Very, very sorry about that. I assume when I moved some things around my mediafire account, it must have messed with the shared link? I was hoping to be quicker to respond to this, but life intervened, but no matter because I have actually improved upon that data massively. It isn't the actual 1.0 release, as that is a way off and still waiting on making sure the other scenes outside of America are stable and after a few multi-year watchers, it seems to be running pretty nicely, so here is the .9 version data. I also updated the front page with links to the resources this mod uses/pictures needed to show up that I assigned.

 

Note: Some of the luchadors don't have pictures because I have done some cuts for them myself, but still working on them, so they are pictureless so far.

 

Still lots of things to improve on overall and lots of things to complete, but if you wanna play what I have as of this moment and the continuous improvements to it, here you go. If you have an feedback, concerns or wish to help, don't hesitate to put them in this thread or put them in a PM for me.

Bob Backlund is missing, he was in the 2000 Royal Rumble and then went on to manage Kurt Angle briefly.</p><p> </p><p>

Virgil should have the ring name Mr. Jones in WCW, he was The Cat's manager.</p><p> </p><p>

A number of broadcasters throw up an error when starting a new game for requiring min pop in more areas than they cover.</p><p> </p><p>

Midajah should be Scott Steiner's manager, also April Hunter is missing she was a member of the nWo girls with Tylene Buck & Midajah at this time.</p><p> </p><p>

The Jung Dragons tag team should be inactive as they weren't formed until Feb 2000.</p><p> </p><p>

Midnight should be manager for Booker T.</p><p> </p><p>

Horace Hogan should still be contracted to WCW, he didn't leave till after the Hogan/Russo incident in July.</p>

I'd bump up the Brooklyn Brawlers psychology as he isnt a very good road agent.</p>

Thats weird on the assigned picture thing, could you provide me a newly started game screen with the ngo pack attached, so I could see the pictures in action? I have Trips at the start as an 84 which is like 1 pop point below Foley and I think 2000 is his breakout year in terms of being in that category of higher star for the WWF as him and Steph dominate TV and he is put into these major programs with Rock, Foley and later Austin. I feel star is a nice spot for him, but I'm still fiddling with things. Davey Boy has been bumped, alot of the popularity of WWF and WCW guys have been fixed. Alot of them were really low and just in test runs not getting the grades and crowd reactions you'd expect Godfather or Venis, etc to get. Also Brawler has been massively upgraded as a road agent, so no worries for that.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Just wanted to pop in and say this project isn't dead and far from it. I appreciate all the feedback in this thread and private messages I've received. This is still of course still going on and will still be dropped at beta at 1000 workers. You may want to have a quick skim though broadcasters, all the ones set to internet subscription, most should probably be set to cable subscription, also you may also want to define the styles.

Just wanted to pop in and share where we are with this mod right now. As you can see in the screenshots, still looking at the Monday timetable or that early December date:

- I've Added 40 companies total that you start the game with

-Reworked popularity of the big three companies and Japanese companies

-Added Dojo history for most of the dojos in game

-Added more events for companies

-Added bios, attributes, etc to the Japanese wrestlers

-So Much more.

 

 

Now this is way off in the future, but my plan with this mod was to always create the January 2000 mod and use it as a base for either a standalone mod that would start earlier or after or just provide a separate time in 2000 to have the mod start in, which brings me to ask, which would people rather prefer:

1. A spin off of this mod that basically starts in June, the first month for Pro Wrestling NOAH

2. Start a year earlier and have the mod start in January of 1999

 

I'll probably do both, but if you would rather one hold priority over the other, please let me know.

And I'm in camp June 2000. Though i'd mostly just mess around with January
