They discuss The Hart Foundation and their match with The Russians on Prime Time Wrestling. They announce that a recap of that match will be shown later on tonight. Then, Monsoon sends us to the ring for our opening contest...B -In a bout that had terrible wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, The American Express(D-) defeated Orient Express(Tanaka-D, Kato-E+) in 6:27 when Mike Rotundo defeated Kato by pinfall with a Samoan Drop...D -In a video, Gene Okerlund hosts the King of the Ring Event Center. He begins by discussing the win last Monday by Sid Vicious. Sid is now the first person to move to the quarterfinals of the tournament. He announces that this Monday we will have another match in the tournament. This match will feature Animal of the Legion of Doom against Earthquake. He sends us to a promo with Jimmy Hart and Earthquake. Jimmy Hart hypes the match, announcing that his man, Earthquake, will be the winner of the tournament and walk away as the new King of the Ring. He says that Animal is not even strong enough to survive an Earthquake...C -In a video promo, Mr. Fuji introduces his latest client: Monster Ripper. He says that she is the most terrifying female wrestler from the orient and will make a great addition to his expanding group, which also includes Demolition.. Fuji announces that Ripper will make her in-ring debut this Monday on Prime Time Wrestling. He promises a bloodbath for any opponent who faces her...B- -In a bout that had terrible wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, Alundra Blayze(D) defeated Candi Devine(E+) in 5:50 by pinfall with a Diving Crossbody...D+ -Alundra Blayze is celebrating her victory in the ring. Luna Vachon attacks her from behind. She takes Alundra down with a scoop slam before hitting the Luna Eclipse. Luna grabs Alundra by the hair and begins ramming her head again and again on the mat, screaming. Officials run in and break things up...C- -In a backstage promo, The Million Dollar Man stands by with Hercules. DiBiase says that he has spoken with Jack Tunney and received a tag team match this Monday with himself and Hercules against The Hart Foundation. He says that he and his money will prove that he should have been the one to face The Russians. He reminds Canada that everybody has a price for The Million Dollar Man...C+ -In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Jake Roberts(C+) defeated The Barbarian© in 12:20 when The Barbarian was disqualified when The Warlord ran in and attacked Jake Roberts...B- -Jake Roberts is being attacked by The Powers Of Pain in the ring. Seeing the assault, The Rockers come running down to the ring and catch The Powers Of Pain with dual missile dropkicks, sending them rolling out of the ring. The Rockers celebrate in the ring with Jake Roberts as we fade to the final video...B- -A video plays showcasing a recap from Prime Time Wrestling. The focus is on the main event where The Hart Foundation defeated The Russians by disqualification...B-</div></div><div></div></blockquote></div>

Hey angel, just glossed over the major details of the diary and will be doing a complete read in a few. This is amazing work, buddy! Having the balls to reunite the Mega Powers as heels which I assume is the inspiration for the diary to exist, I applaud you. Good to see that Hot Rod is in the other end of the story, a loner regardless of what side he's on. Keep up the good work, you know I'll be here!

Monday Week 4 April 1991

-The WWF returns to the United States for Prime Time Wrestling this week. What a main event we have. For the very first time in the WWF, The Immortal Hulk Hogan takes on the WWF Intercontinental Champion Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat. These two men have some of the most historic careers in the WWF. They also scored major victories at WrestleMania where Hogan defeated Sgt. Slaughter and The Dragon won the Intercontinental title from Mr. Perfect. Only one man can pick up the victory in this match of two legends. Make sure you tune in to the USA network to find out which man it is.

-Speaking of Hulk Hogan, this week we will see the three man group known as The Mega Powers, including Hogan, WWF Heavyweight Champion Randy Savage and Sid Vicious, as special guests on The Barber Shop with Brutus Beefcake. Beefcake is known to be a good friend of Hulk Hogan so it will be interesting to see what kind of questions The Barber asks these men. The three men have dominated the WWF since forming their group, including Savage winning the WWF Heavyweight title and then defending it against The Ultimate Warrior. Warrior has not been seen since the three men attacked him after the match.

