GOAL To create our own wrestling universe, created by members of the GDS/TEW community working together...or perhaps against each other. But instead of the usual companies run by a single person, the idea is to have teams of three or more people per company each with their own role, working together. I mean, come on. MOD Montreal Aftermath by The Mod Squad COMPANIES WWF, WCW, ECW, NJPW POSITIONS Creative Consultant - This is the person in charge of coming up with ideas for storylines. He may help with writing up the shows if he so wishes but doesn’t have to. This position is ideal for people who want to participate but don’t have a lot of free time Head Booker and writer - This guy is the top dog, head honcho, big kahuna and any other names you can think of. The Head Booker has final say in what goes on in terms of booking the shows, who to push etc but you all know that. The booker will also be the one that handles the file and books the shows so this role is (obviously) the most important in the entire game. Now they also write the shows due to the fact in previous attempts not getting writers slowed the process down. Writer/Creative Team Member- As the name implies helps write the shows and contributes to writing angles and matches. Rules 1. Certain promotions may or may not be allowed to be playable depending on what mod is being used. A lot of the problems with previous attempts rose from power struggles within the bigger companies BEFORE the game had even started. 2. I (Warhawk8492) will be running this community dynasty. I enforce the rules, solve disputes and handle any other duties that are needed. I will also be lightly advising each team, I am doing this to test concepts for a later project. I promise here on record that I will no leak details to any team. I will also issue optional fun challenges to teams. 3. Like the last time, head booker will not be decided on a first come, first serve basis. People who want to be the booker of their respective companies will apply to me via PM, and I will ask a couple of questions to decide who I feel will do the best job in the position, not so much from a creative standpoint (though that will contribute somewhat) but more from an activity standpoint. In saying that, the other positions will be first come, first serve. Although there is no limit on the number of creative members/writers and creative consultants a team can have. 4. Head Bookers will need to make their email addresses available to me as the file will be transferred between teams via DropBox. The Head Booker will make a password to prevent shenanigans from other teams and they will let me know their passwords in case I need to speed things up. 5. Speaking of speeding things up, one of the main problems with the previous games was certain bookers taking WAAAAAAAAAAY too long to book a single show, making other teams lose interest really quick. Because I will know each teams password, there will be a limit of three days to take a turn. If three days has passed and no turn has been taken, I will step in and sim to the next persons turn. If you have a show that needs to be booked, too bad! I will autobook it by using the assistant booker. I wont care about angles, storylines etc so it will be most beneficial that bookers get their turns done in time. 6. When you have finished your turn and put the file back into the Dropbox folder, you need to PM myself and the Booker whose turn it is after yours just to ensure the game is kept moving along nicely 7. When there is a turn with no show, I will sim through and will only stop if there are decisions to be made. Then the three day rule will apply. If a booker feels like he will not be able to make it within the three days, he may either ask me to take the turn, giving me instructions on what to book, or he may share the file with a teammate but NOT the password. The booker (or myself) will download the file then send it to the person who will be taking the turn in place of the booker. 8. If a bookers turn needs to be skipped without reason (if you have a legit reason and let me know you will be fine) twice, you will be replaced as booker. NO EXCEPTIONS! 9. Anybody wanting to participate in this game needs to officially sign up through the thread. Asking for outside advice or opinions is fine but for actual participation, registration is required. 10. This has caused problems in the past. 11. If a company goes bankrupt, you will be able to choose a new company only once. If you manage to make multiple companies go bankrupt, you’re doing something wrong. 12. While Head Bookers have final say they must consult with their team before making any big decisions; therefore I am making it a rule. A Head Booker has final say over any in-game rulings but he must consult his team before making any major decisions (cuts, product changes etc). Again this has caused problems in the past and needs to be avoided. FAQ Q: Can i change the roles of my own workers? (Those already signed with my promotion when the game starts?) A: Sure. As the booker, it is your job to decide what roles each person within your company suits best. Q: Can human workers (us) be fired or hired by other promotions? A: While the booker makes all of the decisions of workers within the company in-game, they do not have the authority to fire any team members. If you have legit beef with someone and believe they deserve to be fired, then PM me and I will look into it. But don’t come to me with “Waaaah, he won’t push wrester x to be World Champ” or something along those lines. The reason has to be a proper reason for me to even consider looking into it. Q: Can we offer relationships (war, working agreement etc) to other companies, human or AI? A: Hell yeah, you can! In fact, I encourage it. You wanna declare war on another company on day one? Be my guest! Q: I’m not interested in any of the companies on offer. Can I be “random company X” instead? A: If there is enough interest in another company . I will consider it. Again this varies on what mod is chosen. Theheel Posted December 18, 2019 Share Posted December 18, 2019 Looks very interesting and I’ll be most curious to see how WCW goes forward since the NWO had become a cluster at this point and how they badly botched Bret Hart upon arrival. There is a lot to try and change here that could have kept WCW stronger than it ended.
