Reading over the writeup, this is what my thoughts are: I think Blue and/or Ray were killed by scum. There was a lurky/sneaky man that killed him, reads mafia to me. Could be 1 mafia/1 SK kill too though. Blue's death triggered his animals to go crazy, I guess. The animals killed MLT, Paws, Hellshock, EP. Moving on, looks like DeadCaleb caught Eayragt at the scene of the crime. I see Eayragt claiming that's wrong but it looks pretty clear to me. I don't want to vote too quickly until we have nominations taken care of but that's likely where my vote will be. Eayragt: if I were you, it's time for a full claim if you want any chance of people to believe you. I feel a little less comfortable with Destiny in the council but fine with MoT and Derek B. Nominate: Derek B I think Derek had some strong logic last night. I respected him not just going with the obvious option immediately but truly thinking out both options fully. That felt like a town thing to me. I saw Destiny's point that Eayragt put a lot of distance between himself and Destiny after the nomination but I could still believe that was intentional. Not the DJ I'm accustomed to. I disagreed with him saying that Derek B and I looked scummy for pointing out the value of the night skip. Derek B's statement was clearly rooted, in my opinion, along the lines of "We're not doing this... but let me point out why it isn't as transparently bad as it sounds like at first". And he presented some sound logic. We just saw the power of night abilities with DeadCaleb catching Eayragt in the act. No one could've known that would have happened but without that, we'd probably not have much of a clear path this day phase. Two night phases gave town powers twice the chance to find something to give town a good path forward. Turns out it wasn't needed but the thought itself isn't a bad idea. This is going to veer in a different direction but I feel like DJ is super tough on himself and easy to think he made a bad decision. So after trusting Derek B, he was immediately reading every post like "Wow, I'm an idiot. Derek is clearly scum". I also didn't feel good about the council but I will concede that you three definitely acted in town's best interest last night. He avoided the thread for the first few phases until people started wondering where he went to. Wanting to know if he could have killed someone is a fair question, no? Holy deaths... I'm going to say Blue had a number of animals representing one shots. Maybe vigs, but perhaps tracks or blocks. The role was designed so when he died all the remaining animals broke lose and killed a random player. Would have been less dramatic on a later night. 2. I wasn't anywhere near Rayelek last night. You may be less than shocked to hear that I targeted Destiny last night. I won't be voting on him today, but I'm not going to nominate him because I'm avoiding self nominators. I presume you're trying to link DeadCeleb's post. I didn't target Rayelek. Do with that as you will, but that's not a lie so not a case of Lynch all Liars. I targeted you to see if I could find something damning so I could produce some evidence while poking the bear. I didn't, which was honestly disappointing. It would have been nice to find a scummy with my first post. Are we headed towards a Thunderdome? DeadCeleb, what is your response to eayragt's denial? cappyboy Posted May 30, 2019 Share Posted May 30, 2019 Okay. Read up and taken my wellness check from IER. Can't really add to the night phase breakdowns much. People have pretty well covered that but one thing does stand out to me. Zergon mentioning how he tells to be more wrong than right in his line by line anaylsis and get us sharing gut reactions. I don't know if that's a positive or not but I will note many of my biggest mistakes, both in game and out, come from not trusting my instincts. I find the Eayragt wagon interesting. Not sure how much stock I place in it yet but certainly willing to consider it since we have a standard lynch protocol rather than a plurality this phase. One of many things I need to sort out in my head. I also don't want to get ahead of myself in the Eayragt case because we still have a third council member to find. I know it can't be me.