-Our first hour main event is a solid tag team match where we will see the team of The Million Dollar Man and Hercules take on the former WWF World Tag Team Champions The Hart Foundation. Last week, we saw the debut of Bret's brothers Owen Hart and Keith Hart as they came to their rescue. Will Owen and Keith be a part of this match? What lengths will The Million Dollar Man go to in order to secure a victory?

-The King of the Ring tournament continues in another first round match. This match should be a hard hitting contest as Earthquake steps in the ring to take on the Road Warrior Animal. Hawk was taken out awhile back, leaving Animal in singles action. Both of these men are brawlers and strong. The winner of this contest will take on Sid Vicious in the second round.

-Plus we will see the Women's Division continue to expand as Monster Ripper makes her WWF debut against Bambi, Mike Sharpe takes on the debut of 'The Rocket' Owen Hart, Mr. Perfect returns to the WWF and more coming to you on Prime Time Wrestling!

Hey Smasher1311! Thanks for the comments. I'm glad you're enjoying the stories so far. Roddy Piper is always a good foil for Hulk Hogan no matter what the era.

I am sorry to have to say that my sister passed away on the 3rd of the month. I went back east for a little over 2 weeks for the funeral and to spend time with my parents. Honestly, my life will never be the same again. There will always be a part of my heart missing. To everyone reading this, make sure you hold your loved ones close. You never know when that day will come that they will be gone.

Comments: I could see Animal getting some singles success while Hawk is away but I figure that hype angle for Earthquake means he´s going to get forward instead.

The Million Dollar Man and Hercules vs. The Hart Foundation

Comments: Winner here makes a strong case to challenge Russians again and with last match between Russians and Foundation ending in DQ, I think they go forward here, possibly with DQ in case you want to keep MDM and Hercules strong.

Mike Sharpe vs. Owen Hart

Comments: I don´t think Sharpe has won a match so far in this diary and I doubt he would win one against future big star like Owen.

Non-Title Match

Hulk Hogan vs. Ricky Steamboat

Comments: Hogan just doesn´t lose, at least not that often. I guess he can potentially lose slightly more now that he´s heel but with Steamboat being the Intercontinental champion, I don´t see challenging for the main belt right now and if he doesn´t... well, I doubt he would go over Hogan if he´s not a contender for the main belt.

