As i settled on my office a day removed from Episode 3. We have had three successful shows so far. The storylines have been set and we are all set for the final show of February which is supposed to be big.

A number of new faces debuted in the last show which were all WWA graduates. While Enomoto, Awatari and Sigurdsson were thrusted straight into a storyline with Old Guard, Jay Silver the WWA:USA graduate debuted against Bollywood and the reception has been pretty good. Another couple of people are yet to debut but they have some important role to play.

So, Episode 4 would be a catalyst for the vision, the turning point for this organization. This is where we crown our 1st champion and also where i complete my 1st acid test given by my boss. The matches were planned, the angles have been booked. Can we deliver??

Attendance increase!!! We welcome 11 more people than the last show as the advertisement of the title match did help.

Tejas Zutshi/Mean Streets Mohan vs The Sensationals(Prince Rupy/Kolkata Jai)

The opening tag match was of course not a great way to start the show but Rupy and Jai needed an easy win and they took approximately 8 minutes to finish off the upstarts. Kolkata finishes this off with a Kolkata Smash (discuss lariat).

Result
: Sensationals beat Zutshi and Mohan with Kolkata Jai over Zutshi via Kolkata Smash.

Kashmir’s lackeys start the show with a quick and dominant win. They are gaining ground very quickly.

Kumar Kong
:
But none of them are in the title match are they?? Anyways i am off to call the bastards who attacked us.

With that, he got up from his seat and walked to the ring to join his partner Bullet Babu Menon.</div>

Segment: Old Guard calls out the attackers

Kumar Kong
:
Hello beautiful audience. Thank you for coming here and being a part of this wonderful event. Now, i am standing here for a purpose. Last show, some rotten scoundrels decided to make a name for themselves by targeting us and thought they could make an example. But, newsflash, we are still standing and we will be waiting till you reveal your ugly face so that the example will be you all.

Suddenly the arena goes dark and a booming voice starts echoing.

Unknown voice
:
Kumar Kong, Bullet Babu Menon. Two famous and legendary names in the Indian independent wrestling scene. The protector of Indian values and traditions, the Old Guard. It feels so good to be called by those names but have you ever thought what happens to people who don’t get support?? What happens to people who gets rejected??

The light comes back and we see the three mystery people of last show in the ring standing menacingly.

Unknown voice
:
Awatari, Enamoto and Sigurdsson, wrestling graduates and great potential but...... got rejected from their own countries , nobody giving a damn, nobody giving a chance. What about them??

Bullet Babu Menon
:
Who the hell are you whacko??

Unknown voice
: (laughing eerily)
You will come to know soon. Because i am just like them and i have a special bond with Kumar Kong. So, it’s time The Rejects makes their cause known. It’s time The Rejects show the world their true potential and it starts with you. Tokyo Mountains, go get them.

yoBLq8Qs.jpgghaKSKUs.jpg?1KfND71Bs.jpgvHgczRSs.jpgSlORM3Vs.jpgW/ IyoDSh3s.jpg

The massive tag team from Tokyo had a big size advantage over The Old Guard but Kong and Menon used all their experience to reduce that advantage, isolating one mountain at a time and wearing them down with painful stretches but as they were gaining the upper hand, a counter Irish whip from Awatari to Kong send him tumbling over the ropes and Sigurdsson knicks a cheap shot on the falling Kong. He sends him straight back to the ring where Enamoto hits the enormous Mountain Slam (delayed choke slam) to get the pin.

Result
: Tokyo Mountains beat The Old Guard with Enamoto over Kong via Mountain Slam

Baljit
:
Hello ladies!!!!
(as he leers into the few pretty young things who had made their way to the show on the front row)
and all the remaining common folks, be blessed in the presence of a true Bollywood superstar. Now i have a very serious issue to take on. You know, when my father launched this promotion, it was supposed to be the showcase of my talents, the cornerstone of my achievements and yet i was fed to the wolves in the 1st month. People who were jealous of my looks so they tried destroying me but you should know pretty well, once a superstar, always a superstar and so i am here after defeating two wrestlers in one night. The powers to be can’t contain the lava of stardom and so here’s what i will do.

I will be the acid test that one has to go through to reach anywhere, i will be the obstacle to their progress and

Jay Silver walks out again to face the challenge of Avatar and this time it was a much more open match. With the duration being lower, both of them showed their technical prowess with Silver employing a painful hammerlock with extra leverage which almost tore the hands of Avatarbut luckily he broke it and then a couple of haymakers followed before a running clothesline took the steam out of Silver. He continued working on the inner thighs completely incapacitating him before he finishes off with the Bollywood Special #1 to win the title.

Doesn’t matter Tahil whether he is a product of nepotism or not but he managed to put down Silver for two straight shows now. Maybe next time, we see a different man taking him on.

