Great show! I enjoy the commentary team conversations you've added. I can read them in their voices, which makes it that much more fun, especially Heenan. I also like the abrupt end to Schiavone trying to end the show.

 

Thanks man. I'm hoping they sound authentic. Schiavone getting cut off at the end happened enough times in the real WCW for it to become a running joke so I'm considering something similar here.

Really enjoying this so far, the commentators definitely feel authentic, as does everyone for that matter. I like how there's clearly a long way back and I'm looking forward to how it goes. Looks like a good challenge.

 

Thanks man. I get cocky when I see I’m doing ok with the networks and then WWF slaps me back down again when they’re pulling about ten times what I’m doing. :D It will definitely be a challenge.

I like the idea of trying to run a promotion like WCW on the few who didn't bail to WWF. Will be interesting to see what new acquisitions are made.

 

Ha, yeah I like Douglas. He was fun in ECW and early WCW. Less said about XPW the better.

 

Yeah, that's the challenge. They need a rebuild. Trying to do it without spending too much is keeping it interesting for me. :D

Big Raven fan. I like where this is going. He was contracted to WWE around this time. They used him terribly but he had some fun momemts, such as that Triple Threat with Kane and The Big Show, and how he turned the Royal Rumble all Hardcore that year. Did WWE release him in your game or something? Will be interesting to see if he gathers a Flock like in his other WCW stint.

Yeah Raven in WWE was crushing. They gave him nothing. His hardcore bout with Rhyno (at... Backlash?) was standout on the card for me but they literally did nothing with him afterwards.

 

I made a few alterations before I started the game in order to tell the story I want to tell. This was one.

There are quite a few of the PPV bouts that I'm looking forward to namely the title match, Jake Roberts (can he still go?) and the tag tournament final.

Nice to see Styles debut too. It will also be interesting to see if there are any surprises or debuts come PPV time (or if the viewers will get to see the finale before the PPV time cuts off).

My thought also, especially since this is after his Botchamania famous "Wanna play 21?" promo, which may have been rock bottom for Jake.
