<p>Hey mate! Yes i can definetly add some grades to the matches, but i won't do any "non-kayfabe" stuff on here. That's not my type of an dynasty tbh, i'm not a fan of how Funakoshi sees the working relationship with us. On-gimmick (or kayfabe) it's clearly an invasion angle and not a working relationship, i won't communicate that on-air of course.</p><p> </p><p>

I do "Backstage comments", small notes, at every "bigger" show but not for the road shows. I like my road shows similar to the New Japan ones: It's for the live crowd audience, it may be repeatedly but that's the way it is. </p><p> </p><p>

I really appreciate your feedback every time, i just wanted to share my view of things <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>Hey man, I'm appreciating the dynasty so it's right back at you.</p><p> </p><p>

And I understand your reasoning, I just think it could be a boon creatively for you. </p><p> </p><p>

Another idea I had was maybe doing the fast finish of a Road To main event from a fan perspective? Figured it could help in fleshing out finishers for you.</p>

<p>Right, so this is interesting because you can contrast the influence of a Logan Wolfsbaine or Pavel Vanzchya with broken down deathmatch workers and green rookies to a purely Japanese six man. </p><p> </p><p>

I think it's kind of telling that at this point the gaijin might be some of your best workers. I feel that's usually the case in a startup, but it also helps reinforce my RPS mentality of having gaijin beat main eventers, main eventers beating midcarders and midcarders beating gajin.</p>

- What a night for White Canvas Grappling. Semi Main Event victory for Nagai & Suzuki, Main Event title victory for the vets Sarumara & Yanagita! You could clearly see that "The Arm Lock Wizard" and "The Dog Of War" worked really well together and trust each other blindly. Sarumara stopped Torii to help his partner in the ring: </p><p>

The veteran had Torii in a choke move, so the BCG champion had the best place to see how Yanagita punched the living crap out of Yokokawa to win the inaugral tag titles.</p><p>

<p>Great double main event there. Shocked that Funakoshi was able to drag Matsushita to that good of a match this yearly, but that just goes to show the (OTL underappreciated) quality of Nagai and Suzuki. </p><p> </p><p>

Brandon Smith vs. Morimaso Kato continues to be an anticipated match, one that I think can herald a post-BCG top-level stable. </p><p> </p><p>

You bringing in Koyama was definitely a surprise, as I don't perceive him to be a must-have worker in any capacity. Would love to know the mindset behind that pickup. </p><p> </p><p>

Ex-WEXXV vs. SAISHO was a great match for the mid-card. I think variations of this match could main event half a dozen Japanese micro-indies without fail. </p><p> </p><p>

First two matches are work-matches, clearly. Nakao and Ozawa stand out as sore thumbs. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

- The first succesfull title defense is in the books! "Tornado" Nagai fought like a champion, unfortunately the Butterfly Backbreaker was his end.

The challenger let the crowd erupted after he hit a Knee Strike and a German Suplex for a very close nearfall. Nagai was going for the Kill with his Fireball, only for Funakoshi to reserve it and to beat him with his Backbreaker.

- Funakoshi took a microfon, he insulted every White Canvas staff member, wrestler and the fans, subsequently he spit on the belt and Yokokawa kicked Nagai in front of the head.

The cavalry, Sarumara, Yanagita & Suzuki, came down to the ring, but they were confronted by Torii and Matsuhita, only to get hit by Taheiji Konoe from behind!! Funakoshi said that his "Black Terror Unit" is going to destroy all of WCG!

<p>Interesting event. </p><p> </p><p>

I think you can pit Gidayu Katou & Omezo Shikitei against the Chaos Demons by the next tour, to help grind them a bit more. </p><p> </p><p>

There being both a Black Iron Corps and a Black Terror Unit in WCG might make for some confusion. White Terror Unit (as in they're terrorizing WCG) might have been better. Still, BIC vs. WCG should be a fun tag title match. </p><p> </p><p>

Taheji Konoe joining BTU was a surprise, if only because I figured you'd keep him around the mid-card for a while with Chaos Demons while BTU vs. WCG ran it's course. It's an interesting wrinkle to the story, but one I'm not sure about long term since BCG / WEXXV are two stylistically different backgrounds.</p>

<p>Thanks for your continuously feedback, Hashasheen!</p><p> </p><p>

I think Koyama is okay, solid - Typical midcard. He's got good psychology, so he's a solid pickup. It's try and error for a young promotion, i'm not that happy with some guys on the roster, so i'm trying around a bit.</p><p> </p><p>

The C-Verse is a perfect and beautiful place for every creative head out there. I think you can do everything you want, it's pure fantasy and that's the best way to look at it. </p><p> </p><p>

