</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Hello everyone and welcome to another exciting, thrill packed episode of Wrestling Spotlight right here on WrestleWorld. Tonight, we presented the final two rounds of the sixth annual March Madness tournament. We will start with the Final Four. In our first Final Four match up, The Manifesto takes on The Dynamite Express. Then we will see the Roughhouse Riders take on The Ring Generals. The winners of those two matches will meet in our main event tonight with the trophy and a Tag Team Title shot on the line. All of that is tonight and joining me in calling all of the action is my broadcast partner, Grace Harper.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”What a great night tonight is going to be. The past three weeks have all led up to this. We started with sixteen teams and we will end tonight with one team standing. This is pro wrestling at its finest. Win and get rewarded. Lose and go home. This is what we live for in this sport and tonight someone is going to get the trophies, the cash prize at the pay window, and a tag title shot. What could be more exciting?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “I don’t know. I can’t think of anything!”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”I can’t either. I’ve got goosebumps just thinking about all of the action we are in store for.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Before we get to our first match, Taylor Gordy is standing by with Bred for Battle.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><img alt="05TFh3q.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/05TFh3q.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

We cut over to the interview podium where Taylor Gordy is standing with the two monsters that make up Bred for Battle and their mouthpiece, Andrew Gibson. These three have been a constant team in HPW since the inception of the organization.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><img alt="TiIkT9w.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/TiIkT9w.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="qYmW8S4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qYmW8S4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="h7OAb9p.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/h7OAb9p.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="24CK4Wp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/24CK4Wp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “I’m joined now by one of the most dominant tag teams in all of professional wrestling. Bred for Battle. Now Mr. Gibson, I was told you had a specific reason for wanting time out here tonight?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gibson</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “You were told correctly. This is not a complicated issue. It’s very simple. These big men. These monsters. These two men who were genetically engineered for this sport, bred for the wars of the ring, they want the World Tag Team Titles. They’ve been there before and they were dominant when they were. Now they want to get back there and Grappling. Winks. There’s a big show coming up in May just before the Indianapolis 500. You may be familiar with it. The Circle City Classic. The sixth annual installment. And my men, these monsters, they want you in the ring. They want the World Tag Team Titles on the line and if you’ve got any sense in you at all, you’ll just give the World belts to them because otherwise you’re putting your careers in their hands. I don’t think you’ve got sense though. I think you’re going to accept the challenge and you’ll step into the ring with these two monsters and you’ll find yourself broken and in a hospital bed. We await your decision.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Andrew Gibson leads Bred for Battle off screen and Taylor Gordy turns back towards the camera.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “A big challenge from Bred for Battle tonight. We’ll have to find out if Mr. Grappling and Sandman Winks are going to accept. Back to you, Marv and Grace.” </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “A big challenge is right. I’d pay good money to see that match.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”Well luckily, if Mr. Grappling and Sandman Winks accept the challenge, you won’t have to pay. You’ll be ringside for it!”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “That is very true and I’m lucky for that. Up next, though, we have our first match of the night. The first of two Final Four matches. The Manifesto take on The Dynamite Express.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”This is a big opportunity for The Manifesto. They’ve won two matches to get here. They’ve beaten Death Row and Rich & Famous to get to this match with the former two-time HPW Tag Team Champions. This is probably the biggest match of The Manifesto’s career. A win here and they’ve not only beaten former champions, they’ve beaten one of the best tag teams in the sport and punched their ticket to the finals. On the flip side, The Dynamite Express want to get the Tag Titles back. They’ve been the top team here. Twice they’ve held those titles. They have more defenses on their two reigns than any time in history. A win here puts them in the finals and puts them one step closer to getting those titles back.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

The Manifesto versus The Dynamite Express</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

The opening match of the Final Four had an important role. It had to set the pace for the show. It had to let people know what they were in store for on tonight’s episode. The crowd was excited for the Final Four and they were very vocal during the match. The Manifesto have been doing a good job of getting themselves over as big, athletic babyfaces with a legitimate pedigree they could rely on and their opponents, The Dynamite Express, were workhorse heels. They could just flat out wrestle and that’s what they did here. The Manifesto controlled the early onset of the match with their power -- Jamar Lennon, the former defensive end for the Longhorns, tossed Collier and Jones around with big suplexes and throws before tagging in the bigger Bobby Marks who did the same thing -- except his suplexes were even more impressive. He tossed Jones over his head without even bending. Lennon came back in and The Dynamite Express resorted to eyerakes and an illegal double team to seize control of the match -- and then they didn’t let go. They were all over Jamar Lennon. They focused on his knee -- both trying to set him up for their </span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><em>Chop and Charge</em></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> but also trying to just keep the powerful man grounded. At one point, Jones had a kneebar locked in and he reached up to tag Collier, who slingshotted himself into the ring and landed back first on the prone knee of Lennon. Lennon sold wonderfully. For a man with his size, he sold without looking smaller. As the Express took his leg out, he kept trying to get back to his feet and fight them one-legged. He had some success, but he couldn’t get to Bobby Marks to make the tag. The Express kept finding ways to prevent the tag from happening. They distracted official Andre Lane, they illegally entered the ring to pull Lennon back, and at one point even Syd Collier came from underneath the ring and yanked Bobby Marks off the apron just before Jamar Lennon could make the tag. Jones hit a low dropkick into the knee of Jamar Lennon and made the tag to Syd Collier. Collier came in and grabbed referee Andre Lane’s attention while Cam Jones snuck around to where Bobby Marks was getting back to his feet. Jones reached into his tights and pulled out something that he used to punch Marks in the face and drop the big man. Jones quickly made his way to his corner while Collier locked in the Texas Cloverleaf. Collier wrenched on the knee and the lower back and Lennon was in the middle of the ring with no partner to save him. He tried to crawl to the ropes but Cam Jones met him there and kicked his hand from the ropes and kicked him in the face -- which got him an adonishment from Andre Lane but allowed Syd Collier to drag Lennon back to the center of the ring. With nowhere to go and no reprieve, Jamar Lennon was forced to submit.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

