When I created WEXXV a decade ago, things were very, very different. Burning Hammer were reigning supreme and PGHW weren't far behind. We wanted to introduce something different to the Japanese wrestling world, a more hardcore product.

 

We wanted to be different and innovative in a world where innovation and changing with the times is key, SWF did it when DAVE showed promise, and we decided to set the trend.

 

Over the last decade, we have been the innovative force in Japanese wrestling, we brought the hard hitting style back, we headed the Modern Japan Movement, we brought in new and interesting gaijins to the Japanese public, WEXXV is the most innovative company in the world, but things change.

 

In 2016, hardcore wrestling isn't the draw it was. Although, hardcore wrestling still draws a crowd and is still popular in circles, knowledge of what wrestling and specifically what hardcore wrestling does to the human body has made things a lot more difficult. The mainstream audience shun us because of what our guys do, and that is what we have to live with.

 

But we'll adapt we always do, whatever trend is coming up, we'll see it and create before anybody else see's it coming, we have to, we have to survive WEXXV will always be on the brink but we'll survive, we always do and we'll never change our core, we'll never change what made WEXXV and even after I pass, even after I go, I can promise you this...
