out and enters the ring, standing face to face with Fro. Singh takes exception to that challenge since he was supposed to have won the championship at The Great American Bash, but Allen was too scared to show. Herb Stately steps out and tells them that his client, "The Baddest Man on the Planet", Primus Allen, had higher commitments that night, like defending the COTT World Heavyweight Championship. However, Allen could care less about the two in the ring. Stately says, Allen will take them both on at Slamboree.

Prior to his match, Philippe LaGrenier is walking backstage when the lights flicker and dim down. Philippe looks behind him and down the hallway is a figure, shrouded in shadow. Then that woman's scream pierces the hallway causing Philippe to cover his ears. Close-up of Philippe clamping down on his ears and squeezing his eyes shut. The lights come back up and we can hear LaFleur and Ancrie speaking to Philippe in a normal voice. "Boss?, Hey Boss, you OK?" Philippe opens one eye and peers around before standing straight up and asking LaFleur and Ancrie if they heard that? They both look at each other in bewilderment, "Heard what, Boss?" Philippe takes a last look down the empty hallway. "Nothing", "Let's go."

After the match, Logan joins The Wolf Pack in the ring as they continue the beat down on The Avengers, eventually tossing them out of the ring. Haley is flanked by the Pack as she grabs a mic, but hands it to Logan instead.

Logan smirks before talking about how he was told to make his own way. Forge his own path and not to use his family's name. Logan says "SCREW THAT!" He just figured it out recently that sometimes you have to let someone else open the door for you. He says that his family name can do that with the help of Haley and her "BUCK THE SYSTEM" attitude. Logan says he has a "GLORIOUS" destiny and he will fulfill that destiny. Logan steps out some, "My Name is... LOGAN DIAZ! and I choose MY FAMILY...! I choose... The Wolf Pack!"

The Pack welcome him into the fold as Haley takes the mic from Logan. She goes on to tell Jack and Riley, that it's official. in two weeks at Slamboree, The Wolf Pack become the United States Tag Team champions. And there is nothing they can do to stop it as we end the show.

Just when Philippe was about to take control of the match, he just stopped, dead in his tracks. His eyes got big and he stared at the entrance before dropping to his knees, squeezing his eyes shut and pushing his hands against his ears real hard. He could be heard mumbling, "Make it stop, go away!" K.P. didn't know what was going on, but he pushed Philippe over and pinned him while he still had his eyes shut and ears plugged. As soon as the bell rang, Philippe opened one eye and looked around before sheepishly standing up and walking straight to the back, his head and eys darting from side to side the entire time.

The Sensational Singh and the Sultans come to the ring. The wCw Championship, shined up real nice, over Singh's shoulder. Goes on to say that all is right in World...Championship Wrestling. You're rightful "King" is back on his throne. He makes a few more off-handed remarks but right before he can say his catchphrase, Primus Allen's music hits and Herb Stately leads "The Baddest Man on the Planet" and COTT World Heavyweight Champion to the ring. Primus is laser focused, the COTT World Heavyweight title around his waist as he stares a hole through Singh. Stately says that at Halloween Havoc in two weeks, Primus is obligated to defend his COTT World Heavyweight title. But, since the wCw Championship is the only title that has a rematch clause in it, he's requested it tonight and it has been granted. Singh's smile disappears but he regains himself quickly before telling them fine. He'll see them later tonight.

No Fear Soldiers (K.P. Funk/Fro Sure) vs Sultans of Singh (Xavi Ferrera/Felipe Caballero)

In a decent match, No Fear Soldiers defeated Sultans of Singh in 11:32 when K.P. Funk defeated Xavi Ferrera by pinfall with a Mic Drop.

After the match, McManus rolls out and heads up the ramp while LaGrenier stays in the ring, covering his ears with his hands and squeezing his eyes shut. The lights flicker, then dim down. White noise replaces the television screens around the arena. A loud woman's scream pierces the arena before the lights flicker again, signaling the arrival of Martyr. Martyr is standing in front of LaGrenier who finally notices him. LaGrenier begins to plead for Martyr to make "HER" stop. Martyr's voice echoes throughout, "WEEEE DO NOT CONTROL HERRRRR, JUST AS ONE DOESSSS NOT CONTROL THE WINNNNND." Martyr tilts his head to the side like a dog listening to something far off. "SHEEE ISSS COMING, ANDDDD WHERE SHE GOESSSSS, VENGEANCE FOLLOWSSSS!!!" The lights flicker as LaGrenier yells, "BUT I'VE DONE NOTHING TO HER!!!" Lights on and LaGrenier is alone in the ring, Martyr's voice echoing, "IT WASSSS YOU WHO CALLED TOOO HERRRRRR!!!"

As Primus heads to the ring, he is attacked by The Wolf Pack and The Sultans of Singh. Primus is big and strong, but even he can't fend off a 7 on 1 attack. He eventually succumbs to the numbers before security run out and finally get The Pack and SoS away. Primus pulls himself to his feet, a pissed off look on his face, but it's apparent that damage was done.