In a bout that had great heat and good wrestling, The Dynamite Express defeated The Manifesto in 12:12 when Syd Collier submitted Jamar Lennon with a Texas Cloverleaf after blatantly cheating. This match was part of the 'March Madness VI' tournament. </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “The Dynamite Express is on their way to the finals of the March Madness tournament! A great win for them in a great match. Jamar Lennon had no choice but to submit there. He was trapped in No Man’s Land and anything else could have risked permanent career injury.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”There’s no shame in submitting in this sport. Sometimes you get caught and Jamar Lennon was trapped in the center of the ring and Bobby Marks was laid out and it was either submit or risk his knee being ripped to shreds and his lower back having such damage that he would have to get surgery. He made the right decision.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “I agree with you and before we get to the Roughhouse Riders and The Ring Generals, Nate DeMarcus and Warwick Good are standing by with Taylor Gordy.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

We cut over to Taylor Gordy. Nate DeMarcus does not look like a happy man. Warwick Good also looks unhappy, but not as frustrated as Nate DeMarcus does.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “I’m joined now by Nate DeMarcus and Warwick Good. Gentlemen, you were upset in the first round by The Wolf Pack. You’ve been on a losing streak as a team and you’ve yet to get retribution against Bred for Battle -- who challenged Mr. Grappling and Sandman Winks for the World Tag Team Titles earlier tonight. What’s next for you two?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>DeMarcus</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “You’re right. We have been on a slump. We haven’t been able to get it done. We’ve come out here and we’ve made promises. We’ve sworn that we would get retribution. Yet we haven’t. Instead, we got knocked out of the March Madness tournament in the first round. We should be wrestling tonight but we aren’t and that pisses me off. It should be us tonight but we’re watching on the sidelines as four great teams put it on the line to raise trophies and earn a Tag Team Title shot that me and Warwick haven’t earned. We haven’t. But what we do have is a match in two weeks. Just signed five minutes ago by the HPW matchmaking committee. Rick Sanders just let us know. In two weeks, right here on Wrestling Spotlight, we’re going to get Bred for Battle. We’re going to get our chance at retribution. And they have to beat us to get to the World Tag Team Titles. That’s what we were told. They have to beat us to get the title shot they want and we have to beat them to get peace. To get revenge for what they did to US Patriot.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Good</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “People call me a bad man, Taylor. That’s what they say. That Warwick Good is a bad man. They mean tough. I’m from Montana. Where you only survive if you’re strong enough. Nate DeMarcus is a bad man. He’s survived and thrived in this sport. Twice he’s been Mid American Champion. We’re some bad men and in two weeks, against Bred for Battle on Wrestling Spotlight, we’re going to dig down deep and we’re going to be those bad men that we haven’t shown in a little while. I promised Nate DeMarcus that we would get retribution for what Bred for Battle did last summer. And I’m going to keep my promise.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Nate DeMarcus and Warwick Good walked off.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “We know our main event for two weeks from now. Nate DeMarcus and Warwick Good will challenge Bred for Battle.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”That will be a hell of a main event in two weeks. It’s time for both teams to get some resolution and to be able to move on to what’s next in their careers.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Speaking of what’s next, Grace, up next we have our second of the two Final Four matches. We already know The Dynamite Express are awaiting the winners of the following contest. Who will they be facing? Will it be the young team of the Roughhouse Riders or will the experienced Ring Generals find another way to win and meet The Dynamite Express in our main event tonight?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”It really is a toss up, Marv. On paper, the experience of The Ring Generals should make them the favorites. They’ve been teaming for two decades. They’ve won championships everywhere they have gone. They have Lucinda Lush in their corner. They’re an excellent team and the money SHOULD be on them; however, the Roughhouse Riders have been on a roll. The two graduates of the No Ordinary Men Academy of Pro Wrestling are big and powerful and highly motivated. While they are not the most polished of wrestlers, everything they do hurts. They punish opponents with their ultra physical style. Both of them are three hundred or more pounds. They trained to be wrestlers together. They have been around each other their whole careers. This could be their moment.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Roughhouse Riders versus The Ring Generals w/ Lucinda Lush</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

