Opted to start with January 2001, since Bischoff was in the process of trying to purchase for a few months. I think the Big Bang PPV scheduled in May was a result of what WCW was turning into. With this alternate timeline, WCW may or may not have that event. Regarding the negotiation, I wanted a financial challenge also, so lowering his negotiation skills down help.

Lex quickly made that money back, though. He didn't leave WCW with that entry contract.

I'm liking the self-imposed background changes. Having Bagwell, Flair, Goldberg, Luger, Mysterio, Nash, Page, Steiner and Sting locked down will be a big help.

That said, Levinux might want to edit those contract end dates by this actual official registry of contracts from some old WCW lawsuits.

I've seen similar information floating around. With the storyline of contracts expiring in 28 days at the beginning, it'll void most of the real world info. I will, however, be updating the AOL/Time Warner contracts with your info, so I appreciate that.

Nitro went as well as it could have last night. A big part of me wants to jump right in and change everything, but that's not the best idea right now. WCW is fragile and I can't make too many jolting moves. I have to be strategic. My partners know that, and more importantly, the guys in the back know that.

This morning, I was flooded with texts from a few guys who let me know WWF has reached out to them. I knew it was going to be tough, but less than 48 hours tough? A bit more than I expected. The one that sticks out is Booker T, who called me directly. He's interested in staying, but he has his concerns. Why wouldn't he? Hell, I have my own concerns. I'll get back to him after our Thunder and WorldWide taping. Right now, I need to just close my eyes for five minutes.