Monsoon talks about what a great match that should be. Heenan says he's torn because he hates both guys. Rockin' Robin approaches the announce booth and takes Vince McMahon's spot for the next match as she wants to see Monster Ripper up close. With that, we head to the ring...B -In a bout that had terrible wrestling and non-existent crowd heat, Monster Ripper(C-) defeated Bambi(E) in 5:50 by pinfall with a Splash...D -The match is over and Bambi is left down. Monster Ripper is celebrating, but then stops and sees her opponent still on the ground. She attacks, and beats her into the canvas. Seeing this, Rockin' Robin leaves the announce booth and confronts Ripper. Ripper shoves Rockin' Robin to the mat but Rockin' Robin pops back up and throws punches to the larger competitor. Mr. Fuji distracts Rockin' Robin, leading to a clothesline from Ripper. Ripper lays Rockin' Robin out with a Gorilla Press Slam and then a Splash. Mr. Fuji raises Monster Ripper's arm in the air as the crowd boos...D+ -In a video, Gene Okerlund hosts Update. He talks about the attack by Luna Vachon on Alundra Blayze this past Saturday on WWF Superstars. He sends us to a promo by Alundra Blayze. Alundra says that she doesn't take the attack lightly. Then, she challenges Luna Vachon to a match this week on WWF Superstars. Alundra says that a second generation wrestler like Luna should have more respect. She intends to beat this respect into her on Superstars...C -In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Animal© defeated Earthquake(B-) in 5:55 by pinfall with a Scoop Powerslam. Referee=Joey Marella...C+ -Backstage, the four members of The Hart Foundation give a promo. Bret Hart welcomes his little brother, Owen Hart, to the WWF. Owen Hart says that they call him The Rocket because of how fast he is. He plans to prove that later on tonight. Jim Neidhart talks about the match taking place tonight where The Hart Foundation will take on The Million Dollar Man and Hercules. He says he has the power to take out Hercules and Bret Hart has the technical expertise to take out DiBiase. Owen Hart pipes in, saying he has their back if anything happens. Keith Hart just stands in the background, nodding along with his brothers...B- -In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Hart Foundation(Bret-B, Jim-B-) defeated The Million Dollar Man(B+) and Hercules© in 11:33 when Hercules got disqualified after going into a rage and refusing to stop assaulting Bret Hart. Hercules was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance...B -Post-match, Hercules locks Bret Hart in the Full Nelson, allowing The Million Dollar Man to get a few shots in. The attack is turned around, though, when Owen Hart and Keith Hart arrive and slide in the ring. Owen Hart catches Hercules with a missile dropkick leading to Jim Neidhart rushing into the ring. Neidhart clotheslines DiBiase over the top rope. The group known as The Hart Foundation stand tall in this moment...B -At the announce booth, Gorilla Monsoon, Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan talk about tonight's show before they are interrupted. A distorted voice sounds over the P.A. system, stating that the Heenan Family is in a lot of trouble. The voice says that 'he' is coming after Bobby Heenan, reminding him that quality can never be replaced. The lights flicker a moment before silence. Heenan looks disturbed at the announce table as we swing over to the staging area...B+ -At the staging area, Brutus Beefcake hosts The Barber Shop with special guests Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Sid Vicious. Beefcake expresses his disappointment in Hogan, claiming that Hogan was once his best friend but he doesn't even know Hogan anymore. Hogan responds that the three men there are the best in professional wrestling. Randy Savage reminds Beefcake that he is the WWF Heavyweight Champion. Sid Vicious claims to be the master and ruler of the world. Beefcake tries to focus on Hogan but Savage gets offended by the lack of attention and shoves Beefcake backward. Out from the back come Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat, The British Bulldog and the returning The Ultimate Warrior. The larger group run off Hogan, Savage and Sid before checking on Beefcake. Randy Savage raises the WWF Heavyweight title belt in the background...A* -In a bout that had sub-par wrestling and little heat, Owen Hart(C-) defeated Mike Sharpe(D) in 6:22 by pinfall with a Missile Dropkick. Referee=Jack Doan...D+ -In a video, Gene Okerlund hosts another edition of Update. He talks about the next big pay-per-view event scheduled for next month called WWF World Tour. He says that this may include the next guest, Chris Chavis. Chavis gives a promo talking about winning at WrestleMania but that doesn't mean anything if he can't continue to showcase his Native American talent. Chavis issues an open challenge for Superstars, willing to fight any comers. He says that with the power of the great spirit and his people he will prove victorious. We cut back to Okerlund, who discusses the latest happenings between The Rockers and The Powers Of Pain. With more on that, he sends us to a promo with The Rockers. Shawn Michaels starts off by saying that The Rockers are used to facing men who are bigger than they are but that never stopped them. Marty Jannetty says that The Powers Of Pain made a huge mistake when they decided to go after the best tag team in the WWF. With that, Michaels challenges The Powers Of Pain to a match at WWF World Tour. He says that they are going to rock The Powers Of Pain Rockers style...B- -In an exceptional match, Hulk Hogan(A) defeated Ricky Steamboat(B+) in 19:50 by pinfall with a Big Leg Drop following interference from Randy Savage. During the match we also had Sid Vicious run in and attack Steamboat...A -Following the loss, Mr. Perfect attacks Ricky Steamboat in the ring. Perfect grabs the WWF Intercontinental title belt and smashes Steamboat with the belt. An angry Perfect throws the belt down and then picks up Steamboat, hooking him and landing a PerfectPlex on the belt. Perfect releases and stands up, looking down at Steamboat. Perfect yells that this attack was absolutely perfect. The cameras focus in on the downed Ricky Steamboat as the show comes to an end...A*</div></div><div></div></blockquote></div> With that, I am making the decision to call this diary to a close. I just don't feel the energy to continue with it. It could be to do with my sister or other things. I'm just not sure.