The second Final Four match presented a different kind of match than the first. While the first match had the Manifesto coming out of the gate strong and the Dynamite Express having to seize control, this did the opposite. Statler and Waldorf came out of the gate in control. There was no opening shine -- they jumped big Jimmy Dillon right at the start. Dillon, the lesser experienced of the Roughhouse Riders, was caught off guard by the quick tags and the grappling offense of the Generals. Statler and Waldorf did not go for strikes -- they went for holds that allowed them to bring Dillon down and make tags in and out. They were focused on the neck -- trying to soften him up for their patented Wheelbarrow Bomb that they have used to win a dozen titles together. Dillon; however, started to make a big comeback and he made the tag to Victor Crash who continued the comeback. Crash came in with clotheslines and shoulder tackles and big vertical suplexes and had fire. He’s been the standout guy from the first three draft classes of HPW’s school -- he might be the one destined for stardom . Crash hit a few headbuts and then a couple of backbreakers. It was all Roughhouse Riders when Crash made the tag back to Dillon and the two men launched Statler off into the ropes. Waldorf made the blind tag and Statler managed to baseball slide underneath the two Roughhouse Riders. Crash turned around and Statler kneed him in the gut and tossed him to the outside. The Ring Generals quickly hit Jimmy Dillon with the Wheelbarrow Bomb and they are into the finals!</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, The Ring Generals defeated Roughhouse Riders in 9:39 when Dean Waldorf pinned Jimmy Dillon with a Wheelbarrow Bomb. This match was part of the 'March Madness VI' tournament. </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

They really stepped their game up and if things had broken a little bit one way or the other either of them could be in our main event tonight.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Before we get to our main event, we have a video package and we’ll hear from The Texas Express. Let’s go to the video package about Zap!”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

We cut to the same video package that has been airing the last several weeks.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

A video package rolls showing a muscular blonde man with facepaint. All of the footage is him in training matches -- nothing from his career so far. HPW couldn’t get the footage frm his actual career. In the footage, he hits a flying splash, He hits a big High Knee, a Press Powerslam, and locks in the Torture Rack. The video is interspliced with still pictures from wrestling magazines (all properly credited) that show matches from RIPW, one of the stills is from the win of the RIPW Tag Team Titles and th other from winning the RIPW USA Championship. The video ends with superimposed text saying: </span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>ZAP! COMING NEXT WEEK!</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “You saw it there. Next week, Zap will be making his in ring debut in HPW.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”You won’t want to miss it, folks. </span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “He certainly could be and now we go to Taylor Gordy who is standing by with The Texas Express.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

We cut to Taylor Gordy who is, in fact, standing with the reigning HPW Tag Team Champions, The Texas Express.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “I’m joined at this time by the reigning and defending HPW Tag Team Champions, Cooper Christie and Turk Trenneman -- the Texas Express! Gentlemen, in just a few moments we will see the finals of the sixth annual March Madness tournament take place. The Ring Generals will take on The Dynamite Express. The winners will not only get the trophies and the cash prize, but will get a guaranteed Tag Team Title shot at Circle City Classic VI in May. What are your thoughts on the tournament?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Christie</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “It’s really been a great tournament hasn’t it?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “It has been.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Christie</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “It really has. It started with sixteen teams and we’re down to two. Man, I love March Madness. We’ve gotten so many great tag team matches and now we’ve got two teams that Turk and I know real well left. We’ve wrestled both of these teams and we know how good they are and man, we’re excited to see them wrestle tonight.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Trenneman</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “I’m pretty sure it’s the first time they’ve ever wrestled, Taylor. Can you believe that? Two teams as accomplished as they are wrestling for the first time EVER tonight? That’s exciting stuff. That’s main event stuff and me and Coop are going to be glued to the monitors backstage to watch it, you better believe it.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Christie</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “We’re also looking forward to facing the winners, but we’re also not looking past next week.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “What’s next week?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “No I haven’t.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Trenneman</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Well next week, right here on Wrestling Spotlight, we are defending the HPW Tag Team Titles.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Against who?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Christie</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “A reuniting Los Enfernos.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Gordy stares at the two men.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Are you telling me that the former three time EILL Tag Team Champions and two-time EILL Trios Champions are coming here to HPW?”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Christie</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “At least for a night. I can’t say what their plans are if they don’t beat us, but they’ll be here next week to challenge me and Turk for the HPW Tag Team Titles.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “That’s incredible news!”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Trenneman</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Well we’re happy we could break it here, but we’re ready to see the March Madness Tournament Finals. We’re excited to see The Ring Generals and the Dynamite Express lock horns.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Cooper and Turk flash a big, white meat babyface smile and walk away as Taylor Gordy turns back to the camera.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Gordy</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “What a match we will have next week right here on Wrestling Spotlight! Back to you, Marv and Grace.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “That is a huge match up. We have several big weeks coming up here on Wrestling Spotlight. We know next week we will see the in-ring debut of Zap. We also know now that Los Enfernos will be here to challenge The Texas Express for the HPW Tag Team Titles.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”Los Enfernos are one of the most terrifying tag teams I’ve ever seen. They had a reign of terror in lucha libre that had the whole lucha world captivated. A match up with The Texas Express will be huge.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#FFFF00;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “Plus in two weeks, we know we will see Bred for Battle take on Nate DeMarcus and Warwick Good. So much is coming up on Wrestling Spotlight, but we’re not done tonight. We still have our main event of the evening. The match can go as long as we have satellite time folks. This one is going to be a big one. For the first time EVER in their careers, the Dynamite Express and The Ring Generals will stand across the ring from each other and do battle.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="color:#800080;"><strong>Harper</strong></span></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, ”I don’t like the term dream match, Marv. I think it’s overrated, but this is a match I never thought I’d see. The two best teams in pro wrestling in the best decade. Both of them have survived three previous matches including a match tonight. They’ve each held over ten titles as a tag team. The Ring Generals have held twelve, The Dynamite Express eleven. They are almost even on accomplishments. Both have won a major tag team tournament in the past with The Ring Generals having won the PGHW Elite Series Tag Tournament and The Dynamite Express having won CWA’s Tag Team Grand Prix. The Ring Generals have twice been COTT World Tag Team Champions -- The Dynamite Express have never held the World Tag Team Titles. The Dynamite Express have twice been the HPW Tag Team Champions, the Ring Generals have never held the HPW Tag Team titles. On paper, this is an even match up. Both teams are similar in size. The Ring Generals have been wrestling for five more years as a team than the Dynamite Express, but each team has logged at least a decade and a half as a team. The Ring Generals like to focus on the neck. The Dynamite Express like to focus on the knees. This is an incredible opportunity we have tonight to witness what could be a classic tag team contest.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

