What road agent notes are people using in their regular match ? After pulling a 71 out of Andrews vs Wolf, and anything not involving them or Chord/Bach scoring a low 60 at best, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong on that front.

Call in ring, slow build, winner, and decisive. I tend to just keep the match aim as regular aside from the required wild brawl and storytelling.

<p>I haven't been using anything fancy either, but I could have missed something. This 71 match out of Andrews/Wolf might be my fault though, maybe that 30 minute Iron Man set to Epic wasn't the greatest idea <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I'm also hit right now by production penalties thanks to SWF dropping in size and overwhelming my production, not the best situation considering the Economy is at 11 and still falling. Many factors that will probably lead me to not pushing this save further upon release.</p>

Wild brawl is pretty much the only match aim I've ever got to work well for me. I can never quite place the technical ones correctly on the card to maximize them, and epic or spectacle nearly always fall way, way short of expectations and fail spectacularly.

<p>I've been struggling to get quality match ratings with my TCW game outside my top guys. I've been experimenting to see what I'm doing wrong, but was getting no results.</p><p> </p><p>

I finally turned the Dirt Sheet on to see what's going, something I usually avoid. Aside from the fact that like <strong>75%</strong> of TCW's roster is in decline (WTF!), each wrestler is being penalized because high risk is banned. </p><p> </p><p>

So, I go to the product page and remove that high risk to see the results. And just like, boom. My matches are improved by <strong>at least</strong> ten points. They really didn't like that high risk ban!</p><p> </p><p>

I really don't like changing the product immediately, but the ban is kinda dumb (which makes sense when you consider all the other decisions TCW has made). I mean, you have a bunch of high fliers on the roster, but you're banning high risk? Forget that! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

I am running into problems on TCW Events. Mostly with I guess the word I am looking for is theme ideas. Total Mayhem would be like TCW's wrestlemania. TCW Battleground I could see like a survivor series event. But the rest drawing a blank on.

So am i just lucky??? I had USPW not want to resign Casey Valentine, won the competition for Tommy Cornell to return, currently fighting for Remo and the Crippler, Ending March with $25Mill ($6mill Profit?????) with a $8Mill fine for breaking TV deals to sign with new broadcasters as getting to big, an 88 and rising wrestling industy, with an 38 economy and rising, and my lowest PPV rating an 83?

Total Mayhem would be a cross between Wrestlemania and TNA lockdown with the Total Mayhem match being a 4 on 4 Cage match.

Its not really those two, I could run with it on those. Its the other months I struggle with.

Well, the "Total Mayhem" match is a 4x4 30 minute Iron Man match in a steel cell, so the Total Mayhem event could be more of a cross between WrestleMania and WarGames.

It may help to look at the event details and see if there is a certain match (would be under AI instructions) type tied to the event.

Summer Showdown would likely be similar to SummerSlam or Great American Bash/Bash at the Beach

King of Kings similar to King of the Ring

Battleground has the all 4x4 AI instruction, so Survivor Series.

Just a few thoughts.

I generally run 4-6 theme PPVs a year, mostly because I think 4 weeks is too short a time to book meaningful feuds so I like to have at least 6 weeks between Big Events and fill the gaps with themed shows. Here are some I use:

Tag Team Tournament - run a tournament and have the semi-finals and finals at the PPV, fill the rest of the show with other tag matches)

Women's Cup - another tournament-based theme, this one like a female King Of The Ring or G1.

World Cup - If you have enough workers from different nations/continents, make some teams and have them duke it out in tag and singles matches for a World Cup-style trophy.

International Crossover - If you have a good relationship with an international company (say, PGHW) do a show in that company's home country with inter-promotional matches.

Dungeon Of Destruction/Destiny - Six singles matches determine who will enter the Dungeon (Elimination Chamber) and the winner goes on to receive a title shot at the next PPV.

You can also do a men's tournament (though TCW has King Of Kings already), cruiserweight-themed show, a Battlebowl-type show. I do like having themed shows to break up the booking and they can also work to set up new feuds. Hopefully some of those ideas help.

I'm about to get stuck into my "proper" TCW save, having done trial versions of TCW, SWF and CWA. Looking forward to seeing if I can keep disciplined to maintaining a small roster. Also looking to start a child developmental company for women workers (with a view to introducing a women's division after Total Mayhem) and a TCW Network to air that child company and a TCW B-show). Also thinking of running King Of Kings as a two-month G1-style tournament with it's own TV show as a limited-run thing.

Aside from Total Mayhem, in 2016 "The War To Settle The Score" was technically a themed PPV, in that the AI was set to book all the matches as 1 on 1. Of course, since the AI for booking TCW in 2016 in general was 85%, this would often produce a card not much different than what you'd get on weekly TV. (Also, since it wasn't a Season Finale, few, if any, scores would actually be settled.)

Also, can I say how great it is that you can tweak the autobooker for your company directly from the product screen instead of having to go into the in-game editor? Admittedly, like a lot of the product settings, it's a "broad strokes" deal and you can't fine tune the ratios exactly where you might like, but overall, I like it.

I have plans for Nick Booth to betray Sinner Society, and have them get blindsided by a new group after Peak loses to Andrews of Booth, Dead Men Walking (Gravedigga + Mobstar) Hell's Bouncer and the leader, Matthew DeVille (Aldous Blackfriar).

DeVille would then beat Peak at Mayhem, and the group would all become big players in the company. Also ideas are having more GSW people to the group over time, and have it be a way to get the good GSW workers into the company.

Any ideas of names for people would be great. Blackfriar will be called Matthew Deville, but the others (including Booth) I'm open to name suggestions

any help would be appreciated, I'm booking the show today and i have no idea what to call them

He's basically doing a Biker-Taker-light gimmick anyway in my head, so it makes sense to me to dress him up a bit and it might suit the way you're booking him too.</p>

So in my game Joshua Taylor who I have in a story line with Human Arsenal has offered to put over T-Bone Bright, good for the next 3 months or two matches, I'm just not sure how I go about it as it may mean cutting short the story with Arsenal.

Cut it short, T-Bone is young and very talented. Arsenal is on his way out.

Or maybe find a way to include T-Bone in to that storyline?

I really like T-Bone, I had him join Mighty Meaty and they created a brotherhood stable, and they are doing really well.

Definitely. And T-Bone also has a brawling skill in the mid 70s to ensure that your wild brawls get even better grades. Note, I'm note even sure if brawling has anything to with wild brawls, I just assume!

That's not to say you should push Arsenal down the card, though. He's still a reliable enough worker to fill out your midcard. It's just that he's nearly a 27 year vet that's broken down and probably on that slippery slope that is time decline.

The start of the TCW legacy, and boy is that some "hardcore" AI:

J3BSk3B.jpg

"Quick City Kingpins" are Liberty & The Danger Kid.

This is want I want to see. The solo angles are a bit meh, but this is awesome.

Oh, and Dusty Streets is World champion. Not that anybody cares. Wow, Sam... That's harsh man. What a dick. :p

Human Arsenal costs Josh the matches with T-Bone. Simple.

Thanks guys.

I'll probably follow the advice and cut it short, I've only had it live for the first week of the save so a quick match and drop out, maybe find a way to involve him.

You could have Arsenal take T-Bone under his wing and use him to beat Taylor twice. First time tainted victory second one clean.
