Meddling?

<p>I don’t know if this is a glitch or just a design choice but is it supposed to be very difficult to successfully meddle in relationships? Just seems a little odd to me that unless two people have the exact same personality that successful meddling is unlikely </p><p> </p><p>

Perhaps it should be that certain personalities have a higher chance of working - Professional, Driven, Quiet, Loner And Stalwart for example should gel well</p><p> </p><p>

Relaxed, Lively, Free Spirit, Class Clown, Party Animal, And Maybe People Person should gel</p><p> </p><p>

Irrepresible should gel well with almost anyone but be albeit rare</p><p> </p><p>

Intense could probably gel with driven, stalwart, Needy?, And Bully</p><p> </p><p>

Mercenaries should gel with selfish, Insecure?, Sleazy?, Egomaniacs?, And Wild</p><p> </p><p>

Prickly to gel with Gloomy, Insecure, and Needy</p><p> </p><p>

Sleazy gels with Troublemaker, Agitator, Egomaniac, And Grifter</p><p> </p><p>

Unpredictable is the equivalent to random</p><p> </p><p>

Scumbags have positive relationship with no one including other scumbags (they feel threatened) <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

So anyone else agree or disagree with this?</p><p> </p><p>

I've already had about as much successful meddling in 2020 as I did in my entire 2016 career, it feels like. Are you looking at the odds?

It definitely feels like I have less odds than before, (only success I’ve had was two people of the same personality with Sophie on , and it still took like ten tries) I failed 100+ times when trying two different personalities and still haven’t had a successful meddle there, I’m just curious if the odds are worse this year and if so why?

 

Forgot that in 16 I had hundreds possibly thousands successful meddles before with some variety in personalities

I have never had a lot of success with meddling, apart from removing a TONNE of simmering tensions added due to a worker's backstage shenanigans (HBK vs Owen or Hogan vs Austin, for example).

Reminded me of something that happened in my Local to Global file

 

Elsa Calvo cheated on one of my Main Eventers with Con McReady which made everyone hate them for about 2 years lol

 

Now Elsa married Felipe Caballero so alls good though

 

Anyways as for the meddling I’m curious if anyone knows how to look under the hood so to speak? Could answer my question pretty quickly

In 2016 I used to run with low leadership and very high diplomacy, I could basically meddle at will with results, creating dozens of friendships within a year of gameplay.

 

So far I’ve gotten two in the first month. Seemingly being linked to personality seems more restricting though, or at least it dissuades you from going for those oddball relationships.

I’m ok with meddling being tied to relationships but

 

They need to make sure they make sense which is what I tried to convey in my initial post but I don’t think I did that very well

 

For example it makes since to me that it would be much less likely to meddle a loner and a bully positively but meddling a lively with a people person should be possible