</span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><strong>Earnest</strong></span><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">, “And you add in the stakes, Grace. The winner wins the sixth annual March Madness tournament. They also get a guaranteed opportunity at Circle City Classic in May to compete for the Tag Team Titles. This isn’t just an exhibition. This is a match that means something and you know both teams are going to be on their A Game.”</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

The Dynamite Express versus The Ring Generals w/ Lucinda Lush</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

The one hundred eleven people paid in attendance (there were another 39 people in the crowd, but they didn’t pay so they don’t count towards total attendance) were ready for this match. The finals of the March Madness Tournament. Both teams came to the ring looking like teams that had been to war -- as both teams had. Both teams had to win three matches to get here. The Dynamite Express defeated MacDonald & St. Pierre, Thunder & Lightning, and the Manifesto to get into this match. The Ring Generals had defeated Axxis Jr. & Phoenix IV, The Rock City Stars, and the Roughhouse Riders. Both teams had to work different styles of matches. Both had to beat experienced teams and big powerhouse teams. The two most experienced teams in the tournament. The two top working teams in the sport. First time ever. </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

The match started with the showcase of the trophies -- the prize for the whole thing. Jones and Waldorf started off. They took their time building up to the first lock up, but that first lockup was electric. They dug their feet into the mat and we were off to the races. This was a textbook example of how to do a back and forth tag team contest. Each team controlled the match for short stretches. Each team tried to cut the ring off, but each team was too experienced to let that happen. It was a chess match in the ring. Ground gained and lost. The knee targeted by the Dynamite Express, the neck by the Ring Generals. Both teams making quick tags to keep the fresh man in and neither team is willing to try anything too risky for fear that they could make a mistake that the other could capitalize on.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Both teams utilized double team maneuvers. Both teams went deep into their arsenal in an attempt to win the tournament. There were lots of attempted falls in the contest with each team finding a way to kick out. Despite both teams being natural rule breakers, they seemed to follow the rules in this contest. This was a battle for respect in addition to all of the other aforementioned prizes. Syd Collier hit a second rope knee trembler on Dean Waldorf. The knee trembler was the turning point in the match -- the pace picked up and we were off to the races with a more fast paced action with more spots. In the end, Lucinda Lush managed to cause enough of a distraction without really interfering for the Ring Generals to hit Syd Collier with the Wheelbarrow Bomb and The Ring Generals got the victory.</span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

In an exceptional match, The Ring Generals defeated The Dynamite Express in 14:09 when Marv Statler pinned Syd Collier with a Wheelbarrow Bomb. The Ring Generals win the March Madness. This match was part of the 'March Madness VI' tournament. </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;">

Dynamite Express pulling some solid ratings! With the end result there, I would think the Generals will go on to beat Texas Express for the titles but I am not too sure. It would be a crowning achievement for Texas Express to take down the Ring Generals and establish themselves as THE tag team in independent wrestling.

Earnest, “Hello everyone and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed episode of Wrestling Spotlight. Last week, we saw the culmination of the March Madness tournament with The Ring Generals out lasting fifteen other teams to raise the trophies and earn themselves an opportunity to challenge for the HPW Tag Team Titles at Circle City Classic VI. Tonight, those titles are on the line in our main event when The Texas Express defends against Los Enfernos, plus we see the in ring debut of Zap! Joining me in calling all of the action tonight is my broadcast colleague, Grace Harper.”

Harper, “It’s great to be here tonight back here on WrestleWorld for Wrestling Spotlight. Thursday Nights are my favorite night of the week and this is why! Last week we saw three great tag team matches and tonight we have several big matches. We also can’t forget that three weeks from tonight, right here on Wrestling Spotlight we will see the third annual Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup!”

Earnest, “I have it on good authority that tonight we will find out two of the four wrestlers who will be competing in that. We will also see the Roughhouse Riders back in action as they look to rebound from their loss in the Final Four last week. Gary Greer takes on Wolfie Tagg in singles action, and Tzilla takes on Chris Camelot. We are jampacked with action tonight and let’s not waste any time and go ringside for the introductions to our opening contest.”

Roughhouse Riders versus Jonah Pilgrim & Rob Reynolds

After losing last week to The Ring Generals in the semi finals of the March Madness tournament, the Roughhouse Riders came out with something to prove. This is fourth straight week with a match on television and the fans are really starting to get behind the two big bruising graduates of the No Ordinary Men Academy of Wrestling. Pilgrim, the former MAW grappler and Reynolds, the former FCW grappler, were both here looking to maybe impress and get some fulltime work. The match wasn’t great but was saved by the overness of the Roughhouse Riders. Pilgrim has really been letting himself go and injuries have slowed Rob Reynolds down. In the end, it was the Sit-Down Splash of Jimmy Dillon on Rob Reynolds that got the Roughhouse Riders the victory.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Roughhouse Riders defeated Jonah Pilgrim and Rob Reynolds in 9:04 when Jimmy Dillon pinned Rob Reynolds with a Sit-Down Splash.

