Fire Pro Wrestling Meets Total Extreme Wrestling

How awesome to come back to this board after a year of not playing and be greeted with a thread about my two favorite wrestling games.

Oddly enough when I bought Firepro last year the first day of Early Access, I'm a lifelong fan of the Firepro series, the first thing I did was make a Black Canvas Grappling logo to use in my games and begin to make all the guys from the fed.

So not only did you floor me with Firepro/TEW connection .. but you have my favorite guys as well .. nice.

I took a screenshot of Funikoshi and Ikoma fighting The Taku father and son team that I for whatever reason just call the Takus.

Coming off a sensational 2013 that saw them tear through everyone in BHOTWG, Sanetomo Shiraishi and Sessue Kawate rightfully earned the Tag Team of the Year award at the end of the year. In front of them however, is the always tough and burly duo of Chuichi Sanda and Eiji Hamacho, who look to regain their tag team titles for the fifth time. In this classic match, the two rival teams fight for the title in an elimination match to decide who the best team in BHOTWG.

With the rise of USPW with the launch of Reverie, SWF has definitely seen better days. However, many of their wrestlers can still be called upon to put on great matches. In SWF's main event, the always reliable and consistent Angry Gilmore takes on the red hot "Big Money" Brandon James, the former Big Cat Brandon who looks to take over SWF and become the next big thing in the company.

In a classic bout between two of GCG's finest workers, if not the world, both Kazu Yoshizawa and Hanshiro Furusawa have a match for the ages. With the ongoing war between BHOTWG and GCG, in the background, there is more at stake than bragging rights in this match.

During the 1980s, a bitter war of supremacy between BHOTWG and GCG was in full swing, with both promotions trying to claim the title of the number one promotion in Japan. The death of Master Kitozon, however, temporarily lessened the hostilities and a one time deal between the warring promotions was agreed on both sides to hold a tribute show for the legend. In the first match of the show, BHOTWG's defender takes on GCG's finest workers in a classic bout.

The newly created Pride Glory Honour Wrestling aims to feature the finest wrestling in all of Japan, and with GCG reeling after a war with BHOTWG, the time is right for PGHW to capitalize. In the main event of their first ever card, rivals Hito Ichihara and Koryusai Kitoaji meet in a big step for PGHW.

I was just thinking about this idea for a dynasty of sorts. My 0,0,0 promotion. I would make my current roster, then as I borrowed or hired new people I would add them to the game. TEW is awesome, Fire Pro is superb to anything WWF (WWE for you younger kids) related. I'm stoked for Fire Promotoer. It'd be awesome to have a community effort go into a cross over draft...<img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Did you make the edits yourself? I know the editor is intense, i've been a die hard fan since Fire Pro D, for dreamcast (RIP)

One half of the PUNK Nasty Club, Toju Munkata has been challenging all of the Juniors in BHOTWG, including the legendary Sensational Dragon. Determined to shut him up once and for all, he challenges him to a one on one match. Has Munkata bitten off more than he can chew? Or can he pull off a tremendous upset by defeating one of the best Juniors in the planet?

In Kazu Yoshizawa's swan song, he takes on his protege Toshiharu Hyobanshi in a thirilling match between the old and new generation. Currently on a losing streak against Hyobanshi, Yoshizawa promises that he won't hold anything back against his student. Groomed for eventual main event success, a win for Hyobanshi would do his career wonders and will definitely ascend him to stardom.

The recently reunited McWade brothers recently declared their intention to run right through every team in Japan. In their first stop, they face the imposing team of Black Magic (Yasunobu Masuno and Yasuhiko Taira) currently on a downward trend. Can the McWade brothers pull off a massive update on unfamiliar territory? Or will Black Magic pull it together and defend their home promotion?
