<p>I hope that all of the issues that have been disgussed are fixed (save for the UI overhall that many are requesting).</p><p> </p><p>

I don't have an issue with the UI, except it would be nice to be able to toggle letter grades on and off. I've seen several YouTube streams, and that has been brought up several times.</p>

the ui interfeace is easy to use after a couple of hours of playing and downloading one of the already available skins helps massively. I dunno what people are complaining about 2020 is vastly superior to 2016 I have many many many hours in that game but looking forward to making the jump to the full release of 2020</p>

<p>I'm glad we got new members for the forum, get things going and stay fresh. I'm sad the game is getting postponed, I finally finished modding the 1980 data (after starting around 100 games and going back to edit). Oh well, I will play my two months then cruise back to TEW 16 to continue my 1987 - 2010 game.</p><p> </p><p>

As for the game, I'm satisfied with TEW 2020. The bugs are getting fixed, the interface while not great compared to previous games doesn't bother me in the slightest. I'm diggin' it</p>

<p>I'll wait to see what is done with the overhaul that he can do. I'm not a fan of the current UI but I'm more than willing to wait for skins/Adam's reworks to see if it makes it out to be any better. Its a beta and in the past Adam has made large fixes to accommodate things he personally didn't think were wrong.</p><p> </p><p>

The one thing I don't quite understand is that I agree about 80 percent of this board isn't a fan of the UI. So did the testing team say "bruh this UI isn't the best" and Adam said "meh I like it" was it worse than this and the testing team brought it to where it was or did the testing team say "looks great Adam". Or were the testing team not supposed to do anything but look for bugs and not comment on the overall look. </p><p> </p><p>

Either way I'm all for change but so far this UI is a regress from '16.</p>

One thing I find hilarious is the amount of "new member" accounts flooding in here to rip the game. I feel.like the established users, the people who frequently visit these forums and take part in this community are more satisfied.

 

I've bought most TEW games in the past, spending a lot of money in the process, and regularly browse these boards to keep up with happenings for the games. Somehow my opinion as a paying customer means less because I'm not the kind of person who posts online much?

Fair play to Adam, took criticisms on the chin, made a very tough call to knock the date back for release especially from a business aspect. His entire customer base are locked in their homes for a while and many will have bought on release day with this being a driving factor.

 

Taking a step back, receiving, acknowledging and reacting for the feedback he got, can't really argue with the decision he has made.

 

I'm gutted as I downloaded Kam's skin and haven't looked back, I've been enjoying the hell out of the game since.

Not at all what i was saying but I see where you got that. As I was scrolling through pages it seemed like the usernames I didn't recognize that said "New Member" were the overwhelmingly majority of the people shitting on the game. It seemed like the core audience of players who stan for TEW were not complaining. That could be wrong but it was just how I took it after a few pages.

I agree. Everyone should do themselves a favor and download this new skin. It was a dramatic shift for me.

This, the large majority hate this new interface and it’s embarrassing to imply that it’s a “vocal minority” rather than to accept a glaring flaw with an otherwise great game

He never said that none of the UI will be overhauled. He said that a COMPLETE overhaul will not be happening.
