First off, happy new years everyone!

Now onto the main thing I wanted to talk about, progress! (on the data, not the UK wrestling company) So, I'm about done calculating the popularity for the companies and after that, the data should be ready to be released!

I guess this means that if you want any tag teams/stables/events/titles/TV Shows/etc. entered into the data, PLEASE DO SO IN THE NEXT 12-24 HOURS!

Minor note - The Rock is down as an authority figure rather than in ring talent meaning the pop for WWA is too far down. When I play the game I will rapidly be able to get around that but in a watcher game it of course has a huge effect on their pop. The same would be true for other peoples games.

<p>Man, apparently 6 months in Shimna retires. Something even weirder though is who replaced him.</p><p> </p><p>

I N O K I.</p><p> </p><p>

Based on how much they hate each other I probably see why Shinma left and retired seeing as how he was hired the same month.</p>

<p>Here's some more notes from year 1 of a watcher game.</p><p> </p><p>

Mae Young died in September. Two weeks later, WWE(?) inducted her into the HOF.</p><p> </p><p>

NOVA had okay times, they lost Shinma but gained Inoki, brought in some fine touring talent(Amazing Red, Jack Evans, Jose Maximo, El Sagrado, and Yoshitsune being a couple names). Not everything was good though, from what I can tell the stables fell apart and both of the strong style stables are destroyed, since Nakajima, KaShin, and Shibata all quit. Other people that quit also include Taichi and Delfin, which makes me very sad:(. There were some good signings though, such as Masato Tanaka(who quit within a month), Jonny Storm, Jody Fleisch, and Stalker Ichikawa. Also, NOVA got ousted as being bully heavy in their offices. So overall, fine year, but if it keeps going like this there's a good chance the recently generated ICW is gonna overtake my baby.</p><p> </p><p>

Wrestler of the Year: Nakamura(BHOTWG)</p><p>

Company of the Year: BHOTWG</p><p>

Team of the Year: Cho-Ten(BHOTWG)</p><p>

Match of the Year: Kobashi V. Nakamura(99, BHOTWG)</p><p>

Show of the Year: BHOTWG Skull and Bones(Sakuraba V. Nakamura was a 95)</p><p>

Young Wrestler of the Year: Mistico(AAA)</p><p>

Veteran Wrestler of the Year: Toshiaki Kawada(ROF)</p><p>

Female Wrestler of the Year: Dark Angel(AAA)</p><p>

Most Improved Company: AAA</p><p>

Indy Wrestler of the Year: Electroshock</p><p>

Manager of the Year: Vince McMahon(DWA)</p><p>

Announcer of the Year: Jim Ross(WWA)</p><p>

Color Commentator of the Year: Arturo Rivera(AAA)</p><p>

Referee of the Year: Shuichi Nishinaga(ROF)</p><p> </p><p>

Let's talk about BHOTWG for a sec because WHOO DOGGY for all their success this year they're one strange company. </p><p>

The BASHAMS ARE OVER. Not with the crowd, but with booking, because they're two time Tag champs. RN the tag title is being defended by Cho-Ten, but it's been vacated by almost every team, which last happened when the Bashams won the titles and then quit the company. Sorry Uncrewed. </p><p>

Nakamura won the Junior title in January and has gone full Okada with 12 defenses and is still champ. Yoshiko Tamura also went full Okada and had 13 defenses, but lost the title to Victoria on the 2nd to last Sunday of the year. </p><p>

The openweight title is currently at 100 prestige, and has been won by Misawa, Kobashi, and Psychosis.</p><p>

Finally, the world title has been held by Kojima for a while, but he won it from the first ever champ, Mohammed Yone.</p><p>

Another funny thing is Trent Acid worked for BHOTWG for a while, but quit, but in the process became more over in Japan than anywhere else.</p>

Major News </p><p> </p><p>

TJ Wilson & Eric Bischoff</p><p>

Ken Doane & The Rock</p><p>

Brodie Lee & Paul Heyman</p><p> </p><p>

Not a lot of movement employment wise – a few people each fed especially those guys who feuded with the bookers. </p><p> </p><p>

Now for the Dead Pool – Shockingly not from ECW (UWF) the winner is the DWA on the 2nd Friday of Sept 06 when Terry Bollea lectures a bunch of school kids on eating their prayers and saying their vitamins before going home and taking a bunch of SOMA, skulling a bottle of Vodka and snorting a big bag of cocaine before passing away peaceully in his coma from a drug overdose! No more 24 Inch Pythons Brother – Hulkamania is no more.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>My take</strong> – Well the data set The Rock as an authority figure which tanked the WWA's pop and initial match ratings and the AI of course made Batista champ .. . no wait that would be smart – no 10 months of Chris Harris carrying the belt slowed the WWA's progress. Once again the AI is an idiot. Now can I better that performance – well assuming I don't stick a sharp knife through my ear into my brain I had better! Harris clearly got a great roll and became a bit of a breakout star for the WWA signing a Written contract near the end of the year. He of course dropped the belt to Batista … nah just kidding James Storm - way to go AI you doofus!</p>

Minor change - TV Match should be 60 not 40 - even the Rock and Austin cant talk that much <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
