Bigelow Cartwheel
Not the best place for it I grant you but trying to get a diary started and I find I can't post pics. Anything I need to enable? I've already ticked the display pic box in my profile settings. I've posted a pic in here as a example and it's not showing for me. Thanks for your help. http://imgur.com/ETTZCce
Bigelow Cartwheel
Ahhh wait.

Is it because I'm a new member? If so, how long does that last?

Thanks.
Sco xY2Jx
The new member thing wouldn't last aslong as 4 months I wouldn't have thought. What service are you using to post the pictures? Imgur? Photo bucket? You need to embed them into the text box via a link that'll be provided from wherever you've uploaded the picture too. You can't post a picture directly from your computer onto the forum.

Jaysin
The problem isn’t the forum, it’s the link you’re trying to use for the image. It goes to a 404 site not found page. Create a free Imgur account and upload the photos there and then use those links.

It doesn’t explain why JPEGs uploaded to ImgBB don’t work though.

Do you know whether there’s a post restriction on newbies? I copy and paste that right in and it works for me with out a problem. There is not an account restriction that I know if that would prevent you from posting photos.

jhd1
You're not linking to the image itself, you're linking to the page it is hosted on instead which is why nothing is showing up.