I've never mentioned that Kita and Narahashi are "Black Iron Corps" at White Canvas Grappling, they're simply Kita & Narahashi atm, ergo there is no Black Iron Corps in WCG. But i totally get your point, it's confusing if you think about SAISHO, that's why i never mentioned "BIC" in any posts:D.</p><p> </p><p>

Konoe is the new wrecking ball for the Black Terror Unit, a pure monster, the brutal bone of the invasion stable. It doesn't matter if WEXXV is different to BCG imo, they're here at WCG to make an impact and to run this place. </p><p> </p><p>

Just like i said: The C-Verse is a perfect and beautiful place for every creative head out there:)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Sunday evening in Germany, i'll put some new post online later. Going to watch some of AEW now (did New Japan in the morning), pack my bags for tomorrows flight to London.</p>

WCG ANNOUNCED WORKING AGREEMENT WITH NYCW & SAISHO

NYCW.jpgSAISHO.jpg

After WCG made their Chugoku-debut, White Canvas Grappling announced that they have signed a working agreement with Pro Wrestling SAISHO from Tohuko prefecture & New York City Wrestling from the United States.

NYCW are a very old school wrestling based promotion from New York City, founded in 1988 by The Stomper. Meanwhile the famous Larry Vessey is the owner of NYCW, Vessey himself is no stranger to the japanese audience: He worked for Pride Glory Honor Wrestling from 2006 and 2009. And thus the circle closes...

.. SAISHO is the former PGHW- development territory owned by the legendary Mito Miwa. SAISHO was the place where many wrestlers had their first steps onto the canvas, just like current WCG wrestler Hirokichi Yoemon.

WCG president Junnosoku Fukazawa was joined by Mito Miwa and Larry Vessey from New York to announce their newly signed partnership. Fukazawa was happy with their discussions about pro wrestling, also he said that we can expect some of their talent in an WCG ring in the near future.

> Changing from number ratings to star ratings.

Man, AEW did a bigger number on you than I thought. Not sure it's the best way to comp top of the card to the bottom of the card, visually.

NYCW and SAISHO? Mentally I can see NYCW / SAISHO more than I can WCG with either, but you've used SAISHO guys to a strong role so far so this was to be expected. NYCW is interesting, because I can mentally backdoor Bulldozer Smith as being the connector between Vessey and WCG. But a few of their guys are BCG, so that just leaves me wondering if they might not filter over to WCG slowly...

</p><div style="text-align:left;"><p>"Everybody got love for pro-wrestling", WCG president Junnosoku Fukazawa smiled. The 55 years old boss announced the upcoming tour called "<strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Pro Wrestling Love</span></strong>" - Seven shows, two big ones in Aichi & Saitama.</p><p> </p><p>

We'll have a big tag team title match to celebrate our debut in Aichi - The current champions will have their first title defence against a team from Pro Wrestling SAISHO, <strong>Azumamaro Kita</strong> & <strong>Fujio Narahashi</strong>, from this time on they will named as OWARI. "SAISHO means the start, OWARI means the end. Every opponent will face his end if they're going to take on us.", Kita told at the press conference. Furthermore we'll see a Special Singles Match between <strong>Morisama Kato</strong> and the big <strong>Bulldozer Brandon Smith</strong> from NYWC. They both had heated battles in the last tour, both men granted a match against each other. </p><p> </p><p>

"Saitama is our big spot, our heart & soul. We made a deal with Maeda [bCG president] to finally proof that we're strong enough to compete against them.", Fukazawa said this last sentence very confident. Double header title matches - <strong>Funakoshi</strong> has to defend his WCG World Championship against "The Dog Of War" <strong>Kimitada Yanagit</strong><strong>a</strong>. </p><div style="text-align:left;"><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;">Q: What are your thoughts on the upcoming "Pro Wrestling Love Tour"?</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;">

Miyake: This tour is the biggest of my life. In Aichi we [Hidekazu Ozawa] have to face the newly formed Black Terror Unit, Konoe and Matsushita, they're both so strong and big. In Saitama three men step in the ring with me, which i don't like. I had faced all three of them across the last tour. It's time to step up.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;">

Q: Do you think it's possible to win these matches?</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;">

M: I definitely think it’s possible, yes. I came close to beat Vanzycha on the Super Battle tour, and i came close to pin Hitomi, too. I don't know about Konoe and Matsushita, but i need to find a hole in their game.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;">

Q: Tell us about Ozawa-sans influence on you?</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;">

M: He's my senpai. I'm grateful that he took me under his wings and the countless hours that we share in his private ring to train. He's a great teacher, a well travelled veteran.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;">

Q: What are your goals in WCG?</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Arial;"><span style="font-size:14px;">

M: To be the best and win titles. First of all i would like to have a tag team title with Ozawa-senpai. I would dedicate the championship to his effort to make me a better fighter. </span></span></p></div><p></p><p> </p><p>