Earnest, “The Roughhouse Riders have rebounded nicely from losing to The Ring Generals last week. They were able to outlast two more veterans of the sport and get the win tonight.”

Harper, “You could tell that they were incredibly motivated after coming up short against The Ring Generals. I still fully expect that by the end of the year the Roughhouse Riders will be champions here in HPW. I think that this is their year and that the loss last week is only going to make them better.”

Earnest, “We will have to find out. We have a very competitive tag team division here in Heartland Pro Wrestling, but I know that the Roughhouse Riders have their eyes set on the championship. Up next, we have a video package announcing the first entrant in the 2025 Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup. So let’s go to the video, please.”

vHq5Vkm.jpg

We get a video package next highlighting “Miracle” Mike Dalton. The undefeated youngster from Uttica, New York is shown winning the matches he has had so far in HPW with his Kimura as well as matches in various independents that HPW was able to get footage from. The voice over describes him as a rising technician star who is looking to use the Conner Threepwood Memorial to both pay his respects to the Hall of Famer but also to be a launching pad for his own career. The video ends with the text Mike Dalton, Entrant into the 2025 Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup.

Earnest, “Mike Dalton is a fitting first entrant in the tournament. He’s a rising star in the sport. He’s looked great in his early matches here in HPW. He’s the kind of kid Conner Threepwood would have loved to wrestle and he belongs in the tournament.”

Harper, “I couldn’t have said it better myself Marv.”

Earnest, “Thanks. Up next we have Gary Greer taking on Wolfie Tagg.”

Harper, “This is a battle of speed versus size. Greer is quick. The former Longhorns quarterback is light on his feet, he knows how to move around the ring. Wolfie on the other hand is big and bruising. He’s a punisher. There is also no love loss between either men. Gary Greer is responsible for Kalder Tagg being on the shelf. Gary Greer and The Manifesto want to be in a position to challenge for the World Six Man Titles that Wolfie Tagg is currently one third of. It should be a very interesting contest.”

Gary Greer versus Wolfie Tagg w/ Haley Buck

Wolfie came out of the gate the aggressor. The big man from Montana punished Greer for the bulk of the match. He used several side slams and body slams to try and wear down Greer. Wolfie hit an elbow drop and then a falling headbut for near falls but Greer found a way back to his feet. Greer’s comeback consisted of dropkicks and back elbows and the people really started to get behind him. He hit a flying spinning elbow kind of the thing and kipped up and people were really behind him. Wolfie cut off his comeback and looked like he wanted to hit a big Powerbomb on him, but Greer floated over into a modified sunset flip that got him a quick three count and a win over the bigger man.

In a decent match, Gary Greer defeated Wolfie Tagg in 6:06 by pinfall with a fast roll up.

Earnest, “Gary Greer manages to survive Wolfie Tagg tonight but the big man from Montana was vicious tonight. That was as good as I’ve seen Wolfie Tagg as a singles wrestler.”

Harper, “With his brother on the shelf, Wolfie has to come into his own as a wrestler and tonight he showed that could compete as a singles but Gary Greer was ready to counter and got the win and that could lead to a Six Man Title Match.”

Earnest, “Before we get to our next match, we will find out who the second entrant into the Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup is going to be.”

fkw2U5R.jpg

We cut to a video package announcing that “The Living Legend” Sean McFly will be competing for the cup. Highlights are shown of McFly over the years -- mostly through still photos with the credit properly shown -- though there is some stuff from HPW shown as well as some footage from NOTBPW that HPW was able to acquire (probably because of McFly’s role in the Stone Family). A lot of the footage showcased McFly locking in the Sharpshooter -- the submission hold he has used most frequently. The video footage ends with Sean McFly, entrant in the 2025 Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup.

Earnest, “What a huge announcement! The Living Legend himself is going to be in the Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup. Can the veteran dial back the hands of time for one night and win the Cup? We will find out in several weeks.”

Harper, “Mike Dalton and Sean McFly? These are two great entrants. The Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup is going to be excellent.”

Earnest, “It certainly looks that way. Up next, we see the in ring debut of Zap!”

Harper, “For the past month, we’ve heard that he’s coming Marv. Tonight he’s here. I can’t wait. I think Zap is going to be a BIG star here in HPW and in the COTT. Let’s see if he makes the impact that I think he will.”

Zap versus Brent Carpenter

The match is exactly what a debut for a guy hyped to be a big star should be. It was all a showcase of what Zap could do. He was all power and dominance. He tossed the bigger Brent Carpenter around. He hit a big Stalling Suplex, a Military Press, and a Second Rope Shoulder Block. He then lifted Brent Carpenter up and put him in the Torture Rack. Carpenter quickly surrendered and Brent Carpenter had a victory in his first outing.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Zap Powerson defeated Brent Carpenter in 2:19 by submission with a Torture Rack.

Earnest, “A big win tonight for Zap. He looked incredible in his debut tonight. He controlled the entire match and if he can continue with that sort of dominance, he will be a guy that the whole company has to keep an eye on.”

Harper, “He debuted just how I thought he would. That’s a star right there, Marv. You saw him. Big time star delivering a big time performance tonight.”

Earnest, “Up next, let’s go to a video package for a match that will be happening on Wrestling Spotlight next week.”

