I'm working on my iso right now so it's difficult to contribute live as well.

 

1. How do you feel about my read on you? What's fair/unfair about it?

 

2. If it is MLT or Destiny, which one? Likelihood of both?

 

3. Who wasn't on the Archer Day Three Vote? How many of them do you think are scum?

tbh, I actually agree with TSS's thoughts that the scum team is led by an experienced player, it could either be you or Rev in my opinion, it seems strange to me that the scum had been offing reasonable but unlikely targets without going after some of the higher posters I had chalked it up to more high priority targets, but as seen in the previous game, not taking out someone like TSS is quite questionable. TSS already summarized my sentiments in considering you scum, as for Rev, something just feels off. I looked at him for two nights in a row, I got nothing on the first, but Bak on the second, it seems improbable that someone like him won't get targeted by scum, it does makes sense that Bak would target him, but why didn't it work like Mich's recruitment? I may be missing something, since I am not overly familiar with this, but isn't it scum the only thing cults can't recruit??

Yeah, the scum group are avoiding the usual suspects it seems. they probably were wary that he could be protected. I almost considered not picking Mich, for the same logic. Seeing as Eliphas seems to have been guarding the doc, I wonder who the doctor's target was. Also, any other thoughts Emark? Who seems more scummy to you?

 

At the risk of picking LHF, lukess would be on that list. I see bank with votes as well, so he is obviously on a lot peoples radar.

Honestly, I wouldn't want anyone to say they KNOW I am town anyways. Far as unfair, no... I don't think anything unreasonable about your suspicions at all. Fact is, if they weren't there I would question your role more (same as I felt about Rev to be honest, on myself anyways).

 

2. If it is MLT or Destiny, which one? Likelihood of both?

I'm hoping both.

 

3. Who wasn't on the Archer Day Three Vote?

Reason being I don't know that scum knew for sure there was a cult yet, so they would know for sure Archer wasn't on their team. With how scummy he looked (at least to me, squash this if people don't agree with me on that part) it seemed a given townies would mislynch him without them having to be involved, so why risk being on a bad lynch?

How many of them do you think are scum?

Might be quite a few... I haven't really thought it through completely, totally new way of looking at that day now that the shock of what happened has worn off a bit for me.

 

4. How many mafia scum do you think there are?

I wanted to play more aggressive this game, now is the time to do just that.<p> </p><p> When I mentioned going back and forth on people, the 2-3 I was talking about were Destiny, MLT, and DJ. No lynches on day one and day two were bad for us and it made us not really even get started until day 3. Now we're suddenly looking at a mid-game with only 2 successful lynches; one townie and one cult scum.</p><p> </p><p> The biggest glaring difference between this game and Sunset for me is scum play. In Sunset, they all hid. So after Jaded was flipped, it naturally led to looking at MLT, Gonvick (and eventually Showtime). This game I'm not seeing any obvious connections between players. Which makes me think the scum team have experience on their side to each play effectively on their own, or at the very least, someone experienced calling the shots.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Individual logic:</strong> </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Destiny -</strong> Destiny would fit the bill as a player that plays well as town or scum. He's definitely been active and involved but I can't think of any actual moments that have his fingerprint on it. No particular discussion or push or anything that I can tie to him. Which makes me feel like he is just hiding.</p><p> </p><p> And this:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> This post has been bugging the heck out of me but not for the reason already brought up. Good cult is an oxymoron in my eyes.</p><p> </p><p> But I've been trying to think, what's the point of this post? My initial reasoning was that she's playing this game very differently than the last few and I took that to mean she's evolving/growing as a player. She definitely is. But now my concern is that I shouldn't have town-leaned her just for playing better, she might be evolving as scum that:</p><p> </p><p> A) learned from Sunset's strategic mistakes and Derek B's advice for town/scum.</p><p> B) has an experienced team that's making her more confident/bold enough to be participating in thread more</p><p> C) Both A & B</p><p> </p><p> In terms of posts, she keeps focusing on wanting to hear what Opulent is thinking. At first I thought she might have saw something at night. But as this has happened for a few day phases in a row now, I think she was reaching out to him as low hanging fruit since he was super inactive for a few days and now is continuing that because it'd be awkward to just stop asking for someone's reads.</p><p> </p><p> I'm not as confident on her as some others here I think, but I could definitely still see her being scum.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>DJ -</strong></p><p> </p><p> This is a controversial feeling, I recognize that. And he's the main person I keep flip-flopping on. So first off, I'll definitely say that it is possible for someone to have an off game. But this game, DJ just feels very different to me than some of the previous ones we've played together. </p><p> </p><p> If he is town then I feel like the pushback from Archer and Eliphas has thrown off his reads. And if he is, I hope this post wakes him up and helps get him back to usual form. Because we definitely could use it.</p><p> </p><p> But I'm growing more concerned that he may be scum and that's the reasoning behind having such an "off game". It gives him an excuse for having some wrong early pushes and a chance to hide in the back if he needs to. </p><p> </p><p> He made a post on D2 that got lost in the shuffle.