Kashmir Singh vs Parvin Kishan

nuynJors.jpgKfND71Bs.jpg9nuuarss.jpg

Kishan was the first off the blocks as he didn’t wait for Kashmir to finish mouthing insults to crowd, and dropkicks him on the back. A couple of running boots to the back and Kishan was like a man of fire. He tried a high risk move after completely battering down Kashmir and went for a flying headbutt but Kashmir’s experience was not too be counted out as he grabs Kishan in mid-air and turns it into a scoop slam. After recovering his senses, he keeps working on the arms repeatedly driving his knees releasing large painful screams from Kishan before slapping on his infamous Kashmir Clutch and that’s all she had wrote for The Original.

MGPW Grand Championship: Bali Daljit vs Arush Sarja

The two wrestlers had respect for each other, more so Sarja who started unusually with a Namaste, the traditional Indian greeting which surprised the SNP veteran but he smiled back. They started with a feeling out process and normal holds and counter holds. The first significant offense came from Sarja who flies on the rebound from an Irish whip with a roundhouse kick.

A couple of elbow drops later, Daljit was feeling the heat. As Sarja was warming up the crowd for his Sensational Drop finish, out comes Prince Rupy and Kolkata Jai and they starts walking towards the ring. The ref asks them to get back and even Daljit gets up and pleads with them to not interfere but in this commotion, nobody sees Kashmir coming from the other side and knocking the seated Sarja’s legs repeatedly on the corner post. With their work finished, they go back and Daljit sees Sarja struggling on the top rope.

He swiftly executes a top rope Olympic Slam. After shaking out the cobwebs, he goes back to the top rope and amidst some cheers and executes the always beautiful Firestarter to get the pinfall and become the 1st champion of MGPW.

NEW TALENT PROFILE PART 1

With our second month completed, we were excited to finally crown our Grand Champion, Bali Daljit who fought in our best match till date with Arush Sarja.

Also, Bollywood Baljit Avatar has got a championship all to himself so i believe that will score some brownie points for me from his dad.

We also debuted some new wrestlers this month and i am giving you a brief profile on them.

SlORM3Vs.jpgvHgczRSs.jpg

Shogo Awatari
&
Kawanari Enomoto
forms the massive tag team Tokyo Mountains. Both 2019 graduates of the WWA: Japan, they are hoping that their size and dominant ability means they can strike big in the world of wrestling.

Fun Fact: Enomoto is 360 lbs in size while Awatari is even bigger at 385 lbs.

IyoDSh3s.jpg

Thorsten Sigurdsson
, makes up the 3rd part of the 3 man stable, The Rejects along with Tokyo Mountains although recent events have led to believe that there is somebody else who is pulling the strings. The ultra muscular Norwegian who is 2019 graduate of the WWA: Europe facility, he can go far with the right guidance.

Fun Fact: His big viking beard and his mohawk hair gives him a savage aura so he is an instant monster heel for any company.

aVXFMqKs.jpg

Jay Silver
is a bright young prospect from New Mexico, who is the 2019 graduate of WWA: USA. He was making waves in the american indies with his strike based style but due to lack of work, he traveled to India to be a part of MGPW. Although he has lost twice to Baljit Avatar, he has great skills making him a horse for the long run.

Fun Fact: His brutal knee strikes often elicits audible "wows" from the crowd whenever he connects.

From there on , Kar surprisingly did well with an armbreaker out of nowhere coercing wild screams from Baljit. The new pairing of Jay Silver and Rahul Venkatesh didn’t work well as they kept messing up the tag. In Silver’s case, he wasn’t interested in tagging at all, trying to grab all the action by himself while the one chance that Venkatesh got, he blewed it up by going for an unnecessary flashy move of a running plancha which floored both the brawling Silver (who had gone outside after reluctantly tagging his partner) and Menon but he hurt himself as well. Kong, the legal man , brought him in ring and hits the Kong Crusher to get the pin.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Originals started like a house of fire, the words of Kashmir Singh driving their desire up. Sarja was especially brutal on Jai with a series of rapid kicks bringing the big man down. Kishan also joined in by damaging Rupy but you can never keep Kashmir out of the equation as he tried his distraction tactics which helped get his team back and they turned the tables. But Sarja punches Kashmir hard while he was making faces on the apron and then ducks the big boot of Jai which catches Kashmir and he goes flying. An overhead kick brings down the big man and then he goes for the Sensational Drop hitting it successfully and coming up with a big win. </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kashmir tried taking advantage by going for the pin but somehow Sarja kicks out at the last second. He grabs Sarja by his neck and puts him in a sidelock before sending him crashing towards turnbuckle. He hits a middle rope axehandle and tries for a pin again but Sarja kicks out at the last minute for a second time. Visibly frustrated, Kashmir tries throwing him out of the ring but Sarja blocks it and then counters with a few punches of his own. A running shoulder block gives him back his momentum and after a few substantial moves, Sarja gets ready for Sensational Drop but Rupy starts distracting the ref on the apron and from the other side, Jai hits a brass knuckles out of nowhere. Seeing Sarja dropping dead, Kashmir quickly locks in the Kashmir Clutch and takes the win by cheating again.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

So, we are almost 3 months in and have been making steady progress. So, i needed a talk with my boss to discuss something very important. As i was walking towards his chamber, i saw his secretary passing by giving me a smile. I smiled back and proceeded towards my meeting.