We cut to a video hyping a ten women’s tag team match. The participants on one side will be Urena Frost, Morgan Stryker, Tzilla, and the Omega Chicks. The other side will be all three Hermanas de Pestilience, Talia Neema and Lucy Stone-McFly. Lots of championships are shown to get across the fact that these are ten accomplished women (in fact, only Tzilla hasn’t held a championship in her career). Footage from CILL, OLLIE, CWWF, and HPW is used to help get across all the skills of these ten women. The video ends with the text NEXT WEEK

Earnest, “You absolutely cannot and up next we will see one of the ten women that will be in action as Tzilla takes on British import Chris Camelot in singles action. Tzilla has been on quite the roll recently and looks to continue to build momentum tonight while Chris Camelot looks to establish her own name here in Heartland Pro Wrestling.

Tzilla versus Chris Camelot

This was not a great match. The two women just did not mesh. Tzilla has been turning into a fine worker with a load of charisma and the registered member of the Apache tribe has really learned to master her style. Chris Camelot attempted to work the traditional British technical style made famous in Wigan, but Tzilla didn’t let her get a consistent hold on her -- probably from the lack of chemistry. Just before the ten minute mark, Tzilla hit the End of the Trail and got the pinfall victory.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Tzilla defeated Chris Camelot in 9:52 by pinfall with an End Of The Trail.

Earnest, “Tzilla continues her run of wins. She’s got some of the best momentum in all of the women’s division and you know she’s got to be looking for a Women’s Championship opportunity.”

Harper, “And with all of the wins that she has been racking up you know she’s got to be in title contention.”

Earnest, “I’m sure the HPW matchmaking committee is keeping a close eye on her. Before we get to our main event, I’m told that Taylor Gordy is standing by with a breaking announcement.

We cut over to Taylor Gordy.

TiIkT9w.jpg

Gordy, “Please allow me to welcome at this time, legendary tag time… Elmo Benson and Greg Black… High Concept.”

jn1xjDL.jpgm1rksh2.jpg

The studio audience applauds hard as the former SWF World Tag Team Champions make their first appearance together as a team in a long, long time.

Gordy, “Let me be the first to ask you, why are you both here?”

Benson, “Well it’s really quite simple. We’re here for two things. The love of the sport and the World Tag Team Titles.”

Black, “That’s right. We love this sport. We’ve missed teaming and now we’re back together and the COTT have granted us a World Tag Team Title match. In two weeks, right here on Wrestling Spotlight, High Concept versus Mr. Grappling and Sandman Winks for the World Tag Team Titles and baby, it’s going to get crazy.”

Benson, “It’s going to get real crazy because we’re going to take it back, way back, to when the whole world was talking about me and Greggie here. We’re bringing it back like that old time rock n’ roll baby. We’re bringing it back like your favorite throwback jerseys and sneakers. We hope y’all are ready. Two weeks, baby.”

High Concept walk off.

Gordy, “Well there you have it. In two weeks, right here on Wrestling Spotlight, we will see High Concept challenge Mr. Grappling and Sandman Winks for the World Tag Team Titles. Back to you, Marv and Grace.”

Earnest, “Another must-see match up announced for an upcoming Wrestling Spotlight. The World Tag Team Titles will be on the line in two weeks when Mr. Grappling and Sandman Winks defend against High Concept. That’s going to be incredible.”

Harper, “It really is, Marv. High Concept hasn’t teamed in years. Will there be rust? Will they pick up where they left off?”

Earnest, “You’ll only be able to find out here on Wrestling Spotlight in two weeks, but we’re not done with tonight. We will have our main event coming up where the HPW Tag Team Champions, The Texas Express, defend their tag team titles against Los Enfermos.”

Harper, “It should be a really good match. You have a contrast of styles. Los Enfermos are lucha legends. They dominated EILL’s Tag and Trio division for years down in Mexico. They work that classic lucha style. They like to keep a fast pace and use the ropes. The Texas Express aren’t like that. They’re classic American style pro wrestlers. They’d have been successful in the Texas Wrestling League or Southern Class Championship Wrestling as well as modern pro wrestling. They’re just a good all around tag team. Both teams have championship success. This should be a very competitive match up.”

Los Enfermos versus The Texas Express

The crowd was excited to see Los Enfermos in action. The two men have not teamed together since they changed masks after their run ended. The two luchadores came out of the gate hot and they actually controlled most of the match. With it being a TV match, they skipped the opening shine and went right into the heat. Los Enfermos are not the exciting athletes they once were, but they are still athletic enough to put on a good match and pull off the majority of their spots. At one point, Mystery Man dropkicked Cooper Christie in the back and Christie fell onto the middle rope. The tag was made and Xtinction springboarded up into the ring and came across the back of Cooper Christie with both knees. Christie sold well. He made sure that Los Enfermos looked like real threats to the championship before he tagged in big Turk. Turk has really been developing into a great wrestler and he came in with fire. He hit a picture perfect dropkick that saw him get a lot of height on his vertical. He hit some back elbows, scoop slams and even locked in the Claw -- a move he hasn’t really done before -- on Xtinction. Xtinction sold it like his head was being squeezed so tightly his eyes might pop out of his mask but Mystery Man made the save with an Ace Crusher out of nowhere that bought Xtinction some time to recover. Xtinction went for a lionsault, but Turk got the knees up. He hit a brainbuster and made the tag to Cooper Christie who came off the top rope with his Top Rope Elbow Drop to get the pin and the successful defense.

