<p>It might look the red team won, but I killed Outlaw. So who really won here? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Bak's role name is interesting to me. It's town aligned, which is a bad thing, but the words "Sideshow attendant" makes me feel like Bak was searching for the scum team in order to join them. If that's the case, this result is better than we thought.

I'd like to know about this myself because there was nothing in my role pm about me being scum or potential scum. Heck when blue's alignment came up I thought to myself, "Oh crap, there is absolutely no way I'm going to be saying what my role title is."

Let's begin.

DAY ONE

Throughout the early hours of the morning, authorities arrived on the scene to resolve the crisis, only to be met with traps laid out throughout the parking lot. Those inside the carnival grounds could heard each explosion and before long it became apparent this was going to have to be resolved from within.

They gathered near the food stand, agreeing to peace long enough to have something resembling a meal before getting down to the daily proceedings. There wasn't a lot to discuss, but theories were passed around, and accusations made throughout the day. In the end, nothing was decided, and they'd have to hope things didn't escalate in the night.

As it grew dark they went their seperate ways for the most part, deep in thought of how to survive this ordeal for at least this night. So deep in thought one didn't realize he was being followed, until he felt two hands on his shoulders steer him towards one of the attractions.

"What do you think you're doing?"

The man tried to struggle against the other's guidance but it was no use. They always resist but they always wind up going in. This time wouldn't be any different, and the glass pane was shut between the two as soon as it happened.

"See you in the morning!"

This was Leion, jailing Astil. He chose his targets during the day instead of at night. Don't think he expected to see this pop up though.:D

I have to say, this went from amusing, considering the game before, to downright chaotic.

NIGHT ONE

Despite the number of people, each up to their own means of surviving, one thing dominated the fairgrounds on this night. A song, playing from just inside what would be considered the portion of the grounds dedicated to rides for younger visitors. It was unusually loud tonight, though one person would have a much tougher time dealing with it than most.

He thrashed violently against the restraints but it would do no good. Someone wanted him seated right where he was. The music blaring right next to him was deafening, almost mind numbing. Then, his captor appeared, standing opposite the pole his hands were bound to.

"TELL ME WHAT I WANT TO KNOW, AND THIS ALL ENDS! REAL SIMPLE!"

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

And so the conversation went, for what could've been forever at the rate they were going. The captive had one thing going for them that wasn't expected however, and as he opened his hand it dangled, catching the eyes of the captor.

"LET. ME. GO."

That easily, the captor unlocked the chains and the captive slid off his mount, stumbling away from the captor and to freedom. Well, almost. A bottle hit the ground in front of him and shattered, spilling a liquid across the ground. Before he could react a cigarette followed, and he was engulfed in flames.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

From atop his perch he could see it all. Fires starting everywhere, dogs chasing people, some people wandering around as if they were lost. Unfortunately, he couldn't find what he was looking for.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

"This one looks fun."

It didn't take him long to make a decision. He'd been hoping to move up for a while now, and this job seemed simple enough to enjoy without having to be in a stupid booth all day.

"Yeah. It was one of my favorites."

The booth operator turned, recognizing the voice of the girl behind him. He wasn't aware of the situation he'd just found himself in until he saw the knife in her hand. He managed one step backwards before she easily tossed it into his chest.

michgcs is dead. He was Town Aligned Booth Operator.

moon_lit_tears is dead. He was Town Aligned Hypnotist.

Scene one here was Wrestling Century investigating MLT. The hypnotism to get away from him was flavor, done to set up the kill and actually let me have the hypnosis mentioned. Then mistaken/Paws killed MLT, and ultimately saved everyone a whole hell of a lot of confusion.

Scene two was a lot more than I think people gave it credit for. Sure, it's Winter not finding Outlaw. He couldn't find Outlaw because I couldn't figure out a way to make sense out of this. Dog can't chase off someone stuck on a Ferris wheel. Always expect stuff that doesn't make sense thematically to happen N1. Always.

Scene two also mentions multiple fires. Because there are multiple arsonists setting fires to use their abilities. We get mention of Outlaw's dogs, and also people wandering around lost. Those people were all looking for Astil.

Ray, Winter, and Emark all targeted Outlaw. Winter didn't cost a dog, so only two were lost here.

Destiny tried to frame Astil.

Eternal Phoenix tried to track Astil.

Theelectrickg tried to protect Astil.

Smartbomb/Gonvick tried to track Astil.

That's seven people that targeted people they couldn't reach for whatever reason.

Side note: If Emark HAD reached Outlaw, he would've been able to learn to tame dogs. Specifically, one big one, and been completely untouchable.

Scene three is michgcs trying to learn Leion's job. The town almost had two jailers, instead of one. Ha.

You are the Town Aligned Booth Operator.

As bad as this is, these things sort themselves out. People die, criminals get defeated, and life goes on. The fair, goes on. The horrors of running stupid booth games for six year olds to pick up plastic ducks, goes on. You don't want to do that anymore, and as horrible as it is to consider, this fair might be looking to promote some people soon. May be worth learning a skill.

Each night phase you may PM me the name of someone you wish to target. If their job is better than yours, you'll study it for the night and learn to do what they do.

You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

Mich was the typical student role. This was also Emark's starting role PM. We'll get to that later. I decided he didn't finish learning before he was killed, otherwise he would've shown up as Town Aligned House Of Mirrors Operator. and really confused some people.

You are the Town Aligned Hypnotist.

A professional at your craft, you find it rather easy to get into the minds of most people and convince them to do things they normally wouldn't. You were setting up for your first performance of the day when everything went crazy. Your stage was one of the first targets, though you luckily had your supplies on you.

Each night phase you may PM me the name of someone you wish to target, and who you wish for them to use their ability on instead of their original target.

You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

MLT could've caused a lot of things to go very differently, had she made it past the first night. Instead, everyone was saved a world of confusion, as she sent Crychon to Jaded, which didn't cause anything to happen. This was one of the few "upgraded" job roles that could not be learned by the students. Not because it wouldn't amuse me, but because I know me, and if I learned this ability from someone, I'd use it on them the next night and break reality.

Thinking back on it, I suppose it's as simple as she'd send whoever she was sent to, to the person she was sending her initial target to. Still, headache.

What you didn't see:

Bak42 investigated Jaded and found him to be town aligned.

lukess roleblocked Imarevenant to keep him from making himself look town.

foolinc protected lukess. The first person to target lukess would've been silenced. Yeah, there was a silencer in the game.

"Didn't expect this game to be this dark"

SEVEN people targeted people they couldn't reach. Out of seventeen actions this night, SEVEN couldn't find the target.

I needed 24 dogs and Astil needed twice that.
