In a mountain cave, a mind wanders.

"Death and destruction are coming...I will have my revenge on those 'adventurers' and that whole vile town."

============================

Deep in the forest, a monstrous creature snarls as it fades to sleep. Soon everything it wanted would be his.

============================

In a dark back room of the tavern, a small group meets. Their conversation is in hushed tones, and there is no drink in front of them. Suddenly light shines into the dimly lit room as a door to the main hall opens. A man pokes his head in.

"Excuse me, is someone in here?

A dark blast eminates from the table, from who it isn't clear. It strikes the unfortunate man in the chest, and he falls to the ground. A trap door is opened beneath the table and the room rapidly empties.

Rayelek is dead. He was Mac Donald, Ellin's Grove Aligned Farmer.

Cause either the cult is the scum team or the monsters are.

I guess it could be that way but I´d figure there´s three threads and that DJ was the "wandering mind in mountain cave" and that he likely didn´t have kills but was cult that recruits via resurrection.

Do you believe he was part of the small group and potentially the guy with "dark blast" then?

I'm only going by color of alignments here but, but I'm guessing we have another bad team.

So with that the question goes...How many started cult with DJ?

My guess is just him at the start (assuming he´s the wandering mind like I think he was).

Really? Wouldn't be the first time town killed town in a night phase and went oops after.

And I'll tell you directly that I didn't kill anyone. I do something else, that I'm still figuring out how to turn to town's advantage without outing myself.

Plus DeadCeleb was town vig, so your theory would mean there´s two vig's. Which isn't impossible by any means but I find it slighly unlikely considering the amound of players in this game.

This. Also...brother, that ain't the apostrophe. Unless your language doesn't have such a thing and you're just doing your best.

Who do you primarily fight in DnD? In Fantasy settings in general?

Monsters

My previous count of 6/7 was deemed a little high so to support a cult (DJ and possibly Leion and probably a leader unless that was DJ) plus 2/3 monsters AND an actual scum team my count would be low.

Monsters or Cult are the scum team.

A few are noticeably absent from the tragic scene elsewhere in town. In a home, a man lies peacefully in his bed, a magical slumber providing pleasant dreams. It makes it much easier for the hooded man to simply walk in, and blast him with a burst of dark energy, bringing the man's life to an end.

A hooded man walks through town, stopping outside an ornate building. Opposite him stands a man clad in full plate armor, a sword radiant in his hand. A burst of dark energy flies from the hooded man's finger, but it deflects off of a shield. The armored man is ready for this fight. In no time at all, the glowing sword slides through the robes and slices the hooded man in twain. With his death, dark energy swirls around the fallen man, before blasting off in all directions, striking the man who struck him down, shattering the radiant armor and, in great tragedy, taking the man's life with him.

Alright, so forget what I just said about DJ being the wandering mind in the cave. I re-read the write-ups to check things after arguing with Hellshock and looks like I was way too hasty to make the connection I made. Hooded man with burst of dark energy fits the killer on night 0 and night 1 so Hellshock is likely right that cult (or monsters but my money is on cult at least until someone proves me wrong again) is the main scum team and that DJ was part of the scum team and not third party. Which changes few things...

Nope, finnish doesn´t have apostrophes so it´s somewhat of a guess work for me on when to use them. That said, I am making typing mistakes left and right all the time anyway so it´s not that big of a surprise that I can´t form sentences that make sense. :D

I need to go to bed now, will try to check this again in the morning.

I do think Leion is the way to go but won´t put my vote in just yet in order to give everyone time to put their opinions and potential information out before the phase ends.

I was strongly considering over time that one of the monsters could be a red herring. So far we've had one dragon wreak havoc on the town, yeah? Unless I missed a part, I wouldn't put that out of the question just yet.

What DJ came up as is rather interesting, has opened a few doors for us to consider down the stretch. I'd say the Leion theory is a fair assessment so far. Gonna be more on later tonight once I have access to a computer, will drop a vote for now.

Vote: Leion

Is it possible Dj started with maybe 1 ally (an apprentice?) and was able to get a second via a resurrection, does that fit with the set up? Could be good to nail down the probable size of the cult.

Or is the cult the scum group that started a man light and were able to bring another back to life to ally with them?