In a bout that had fantastic heat and good wrestling, The Texas Express defeated Los Enfermos in 11:42 when Cooper Christie pinned Xtinction with a Top Rope Elbow Drop. The Texas Express make defence number two of the HPW Tag Team. In terms of in-ring work, Turk Trenneman was head and shoulders above everyone else.

Great to see the Ring Generals win - they’ve always been one of my favourites and were a class above here! I love tournaments, and you do them better than anyone. Congrats on another DOTM award and here’s to at least a few more!

Earnest, “Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill packed episode of Wrestling Spotlight right here on WrestleWorld. We’ve got a full lineup of action for you tonight, including a major main event as Nate DeMarcus and Warwick Good team up to take on Bred for Battle in a match that isn’t just about winning and losing and a trip to the pay window, but a match that is about vengeance, or justice, or retribution, depending on how you look at the situation. We have a big ten women's tag team match, Zap is in action plus so much more tonight. Joining me in calling all of the action tonight is my broadcast colleague Grace Harper.”

Harper, “It’s great to be back on WrestleWorld for our thirtieth installment of Wrestling Spotlight. Can you believe that Marv? Thirty episodes and going strong. Thirty episodes of great action and it continues tonight. I’m beyond excited. Our main event should be action packed and the whole show should be, really.”

Earnest, “And it all starts next with Wild Red Stallion who is standing by with Taylor Gordy.”

We cut to the interview podium where Taylor Gordy is standing with the six foot six inch member of the Lakota Nation.

TiIkT9w.jpgwCf7Az5.jpg

Gordy, “Stallion, we didn’t see you through most of March because of the March Madness tournament. With HPW firmly on the road to Circle City Classic VI, our biggest show of the calendar year -- what are your plans?”

Stallion, “That’s a great question, Taylor Gordy. A great question. To be honest, I’m not sure. There are many things I would like. A rematch with Bulldozer Brandon Smith. A match with Jack Jackson for the Heritage Championship. A match with a big time pro wrestling star. Something. I want a challenge and I want an opportunity. I came this close to defeating Bulldozer Brandon Smith and becoming Mid America Champion. I was knocking on the door of life changing success and I want to keep moving forward. I want the chance to prove that the name Wild Red Stallion deserves to be at the top of every marquee in this sport. So that’s what I’m asking HPW management and the COTT Board of Directors to do. Find me a big time, big level match. Either a championship match or a big level opponent. Give me something I can sink my teeth into at Circle City Classic and I promise that I’ll deliver something special.”

Wild Red Stallion walked off the set.

Gordy, “Wild Red Stallion wants something big at Circle City Classic VI. As soon as we know what big thing he’s going to get we will let you know. Back to you Marv and Grace.”

Earnest, “Wild Red Stallion definitely deserves a big time match up. He’s one of the HPW originals and he consistently delivers big time performances. He deserves a spotlight to be on him again at a big show.”

Harper, “I agree with you, Marv, and it’s good that he is coming out and asking for it. You’ve got to ask for what you want in this sport. Sometimes you have to demand it and that’s what he did tonight. He put it out in the universe.”

Earnest, “We will find out how management views his request. Right now, we’re going ringside for tag team action as The Hooligans take on Jessica Conroy and Kate Gillivan.”

The Hooligans versus Jessica Conroy & Kate Gillivan

The opening match was a women’s tag team match between The Hooligans and Conroy and Gillivan. Gillivan has been presenting her new persona -- an ultra serious wrestler who is trying to overcome the silliness of her initial gimmick. Conroy, also known as Lil’ Miss Marvel, has been trying to step her game up and break out of the middle of the pack. Conroy and Gillivan look like they could be a pretty good team with some more time and they got the win with Gillivan hitting the Cracked Mirror.

In a decent match, Jessica Conroy and Kate Gillivan defeated The Hooligans in 6:45 when Kate Gillivan pinned Hannah Hooligan with a Cracked Mirror. Kate Gillivan was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

Earnest, “Gillivan and Conroy looked very impressive as a team tonight. If they start teaming more regularly, we could have a very dangerous team on our hands.”

Harper, “It might be the thing both women need. Sometimes you have to change up your approach. If you’ve been a singles wrestler for most of your career and you haven’t hit the levels of success you want to hit, it might be time to mix it up and try something different. For Conroy and Gillivan, this tag team thing could be what they need.”

Earnest, “Both women are talented grapplers, so we will have to see how this partnership continues to blossom over the coming weeks. Up next, we find out who the third man to enter the Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup will be.”

We go to a video package over wrestler Tavon Blake Jr. We see a lot of highlights from him (none from his stint in GSW). We see him in MAW winning the MAW Tag Team Titles with Mutant. We see several defenses -- all with Tavon getting wins by submission. We see him COTT territory RMW, specifically him winning the RMW Heavyweight Title. We see several defenses of that championship and then we see him winning two different Rip Chord Invitational Tournaments. The video ends with The King of the Indies Tavon Blake Jr. is in the Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup.

Earnest, “Whoah I did not see that coming. Tavon Blake Jr, former RMW Heavyweight Champion, two time winner of the Rip Chord Invitational, the self proclaimed King of the Indies is coming to HPW for the Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup. That is huge.”

Harper, “You add him in with the Living Legend Sean McFly and the youngster Mike Dalton and we’ve got a great group forming.”