Mr. Avatar
:
Congrats Kashmir. You are doing good. You even managed to keep your promise. The Open Challenge title is a great concept. Hopefully, he keeps this up.

Kashmir
:
Thank you sir. I had a proposition to discuss and i was wondering if you would like to hear it.

Mr. Avatar
:
As long as it doesn't involve any further investment, i am all ears.

Kashmir
:
Sir, just hear me once. We have been getting more and more popular. We are now 35th in the world, having moved ahead of ZEN. We definitely need a bigger launch pad to move further. So, i was suggesting if you can put us on your streaming service. It will enable us to reach more eyes and...

Mr. Avatar
:
Come on Kashmir, we have gone over this before. Until you start drawing atleast 200+ to your shows, I am not putting it.

Kashmir
:
But sir, we need to start exploring other avenues to make money. I mean we are making losses each month.

Mr. Avatar
:
No way. You had taken ownership of this and you told me that you will work out everything. I don't want to be a part of this initial struggle. Talk to me when you start churning profits. Now, if you excuse me, i have some important matters to take care of.

And with that, the meeting finished and i had to make an exit.

Then, an idea struck me. If i will not get help from my boss, then i should take matters on my own hands. After working with my close confidantes and team, finally we had it in our hands, our own IPPV, with a small coverage in India:

Although, the money for it was pulled in from our initial investment fund from Mr. Avatar, i believe we should start adding profits after a while.

The big Norwegian was like a raging bull, beating Kong from pillar to post, but it was evident that he was still too green as evidenced by a complete lack of flow in the match. He floors Kong with two powerslams before going for the table break with a Viking Blow (John Cena’s FU) but Kong gets himself clear and then delivers some big clubbing blows to his back before he lays out the table on a corner and then a couple of elbow strikes and lariats later, he hits a corner splash which breaks the table and Kong somehow manages a win.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

This was a showcase match between the members of the three teams who would be fighting for the tag titles at Overload. With some well placed chops and painful arm twisters, Menon managed an upperhand but Kishan foiled his plans and then went for Payload (Unprettier) but Awatari knocks him with a punch and then tries the Mountain Slam but Menon fights it out and locks in the Figure Four making Awatari tap out.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

This was a bloody brawl. Baljit was not used to a hardcore match so he got repeatedly bashed by chair which busted him open. Dangermouth took full advantage using chair as his partner and deploying it whenever Baljit would try to gain upperhand. After re-gaining his senses, he busted out his Bollywood Special #2 to chalk up his 3rd defense.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Another clusterf**k of a match as the tension between Old Guard and Tokyo Mountains was palpable and they tried outhitting each other, completely forgetting the presence of a 3rd team. Sigurdsson tried to get involved by keeping Kishan and Sarja at bay but they both combined with tandem top rope splash to take him out of equation. The 1st elimination occurred when Awatari hit the Mountain Slam on Menon through the table to get the Old Guard eliminated.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Angry at this, Kong fished out a chair from underneath the ring and hit some sickening chairshots on the back of Awatari before he was taken down by Enamoto as they took their fight outside. Sensing an opportunity, Kishan and Sarja managed to lay the semi-conscious Awatari on the table before Sarja managed his Sensational Drop to get the table crashing and by blind luck, becoming the tag team champions.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

A show of strength starts the proceedings with Kashmir gaining mileage and an arm drag later, manages to get in an armlock. After a few minutes when all we hear is screams from the champ, he manages to break free and then delivers a belly-to-belly. The champ then gets in a couple of stiff kicks to the body of Kashmir and then goes for a running dropkick to the corner but Kashmir counters it into a powerbomb. A series of reversals later, Kashmir Singh was the first to get a clear cut chance at climbing the ladder when he was just two rungs up, a diving spear from Bali Daljit crashed them down. A similar attempt from Daljit also was foiled when Kashmir threw a ladder to his back. After a while with the ending fast approaching, it was Kashmir who crashed when Daljit ducked a missile dropkick. He then buys himself some time before delivering the Firestarter which finished the Sensationals leader. He recovered, climbed up the ladder and chalked up yet another defense.</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">