The Sensational Singh, starts off in the ring, wCw Championship over his shoulder and the Sultans flanking him.

Singh: The Sensational Champion is still, KING of the World. The CHAMP put Allen out of his misery and well, There is no one left for The Sensational, two-time, reigning and defending wCw Champion to face.

The lights dim a little as the sound of boots and spurs on a wooden floor echo throughout the coliseum. A spot light shines down on a figure at the entrance ramp dressed in cowboy boots, jeans and a dirty brown duster and cowboy hat. His head is tilted down so we can't see his face. He then pulls open his duster to reveal a title belt around his waist. I squeal like a little school girl, "That's the SCCW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP".

And then the figure speaks his trademarked catchphrase and the crowd goes insane. "I'LL BE YOUR HUCKLEBERRY!" He raises his head and removes his hat as the lights come up revealing;

Singh looks to be in shock as Dane and I talk while Jack makes his way to the ring.

I say that I thought Whistler was the last SCCW World Champion and Dane says that officially that is true. But rumor has it that about a year later, Whistler and Jack had a non-sanctioned match for the belt. Rumor has it that only a handful of people were there and Stately was one of them. Dane goes on to say that a stipulation for Whistler to even have the match was that Jack had to quit drinking and go to AA meetings.

Jack enters the ring and barely even pays attention to the Sultans who flank Singh. "How 'bout it Champ? Singh eyes the SCCW World title around Jack's waist before stepping to Jack. Singh raises the wCw Championship above his head. "Title for Title, The Sensational One accepts. THAT IS SIMPLY... SENSATIONAL!" Jack spits in his hand and holds it out to Singh to shake on it. "DEAL!!!" Singh looks disgusted and just slaps at Jack's hand.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, El Mítico Jr defeated Avalanche Takano in 7:53 by pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex. El Mítico Jr makes defence number 4 of his wCw United States title.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, The Avengers defeated Glorious Silence in 12:24 when Jack Avatar defeated Logan Diaz by pinfall with an All American Slam.

Philippe barely put up a fight. Half the time he was covering his ears or looking around wide eyed. Even Martyr would stop from time to time and "listen". After, Philippe again pleaded with Martyr to make it stop and Martyr tilted his head to the side "listening". Martyr straightened his head and stepped to the center of the ring, pulling Philippe with him. "SHESSSS HERRRRREEE!"

Philippe looked everywhere wide eyed before grabbing Martyr. "WHO IS SHE?!" Martry ignored Philippe's hands on him. "MOTTHHEERRRR!!!"

That high pitched, ear piercing scream ripped through the coliseum as the lights go out and the everything goes red. Smoke billows up from underneath the ring, filling the ring. A smaller figure rises up from the smoke behind Martyr as he holds on to a freaked out LaGrenier. Everything is in shadow and surround by the smoke, but the figure is obviously female, standing shorter than Martyr. Then the sound of a loud thunderclap literally shakes the coliseum and a second figure rises behind the female. This figure is large and ultimately towers over everyone in the ring. The figure's face is shrouded in a large black hood. The thunderclap rocks the coliseum again and the red light gives way to dull white light and the smoke fades away, some.

The female, also wearing a hood, runs her hand down the side of Martyr's mask before pulling her hood back revealing;

Karen ignores Philippe and addresses Martyr. Her voice sounds like the poetic hiss of a snake. "Son... WE are dissssapointed in you! You have gotten WEEEEEAAAK sssssince you have been here!" Karen finally seems to notice Philippe and as she licks her lips slowly asks, "Who do we have herrrreeeee? Ahhh, YESSSSSS! The one that called for MEEEEE!"

Philippe glancing from Martyr to Karen to the looming giant behind her blurts out, "I WASN'T CALLING ANYONE! I WAS TRYING TO SCARE MART...." Karen stops him mid-sentance with her finger on his lips. "MY MARTYR DOESSSSS NOT SSSSSSSCARE!" Karen removes her hand and looks Philippe up and down, almost seductively. "To be honesssst, you do not consssssern me. You were just an excusssssse to come here."

Philippe again looks up at the giant behind Karen before saying, "Why do seek vengeance against me then?" Karen begins to laugh. A laugh that is hauntingly beautiful. "Silly boy. I don't seek vengeance, I bring VENGEANCCCCCCE!" With that the thunderclap rocks the coliseum again and the giant behind pulls back his hood revealing;

Vengeance grabs Philippe by the throat before lifting him up and delivering a Skull Krusher choke slam. The lights flicker as Karen lets out her ear piercing scream. Lights on and Philippe is alone, laid out in the ring as the fans chant, "HOLY SH&T" over and over.

In a decent match, The Sensational Singh drew with Jack Griffith in 7:13 when the referee lost control and stopped the match. During the match we also saw Vengeance run in and attack Singh, and also attack Griffith.

During the match, the loud thunderclap rocked the coliseum again and the lights went out. When the light came back on, Vengeance is in the ring holding both Jack and Singh by the throat. He gives them both a Skull Krusher choke slam causing the double DQ. Lights go out and the thunder rolls again. Lights on and Vengeance is gone.