Earnest, “Next week we will find out the fourth and final entrant. Remember, the Conner Threepwood Memorial Cup is in two weeks and it will be right here on Wrestling Spotlight on WrestleWorld. Up next; though, we see Zap in his second match. Last week, he made short work of his opponent and won with the Torture Rack. This week he has experienced wrestler Rob Reynolds.”

Harper, “Rob Reynolds is an interesting opponent for Zap. Zap is incredibly strong and explosive. Rob, on the other hand, is a premier striker. A former competitive kickboxer, he might have the best kicks in wrestling. His striking and high impact offense could be exactly what is needed to derail the power and explosion of Zap. We will have to find out.”

Unfortunately for Rob Reynolds, his style was not enough to derail Zap. Reynolds came out trying to strike, but Zap was able to absorb all of the kicks like he was unphased. Zap walked through the kicks and launched his own offense. He hit several big hip tosses. He hit a stalling suplex and then a military press suplex that set up for the Torture Rack that got the submission and Zap’s second straight victory.

Earnest, “It really is. Up next, we are going to hear from the Cadillac Four.”

We cut over to the interview podium where Taylor Gordy is standing with the members of the Cadillac Four. We have the former two-time Mid America Champion Funky Fedora, the current Heritage Champion, Jack Jackson, and the number one contenders to the Tag Titles and March Madness winners, The Ring Generals. Along with their executive consultant, Lucinda Lush.

Gordy, “I’m joined tonight by the Cadillac Four. Gentlemen, all of you seem to have your hands full. Funky, you have a target on your back from Sean McFly. Jack, you’re the Heritage Champion and we know that Wild Red Stallion wants a shot at you, and Marv and Dean you have a date with The Texas Express for the Tag Team Titles. How are you all managing to stay focused?”

Lush, “I’ll tell you how these four elite athletes stay focused. They are professionals. This is what they do. They are the four best wrestlers on the planet. Funky Fedora is the greatest champion HPW has ever had. He’s been the measuring stick in HPW since he got here almost four years ago. The Ring Generals are the best tag team in wrestling in the last two decades. They’ve been champions everywhere they have gone. They are winners and at Circle City Classic VI, they’re going to show that once again when they win one more time and become HPW Tag Team Champions. Jack Jackson is the best young talent in wrestling. He’s already the Heritage Champion. The sky is the limit for him. He’s going to do nothing but win titles and accolades. You’re looking at the best collection of talent anywhere on the planet when you look at the Cadillac Four. That’s all you need to know. That’s all you need to focus on. That’s the only thing you need to be concerned about and anybody in the locker room who has a problem with these four men better understand that it’s a whole lot easier to jump on than it is to jump off.”

This had Stryker-LSM, Frost-Neema, Omega Chicks/HdP, and Tzilla stepping in to look like she and Muerte were going to be having a little issue. Ten women all with stories to tel land the match gave each a small platform to highlight before Urena Frost was able to hit her BattleCry on Senora Miseria and get the victory for the babyface quintet.

Gordy, “Two weeks ago, Bred for Battle issued a challenge for the World Tag Team Titles and last week, High Concept arrived and said that next week you will be defending the World Tag Team Titles against them. It seems like you two will be very busy in the coming weeks.”

Grappling, “We certainly will be, Taylor Gordy, and we love it. Sandman and I love the responsibility of being World Tag Team Champions. We love what that means. We love having to travel around the world and defend these championships. We love proving that we are the best tag team in all of wrestling -- in all of the world. We take pride in that. We take pride in representing Heartland Pro Wrestling and the Confederation of the Territories as World Tag Team Champions and next week we’re going to step into the ring with High Concept and should we beat them, we’ll happily defend against Bred for Battle.”

Winks, “That’s right baby. We absolutely will. We’ll let them all take a trip down to Muscle Mountain and they can meet the Mayor themselves. Nate DeMarcus & Warwick Good versus Bred for Battle w/ Andrew Gibson

The main event was very physical. This is a match that has been months in the making and the fans were really into this high level main event match. DeMarcus and Good didn’t seem like they were on the same page throughout the match -- they kept having communication errors and that is what allowed Bred for Battle to control the match and then hit their powerbomb/moonsault combo that they call Sins of Our Fathers where Diaz hits the Thunderous Powerbomb and Dreadnought comes off the top rope with a moonsault that a man his size shouldn’t be able to pull off.

In a bout that had fantastic heat and good wrestling, Bred for Battle defeated Nate DeMarcus and Warwick Good in 11:38 when Dreadnought pinned Warwick Good with a Sins of Our Fathers. Warwick Good was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance.

Nate DeMarcus and Warwick Good stand in the ring after their loss. Both men look frustrated. Warwick says something to Nate DeMarcus that looks like an apology, the camera can’t quite pick it up. Nate nods his head and turns away from Warwick. Warwick looks disappointed in himself as he heads to the ropes, but suddenly Nate DeMarcus turns around and blasts Warwick Good with a forearm to the side of the face. He whips Warwick into the opposite set of ropes and hits a Snap Tackle. He immediately pulled Warwick up by his long hair and lifts him high into the air in the suplex position and then brings him down with a hard slam, completing the Jackhammer. The crowd is in stunned silence as Nate stands over him.

Earnest, “Nate DeMarcus just assaulted his tag team partner. I can’t believe it. We’re all out of time tonight. You’ll have to join us next week right here on Wrestling Spotlight. For Grace Harper and everyone else here at HPW, I’m Marvin Earnest saying thank you for joining us and we can’t wait until next week.”
