I like the interview you did for Toshusai. I feel like an interview was better than straight up promos. It allows different questions to pop up. It added not only to the match but Toshusai's character as well.

I also wanted to commend your design for the shows. I've never understood how to do those special designs for shows so it's so cool to me whenever I see others use it.

The Hurt (Billy Robinson & Nigel Svensson) def. The Ring Generals (Dean Waldorf & Marv Statler) (17m22s) when Svensson used a Hyper Extension Arm Lock on Waldorf. [78]]

- After losing last year's final, Hurt was triumphant in this year edition of the S-1 Tag League. In an "All-Gaijin" match Robinson and Svensson escaped multiple tries of the Wheelbarrow Bomb which caused dramatic moments in front of a packed Saitama crowd. It was a hot tag to Svensson who lead The Hurt to victory when the swedish man locked in his Arm Lock submission to let Waldorf tap out.</blockquote>

Backstage Comments

Robinson & Svensson: "We came close many times. Lost the Tag league last year, messed two title challenges up - Finally we won something here. OWARI vs. Hurt III is next, we're ready to win the belts."

Razan Okamoto: "I'm ready to get my belt back. Kato can do everything he want, he and his pals did so much to me in the last months, i'm prepared. I will be the first one to overcome his Choke Sleeper and the first two time champion as well. "

Bunrakuken Torii: "Gauge is a coward. He's actually a good wrestler, but not a brave one. I would be ashamed if i'm not winning against him in January. I have to proof something."

!OOC!

Last big show that was simulated with TEW 16. It's a bit stressful atm, we're moving house so it will be quite for a couple of days.

Good show, the finals see The Hurt get redemption for past losses and now have the S1 League which is a big achievement in its own right. I’d say more impressive than getting tag gold. But will this be enough momentum to take down Owari?

Good storyline with Kato and Razan, Kato has his Choke built up and now it’s a big question of Razan can take him down.

Torri v Gauge is another good simple feud, Torri questioning his guts while also complimenting him.

PRESS CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

Tadakuni-Toshusai.pngGregGauge.pngmorimisa-kato.pngsarumara.pngBunrakuken-Torii.pngRazanOkamoto.png

~ Tadakuni Toshusai said that he's looking forward to face a former INSPIRE man. "It's very special for me to face him. It's Burning against INSPIRE, two tough men in a WCG ring. Let us tore the house down"

~ WCG IC Champ Greg Gauge isn't afraid of Torii's skills: "You know, he may won the S-1 Festival, but lost to me and lost every major titlematch here, so why should i be worried?"

~ WCG World Heavyweight Champion Morimasa Kato told us that he's going to choke Okamoto again, make him unconscious and never defend the belt against him anymore.

~ Sotatsu Sarumara smirked around when he's starting to talk about his Toshusai-fight: "I'm excited. He's talkin' 'bout Burning Hammer and INSPIRE? His choice. I'm going to break his arm in two pieces and send him back to the p*ssies in Orange & Gold."

~ Bunrakuken Torii stated that he may never win a singles title in WCG, but his S-1 Festival win should be a warning to the american Greg Gauge: "I'm not sure why he's always so confident in his skills? His biggest tricks are his lackeys."

~ Former WCG World Heavyweight Champion Razan Okamoto said that he's going to be the first ever two time WCG World Heavyweight champion and the first one to escape Kato's Choke Sleeper.

- It wasn't a surprise that quarrels Kato and Okamoto did not win the match for their respective teams. Shimizu was more focussed than his boss, cranking the neck of Turner for the win. Young gun Motoyuki Miyake had a shove-contest with Shikitei.

- Fresh signed Tadakuni Toshusai took Nobuhiko Serizawa on his side to team up with him against the two time WCG Tag Team champions White Justice. Yanagita had a lot of fun toying around with Hanami Cup winner Serizawa, eventually he delivered his prey to buddy Sarumara, who got the win here.

- Ray Snow wasn't amused with OWARI's antics in their Six-Man Tag match. The current Tag kings were more angry than ever, Kita nearly broke Mizoguchi in two pieces. Snow interrupted which lead Kita to shove him back.

- Kenka versus xDREAM again, but on this day xDREAM had the better ending when Okamoto pinned Junior Heavyweight Akamatsu after his Knee Strike. - The blood is boiling between Morioka and his former partner Petr Novak, who joined Rogue Squad recently. Morioka tried to get the big Czech up for his trademark Backdrop Suplex, however he failed. Good for him that Torii later on pinned Diaz for the win.</p><p> </p><p>

- Boy oh boy! Just like yesterday Snow wasn't pleased with OWARI as his partners. Mizoguchi, a bit tired due to yesterday's show, was treated like a child by Kita and Narahashi. Svensson locked in his Arm Lock on Mizoguchi, who had to tap. Kita was pissed afterwards and slapped Mizoguchi across the face, Snow got in between at the right time.</p><p>

test.png

Sixteen. Sixteen months strong. It's like a dream because i'd never thought that i will be able to do it that long. Maybe it would be way further into the save, but i'm married & father with a shiftwork so it was not easy to update the thread on a daily base. Anyway i'm proud of what i achieved here, winning two awards with a diary which got not that much text like others. I would like to thank each and everyone of my readers and to the whole community.

White Canvas Grappling is going 2K20!

- Ratings

So i did a few test runs with WCG with my converted 2016 database and the ratings were not that good as in TEW 16. So if you should "critize" the ratings, please have in mind that TEW 20 is totally different to my TEW 16 ratings.

- Only Televised shows will be posted

There are too many shows. When i started the whole thing i posted EVERY tour show i booked in TEW, but that's not what i'm going to do with the new TEW. I'll only post the televised road to shows and the big tour finales or tournaments. Why? I would love to go deeper into the save and i think i can achieve that with this tactic.

- more realistic schedule

I mean i think i've done a pretty decent job regarding a realistic schedule, but i'm eying a bit more realism. Big shows will be only in bigger cities (Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka etc.), bigger televisde road to shows will only be in bigger venues (for example Saitama Sports Field). You won't see a televised show from "Bumf*ck, Kyushu" anytime soon.

- New Roster members and leavings

Some guys will leave the company. With the new excursion feature i didn't have to pretend that guys like Katou or Matsumoto are on excursion because they're really on excursion lol. Anyway with the new Dojo stuff five new young boys will join WCG at the end of January so a bunch of guys will leave us or were signed by bigger companies. I'm not a fan of kayfabe news in diaries, so i'm unsure to post a list of them. You definetly should check out the first page for informations.

- Goals

My goals are still the same, but i have never told that in the thread before. My goal is NOT beating Burning or Pride ever. I'm more into a realistic stuff. I'm simply not a fan of doing a dynasty and the goal is to beat BHOWTG, because that's not that realistic at all. You won't do a BJW diary to overcome NJPW, right? If i'm going to increase in size? Sure good. If not? Doesn't matter to me at all.

I think that's it for now. I hope that i can post a little preview for Anniversary until sunday. On monday i'm going on vacation with my family so i'm not able to post new stuff. Have a good one lads!

The son of Sam Keith entered WCG in January, nearly reached the final of the S-1 Festival and succesfully challenged for the, back then known as, National championship. Gauge then continued to defend the belt in rather unfair fashion which caused him even more enemies..just like Bunrakuken Torii. The "Machine Gun" may won the S-1 Festival, but couldn't win the World title then. What concerns Torii even more is the fact that he lost to Gauge during S-1 Festival. Can Torii beat Gauge now? And can he finally win a WCG belt?</justify>

"The Armlock Wizard" Sotatsu Sarumara vs. "The Shocker" Tadakuni Toshusai

<justify>It's about pride, honor, BURNING & .. INSPIRE?! Toshusai had his debut in Osaka and challenged Sarumara to a match at Anniversary which Sarumara accepted. Toshusai stated in an interview with our homepage that he's loving a tough fight and Sarumara is one of the toughes sob's out there. Like Toshusai said, it's not just a fight between two guys, it's a fight between two mindsets!</justify>

WCG World Tag Team Championship

OWARI (Azumamaro Kita & Fujio Narahashi) © vs. The Hurt (Billy Robinson & Nigel Svensson) (7th Defense)

Hands down Kita and Narahashi are the most dominant tag team in the history of White Canvas Grappling. OWARI has beaten Outsider teams like Forlon Hope, foreign tag teams like The Ring Generals and the best WCG has to offer like White Justice - All those teams failed to beat OWARI except The Hurt. Robinson and Svensson scored two wins over OWARI: The first one took place at the first Anniversary show last year, the second victory was at the Block-Finals at this year's S-1 Tag League. The two knows how to beat OWARI, can they capture the gold from then too?

Special Tag Match

"Polish Power" Pavel Vanzycha & Sterling Whitlock vs. "The Lion" Yoshinaka Taku & "Genius" Hitomaro Suzuki

One man's meat is another man's poison - On the last day of the S-1 Tag League, Taku and Suzuki took a win over Vanzycha and Whitlock which eliminated them and send The Hurt to the finals. The Rogue Squad members did not forgot that loss and attacked the two fan favourites multiple times. Which team will be succesfull? With a win here a potential tag title shot is upon them!

WCG Junior Heavyweight Championship

Stone Yoshikawa © vs. Japanese Phoenix (4th Defense)

Who's the best Junior Heavyweight in White Canvas Grappling? Japanese Phoenix may be the inaugral titleholder, however he failed on his 4th Defense in July and dropped the title to the debuting Stone Yoshikawa. Is Yoshikawa's fourth defense a potential hint for another title drop?

The masked veterans won a eight team tournament to become the first inaugral Junior Heavyweight tag team champions and has beaten their Anniversary-challengers in the semifinals of that tournament. All good things come in..two?!
